Breakfast was served in their cafe terrace, it was absolutely delicious.

Our stay was very comfortable and I would particularly highlight the breakfast and the breakfast staff.

Three to four days is an adequate stay in Syros which allows time for you to explore the main town with its marble paved roads and neoclassical architecture; and Ano Syros with its narrow alleyways and thousands of steps; as well as visit nearby beaches- Kini being the best.

From the moment you walk in you are transported back to another era.

The hotel has beautiful painted ceilings with antique furnishings and Venetian chandeliers.

This mansion from the 1800s has been transformed into a boutique hotel with a mixture of classical and modern art.

The atmosphere is magical, the service impeccable and above all the hospitality of the owners legendary.

I also enjoyed the homier decor instead of the very minimalist, neutral Greek decor I found to be common.

The location was superb, we loved Syros and the town of Hermoupolis very different to anywhere else in Greece and the Hotel Ploes was a short walk to the town.

The building is a beautiful old mansion, full of modern and older art.

Our room, in the back on the 2nd floor, was a deeply relaxing and luxurious place to stay, with a Murano glass chandeliers, super high, hand painted ceilings, a stunning view of the water, and a huge bathroom with a clawfoot tube, separate shower, robes, slippers, and high end bath products.

Our room overlooked the water, most amazing sunrise we've seen in years.

We had the very top/quiet room which had a large roof terrace overlooking the ocean.

The room was absolutely beautiful; one of my favorites that we stayed in while on our trip.

Upon arrival we were taken into the front sitting room and provided with a welcome drink and some Loukoumi.

We had a room with a private terrace and a breathtaking view.

On the occasion of our daughter's wedding we booked all the magnificent rooms of the hotel and we celebrated after-wedding at the dining-room.

It is not only the hotel, the location and the service perfect,

I arrived late at night after the late ferry from Athens and was greeted at the entrance with a welcome drink and candies.

He kindly booked our restaurants  each evening.

Constantin and the rest of the team are so professional and attentive.

Konstantinos provided a friendly welcome and lots of helpful suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants.

He was always kind and so helpful it clearly turn our experience from amazing to unforgettable.

We were greeted by the charming and knowledgeable concierge, Konstantinos, who had already helped me make several plans virtually once we booked.

The staff couldn't have been any more helpful or welcoming and made us feel like family especially Constantine who was the best concierge, tour guide, historian and host ever!

It is the most beautiful 19th Century grand villa, right on the waterfront - breakfasts on their terrace were divine (and food was plentiful!).

You will not believe the view from your terrace upon the blue sea.

The decor incredible not to mention the unbelievable view from the breakfast verandah and then another level down to our own sunbathing and swimming spot directly from the hotel.

Terrace and balconies offer a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea and the veranda has easy access to a private swimming area with sun beds, perched above the water.

I also loved all the space to sprawl out and of course, the magical views of the sea when you wake up.

The Sea Platform is also a blissful experience.

The renovation of the neoclassical villa is breathtaking and every aspect has been given to the Venetian history of the island and building.

Close to a very big beach with very gradual decent into the sea.

Came for an evening meal on the outside terrace which provides an excellent view of the bay as the sun sets.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel steps from the beach.

The area at the front of the hotel overlooking the lovely beach is very welcoming, it’s in a perfect spot to enjoy a lovely few days in our favourite island ! !

Great hotel in Galissas, very close to the beach.

A stones throw from a fantastic beach, this is informal and friendly and stylish.

Aside from the beach there's some good restaurants nearby and a couple of stores to get water etc.

We also enjoyed swimming both at Galissas beach (50m away just across the street) and at the  hotel swimming  pool.

The sandy beach is just across the road and is accessed by a wooden walkway.

Our room had the view on the beach so we could watch the sunset from our room’s balcony.

Beach towels are available to borrow from reception.

There is also a shop next door for handy items (unsure if this is classed as on site), right in front of the beach.

but perfectly formed resort on the west coast of Syros and Hotel Benois sits just slightly off the road through the town - opposite the beach.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice little pool, one of the best breakfasts we've had in Greece and just a minute's walk to the beach.

Galissas beach – so peaceful and beautiful – is literally across the road.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location 50metres from a really lovely beach.

It is spotless and if you feel like it the  excellent beach is accross the street.

