We had lunch when we arrived and finished the next morning with a lovely breakfast.

The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the food delicious.

The unlimited breakfast menu was most appreciated.

We could find no fault with our comfortable and well appointed room and the breakfast was excellent.

I couldn't have been better looked after by Poppie and Billy from perfect breakfast omelettes to a most comfortable bed and to organising melon free fruit salad!

I did not have time for breakfast so cannot comment.

Breakfast was top standard to set up for a good day ahead.

We enjoined the breakfast the following morning on the stoop, it definitely didn't feel like we were in the City
and the wipe was so relaxing.

I went there for a Spa booking for my birthday, and i will say i have found a new home.

The spa is nice and we had a great 3 hours of pampering.

The spa treatment was a highlight and the ladies are very professional.

After not traveling for months due to COVID-19, it was great to be welcomed back to the Mont d'Or Bohemian Guesthouse.

Been  visiting Bohemian for a few years now, and we value the consistancy, in terms of friendliness and also the room quality.Not all the rooms are the same, and i believe one should just make sure  that what it is you would like to have.The Bohemian has always been helpful in this regard; if we wanted different bed arrangements , for example.

This residence is excellent as well as the Staff and the General ManagerBreakfast is gorgious, our suite (they call it a room !)

The staff assisted with our UberEats order, they brought it to our room.

The guesthouse is built into the mountain so there are several stairs to climb which was not a problem for us,

The one drawback was the stairs up to the rooms,

Warning: there are three flights of stairs to negotiate to get there and whatever room you get you will have to climb.

but the best bit was when I asked the Lady of the house how I get to the interesting little second floor library which I could see had no wall and no stairs and was told "in your dreams". .

The evening meal and the breakfast next morning were taken in the elegant dining room.

True to form, again we were treated to a brilliant breakfast for the family.

Breakfast is served with a view over Pretoria and the breakfast itself is satisfying, again with outstanding service. Outstanding!

Supper and breakfast were freshly cooked and tasty.

The food offer at breakfast and dinner was good.

We had our evening meal in the restaurant which was exceptional in quality and service and the same goes for the breakfast.

but we had a table and room service for breakfast on our second visit which was perfect.

We had an early departure and were told we could have a continental breakfast - which turned out to be a very full one with cooked items as we wanted.

The breakfast was very good and we really appreciated that they let use the common areas well after we booked out.

Service on the terrace was appalling and similarly in their restaurant.

On arrival we were greeted most cordially and seated on the terrace with a drink until our room was ready for occupation.

Spacious room with everything you want, excellent food and service, peaceful shady garden and terraces to loiter whilst waiting for an onward connection.

Our room was huge and we loved the private terrace - the views from there and the main terrace were a bonus.

I have never seen such a large bathroom and we had our own terrace to sit on and take in the views.

We wanted some light lunch so because of the function we dined on a terrace.

Our room was spacious with a terrace, a dressing room and large bathroom.

We spent only one night there the hotel was amazing  the staff was very pleasant the room was very big with a huge terrace and a magnificent view   the food was of high standard   we will probably go back whenever we are in Pretoria

Multiple terraces, shaded balconies, tree shaded garden tables and chairs, pool side sun lounges all conspire to make you wish to stay longer.

We enjoyed the magnificent view from the tower terrace and the quiet surroundings.

We has a fantastic dinner on the terrace.

The building itself is stunning and it’s situation offers amazing views of Pretoria particularly from the rooftop terrace.

We were warmly greeted and shown us to our very large room opening onto a front terrace.

The hotel is beautifully furnished with lots of spaces to relax, including several terraces.

We stayed in a Terrace Room with a bed that could have slept 6 comfortably, a huge bath and shower that could fit two and a wonderful balcony with chairs where we sat out to have coffee and just be quiet.

but had a very pleasant breakfast on the terrace.

One might easily mistake the 360 degree view from the rooftop terrace for one such in any part of Tuscany.

We stayed a night at this hotel  before we caught the Blue Train the next day .

We were on the Blue Train and this place was on the itinery at the end of the trip.

It was booked for us by the Blue Train as the stop over before our journey to Cape Town.

We stayed prior to the Blue Train and were not disappointed, the food was very good and the room was beautiful.

He cooked us Lamb on the final night we were going to the Blue Train. Impressive.

We were given a tour of the hotel including the magnificent roof area and the 360 degree view of Pretoria.

A little shame that this beautiful room was overlooking a parking lot!

Our welcome was lovely, the views and sunset great from the tower, the rooms well appointed and fully quipped, not to mention beautifully designed and decorated.

The facility is exceptional, the view is breathtaking, the staff is impecable and the dining experience was fabulous.

We went onto our own balcony and the view was stunning, far reaching views which are made better because the hotel is quite elevated.

This time of year it's the Jacaranda tree that fills the beautiful view from atop the roof of Castello di Monte.

This is a most beautiful hotel, the rooms, the dining area, the patios and the views, all spectacular.

The breakfast was available at an early hour compared to area hotels, and hot drinks and an honor bar were always available.

I have not experienced cold showers for years.

Only glitch in the service was in getting us an extra heater which took 24hours and lead to a cold night.

I found the tiles in the bathroom a bit cold in the winter though!

I stayed there for 2 nights, the hosts were very warm and welcoming and the staff were also friendly,The room was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed,will definitely recommend it.The breakfast was absolutely delicious,there were so many options to choose from.It is located in a safe area and has plenty of parking and is with walking distance of a shopping complex with restaurants.

The facilities are excellent, the hosting exemplary, meals tastefully presented.

Place was neat and homely, enjoyed the fresh Breakfast and supper meals.

Just one minor adverse comment is that the lighting in the bedroom and in particular the ensuite was too dull for us.

On the first night I resorted to creating a dark tunnel for the light with plastic tablecloths and when I spoke to the guesthouse about the light they kindly disconnected it for me - kudos to them for their response!

Situated in a beautiful area close to shops and restaurants.

I like the outdoor fish pond with beautiful colourful fish.

Room Service and any request is attended to with the precision required in a timely manner.

An added comfort was hot drinks and even rusks and marshmallows available 24/7 in the lounge, and as a solo traveler, I could even order dinner at the guest house.
