This is a small hotel with no lounge or bar area so is not suitable for those who like to have a livelier atmosphere,

This hotel must have changed a lot,as there is now no bar or cafe.

There is no bar and drinks are served in the restaurant.

There is a small bar area which remained resolutely closed throughout the week.

Only complaint would be that hotel felt soulless at night with no real bar area and we found ourselves staying in the dining room chatting to fellow guests.

I suspect that people further from the door were less troubled; (iii) we were supplied with one small bar of soap and two shampoo sachets for our entire week.

On the advice of an earlier comment I took a bar of soap and shower gel (also a shower hat).

i do not believe that the owners wish to make anymore income from the bar in th evenings hence the early closing.

Despite clearly being very busy Veronika took the time to keep us company in the bar one evening when we asked to watch the Bayern Munich game.

Old room, old carpet old bath room, no AC in summer, beds unconfortable, smelly room (to avoid smell open the window permanently.

The bathroom was compact and had only a shower

On our check out day we had a late collection and the staff advised if we needed to freshen up you could use the shower area by the Sauna if needed.

If you like a cuppa, take a kettle and definitely take shower gel and shampoo etc as there isn't a lot in the rooms,

The earliest bath was 4.15am, the latest shower was just before midnight.

Bring soap and shower gel because German hotels apparently only give one night's supply.

The food was very poor most of the week anyway with some guests (including myself eating in the town).

The only niggle was that the WiFi in our room was poor and consisted of obtaining vouchers that only allowed 6 hours online,

however, was pretty poor due to the fact we could hear running water, toilets flushed, showers and baths being run at all hours.

but set in beautiful countryside with stunning views of the mountains from our room balcony.Our room was clean and adequate, only thing missing was a kettle and fridge.

The room was spotlessly clean, warm and cozy, with a beautiful view of the mountains.The local buses stop outside the hotel, and there are several that you can catch, including the many ski buses, all of which are free.

Our room was clean and comfortable had a great view of the alps to the south from the balcony.

The rooms were clean and the service from all of the restaurant, cleaning staff and management at the hotel was top rate.

There were plenty of good points about the hotel: we had a very good, spacious, clean room, with a balcony and nice views; the hotel is out of the town and very quiet at nights; the food was generally very good indeed, with the coffee at breakfast of a good standard (unlike in many other hotels that we have stayed in) and the staff happy to provide hot, frothy milk.

The room was clean, comfortable and functional with great views over the meadows towards the mountains.

We enjoyed a bright, clean room with wonderful views of the distant mountains.

The room was very clean as was all areas of the hotel.

The room we had was spotless, attractive and spacious, with a lovely view over meadows (with a donkey (some way off) that brayed every morning about 7.30am, e-hau's echoing all round the hills, got quite fond of him - we called him Cedric), with a backdrop of beautiful mountain scenery.

The room was very clean and the view out the window was so stunning.

But at the end of the day, a nice clean room, a nice comfortable bed, and a clean and updated bathroom all filled the bill so we were happy.

We stayed in a nice and clean room with a balcony overlooking the mountain.

We were greeted by the owner  who spoke very good english , and from then on things only got better , the rooms were very very clean the meals were excelent , the staff warm and friendly , we have been travelling to Germany for over 30 years and have never enjoyed a hotel as much , we will be back

The hotel and the rooms were clean and spacious (we have 2 small childrens).

but the room was clean as was the en-suite.

but really hard to find fault, only praise on this experience.

As a family of four and having experienced a bout of tiny hotel rooms, we were relieved to spend the night in the roomy family suite.

But you cannot imagine the breakfast service, it was the worst ever experience in all my time travelling regarding hotel breakfasts.

We didn't get to stay to explore the town,

but driving around, there are alot of other options in other towns where there appears to be more to do.

We had half board food and it was excellent - before we arrived here we thought that it was going to be a lot of sausages and basic food

Once in awhile the photos and words from a website truly represent a hotel destination.

While the featured picture is a little misleading (there are houses directly behind the photographer, and just outside the left of the frame), it is very scenic, quaint, and you can hike right out from the doorstep.

The place itself is super comfortable and our room was clean with a great bathroom.

The bed was extremely comfortable and everything in the room was clean and tidy.

The rooms were very clean, light and had a beautiful view on the hills around.

The hotel itself is a wonderful place, nice rooms that were very clean, quiet location and a wonderful staff that really take care of you.

We had a wonderful time in a well appointed, super clean room with superior dining for a week.

A limited choice of cooked food included scrambled or boiled eggs plus sausages or bacon.

On arrival we received a warm welcome from Anda (The owner) who showed us a lovely spacious impeccably clean room with a veranda overlooking the town which is only a five minute walk.

The linens were all well kept and our room was spotless every day.

If time permits, don't skip its complimentary sauna, steam bath + THE BREAKFAST!

Beautiful place and big, nice, very clean rooms.

Our bags already were in our rooms when we arrived and the rooms were clean, cozy and wonderfully situated across the hall from each other with a shared balcony.

There are other values about NUIHAUSA that would be better left to individual preferences and tastes. Sight-seeing attractions nearby – approx distance:

For anyone who has flown to Munich and wants to stop for a comfortable overnight about 90 minutes from there en route to a holiday destination that might be too long a drive after a long flight, this comfortable, well-situated guesthouse might be just the ticket.

The only minus is that not all of them have WIFI (they are supposed to.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because it should improve on wifi availability: the speed was horrendous, and since in the area there was not a good mobile reception, it was a must!

Only downsides were that are balcony didn't get evening sun (ask for room at the front) and that it was so quiet - we like quiet

but then without the wolves :)  Instead you'll find a creative, excellent kitchen; casual but stylish ambience; attentive service from all staff members, no exception; impeccable rooms & facilities; above all, in a heavenly calm location where you can sleep with open windows.

The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.

but personable hotel - we had a self catering apartment which was handy (though why no kettle?!).

Our only complaint, was that the Wifi was weak - something they are aware of and are working on.

Bit surprised a hotel of this size didn't have free wi-fi - stayed in smaller places that did.

The price performance relationship is not fair in our eyes.

When we checked out, they added another tax, and would not remove it despite my telling them what we were told and showing them the paper with the final price that showed "all taxes written on it.

For the price we paid, we would probably go back to one of the other hotels we have been to in the past.

We had 2 rooms and every room was clean, beautiful and completely full of necessary things.

strengths: great location (very quiet), very friendly and accommodating staff, wonderful food, close to many activities, clean rooms, solid walls that minimize noise from neighboring rooms
weaknesses: the "gym" is rudimentary, internet very spotty in the room, ongoing construction from 8am to 4pm of new buildings takes away from the otherwise quiet settings.

No fill up of shower gel and changing of towels.

Beds are uncomfortable and towels are thin and scratchy—- fabric softener?

This ruined our stay especially that the room was very hot (we were sweating by night) and there are no windows for a little breeze to come in except from the balcony .

Let's start with what we liked here : beautiful place, big and clean rooms, great location surrounded by nature, decent breakfast (although basic, especially the juices, too much sugar) 
But the doors to the balcony are difficult to open and
