even though the Receptionist was good enough to attend the apartment to resolve the problem.

We have stayed here a number of times in the past, this time one br apartment, very clean and tidy, bed was comfortable.

I spent to two nights at Quest for my 40th and loved everything about our apartment.

Apartment was very clean and well located.

Good service; Great location; Car parks in all Quest apartments are always tight; As weekends not serviced, maybe inform the clients in advance either at booking or in the beginning so that they can request and collect additional items available from the Reception desk on weekends.

Since our first time to Quest Apartments two years ago, every time we go to Portland we stay there if availability is there.

The apartments were ideal for our family of 4.

Apartment is in a great location to walk to shops and beach, no road noise in the room we had.

Apartment was spacious and there was heaps of room for the 4 of us.

I enjoyed the apartment amenities and proximity to the main street and the easy access parking.

however the apartment was lovely and  clean.

Apartment was comfortable and well set up for a family in need of a short break and rest.

The apartment had everything you could possibly need.

We stayed in the very spacious spotlessly clean  two bedroom apartment with a balcony..

Lovely pool, spacious 2 bedroom apartment, close to the main street.

Spent 4 nights with my partner in the apartment at Quest Portland and was pleasantly surprised that it had all cooking facilities, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, and own small courtyard as well as a communal area and pool to make for a comfortable enjoyable stay.

Went with my family of 5 at the quest in portland, we got the deluxe 2 bedroom apartment.

Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were nice and clean.

Great and clean rooms, well maintained premises, very quite and peacefull ambience.

Easy parking , very comfortable bed and clean facilities made for a very comfortable short stay in Portland .

Great for single night accommodation, easy check in and check out process and clean rooms.

The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional which was an added bonus.

Apartment clean and a short walk from the main shopping precinct.

Amazing staff, any problems addressed immediately, we had a broken oven ,replaced with a new one next day, clean, quality bed and personal linen,  well positioned in a beautiful town!

We are very happy with overall experience while staying at the Quest Portland - very clean, good location and friendly staff.

Hot water service is located behind locked door in 2nd bedroom which kicks in at 7am which was very annoying.

Need some maintenance in bathroom e.g shower door.

but un allocated so we had to park out on the street on a rainy night because others used all the spaces including outside our door.

My only problem was that the sliding door could not be locked and made me feel a little unsafe.

Fridge door hard to close, beds super hard.

Accessing the room at night was tricky as the stairwell was unlit and the (unlockable) door to the car parking area opened so close to the bottom step as to make it dangerous.

Otherwise, be prepared to straddle the toilet to close the bathroom door.

*The bathroom entrance is tight, making it hard to access the toilet as the door opens weirdly.

Room was tired, shower door leaked, room was not serviced at all over the two night stay, we had to request fresh towels and toilet paper and the rubbish was not emptied, container blocked our nominated car park

The main concern is love to see get fixed, to see an extra form of lock up high to prevent children opening the door and getting out.

9am at 25th morning, 2 housekeeping staffs knocked our door and tried to access into our rooms, it seems they definitely had no idea if guests still in the room!!!

but not so great if there are kids screaming and carrying on like kids do in a pool, also other guest were smoking in the pool area which meant we had to close our sliding doors.

Also we didn’t feel quite secure as the door and stair case leading to our apartment was always unlocked.

Long story short, the bride and groom used the apartment for the two nights out of three and to having to park out on the street because the “allocated”car park at the apartment door was taken by another car and when brought to the attention of the staff it was advised then that there is no allocated car parking.

The flyscreens on the doors leading to the balcony  were filthy and looked like they had never been cleaned and when trying to open them you had to practically force them open and one of the screens actually fell out of the rails.

Just a little concerned about security as outer door to our apartment and the one next door was left unlocked all night leaving it susceptible to overnight rough sleepers.

Our apartment was not clean and the outside terrace was very dirty with the screen door off the rails because there was so much dirt in the tracks .The bathroom was tiny with no space to even stand unless the door was closed .Breakfast both mornings was missing a lot of things that were advertised  and not replenished and there was no one around to ask or help .Overall it was below standard all around .

Our special request for an extremely quiet and private room was met - the room was perfectly located.

Quest is in a good location to leave the car parked, and walk to the water front or to any of a number of places for food or just have a look around.

Also a great location for a Portland stay.

Its in a good location, within easy walking distance to pubs and shops, and you can park on site.

Great location, fantastic staff always pleasant and helpful.

The location was convenient and the pool was perfect for the kids to enjoy.

Good location, good staff, would recommend for a family visit.

I enjoyed my stay had no trouble at all booking was easy check out was easy only cook utensils need to be better so we would find easier to cook and clean.

This apartment experience has made me want to book with Quest in other cities.

I would definitely consider it for my future bookings.

We booked a 2 bedroom deluxe and were happy with the whole experience.

overall was excellent experience recommend it and will book it again in future.

We will defenitely book again next time we are down that way.

We have stayed here numerous times, booking a one bedroom apartment, and have usually been in an apartment down the side of the complex.

Do yourself a favor there are a lot of other nicer places in Portland with great customer service, book with the other providers

We booked for 4 nights and found our 1 Bedroom  apartment to be large and  comfortable, with plenty of light in living area and bedroom.

Our continental breakfast daily was included as I had booked direct with the hotel which was a nice surprise and much appreciated.

Would definitely stay here again and my advice would be to book in advance.

Effortless stay and excellent room condition.

A lovely quiet room with the only sound at night some rain on the roof lulling me off to sleep.

Despite there being a noisy family group in the room below, no sound at all penetrated to our room - truly excellent sound-proofing.

Other than that we were happy with the room and the stay.

