Breakfast was excellent, something for all tastes and the evening meals most enjoyable.

All meals can be taken outside and to breakfast in such a location is truly special.

Two weeks of bliss with breakfasts on our balcony or in the Terrace Restaurant by the sea.

The rooms are lovely, beds super comfortable, the food is amazing breakfast on the terrace is out of this world.

There was a good choice of delicious food which was served by friendly and helpful waiting staff.

The breakfast and evening meal were stunningly good.

I would highly recommend treating yourself to dinner in the waterfront La Terrassa restaurant (booking advised as it is always busy) as the food is delicious and its waterfront location transforms it into a truly special occasion.

To you the Management and Following on from the previous posts we agree you need to start to making changes to the bar area we have just waited over 40min for 2 drinks staff just wandering around as a resident this is poor service and continues all the time from now on we will spend our monies at other bars please please please get it sorted the hotel is fabulous breakfast is fantastic read and act on your complaints

The rooms are clean and comfortable BUT the service is poor - drinks taking forty minutes plus to arrive, a terrible smell at the club swimming pool every day and poor air con in one of our rooms - reported twice and never acted on as far as we know.

We complained about the poor food and the deduction of €50.

but whilst the breakfast was very good and the service excellent, the evening meal was certainly not up to standard served over two sittings, poor food in a restaurant with no atmosphere.

but the lack of toiletries for a nights stay in a spa hotel was poor.

It transpired that many of the restaurants were either overcrowded or had poor menus.

however last year we understand it changed ownership with little to show apart from a very poor early breakfast on our day of departure.

The shower was of an old design and of poor flow.

There was quite a noticeable amount of poor behaviour towards the staff, lacking please and thank you etc.

however the air con was just as poor, so we stayed  put.

though some of the rooms appear to be quite small.

Upon entering the room the room it was very small, unimpressive and smelled bad.

The room was so small that only one of us could move at once.

My husband and I had room 331 to begin with and as we were shown to the room we were told that once we’d unpacked that the hotel would store our empty suitcases as the room was too small to leave them in with us.

Our room was really small 2 get either side of the bed for the next most expensive room to a suite and didn’t have a bath, no turn down service, dreadful room service and awful air conditioning.

Breakfast is superb with a huge amount of choice.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which allowed us to try some of the many restaurants close by and near the marina.

We visit this hotel usually twice a year as we love it so much, it has a  lovely selection of fresh food  for breakfast and dinner and some days a Spanish guitarist plays in the morning while having your breakfast in the outside eating area, which really is lovely.

We booked a holiday at this Hotel on a Bed and Breakfast deal.

It was lovely to have a classical guitarist play for during breakfast.

We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast selection was good and the service was attentive.

Thanks to Kane and Ana the two chefs who did the show cooking and did eggs and omelettes to order in the morning.

It is clean and the food (breakfast) is amazing.

Food is excellent with well stock buffets and BBQs offering a huge choice.

Breakfast and diner are of excellent quality and served with the utmost care.

Plenty of choice from fruit to continental meats and breads to a full cooked breakfast with chefs cooking omelettes etc if required.

The clientele is older, the pool is small and all I could hear is as poor parents feeling they needed to apologise for their children having fun in the pool!!

but the room signal was poor and kept dropping out and you had to keep logging on.

Wi-fi was far too poor at too many times.

2) WiFi slow and very frustrating regularly dropped out and lost connection ( very poor for C21st century)

On the negative side, the AC is my room was too loud to have it on at night and the wifi connection was quite poor.

I wouldn’t return due to the poor room standard and noise.

The entertainment was poor and very old skool.

So as far as reception staff/managers are concerned I would give them a very poor review

With the poor exchange rate falling since booking almost a year ago, our per night rate for B&B was over £250 per night, more towards the £300 rate.

.. one little thing that hit us was in my opinion,since the UYAL has upgraded to 4 star and is clearly the top place to stay , it's lost  it's friendliness amongst guest , a lot of what we called 10 bob millionaires with poor manners that don't want to speak.

however location does not make up for poor service.

The restaurant lets this Hotel down very badly breakfast is very mediocre generally always cold to look warm even the "show cooking " is poor cold  raw ingredients onto to the egg for an omelette --- not good!

The lighting in the bathroom was poor for putting make up on, etc.

..probably because of the poor weather back in th UK.

but the satellite reception was so poor, it was practically unwatcheable - not that important in my view.

UK TV reception very poor with at times only Sky News available - spoke to reception and was told it was to do with the weather?

I will be interested to see if I get the same management response as other people who have written poor reviews.

The breakfast, which has now reverted to help yourself buffet service, was delicious with a wide range of items, always kept well stocked.

Hotel services and breakfasts provided by a linked business " Cappuccino" were very good.

