Second problem was with the items charged at the bill: They double charged our dinner costs.

(Trust me location is worth it when it comes to all the activities below)

The natural hot water park (only for guests of the hotels) is great and calming with may different temperature pools with varying depths.

The location is very convinient, close to the water park, the resort hot pools.

The best experience is  surfing in a hot water wave swimming pool.

It also gives free access to the hot water baths.

The place is beautiful and the hot waters are relaxing.

In the other side, the restaurant staff is very gentle and polite and the swimming pools that are hot and very beautiful.

There was a few other activities at the resort we didn’t do

Good cost benefit for meals inside the resort, breakfast and lunch all you can eat includind beverages.

It can be slightly pricier than the Hotel Pousada,

I have previously stayed in the Hotel Pousada, and the Tourismo Hotel is new since my last visit (quite a few years ago).

You really can feel in a resort refresh your mind.

We stayed at the Turismo Hotel from May 25th to May 28th, 2017.

The thematic dinner was full, ordering drinks was a great effort and the food was only ok - had better dishes at other resorts and hotels.

Negative notes: we were looking for a hotel with a GOLF COURSE as announced

The resort in general is fantastic .. the natural pools are unbeatable.

We had most of our meals at the hotel and enjoyed their theme nights.

but in my opinion Tursimo is the best one because of location and facilities.

My family has been going to Rio Quente Resorts for almost 20 years and Turismo, since it was first opened, has constantly stood out as our favorite location to stay.

Talk about the location & amenities
The hotel is very well located close a desativated vulcano mountain witch supplies by a hot water creek hidden in an amazing "cerrado" forest.

Also, it is a great location because it is equally distanced from Hot Park and the Parque das Fontes (Fountains' Park), where the thermal pools are located, and within a short walk to the Toldo do Bosque, where the evening shows occur.

Everything rest was great.The place is great, the nightly shows are wonderful and the heated pools are the maximum.I hope to return soon to relax and have fun.

Do not miss the “Araras” flying around the pool by the end of the day.

On the good side, the pools have clear and fresh warm water and bars where you can relax.

Hotel Turismo, on the grounds of Rio Quente Resorts, is a good basic hotel with lovely grounds and a pool.

Just the noise of the Araras early early was bad.

Most folks head to the Hot Park rides first thing in the morning, so the thermal pools are peaceful and quiet (like they were years ago) for at least a few hours in the morning.

It is too noisy during the evenings because of the shows prepared for teenagers.

We tried to get a quieter room overlooking the fishing lake,

When booking her room, we were informed that there was direct transfers between the hotels and that they ran every 20 min during 24h.

NOTE: Not all rooms have wifi, as per feedback given by the receptionist.

And the rooms with three beds could have a lounge area, instead of a third bed, since many people travel only in two people.

Rooms are still bad, no dressers , closets.

Our second room was much better smelling.

Confortable and very clean room make you feel at home.

but instead ended up overlooked the front drive, which was a bit noisy when transfer buses were there early in the morning.

To go to Turismo, or even Crystal, you have to either walk from a transfer stop or take another internal one.

The hotel is very close to the Water Park, which is the main attraction.

Loads of fun and attractions, good food, good bedrooms not to mention the amazing hot water and the wonderful employees.

  Lots of things could be better for families travelling with small children, such as..
- Direct Transportation to "Hotibum" attraction.

The swimming pools and attractions at the Pousada do Rio Quente and Hot Park are also AMAZING and toddler friendly!

Courtesy carts take you to the VIP beach area at the Hot Park (hotel guests only) from which you can take advantage of the attractions there, especially good for families.

I am a Brazilian leaving abroad and decided that my next vacation should be in this hotel, where my mom wanted to go for years.

The gardens are amazing and we all enjoyed the fragments of “cerrado” surrounding the hotel (an important native forest of Brazil).

Very good hotels inside the park (Turismo, Pousada and Cristal hotel).

