Morning coffee and evening whine served, unbelievable breakfast.

The breakfasts were more than adequate with lots of variety.

Rooms were very comfortable and spacious and breakfast was excellent.

Similarly, the breakfast buffet was fairly mediocre and cannot compare to the best breakfasts you can get in Europe.

The staff is there to truly make your stay special from making dinner reservations, suggestions as to area activities, and even having the city’s most delicious caramel cake delivered on 2 occasions “just because” they knew it was my daughter’s favorite.

A lovely breakfast is provided every morning with more choices than you could ask for including home baked pastries.

As you might expect after all that, the breakfast is superb.

The rooms are nicely appointed, breakfast buffet is plentiful and the whole experience will make you want to return again and again.

The room was comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was very good and offered a lot of variety.

The fourth floor may be tricky for some people as you take the elevator to the third floor and walk up one spiral staircase.

The lift only goes up 3 floors, so the last leg is by stairs to the 4th floor.

(The only thing to note is there is only a lift to the third floor so if you have issues with stairs avoid the 4th floor).

Some of the bedrooms are on the ground floor while others are accessed by a staircase or a small lift on two further floors.

Our room was on the 4th floor and the elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor, so you have to walk up a further flight of stairs.

Three of these double rooms are under the eaves on the 4th floor – the lift only goes to 3.

The room was wonderful (be careful to check if you cannot climb stairs as I was on the 3rd floor and lift only went to 2nd floor).

Our room was on 4th floor and was accessible by elevator to the 3rd floor and then a short flight of stairs to the 4th floor.

We had asked for a quiet room and were on the last floor - those rooms are probably the smallest (they also have sloping walls as it's the attic, and the elevator comes only to 3rd floor).

From the owner Frank, to the receptionists and drivers - each and every one are amazing hosts who make you feel most welcome as soon as you step through the door.

Every one of them exemplifies hospitality beyond measure, going out of their way to make guests feel welcome, wanted, and warmly cared for.

The greetings as we returned in the afternoons and the offers of beer, wine and/or water made us feel as if we were staying with friends.

The service there was outstanding and makes you feel at home.

The staff, led by the owner Frank, make you feel relaxed and at home as soon as you arrive and complementary drinks and nibbles, which are available 24/7, was offered while sitting filling in the paperwork.

They couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel like royalty.

Having stayed in some lovely establishments, this small family feel was exactly what we wanted..

He made us feel very welcome, talked us through the map of the city and recommended places to visit and places to go for food.

They will arrange trips for you, a hotel car will drop you off during your visit if needed and,  without exception, they all deserve a mention as I feel this makes the hotels stand out not only in Prague,

the service is so nice and personal, that you just feel like you at home.

Our room was comfortable and clean and we appreciated the old European feel it had.

The staff could not be more helpful,  and friendly and it really did feel like you were being welcomes into someones home.

Cannot praise Frank and his team highly enough for their level of service and customer care, with a special mention to Paula who made us feel so very welcome.

We have never been made feel so welcome and will definitely recommend as well as hopefully be back for a return visit ourselves. x

Hotel Residence Agnes has the perfect boutique hotel feel, along with the warmest and most helpful staff.

They make you feel as if you were a king.

The entire staff made me, and everyone I saw there, feel valued as a customer and genuinely cared for.

The location is great - 5 minute walk to the old town square and not much more to the bridge and Jewish quarter.

We highly recommend this gem in the old town of Prague and we will surely visit again while visiting Prague in the future.

This hotel is well situated in a quiet part of the Old Town, with very comfortable rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay here - hotel is in the Old Town so easily walkable with most of the main sights within 10-15 minutes.

The hotel was in the middle of Old Town only a 10 minute walk to all of the sights.

Set in the old town, it is perfect for sightseeing.

The owner of Residence Agnes, and a half-dozen of his charming, young associate-ambassadors, conspired to treat my wife and me as honored, celebrity VIP-guests during our 6-day stay at this enchanting, modernized, old town hide-away last week.

On arrival, we were greeted with drinks & chocolates and lots of tips for places & restaurants to visit, where to withdraw cash and how to travel around.

Central to all major points of interest, with lots of restaurants nearby.

Check in was a coffee and a sit down chat about my stay, including recommendations for restaurants that were then booked for me, and advice on which atm to use to avoid extra fees.

It is also quite close to several excellent restaurants, two of which are within a 3 minute walk of the premises.

The location is perfect and walkable to wonderful restaurants, shops and Old Town sites.

Upon our arrival Alina and Victoria both met with me to help sugggest places to visit and restaurants in the area.

Yes the property is lovely and perfectly situated near restaurants and bars and all the top sites of the city,

At the suggestion of Alena at the front desk, we also visited the National Gallery Prague at the Trade Fair Palace, which has some truly outstanding exhibits, a very good cafe next door, and an enormous park nearby.

Location is perfect just  about 10 minutes from the centre and old town square, plenty of lovely restaurants, cafes, coffee bars in close proximity with a super gingerbread bakery right next door!

Easy check in and offering help for anything I needed, like restaurant and tour recommendations and booking the reservations (which I utilized and all were very good).

Another bonus was the offer of beer or wine upon arrival and then everytime we returned to the hotel.

The people were all so nice and helpful, and genuinely seemed to want your vacation to be perfect, with personalized  recommendations for dinners and sightseeing.

They helped us to plan our time in Prague, finding out what we were interested in and booking trips and restaurants for us.

Each and every time we came back to the hotel we were treated to drinks - coffee, wine, beer, you name it.

An offer of wine, beer, coffee every time you come in is great.

Alena booked a classical music concert and a dinner boat cruise on the Vltava River for us.

