The fitness room is very poor with limited equipment some of which was broken.

Complimentary cocktail of the day was a nice addition around 3pm most days ,as was the towels, which you could change, as often as you liked
Food -Can only describe as COLD & poor quality , even when you went in early, my hubby loves his fish,he dare not at it, as it was tepid at most,i decided to eat off the grill ,to get it hotter,all the meat served were tiny tiny lamb chops( looked like they came from a sparrow) flash fried steak,salmon that was rock hard couldnt even shred it !

The food situation is very very poor:
For All Inclusive there was no food available for my 3 children for 3 1/2 hours everyday- if you want your children to eat then you have to argue with someone every time.

Again the food offering was poor … most notably the chicken goujons … processed beyond recognition … possibly 5%chicken or so it seemed.

Suffice to say the food remained poor for the rest of the holiday.

Paper napkins, no table lights, poor atmosphere.

The variety of cocktails is very poor (for the level of 5star) and some of the waiters were exceptionally unprofessional.

A pretty below average experience - and I include in this that the COVID measures (including information about them) are no more than poor.

however the service was poor - the check in was at 2pm and we were only able to get in our room at 4pm and the service in the bars was disappointing as well.

We also cannot believe how cheap this is priced for a 5 star compared to other places in the world such as France or Switzerland where their accommodations are either severely poor and run down or so expensive you need to be royalty to stay there!

carpets in cirridors are really worn and old looking with stains and sun loungers are in a very poor state, most of them ripped, also it was August and the lower pool was freezing!

The food is below par, the lawns were not cut whilst we were there and it was long and full of dandelions, the carpeting requires replacement and the bar/terrace furniture is in poor condition.

Looked bored, uninterested and the quality of the drinks were poor.

- the culinarium experience was very very poor.

Apart from the drinks, we deposited the contents in the Reps room so they could see first hand the poor quality.

One poor couple ended up in the garage as they’d been directed to the wrong lift to find their room on floor 1!!

The gym for the size of the hotel is rubbish, there are 2 cross training machines, 1 bike, 1 running machine, 4 different fixed resistance machines, a poor selection of weights and 1 bench.

These cost around €5 and found it was quicker and cheaper to ask them to drop you at the Marina.

but we had lunch by the pool snack bar and I agree with other reviews - was overpriced for the quality of the food.

Areas to make it even better: 

Lunch in the snack bar by the pool is very expensive for the quality, €17 a salad or pizza I felt was too much.

Like the breakfast the evening meal was a buffet and equally disappointing and expensive for what is offered.

That was frustrating as didn’t want to pay for a drink of anything when we had paid a lot of money anyway.

Given the high price of the room in August I consider completely inadmissible such bad cleaning.

however main courses were very disappointing making the buffet offering way over priced.

We woke up late on the day of checking out and thankfully we could extend our room until 6pm for €65 which I dont think it expensive.

No valet at front entry, you can open air park free or you have to pay for garage parking.

Then he said, "this is what's going to happen. You're going to pay this bill and I don't care what your phone says."

Hence I never got to find out prices of drinks, there was no printed drinks menu.

And unless you keep tabs on what you have spent I reckon most people pay up no questions asked.

{death and destruction}  As the "entertainment" in the evening was almost non-existent, the hotel being quite isolated it was early to bed with a good book.most nights There was a shuttle service.But the mini bus only seating for 8 passengers, and you had to pay 2 euros 50 to go to the nearest town, Lagos.

This hotel is perfect in almost every way except for the location -it’s a long way from the centre of Lagos and it costs 2 euros each to go in the courtesy bus which only holds 8 people.

You pay €2 each way and can be dropped off at the Marina or the town.

Little things like having to pay for coffee machine pods after day 1 let the hotel down.

So for a family of four we had to pay 650/night which is not at all worth the space.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and very spacious.

Rooms were clean as well as all the communal areas.

Also, the room was clean and it was very comfortable.

Had a great stay at this hotel - brilliant quiet location, spotlessly clean room, lovely bar staff (especially Anna) head chef Leo cooked a great meal for my husband who is coeliac.

The rooms are very clean and you will without doubt like the modern decor.

Filipe escorted us and helped with our bags and  the room itself was clean and gorgeous.

