The room was very clean, nice white crisp linen and all the amenities necessary.

Excellent experience to stay, beautiful rooms, spacious,clean, bedding excellent, beautiful bathrooms, safe parking.

The double bed was luxurious and I had a really good sleep.

but it had air conditioning and nice cotton cool bedding.

I have been to a number of bed and breakfast venues over a number of years.

The accommodation was superb, with crisp clean linen and the room a good size and comfortable.

The beds were very nice and comfortable, the area is very peaceful and calming.

Unit 3 has the best bathroom, shower and very comfortable double bed

However, the king bed was excellent quality and the carpets thick and clean.

The room was very clean and we had a good night rest on comfortable bed.

The place is good value for the money with comfort, clean, beautiful, good breakfast, staff very well coming, the rooms equipped with basic needs, the bathroom is the cleanest with show that works so good

The limited TV channels in general in guesthouses in SA as well as the instand coffee or poor quality coffee machines should seriously be reconsidered.

Neither of them had warm water the evening, nor the following day.

Unfortunately I didn't have wifi reception in my room (only about 10m outside the room) and the shower didn't have cold water, which detracted from an otherwise comfortable stay.

however there was no hot water so it meant having a cold shower and shaving in the morning.

The shower mixer in our room was boiling hot in both the hot and cold positions and it took a while to figure out where the correct setting was.

We had to arrive at odd times,and at either very late or early times were accommodated with a smile and a packed breakfast at 4.30am!!!

Asked for an earlier check-in and was accommodated without any problems.

I do not think they should charge per room, if they are going to set a limit on the number of guests a room can accommodate and charge extra from there onwards.

The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfortable and not to mention the home like feeling you get.

We felt especially welcome when late on our return our warm blankets was switched on.

Being there is like having the luxury of being in a  Bed and breakfast and an undiscovered museum.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with thick, fluffy blankets, massive beds and helpful extras like umbrellas, irons,mosquito spray and all the comforts of home.

From being wined and dinned to retreating to our room, equipped with king sized bed fit for a royal nights sleep.

We requested a bath & kingsize bed & easy access to the room which we were promised.

I have stayed here twice with a total of four nights and each and every day I was treated as a queen.

The linen used in the rooms are top-notch and the King size beds are extremely comfortable.The rooms open up onto a lovely courtyard with a pool.

A breakfast fit for a king was served with all bells and whistles and attention to detail was exceptional.

There is a huge and beautiful garden and an outdoor area where you can sit and relax or work if you need to.

The house is surrounded by a big, landscaped garden with a splashpool.

The garden leading to the river is awesome and the sunrise is priceless.

Everything you can want is there - from a hairdryer, little medical aid box, gown and slippers, extra bedding, tea coffee and hot chocolate to books to read, a beautiful garden to sit in and a delightful little lounge with fireplace!

This is ridiculous as this guesthouse is already more than double the price of other guesthouses in Potch.

1) There was not a card machine, therefore all guests have to pay cash - This is relatively simple to get and I think the owners should do this as a priority.

This establishment is truly special and earns its 5 stars easily, the attention to detail in every aspect is amazing, the rooms are spacious and well thought out with all the little extra touches in place.

And I think I'll continue to book it in future 😁.

Not knowing much about Potchefstroom as had only been there once before I wasn't certain where to book accommodation as we wanted something close to all amenities.

though after an enquiry we had understood that the bathroom would be ensuite, which it wasn't.

Although it has basic self-catering amenities - we decided to eat out because it wasn't comfortable.

The shower also was a disaster, the water pressure was way too strong and we couldn't close the taps, water just kept streaming out, soaking the bathroom and us.

There was enough space and the beds was comfortable.

It was quiet, and the sound of the fountain was heavenly.