In a nice, quiet area with a great pool and a quick walk across the road to the beach.

even though we are over the road from the beach we preferred to stay by the pool as it was very windy on the beach.

The pool is large and clean and a welcome option if you chose not to cross the street to go to the beach.

Only 20 minutes (Euro 1.40 on the frequent buses or Euro 10 in a cab) from the urban pleasures of Ermanopoulis, Galissas is peaceful little oasis, with several excellent tavernas literally around the corner from the Benois, and the lovely, serene beach is across the street.

Easy to park a car and bus stop right by the hotel entrance.

The bus stops right outside the hotel which takes you around the island and to Ermoupoli for less than 2 euro per person.

It is a half minute walk to the beach, and a one minute walk to the bus stop to downtown.

Local bus stops just outside the hotel and we used this to go into the port of an evening.

The bus stop is right outside and will take you to all the nearby beaches and main towns.

The bus stop is just next to the hotel, ask reception and they'll provide you with the information.

The bus stop in front of the hotel has a quick and direct connection to Hermoupolis.

Whilst Galissas is some 15/20 mins by road away from the capital Hermoupolis and roughly the same from the Island Airport, it is well worth renting a car for a few days or indeed hopping on the local bus which stops at the hotel front door that does the job for you.

So easy to get around the island, bus stops right outside hotel.

The hotel itself is situated next to a few restaurants and the bus stop is right outside to get you into the town.

Transfers to and from the ferry were done personally by the staff, and for getting around the island on the cheap there is a local bus stop directly outside the hotel with car and scooter rental just down the road.

All family holidaying basics are there: (corner shop 50meters, beach 200meters, 4 or 5 restaurants 50 meters, bus stop to Ermapoulis (30min).

First they don't made pre authorization on credit card before we came

Still I never did run out of charge for my many devices even if the choice was charging or TV/Fridge.

My second request was ingored again while the main concern of the reservation desk was about number of my credit card only. .

Wonderful staff (many family members who are highly professional) and great pool with plenty of seating..

There is a large pool with plenty of loungers and you can get lunch or drinks brought to your lounger!

The pool is lovely and the rooms are cool and comfortable, with nice touches like fluffy robes and full size fridges.

They have a nice swimming pool with sun beds.

The pool was small to medium size with plenty of sunloungers available (in September when we visited).

I visited the island of Syros and had the chance to dine at Hotel Benois and I must say it is one of the great restaurants I had visited in Greece this time, Benois serve excellent food, fresh and super tasty and I enjoyed the place and the food ~ the hotel is well located, nice rooms, great swimming pool, very recommended ~

The pool area was perfect for us, small and secluded with really comfy loungers and bean bags.

The pool is sheltered and a really good size, and the rooms are modern, comfortable and really tasteful.

but the younger kids and toddlers were enjoying the impeccable pool also.

The facilities are excellent, with a really superb pool.

There are plenty of loungers at the good sized pool.

We arrived at the port to find the Hotel minibus waiting for us which was lovely.

They provide beach towels and a good taxi service to the port to catch the ferry.

The hotel operate a free shuttle service from the port in Syros and will collect you from the ferry depending upon times.

Breakfast, wi-fi and shuttle service from airport and port.

The hotel picks you up and drops you off at the port which is an added bonus.

They organise free shuttle from and to the port in Ermoupolis from 9 am- 10pm.

We were first impressed with the offer from hotel Benoit to pick us up at the port and transport us to the hotel.

Really friendly and helpful staff, and they offer pick up and transport to/from the hotel from the port in in Hermapoulis or airport.

The transfer service from the port was also a great bonus.

A complimentary shuttle collected us from the port in Syros and transported us to another time era.

Stayed here twice now and this is the Best hotel in syros, from the moment you arrive at the port for your free transfer to the hotel nothing is too much!

the hotel is about 10 to 15 min from port and down town,but worth it.

Excellent hotel with clean rooms and friendly stuff, free transfer from port or airpot.

We were picked up at the port on time and transported to this lovely hotel.

Free transportation from and to the port, without having to ask for it.

but I would recommend booking something near the port if you want to have more choice food wise.

Best we have eaten in three week island hopping holiday.

The food was very good, my vegetarian partner said it was the best vegetarian risotto she had ever had.