The staff is always attentive and the commons areas as well as the rooms were impeccable clean.

SPA - I had a lovely massage and reflexology, the rooms were very calming and the lady who did it was great and I found this value for money.

First night we had a poor choice dinner in the restaurant, practically alone.

although they are working with reduced staff at the moment I thought was a little poor, I would have thought every Euro counts at the moment

but they were poor which is a shame as it leaves little choice for the evening.

also the door into the room had some bad peeling at the bottom and gave a poor impression and expectation of the room.

The pool at the hotel was extremely poor.

As a positive the food choice was so poor I managed to lose weight on holiday - a first! !

These men pushed a young toddler around in a buggy all day and paid the poor child no attention.

The mini frankfurters and streaky bacon were of really poor quality.

but you are charged for the capsules which is a bit much particularly as the machine coffee at breakfast is poor.

Service was extremely poor in nearly all aspects of the hotel.

but a few things need addressing 
- on check in only one member of staff so had to wait 20 mins to be seen and then told simply we couldn't check in for another 1.30 mins
- breakfast was very nice but again queuing 10/15 mins for fried eggs and omelette was a pain, so didn't bother some mornings
- asked for router so I could get internet as was poor in my room.

The only 'gripe' was that the soundproofing of the apartments was poor.

The Tivoli was good for Breakfast and good for the view other than that it was poor.

One small let down was the platground near the pool as it is in a poor condition, which would have been useful fro my 2 young daughters.

Hotel in a good location, good breakfast in the rooftop restaurant, only cutlery small for children and strange to eat.

even though she had to take away our used coffee cups.

Our our very slight negative was no coffeemaker in the room.

Although we get coffee at breakfast it would be great to have a kettle in the room as breakfast is not until 8am, meaning we couldn’t make a coffee in our room before heading out early for the day.

Even with ear plugs, I was kept up and woke up by partying at 2/3am)

•air conditioning sometimes blows warm and mini fridge is barely cold
•front desk only takes cash for purchases and 10 euro deposit for beach towel
•parking is limited: don’t count on finding parking between 9:30am and 7:00pm.

We missed having a hot water kettle in the room.

The only downside was the lack of a refrigerator in the room.

We also asked for and were given a kettle for the room (being from Yorkshire) Rooms are Basic

although I noticed that the maid never cleaned out cups nor took away the small empty milk pot we had to get from the restaurant.

The only negative I would have is a small one, I would have liked a fridge in the room

The sausages and bacon were right next to the beans with items from each dish falling into the adjacent item.

The hotel was not able to provide us with a refrigerator for the food we had for our toddler.

Whilst breakfast was on a much smaller scale than we usually experience, there was a selection of fruit, breads, cold meats, yogurts and a wide range of tea and coffee, the hot selection every day was scrambled egg and only one other choice, alternating between bacon, beans or small sausages.

Just make sure to bring your own mugs etc.

There is small fee for the safe and we paid 30 euros for a fridge in the room for 6 nights.

We were told no refrigerator or ice were available.

Powdered scramble egg everyday that was cold along with either some sort of bacon,sausage or bacon beans again cold.

We found the hotel and our room clean and well maintained.

Our rooms were very clean and simple with a nice balcony.

The first 5 days were fine- the breakfast was good and the room was clean.

Excellent location adjacent to one of the best beaches in Lagos, friendly staff, clean rooms, just steps from the hotel is the entrance to the walk along the cliffs to ponta da Piedade which is amazing (30 minute walk on a wood walkway, very nice with a few restaurants at the end if u like that sort of thing.

The service is great, rooms were clean, and the location is ideal.

The staff is very accommodating from the front desk to those who work the breakfast shift in the restaurant to those who thoroughly clean your room.

To start with our room had an awful sewage smell.

The room looks like a depressing mental asylum hospital, with bare walls, no decoration, and a pungent sterile scent.

Don't go to this hotel if you can't tolerate the smell of old smoke in your room all the time!

The rooms were musty smelling, and felt damp all the time.

Poor ventilation so when entering the room it was quite “musky” and we had to open patio door.

There was a permanent strong musty smell, which made breathing normally impossible.

First of all the rooms does not look like the pictures and smell like smoke.

The only negative was the moldy smell coming from the drains in the bathroom.