Every time we returned from our walks during the day and evenings - we were greeted and offered beer, wine, water, etc.

Our days were planned for us with their suggestions for visits and restaurants.

The pleasant atmosphere, large clean rooms, attentiveness of the staff and service all exceed anywhere I have stayed.

We stayed in a standard room on the ground floor, which was clean and quiet.

is that there is a very cute little gingerbread shop right next door and we came back on the second day of our stay to find a gingerbread gift left in our room, from the hotel.

We have traveled a good bit, and have never had this level of service.

The hospitality/ customer service was the best I’ve seen in ANY business.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels with great service - I would put this one at the top of the list!

The room we had was just fine with a very small bathroom and shower

The only minor negative was our shower was a little small (other rooms could have a larger one).

The only (minor) drawbacks to the room were a tiny bathroom and sink, especially for two people, and occasional noise heard through the walls/ceiling.

The rooms were tiny and in one i couldn't stand up in a large part of the room (i am over 6 foot tall), they were all that was left!

It is a small 20 room hotel, run somewhat like a large B&B.

They insisted on packing us some snacks the day we left!

The seating in the lobby is  extra welcoming when you are offered a beverage or snacks or tips for your next adventures.

In the hotel, they are there to meet your every need, a snack, a drink, sandwiches to go for a day trip, truly everything.

We stayed at the Agnes for 4 might nights and I was amazed at the level of service provided by the staff of the hotel

They made us comfortable any time of day offering drinks and snacks when ever we came back to hotel

Breakfast buffet was excellent.

There is always a drink or snack waiting for you no matter the time of day!

Every time before we walked out for sightseeing, they offered us small bottles of mineral water and when we returned to the hotel, they seated us in the gorgeous reception area with free wine, beer and snacks.

There were unlimited drinks (including excellent wine)  and snacks throughout the day.

Recommended great local spots, helped us in getting registered for COVID testing to get back into the US, and were always treating us to beverages and snacks.

The staff took personal care of our parking, arranged a great personal city tour guide, made our dinner reservations including a surreal dinner on a boat overlooking the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, and every time we entered the hotel they seated us in the gorgeous reception area with free glasses of wine and beer and snacks.

I was offered a hot cup of tea when returning home on a rainy night and wine and snacks in the evenings.

in the reception area and the mini-bar in the room is also free for snacks and soft drinks.

Having free drinks and snacks at any time of day was fantastic, such a perk.

Great that you can help yourself to water and they offer wine and snacks on arrival.

They're offered snacks and drinks as well. .

They give free lifts to local attractions or restaurants, they gave my wife roses, wine and chocolates for her birthday, and there is free wine, beer, snacks, water every time you return to the hotel.

We were offered complimentary wine & beer & snacks, as we were every time we walked into reception.

We were welcomed warmly, treated to a welcome drink and snacks, and then the staff sat with us reviewing some of our touring plans and offering (never pushing) to assist.

Drinks and snacks are complimentary and they even bring it to your room.

Our most enjoyable stay at the Hotel Residence Agnes was mostly due to the highest level hospitality of the warm and lovely staff in all aspects from entertainment with drinks such as beer, wine, cofee, water bottles and snacks and chocolates on the house to giving free rides from and to the hotel.

We were driven to our attractions in the morning and returned to friendly faces, glasses of wine and snacks each afternoon.

Everything seemed effortless about the whole experience.

We got back last night and just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff that made our stay very special.

Staff was very friendly and attentive- they had a free car service which was a real plus- met me at train and dropped us off at monastery an d took us to train station at end of trip.

I can honestly say that I have never stayed anywhere with such fantastic staff.

But, as everyone mentions, it's the friendly, genuine, welcoming staff that make this such a wonderful place to stay.

We were met with a drink and personable Elena, with maps and suggestions of what we might see and do as our time and schedule allowed.

The owner of the hotel picked us up personally at the airport because two people were coming in at the same time and they didn’t know how many bags we brought.

Our room on the top floor was reached by a lift that took you so far then you had to go up a flight of stairs which was fine for us

Room: Our room was toward the rear of the third floor, easily accessible by elevator or stairs.

but simply asked if only deluxe as some I saw were larger on this site and also as I had broken both ankles by falling down steps so I’m still quite anxious with stairs, without hesitation we were moved to a room on 3rd floor.

One time I had walked up to my room with the wrong key card, after entering the wrong key card twice, the lobby manager rushed up to assist me (he spotted me and quickly came up the stairs to help).

But if you cannot climb stairs comfortably, ask for lower floor rooms.

The only negative thing I could possibly say is that the stairs to the fourth floor were right outside our door so we could hear people clomping up and down the wooden stairs.

We appreciated the elevator as stairs are not our thing.

As I am writing this review I can hear the foot steps of people climbing the stairs and walking outside of my room and closing their doors.

The hotel is charmingly decorated and full of character, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was stunning - elegant and beautifully decorated.

A unique hotel with exceptional service and classic, old world design.

This old world style hotel was furnished with exceptional furnishings throughout and modern conveniences.

The Alchymist is a beautifully decorated historic property on a quiet cobblestone side street, a very short walk to the historic center of town via the Charles Bridge, the river sights and restaurants, shopping, and/or just about everywhere else via conveniently located public transportation.

This charming historic mansion with the original name "U Turkovy hlavy" is a beautiful and luxurious castle-style house, the reconstruction of which perfectly combined the historical and modern style of accommodation in Prague.

The room was wonderfully decorated and comfortable.

The whole hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated in traditional style and the finishing touches continued into the rooms with water every day and chocolates on the pillow.