One of the first changes I noticed was the addition of two new hotels to the resort complex -- the Cristal and the Tourismo.

Hotel considered five stars need more structure for that  like sports area etc.

A regular courtesy bus takes you to the Hotel Posada on the complex where there are great hot natural pools.

There are shuttles in an hourly basis after 11pm for people staying in hotels outside the complex.

From the front desk, help with our bags, service at the bar near the pool and the breakfast/lunch restaurant.

at the park pools cleanliness was poor at the bar and bar tables, I've cleaned the tables.

the live music in the pool at night is amazing.

The infinity pool was gorgeous at the hotel and the sunsets were spectacular!

but my brother-in-law has stayed there a few times and described it as classy and high-end with a beautiful infinity pool.

People say the water flow is around 1.6 million gallons/h, which is enough to renovate the pools many times a day.

They have an infinity pool with a great view.

but mild temperatures before or after winter.

but signal is spotty and tend to disconnect.

During my stay I identified 3 things that still need to be improved: 1) the check-in was too slow; 2)wi-fi in our room was horrible (I did not care too much because I mostly left my cell phone in the safe box to force myself out of work. Lol.

This hotel is perfect for families visiting Hot Park, it's located near lots of restaurants and shops and just 10 minutes walk from Hot Park entrance.

but the best part is the private hot river that runs inside the property.

This property is a good cost x benefit for its location and facilicities on site, specially the private hot river.

This is one of the hotels outside of the water park so its rates are very reasonable.

So you can leave your car at the hotel (free parking is offered) and save some money from parking fees.

Additionally, the apartments are very spacious and they offer awesome breakfast and dinner that can be included on your reservation.

It's two blocks from the Main Street that has a lot of choices on dinner and less than  a mile from hot park!

Room cleaning was acceptable, internet not the greatest we could not stream anything, download anything or work with the wifi at this hotel, not much selection for TV.

If this hotel is really number 1 or 2 in Caldas Novas, there is a massive gap for a decent one.

We stayed for three days in this hotel, and we think that this isn't a resort, it's one simple hotel.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms and lobby, good food, pleasant swimming pools for children.

We also had access to the pools there, which was a plus.

As mentioned in other reviews, it's not a resort, just a hotel with warm water pools - colder than it should!

The hot thermal pools are very clean and that’s what really matters when you visit Caldas Novas.

We took the bus to go into the resort and there we could use the whole facility including hot park.

And they have a bus for the Hot Park, a park with warm waters and water slides. Owesome!

Most people enjoy Rio Quente Resort due to "Hot Park", a water park as good as the best in the country with the advatage that the water is deliciously hot.

Better get one of the hop on, hop off buses to Hot Park.The transport to Hot Park works on a timely fashion (every 15 mins),

4day pack is not enough for fun, spa, eco trails, city tour and relax 6 days seema ro be nice: first for spa and relax in fontes pool, second for hot park and some photos, third for eco trails and radical sports, fourth for artifitial beach and sand sports, firh for Calda Novas City tour (dinner at city square) and the last day for diving, biking or relaxing again in pools.

There is plenty of things to do in that resort, from scuba diving to a night club.

Very nice hotel with comfort and quality, I loved the aquatic complexes and the vegetation, and great location.

The cristal hotel is the new fancy and expense one.

You'll have to lower your expectations and quality standards to enjoy the resort.

My daughter and I stayed 4 days at Hotel Pousada (June 7-10).

We were only there for three days, so we lost one day at the Hot Park because of its scheduled maintenance.

but very weak internal lighting, Few and not well trained employees.

Suite & Flat III was kind of a disappointment.

but they are always crowded and the staff is unable to provide you with accurate information on the natural attractions or even simple instructions on how to get towels.

Rio Quente is a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in relaxing in its hot waters.

All the pools are with warm waters and there are pools for every age.

The water parks are really nice and well equiped,

My kids loved it and the hot water is nice to relax.

Hosts of the Resort are able to access the Fountain Park, where the fresh heated water mines are located.
