This time around - when we went to bed we switched our air-con off, just to keep hearing the most annoying noise.

Although it was a very cold night, I not once was cold and I didn't even use the room heater.

but latest 15h00,Once in room switch aircon on it made a hell of a noise,Switch it off and open the windows,The mosquito took the room over.The next morning i reported the aircon ,did not show any interested,

The TV's are poor and the air-conditioner is very loud.

The channels on the TV did not work and after reading other reviews we did not even try the aircon.

TV set bluring most of the chanels and aircon unit not working properly.

However 2 minus points stand out- the air conditioner was just too loud for peaceful sleep and the dinner was absolutely unappealing so it was a blessing that one could hop across to the Mall for dinner.

I'm not normally disturbed by a/c or ventilation,

There is a part in the bathroom that has been dirty with watermarks and soap scum since my arrival,  not cleaned.

EVERY single time the bathroom is a mess with either a leaking toilet or leaking shower that all our towels must be used to dry the floor.

The bathroom was maybe in need of a little revamping ( old style shower

Having taking a shower i do agree that they can upgrade the bathrooms in the near future

The rooms are very old, to have a shower you either need to be a contortionist or have skin that is as strong as steel.

The bathroom is very old and it was quite a challenge to take a shower.

Clean and functional, the deco and the room fittings could do with some modernization and updating.

I was quite surprised by this Hotel,founded in 2010 and already has 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, staff were very welcoming and friendly,rooms were clean and comfortable.

but simple, clean and nothing to complain about.

Our twin room was very clean and simply furnished .

This is cheap and decent, The rooms are clean and nice, The grounds are beautiful and the staff very nice.

The room was spacious, bedding and towls clean

The tea water heater was very sticky to touch and looked rusted inside.

Arriving in our room and this was the firs impression, clean and comfortable and all that you will need in a Hotel for a comfortable stay.

but still had problems serving a cold beer.

The lady that booked us in (21/4/2019 at 19:00) was friendly and helpful.

With secure parking and a friendly reception staff the hotel is welcoming.

Fact is, hotel staff can sometimes be too friendly - in a PR hotel-ish kind of way.

After a long trip, arrived to a warm welcome by the friendly reception staff.

The staff are very friendly and will try to meet your every need .Yes the rooms could do with a bit of updating and the hotel maintenance could be a bit better.The bedroom was comfortable and serviced daily, plenty of hot water .

Beautiful setting,  friendly and helpful staff - food was homely.

I stayed here on a trip to Potchefstroom for a wedding, its a very modern hotel with friendly staff, reception seems a bit aloof at times, manager on duty is very helpfull!

Having said this I must commend the staff for their friendly demeanor, willingness to assist and ability to turn what could have been a dreary two days into an enjoyable experience.

Beautiful spacious rooms, lovely dinning, bar and socialising areas, friendly helpful staff, wifi, transport as required, fantastic shopping mall across the road, lots of fun and laughter!

Walking into the Hotel we were greeted friendly by the reception staff and were checked in very fast and with no hassle.

During our 15 day stay, we found all the staff extremely friendly and eager to please.

We had to leave at 7:00so at 6:45 I asked the receptionist if we could just have milk for coffee and also to eat cereal we didn’t want anybody to serve us, and had no interest in prepared meals.He didn’t do anything to help, I asked a lady outside the kitchen, while we were sitting at the table I could hear her ask somebody inside the kitchen, who then shouted at her repeatedly “those people are early”, everytime she tried to explain to him we only want milk.

but to my surprise it was in working condition and did have a little sound to it but not so that i can not sleep.

The rooms are nice and there's some good areas to lounge around, there's also a bar, the food was nice

This is a university town and is fun and active with small restaurants and shops nearby

The food was mostly good all buffet style , I found it a bit odd at breakfast to find raw cherry tomatoes in with the cooked mushrooms .

Nice bar and restaurant and the breakfast were very good.

"Mike s Kitchen " is next door and the Mooi River shopping Mall is across the road where there are several restaurants and cafes .

We checked in after 10pm,  dinner was prepared and ready for us.

Breakfast was of a good variety with both hot meals to choose from as well as fresh fruits & cereals etc.

Situated alongside a great restaurant (Mike's Kitchen), and right across the road from a great mall (Mooirivier Mall).

There was always plenty of food on offer and there was a great selection catering for all desires.

After dinner wee had a few drinks at the Pitch and Putter bar and really enjoyed it.

The restaurant will suffer really badly as a chain steak house has opened just next door.

We also enjoyed using the in house bar and seating area for pre dinner drinks.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone all that you will experience is great staff good food and restful nights.

They charged me for dinner which i did not have  - Rather opted to take walk to Mall to enjoy dinner.

The location near the Mooiriver Mall and the restaurants there allows a good freedom of choice.

The hairdrier in the room keeps on over-heating and cutting out.

Has everything you need and the staff are polite.

A hasty phone call to the Willows confirmed that had a twin room available and we were  warmly welcomed by the receptionist at check in .

I had stayed at this hotel previously & found it to be absolutely first class, the reception staff were both helpful & obliging, The room was great & had a view over the Golf Course & you can enjoy a fantastic sunrise as well.