The breakfast was delicious as ever, the freshest orange juice, fresh fruit, so many different pastries and breads and a beautifully cooked hot breakfast selection for anyone who could fit it in! Sitting outside the hotel lingering over coffee and breakfast whilst watching people walk or run (brave souls!)

breakfast there was a 1 x kettle that you have at home and 2 small toasters, they didn’t replenish quick enough and you where consistently asking for things, outside tables near got cleaned up not great service!….

Breakfast is served buffet style and enjoyed on the outside terrace with something I’m sure to suit all tastes.

If you use the beach beds and umbrellas outside the hotel you will pay (for umbrella and 2 beds) 22 euro's, if you walk out of the centre down towards Alcudia there is more space on the beach and you will only pay 16 euro's.

but a bit pricey, sad to see that the terrace on the pine walk has gone.

Indoor, it's also the, a bit overpriced Cappuccino Grand Café

but this was the first time I had paid extra for a Seaview room.

although the price for three nights well up on before.

however, having booked myself an expensive sea view room, as was only going for 3 nights, I wish I'd understood how noisy the front is in August, and that the music from the bar Cappucino, would come directly up into my room as it was over the bar.

A buffet breakfast with full English is an added bonus as is the use of the hotels sun beds for no extra cost.

For the price per night it really doesn't compare with others.

however not the experience you would expect given the price you pay.

You are given a passcode for access and optional a bike lock for a small fee.

Excellent attention received by the personnel, furthermore when I asked to change my room due to it noisy environment, pay attention with room number 131 is above the warehouse and is extremely noisy.

However Cappuccino was so expensive I we never went there.

but the sentimental value was there for my wife, so the cost had to be measured against that!

A hotel without a bar,restaurant,dining room.When we stayed there for ten days in early May there were no inside eating facilities even on the coolest windiest mornings.For eating and drinking we were referred to Cappucino next door .The most expensive establishment onthe’front’,including the six star hotel at the end of the bay.Contrary to what you may read there are no laundry services available.This B&B is living on what may have been past glories and now seems ,sadly,to be misrepresenting itself.

When we do get to book again we shall pay the extra and get a sea view nxt time.

We would definately return, where I would not return to is cappuchinos next door (I have wrote a seperate review) awful, expensive, poor service and food

Sound proofing in the room was very poor.

The room had very poor sound insulation, we could hear the people above and on both sides.

It would have been tiny for one person, never mind two and one of us having poor mobility.

but we had one poor day and one dull day out of 7.

we read on trip advisor the poor comments regarding your hotel.

The only complaint is the WiFi is poor for a 4 star hotel.

Breakfast was equally poor with regular visitors getting priority for tea and coffee service.

We thought the choices, especially of hot dishes and coffees were poor.

but the first couple of days the poor waiters seemed to be thin on the ground and run off their feet but this seemed to sort itself out later in the week.

Two critisisms about the terrace, - sunbeds were reserved from about 6am onwards and kept all day, sometimes people even claimed tables and chairs as well when wanting a break from the sunbathing, and the bar service was non-existent or poor on some days.

The only downside to this holiday was created by the poor exchange rate of the Pound to the Euro, which means that a resort like Puerta Pollensa is now very expensive and I wouldn't recommend the resort for young families.

First impression beautiful hotel , the staff very good only thing the room was small and right at the top of the stairs above reception so a bit noisy could here everyone talking and air conditioning not good , pastrys at breakfast were lovely .

The Restaurant fare is plentiful and varied and of the highest standard of preparation and culinary skill.

The food was excellent and always fresh and plentiful.

There was so much choice for me it was really great & my husband said the same too, in fact, I think it’s one of the best hotels I’ve been to for the quality of buffet food.

The food is very good, plentiful and caters for all tastes.

The food is the big plus here - it's excellent and the staff work really hard to make sure its a good standard every breakfast and dinner (we don't have lunch there).

Breakfast offered a great choice of continental options,  different yoghurts, cereals, fruits and hot food options.

We enjoyed the buffet and there was a variation of entertainment in the evenings through out our stay.

Very mixed experience here, it’s quite difficult to give a score out of 5 as some things were very poor and some things excellent and it really depends what sort of holiday you’re after, so I’ll just list the good and bad from our perspective and you make up your mind!

I thought the sweets were poor with only a small amount of fruit.

Only other slight issue was that Aircon poor in bedroom,but good in lounge.Would stay again and recommend this hotel.

The choice of meat was poor, lots of stir fry’s and kebabs, the pork fillet we had one evening was so tough we couldn’t cut it never mind chew it.

Reception pretty poor in lots of areas  and drops out a lot.

2  The WiFi signal stength is poor and needs an upgrade.

but unfortunately because of the cost cutting style and poor management we left feeling very disappointed.

On other nights the hotel entertainment staff put on a show themselves which was poor.
