Does what you need a hotel in Prague to do for a business trip - right next to Metro station; reasonably short walk to centre and better standard internally than the other 4 or 5 hotels I've stayed in in similar area at similar price point.

Opposite the hotel is a tram stop and more importantly Florenc Metro station (yellow line) which is the handiest line for most touristy places.

The hotel is very near to Florec bus and metro stations.

but right across the road from Florenc metro station which leaves easy access to all of Prague, overall a great all round hotel at a reasonable price, would definitely go back ! !

The hotel is situated directly opposite Florenc metro station, an interchange for all 3 underground lines, and has a tram stop which services several routes to city centre and beyond.

Tickets for all city transport (busses, metro and trams) can be purchased in the Metro station and last for either 30 minutes, 24 hours or 75 hours.

It was in such a great location, within a 10 minute walk to the main area and right outside the metro station which was great for getting to the airport.

The location is just outside of Old Town, on several tram routes, and across the street from Florenc metro station.

This hotel is situated in the centre of Prague very close to Metro Station Florenc.

Well located with bus and tram stops opposite and a 20 minute walk to the Old Town, reception have a direct link to a local taxi firm which we used and who arrived within 10 minutes.

Beautiful hotel in the botanic theme, clean, cozy and  located in a strategic position: one line of metro  and few  trams just in front of the entrance.

We got very good advice in the reception on how to travel by metro and tram to different areas in the city.

After a shaving cut resulted in a blood soiled towel, that towel was folded and replaced on the towel rack three days running even after it was left on the floor for swap-out per the room card's instruction.

We were still charged other amounts for the same rooms.

With one night stay you can do nothing with it as if A/C starts to work not earlier than you inserted power card on your return to the room, one expects to have a room cooler in another couple of hours and it’s absolutely pointless to ask reception to deal with the problem at 2 or 3 am , especially when you are planning to get up around 6 .

Totally non-smoking, scent-free linens, wooden key cards and plant motif.

After checking out there is no charge for leaving any luggage prior to departure for airport etc.

Also I arrange for a hotel pick up, with an English speaker driver, the price was supposed to be charged to the room, I ended up with a person who could not speak English, who asked me to pay in CZK, which refused.

That said there is electric charging as well so again another benefit from the hotel.

When we checked out we were then charged for breakfast for 2 days and I was told I had breakfast when I hadn’t!

Our room had 3 USB A charging points and I think a further 2/3 USB C charging points.

The room card key is made out of wood and I like that.

The excuse from the reception desk and the manager was that there were concerts in Prague duirng these days and they gave us a voucher for two free drinks that they wanted to charge us after we left.

One thing when we arrived when checking in we were informed our card details were only to check in, and no money would be deducted until our day of departure.

There are no single use plastic in the rooms, even the key card was not plastic and there are recycling bins along every corridor.

Their layout and functionality is great with small things such as having USB-C plugs to charge iPads and latest generation iPhones on the side of each bed is great addition + the suitcase storage well thought out.

The tub is taller then most US hotel tubs so it may be hard to step in and out of and may not be easy for people who have balance or other issues.

The annoying things:  

Key cards having to be reprogrammed every day!

How could be a breakfast charges  when  u need to buy  a voucher  at the reception before having  breakfast at the restaurant.

Additionally I feel being treated like a gangster due to extra reservations on my credit card.

Be advised that if you need to park a car there is a $25.00 charge.

My only critical comment is regarding the Bistro, or actually the young woman who appeared to be in charge.

I was guest of botanique in august 2023 with my family for vacation, excellent experience, near the old city center, good service and staff, perfect room very cleanliness, fully conditioned, excellent breakfast sweet and salad, parking available, right price, very raccomanded.

Beds comfortable, overall a nice sized and clean room.

All in all, everything was perfect, except for two deficiency points: 1- there were no slippers in the room, and 2- the room was not 0 sound proof, specially through the wall, on which our neighbour's TV set was mounted and installed.

but then you arrive and the wall is full of fake plants.

I spent a week in this hotel and I really appreciated its concept: proposing sustainable solutions at all levels: from the LED light to the light colors of the walls and furniture, from the room keys in eco-sustainable wood material to the «do not disturb» plate » in plywood, up to soap, shampoo, body lotion, made available to the customer with refillable dispensers.

Mold in the coffee maker, water damage on ceiling, ripped carpet, broken tiles in bathroom, stained walls, stained bedding, tv didnt work, AND GOT CHARGED TWICE.

Recommend to arrive early to be able to choose a room, we arrived late and there was only one room left  with a view to a wall.