Eventually went to Willows Garden Hotel and was greeted well and checked in quickly and efficiently by very friendly reception staff.

Attentive staff were unwilling to stop the piped music at breakfast,

I was a member of the Australian Powerlifting Team and this was our team hotel.

We were 100% looked after by Trudi, David, Nathan and all the staff of the Willows Garden Hotel.

The chefs are very nice and helpful, I complimented the chef on the breakfast and he replied with "well, we do have the best breakfast in town" and i most certainly agree!

not sure how this property can advertise a 4 star rating!!!

There are not many hotel offerings in Potchefstroom, so when booking and expecting four star accommodation I expected a little more comfort.

Not sure how this hotel received 4 star rating - Room substandard , no coffee/tea the 2nd day of stay in room.

I needed a bed and bathroom for an overnight stay, and the room served my needs perfectly.

but nice to go to the neat clean hotel, bedding was also warm and clean, room was just big enough for our family, good value for money and well priced for a busy festivle weekend, look forward to next year

Reception friendly, 2 adults and two children, we had a interlinking room which made it more spacious Rooms were clean, including linen and bathroom.

I had first book 1 room then phoned a couple of days later to change it to 2 twin rooms to have enough place for everyone which you guys did without any problems.

There is a small desk with a chair and a comfy chair as well as the bed.

We needed extra pillows and they brought them to our room within 3 minutes.

All I ask in a hotel is a clean and quiet room, friendly and caring staff, Wi-Fi that works, sufficient room to swing the proverbial cat and an adequate breakfast to start the day.

While it is distinctly basic, it is beautifully clean, has all necessary amenities including decent speed wifi (although ice machine is broken) and very friendly and attentive staff.

Clean simply furnished rooms well priced and convenient for a one night stay.

The place is neat and clean,but if a good night's rest is what you want-then this is NOT the place!

The lodge is basically next to the Mooi River shopping mall, which has a number restaurants and and the Keg and Willow pub.

The lodge is well positioned along N12 and just within the shopping Mall in the town.

however, the Road Lodge is well placed next the mall and opposite the golf course.

This one is situated on a shopping mall complex.

This Lodge is also conveniently situated adjacent to the modern Mooiriver Mall that is within short walking distance.

The best thing about this hotel is its location right next door to the Mooirivier Mall and 3km away from NWU Potchefstroom campus.

Rooms neat and this Road Lodge is adjacent to the Mooirivier Mall, with walking distance to movies, Restaurants and shopping.

Could have had it in the nearby restaurant

but do have a voucher which you can use for surrounding restaurants.

While we did not have the R80 breakfast the buffet seemed nice for a light meal.

There is no pool and the hotel is situated right next to a shopping centre (Mooi River) so you are in walking distance of restaurants and movies.

There are certainly enough restuarants and food outlets in this area to satisfy various palates.

Being able to wander out to the mall for shopping provisions and meals was good

The meal we ordered was delivered within 30 minutes.

You know what you are going to get with a road lodge, cheap, small rooms.

but the patience displayed was appreciated.

The friendky staff gave excellent advise.

Greeted by two people in reception and checked in without any hassle.

The lady who welcomed us first at the reception was very professional.

Whenever we travel somewhere we always see if there is one of the City Lodge group Hotels on our route for a sleep over, as they maintain a very good standard throughout the country.

Had to call in the morning only then was it brought to our room after several calls, with no apology whatsoever.

though the staff tried to make this happen, fully booked they remained, so after a friendly call up to us to inform us that we could catch breakfast - which again was out of this world, with my partner having 2 dishes!

Special mention to Mase at reception and Feliciity in the restaurant.

Food was fantastic and the spa is just amazing.

I celebrated my birthday at Featherhill boutique hotel, with breakfast, a massage and a light lunches thereafter.

The food is great (all gourmet meals), the staff is friendly and professional, and to top it the service is second to none.

The food is delicious well presented and tasted.

Don’t bother staying anywhere else, this place has it all, fantastic accommodation, delicious food and meticulous service.

but did make use of the Spa's Hyrdo facilities.

( ie sauna and steam etc) was met with a “most certainly “ getting the manager to make sure it was set aside for our use and everything was switched on and operational.

professional service, I highly recommend this beautiful hotel has everything to offer from the spa swimming pool bar restaurant and nothing seems too much for the staff to try and help make your stay memorable.

The room was very clean, nice white crisp linen and all the amenities necessary.

Excellent experience to stay, beautiful rooms, spacious,clean, bedding excellent, beautiful bathrooms, safe parking.

The double bed was luxurious and I had a really good sleep.

but it had air conditioning and nice cotton cool bedding.

I have been to a number of bed and breakfast venues over a number of years.

The accommodation was superb, with crisp clean linen and the room a good size and comfortable.

The beds were very nice and comfortable, the area is very peaceful and calming.

Unit 3 has the best bathroom, shower and very comfortable double bed

However, the king bed was excellent quality and the carpets thick and clean.

The room was very clean and we had a good night rest on comfortable bed.

The place is good value for the money with comfort, clean, beautiful, good breakfast, staff very well coming, the rooms equipped with basic needs, the bathroom is the cleanest with show that works so good

The breakfasts offered a variety of foods which were delicious.
