Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Everything is really clean, the rooms are very comfortable, the food is delicious, the staff is amazingly friendly and the pool is great.

The Spa area with outdoor pool - magnificent !The staff very helpful and friendly, special room for skis and boots to dry  and the restaurant - we had breakfasts and dinners - we were really spoiled with gourmet dishes.

The chef took orders for omelette and preferred eggs every morning and we could enjoy show cooking:)  We stayed for a week on a skiing trip.

4* hotel plus, you even get sparkling wine for breakfast in the morning, that's more like a 5* hotel service:) Thank you again and again to the owners and the team for a week in paradise!!!

Nice rooms, a great swimming pool, rich buffet and delicious meals.

We stayed here for 2 days with my family and all of us loved this place. Just to give a quick summary:

Positive things: 
- clean, modern rooms
- quite versatile, delicious foods
- nice, helpful staff members
- clean, well maintained pool and relaxation area
- good saunas (especially loved the dampbad and it is nice that there are dried fruits, tea, water etc.)

It was rather surprise as breakfast was really great.

Food is very delicious with great variety.

The evening meal was also buffet style, again there was so plenty to choose from.

There's a full wellness center, full restaurant, option for half board or just breakfast, ping-pong, trampoline, outdoor natural pond for swimming or relaxing, indoor pool and the refreshing "water-treading" in a cold, spring-fed stream!

Food was very good here - dinner and breakfast.

Restaurant in the evening was absolutely good and breakfast was really superp.

There is a chef that can make scrambled eggs, pancakes and more.

The restaurant offers a buffet and a la carte traditional Austrian food.

It’s almost worth staying in the Romerhof merely because of this breakfast.

This hotel has super wellnes, delicious food, friendly staff .

We had all our windows open due to the heat of summer therefore, as a road-side hotel, the traffic early morning could be a tiny bit noisy

this is probably due in no small part to the ‘wellness’ facilities on offer at Hotel Romerhof.

but there are steps up to the ground floor, and a few more steps after taking the lift, which is not ideal for shlepping heavy bags.

but no help with bags and there are stairs between the car park and the lift and the lift and the rooms so make sure you carry your bags.

Only minus is the indoor smoking zone, which is located in the center of the bottom fælle, meaning that the smell often is noticable.

The smoke can be smelled far up on the first floor, etc.

but with the sort of local efficiency I’ve come to expect, I was slotted in on the end of a larger table.

Of course we weren't aware of this and sat down at the wrong table and were promptly shooed away to our assigned table.

Don't expect to play pool, the table is smaller than a normal one and not in good shape

The waiters should be better to see the various tables missing drinks.

Once again great time spent with my family in this fabulous hotel…booked a five nights stay…calm location, spacious room, great pool and the food is outstanding (Chef Robert makes the best omelettes I’ve ever had)…also bis zum nächsten mal!!! 👍👍👍

Breakfast was very rich, and - because we like to sleep:-), perfect is, that breakfasts are untill 11.00 !

The restaurant service is great and the food is perfect for breakfast and dinner as well.

Retention of employees is not easy in the Austrian alps, so I do hope that Danica, Joszef, Frau Haas, Natasja and all the other stars in the hotel are remunerated in such a way that they will still be there next time we show up.

Services are not four star and the hotel is not suitable for demanding luxury and style loving hotels as it is obsolete in some parts.

It is an OK 3 star hotel trying to be a 4 star.

This hotel is certainly NOT a 4 star superior hotel.

You can understand why this place used to be five stars.

The next morning Marlene and Hermann welcomed us and we got good breakfast.

Superb breakfasts, impeccably,spotless throughout.

Rooms clean and comfortable, prices reasonable, breakfast ok. Staff friendly and helpful (also a possibility to purchase ski tickets for Zell am See and Kaprun at the Pension reception).

The village is a bit strange - just a string of several hotels, B&Bs and a tourist info place, so no shops or other amenities.

Our room was cleaned on a daily basis, towels replaced and even our bed linen had been changed a day or two before our departure.

Due to bad weather we couldn't ride the mountain pass so my wife and i saw a camping sign as we passed this hotel.

I wanted to organise a surprise at breakfast for my son' - whose birthday it was  - and went into the kitchen to organise it in secret.

The servings were generous , and the dishes delicious.

Buffet breakfasts and dinners were sufficient and food especially for dinner was really good.

We had a half board reservation and both the breakfast and the dinner was great, including a wide choice of salads, fresh baked pastry, meat and also a vegetarian option.

We took advantage of the restaurant and had some delicious Austrian meals.

Ski bus stops (a few times) in front of the hotel or (more often) 300m walking distance.

If you wanne ski in this skiresort you should have your own car, cause by skibus it takes you one hour with changing bus in Zell am See.

Nothing was too much trouble and if something was used up then a simple request got fresh produce delivered to your table.

Without listening to me at all, the staff gruffly ordered me out of the kitchen (twice) and insisted on only talking to me in the restaurant - where my son was sitting.

The menu was different from night to night regarding the dinner, and there was a big buffet twice.

The Italian buffet, on the other hand, was lovely and the breakfast omelette (although only served 1 day/week) was great.

We used our own cars to get there, while our friends used the shuttle to the station (and a bus) and still found it comfortable enough), great food, spa area, and the peace after breakfasts and dinners when the kids just couldn't wait to go to the great kids' arena to play :-).

Examples: - owners who care for a very good atmosphere(greetings for AXEL), - delicious food, - always nice and helpful staff, - a lot of snow, - wellness zone, - good old friendly Wuschel.

I can assure you of: Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, excellent SPA, outdoor pool with thermal water, indoor pool, gym, big playground for children, indoor tennis courts, comfortable rooms, Owners asure all possible comfort for guests.

Breakfast is a buffet with an excellent plentiful choice.

The staff are so welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious!

I think that our children were probably a bit young to come here - the ski school at Bad Hofgastein is a bit 'shouty / unsmiley' for our 6 year old and the blue runs around Angertal / Bad Gastein and down to Bad Hofgastein are generally just narrow tracks, not proper pistes.

but very clean.The breakfast was great, lots of variety, more than we had had at any other hotel.

Breakfast with huge choice of diferent dishes is very good, everyone can find what they like.

What can I say everything about this hotel is first class,Good breakfast setting and selection is exceptional.

The breakfast that was included with our room was better than those in 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed in.

Closely (short drive) located to many of the areas great attractions (including the slopes in Zell am See-Kaprun); clean and well kept room with great service; food (breakfast and dinner/super combo) was outstanding!!!!

It was absolutely delicious (as was the next night's).

For what we paid, this entire stay was a total steal.

We used it for the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and Krimml Falls, which would have cost in excess of 50 euros, I believe.

but as I sat at breakfast one morning, I thought, "I could easily spend another week here" - especially since the room includes the National Park Summer Card for all guests.