Negative: cleaningless was not the best: stains in bedhseets and walls.

Cracked walls and greying paint that should have been white.

although the walls to the adjoining rooms must be thin as we could hear everything being said - not a major problem though.

but getting out of the shower (with water on the floor because there is only a partial glass wall that goes about 1/3 of the length of the tub) was tricky and I thought I was going to bust my butt a couple times.

Picturesque wall out the window does wonders for the view!

We asked them to take a look - when we came back there was no report on any issues found, just another card in the wall keeping the air con on 24/7! - we slept with the windows open the whole of our stay, and being toward an inner courtyard (no "room with a view" for Jet2 customers!)

In fact its presence made it worse as the only view out of the window from the bed was the concrete wall of the balcony and not a view of the city which we would have had if the balcony had not been there.

They locked down the soap and shampoo on the wall at the shower end - ok if you're a showerer.

It was quite a large step up and over the tub wall though!

However, it is mounted to the wall and, being the only thing on the wall, it's placement seems odd.

but carpet started one room beyond us so not too bad.

Also the carpet in the bedroom is very old and looks quiet used.

Quite dirty carpets in the rooms and no slippers can be the only negatives about this hotel.

Carpet was not vacuumed as evidenced by the crumbs that remained all week.

The carpet is also quite dirty in places.

but a little dated and the carpet was really dirty!

but the carpets were disgusting to the point where you wiped your feet upon leaving the room and constantly wore slippers whilst in it.

The carpets have not been washed for ages.

The carpet was dirty, bed covers had cigarette burns and in the hallway I could smell cigarette smoke.

The carpet is BADLY stained, the small TV set, flimsy and dated cabinet was not expected in 4 star hotel.

Rooms were spacious and on first inspection very clean.However I don't think carpet was hoovered as I found toe nail cuttings on the floor (disgusting).

The carpet could do with a deep clean or new carpet put in as it was very dirty.

No room views , the room carpet was full of stains and smells like drainage.

Oh, and did I mention the installed hairdryer didn't work and the carpets outside the rooms in the hallways were dirty when we arrived and had not been vacuumed in the 2 nights we were there.

The carpet is stained and there are cobwebs in the room.

Some minor items: the bathroom had no lock and the drainage in the bathtub/shower needed fixing, carpet looked dirty -

Excellent location, 5’ from Wenceslas square and 15’ from the Old Town square on foot.

All in all next time I will stay out of old town.

went with my granddaughter for a few days .could not fault this hotel.the staff were friendly and polite asked what kind of room we wanted.the room was spotless  big and warm .and hot .complementary chocolate  tea coffee.. mini bar the restaurant had continental and hot breakfast all the staff friendly even at 6.30.am.hotel in walking distance of old town 15 min .wensles square  10 min.theres a few pubs and restaurants near the hotel .would recommended this hotel.will definitely  be returning.

We enjoyed our short stay in the hotel, the location is very near to some attractions like the Old Town.

The Hotel Majestic is 5 minutes walk from wenceslas square (which isn't a square lol) 15-20 minutes walk to the old town and anatomical clock.

Breakfast had good variety and selection, location was brilliant as only 5 minute walk from Wenceslas Square, 10 minute walk to old town, 20 minute walk to Charles Bridge.

In the future, I plan to return to Prague and stay at Park Inn Hotel.

We had a great stay at the park inn, staff were really attentive.

We just got back from our 7-day trip to Prague and we had the best hotel experience staying at Park Inn Hotel.

We stayed recently in the Berlin park hotel and whilst the accommodation is similar - comfortable beds, good showers etc, the staff here made the stay much more enjoyable.

Stayed at the Park Inn Hotel , really good position near local transport.

What a pleasant surprise, Probably the best Park inn we have stayed in.

I highly recommend the Park Inn Hotel to anyone visiting Prague.

My first choice while considering the hospitality is always Park Inn.

We choose to stay again in Park inn hotel,buffet breakfast is great with large selection  and attentive staff.Our room was smaler,but for amount of time we spent there was fine.Location is great,away from tourist crowd,but close enough to walk to Charles bridge.Public transportation is nearby,if you are 70 years old and have proof of age public transportation in Prague is free

We stayed with our tour group at Park Inn and couldn't have been more pleased.

The Vysehrad fortress nearby has an outstanding park that you should visit.

You know what you will get with a Park Inn and this is exactly that.

We will definitely return to this magnificent city and will definitely stay at the Park Inn again.

What a surprise it was considering we don't have any special status with Park Inn!