Rooms are not very well ventilated and when the air con is turned on there is mouldy smell coming out from it.

Our bathroom didn‘t smell bad or anything.

It smelled and tasted as if was prepared days earlier, on its way to spoilage.

The showers were nasty and the bathrooms are outdated.

but had a bit of stale smell in it which was ok with the AC on in the room or the doors open to outside.

however it suffered from the same drainage issues as the basin.

We lived in the cellar which smelled like mould and half of the gym equipment did not work.

Clostraphobic, dirty and OMG the smell !!!!

When we arrived in our room, our feet were filthy.

on the balcony there was a cigarette at the floor and in the whole hotel there was a funny smell..

the only good thing about this hotel was the staff of the restaurant and the location at a really nice looking beach!

Breakfast was good despite having to queue to select items as only one person at a time could access the rather poorly arranged food tables.

Breakfast area too small & far too understaffed expect queues & delays.

As a result there is a bit of a scrum to shuffle past seated guests and those queuing for the buffet food.

Pre book in high season, or be prepared to queue!

Just returned from 2 weeks staying here, some reviews complain of waiting for breakfast, I visited at different times between 7.30 and 9.am and never waited seemed the last minute people at 9.45 had a problem, easy go earlier.

Due to the lack of space, access to the food was often difficult, with the hot items being put behind each other, causing queues.

The dining room is tiny and we had to queue 2 out of our first 3 days.

Breakfast was also good the only down side is the room is small and could be busy so you sometimes have to wait on a table

but due to the excellent lady running it, there was never anyone waiting for a table.

On two mornings people were actually waiting for tables and the one lady was trying to refresh food items and clear tables at the same time.

but rather as a positive criticism, is that sometimes people had to wait for tables as the breakfast room is quite small but I am sure there are ways around this minor detail.

The only small downside is there can be a queue for breakfast. .

The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with a great balcony overlooking the marina and walkway.

The rooms are very clean, cozy, and attractively decorated.

We were extremely impressed with the hotel for many reasons:

	First, the staff are phenomenal, they are very accommodating, pleasant and worked hard to provide us with a very pleasant stay
	The newly renovated hotel property and rooms were very clean and welcoming and perfect for our stay.

The road noise wasnt too much of a problem.

I would recommend a room facing the marina as high up as possible -- we were unable to sit on our balcony at night (on the 1st floor) due to the loud road noise and stagnant smell of the water.

The not so good:
I'm a light sleeper so checked with the hotel prior to stay that I would be allocated a higher sea view room and was assured that road noise was minimal due to the double glazing.

We had the door open at night, and the noise from the street wasn't bad.

but the road noise is evident until 1 o'clock in the morning and starts again at 6!

The road is very noisy both day and night and the air on the balcony is polluted by traffic fumes.

although it is a bit noisy from the road in front, the views outweigh the noise.

but street noises filter through, welcoming staff but crowded breakfast room ill adapted to the crowd.

Even with the harbor facing rooms are next to a very busy and loud street.

Unfortunately, the harbour view rooms are located on a very busy and noisy road, with a constant flow of traffic rendering the balcony a place to dry towels rather than to sit out and enjoy the view.

One morning I woke at around 5am to the sound of a street cleaning machine which went on for ages.

The other negative point is the hotel is on a very busy road and the noise from traffic is constantly loud throughout the night.

but should have read them all as I did not spot one mentioning the road noise from scooters which cancelled out the view of the marina.

but this is the first time we stayed in the Mirachoro which, based on our recent visit, was a poor decision by us.

The poor workers looked scared half the time as she was always on them.

Weather was poor and some evenings we just didn’t want to walk out to find somewhere to eat.

Evening Meal was at best, average, a Buffet of Starter, mostly salads and soup, Main course quite poor with very bony fish, poultry, or red meat dish each night,

4) No sufficient toilteries in the bath
5) Very poor wifi connection, need to connect everytime you want to browse and log in is a long process.

Very bad wifi and overall room & hotel services were very poor.

The hot selection at breakfast was poor, the exact same 5 things everyday which you got sick of after 4 days.

A further source of frustration was that the wi-fi service was intermittent and relatively poor overall.

Evening buffet very poor no wonder hardly anyone used it.