Very happy with our stay for a family long weekend - close walking distance to shops, supermarkets and eateries, room had everything needed including full kitchen, plenty of car parking, very quiet room, will be back in summer

Not being an apartment where you can wash or dry towels your stuck with the same damp 2 towels for the duration of the stay.

(Never told or advertised) absolute nightmare with a 1 year old, the floors and couches had stains everywhere, the showers all leaked and the bed linen in the cot was disgusting.

butts on the balcony and stairwell and building was dirty.

We were especially disappointed to find excessive amounts of mold in the shower alcove.

Unfortunately we lucked out and got one of the family apartments down the back next to the overflowing, stinking industrial bins.

but I did notice some mould & discolouring of pipes behind the toilet.

There were ants crawling on the bedspread and bed.Half empty bottle of milk and empty bottle of soda water in the fridge from previous guests which was not cleaned out.Absolutely disgusting exhaust in the bathroom with clumps of dust

The foyer into the room was disgustingly dirty, the price was way too high considering prices in Melbourne are less for a far better room.

Breakfast not the nicest - recycled pastries were stale and unappealing.

I was also given a sheet to sign stating no smoking no party, no guests after 10pm etc

but had a strong "cooking smell" that would suggest deodorizing or cleaning of the rangehood vents was needed.

Bathroom a bit dirty and reeked of mould, had to keep window open, no flyscreen in the window either.

Our overnight stay was effortless and peaceful.

Blue room is clean and provides amazing view to the pier.

arrived at the Quality Hotel in Portland and was immediately impressed by the position of this gorgeous old bluestone hotel , right on the corner overlooking the harbour.

We chose an executive king suite (room 27) with its view of the harbour and were really taken by the integration of old with new.

We stayed in a king suite with a partial view of the harbour.

A very nice historic Hotel, right on the Seafront with good views of the harbour, & close to the city centre.

we drive to the sea and saw the harbour,and the motel is just opposite the harbour.

The accommodation was comfortable and the staff made the experience great.

Second the room was both very comfortable and very tastefully appointed.

The bed was very comfortable, shower was fine and the room was large enough to feel comfortable to spend a night in if you have had a long day.

The hotel is being constantly restored by its owners to give you the feel that you have stepped back in time yet have all the comforts of today.

Great welcome, spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, great comfy king bed, old building with interesting decor, centrally located in town, off street parking, great food in downstairs restaurant.

The room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed, beautiful mahogany furniture and heavy velvet drapes.

The price and the promotion would suggest a degree of predictable comfort and without the noise it probably would have lived up to the promise (location, bed and bathroom were all pretty good).

Beds are resonanly comfortable, good wifi, all the little things like kettle, fridge etc.

but the two rooms we stayed in were luxurious and comfortable and decorated in a very nice historic way.

The room was beautifully decorated, quite contemporary in style with a comfortable bed and plenty of space.

The woodwork was beautiful, the furnishings exquisite, the bathroom had a wonderful huge tub.

Pub was very impressive and reflected the old colonial era.

The rooms were spacious and full of character, furnished to suit the feel of the hotel.

Rooms are spotless, old world charm and staff where very helpful on check in.

Chesterfield lounge, writing desk, reading table, all added to the atmosphere.

This 170 year old bluestone masterpiece of Victorian architecture has been beautifully restored with everything that matters well up to 2021 standards.

The rooms have everything you need and mine (room 35) was spacious, clean and bright.

Stepping into our elegant room was like stepping back in time to a bygone era.

however to point to a degree of elegance so this is what attracted us.

The hotel itself has a reasonable amount of charm.

Grand mid-1800s hotel with so acious room with gracious decor, wifi, flatscreen TV, mini fridge, electric water kettle for tea, fabulous bed and modern ensuite.

The Quality Hotel ( or Mac) is an orgininal Victorian era hotel that has retained its look and feel,

Very nicely done, a welcoming hotel, large staircase in the (almost) grand manner leading to some nicely furnished rooms.

Really more than a hotel, exceptional spacious, modern, light and bright rooms.

It's a beautiful old 3 storey bluestone hotel full of atmosphere with views of Bentinck St, the foreshore and the port.

Only warning - no lift so if you can't manage  a staircase, this is not the place for you.

The Quality Hotel is three floors and does not have an elevator.

There is no lift, so it is a bit of a pain if you have a lot of luggage.

No elevator so unfortunately it is not accessible.

3 stories, no lift, no good for old or disabled

No lift so we had to climb two flights of stairs with luggage which is not an issue if you are fit and able.

Obviously being a very old Hotel there is no lift and we had to take our own luggage upstairs and down which we didn't mind.

Overnight costs included free drinks and free continental breakfast, making it extremely good value indeed.

We have treated ourselves this visit to a King Spa Suite room 27 midweek stay was very reasonable rate and value for money especially when you factor in free breakfast for two.

Even with Covid guidelines the staff presented a very comprehensive included breakfast

Continental breakfast is included with the accommodation.

Complimentary breakfast was very much appreciated.

Spent 2 nights in a partial ocean view room,very spacious with a king bed and a comfy chesterfield.A Continental breakfast was included in our rate,and was ample to start the day.Don't miss dining here,the choices are extensive,reasonably priced,and oh so tasty[plus huge serves]

Had a nice complimentary breakfast at a nearby restaurant, down the main beachfront road.

There is a very good restaurant next door called Clock by the Bay, and you can get a decent pub meal at the hotel too.

Hotel restaurant Admella very good range and hotel is within walking distance of other Bentinck restaurants.

We dined in the Hotel in the evning as well.

The only redeeming features of this visit, the hotel   restaurant was OK and the meals pretty good,

This was a recorded music over the house amp — not a live band or apparently any special event.

My room was directly above the band, and it was very, very loud.
