Unfortunately it is not a handicapped friendly as there's no lift excess to the hotel reception area and rooms.

The hotel reception is on the second floor and rooms on the 3rd, with no lift.

Only issue is there is no lift and hotel lobby located at level 2.

There is no lift to the 1st floor reception which could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

Location is situated in a nice town, easy to find the hotel, Rooms are according to home sweet home concept & well kept, Amenities are in good manner and satisfied & useful needs are made available, I had better sleep in 2 single bedded room rather than king size bed is not maintained well.

The location of the hotel is also very good, convenient to get food/stuff around.

The hotel is located in an area that is convenient to many things.There are dozens of very good places to eat all over this area, so you are in no way dependent on the hotel for food.

It is located right at the town center, can easily find good food from the restaurants nearby.

The location is near the KFC, 7 eleven, CIMB Bank, Farmasi and so on.

For the price, you get value for money as they have satellite tv and coffee making facility.

For an average price with decent price for a budget hotel.

Staff helped to find a cab for my onward journey, and got a good price for that.

The hotel rate that i get under corporate rate is very ideal with the services rendered at the hotel is very good & satisfied.

Pros : One of the few hotels with triple sharing rooms, it is reasonably priced ( $80 excluding tax ) and has excellent concierge and room service.

The ride from Pontian town to Kukup village is just about 20 minutes and the seafood at the Kukup restaurant is delicious and price is reasonable.

The counter staff also helped us with securing taxi service for a 1/2 day-trip to Tanjung Piai National Park, Kukup Town and Pineapple Museum, at a reasonable cost.

The price is suitable with the rooms and services.

With the price we paid, we get a comfortable and clean room, with LCD TV and it is very spacious.

coz it's new, clean and the room rate even included breakfast.

The view is okay ish and we didnt get to hear noises from the road in front of us.

For room location, our room is next to a deserted building that have loud noises coming from a radio daily from 6am til early evening, so try to ask for a room further away.

the hotel is noisy at night because of the traffic and bird nest in front of the building.

However the noise from the road (cars & lorries) can be disturbing when i tried to get some sleep at night.

Shower was quite noisy and flow was fairly small.

though the windows do let in the noise of the road outside because it is not double glazed.

Depending on what you want to do in the evening ie stay in and dine simple nearby then this place is nice and quiet with two 24-hr cheap eats and a chinese coffee shop.

Simple breakfast like bread, soup, prata, pasta or fried rice n hotdogs etc.

The staff are friendly and helpful - they helped us find a spot to eat, entertained our requests almost immediately and always greeted us with a smile.

but for $80 a room with wifi, I have no bones to pick esp when 3 of us eat breakfast for free.

Breakfast was good and sufficient for the both of us and there was a variety of food on both mornings.

The hotel was convenient for visiting Kukup for the fish restaurants.

They have a continental breakfast, which is OK.  Food is no problem though, as there are restaurants all over the place, as well as all kinds of stores and shops.

A five minute walk in almost any direction will lead you to restaurants and cafes.

In December, I've a family gathering at the Shangrila restaurant.

Breakfast is so so as the food was bought in from outside.

This hotel operates from 1st floor and have rooms on 1st and 2nd floor.

I advice to pick family room & above though.

The room are comfortable and nice for solo traveler.

The room were clean with everything needed for my short stay, staff attend to the room daily and are more than willing to help.

After checking the rooms of these 3 hotels, we finally selected Pontian Garden which gave us a homely,clean environment,nice seaview from cafe on 3rd floor.This 3 storey small hotel beside the sea consists of 20 rooms, occupancy run full most of the time.Try calling first .

Majority of hotel here are not high rise so no lift.

The only down side is that their is no elevator in the hotel, pretty much the standard for hotel in this small town.

Note there is no lift or bell boy to assist in your luggage.Could be a challenge for physical disability or old people.Car parks are public ones chargeble from 8 am to 6 pm, RM0.60 per hour.

Adequate breakfast, polite & friendly reception, great location and a minute’s walk from the bus station.

Situated walking distance from important places like the bus station, restaurants and places to shop and just over the street from the beach made the hotels location very convenient.

If you are healthy enough to climb up the stairs, then its worthwhile because the cafe for breakfast is at the roof top.

Marrybrown fried chicken restaurant is just next door, guest entitled to 10% discount when patronise.Mcdonald,7 eleven, seafood restaurant are all walking distance.

Given room 1006 with 2 single bedded @ walk in price RM148 with breakfast.

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and there is a lovely outside roof top area to enjoy the lovely breakfast in the morning and chill in the evening.

The room have a terrace that you can sit to drink coffee.

Two days retreat in the resort, rooms are clean , all equipped with aircon and private bathroom.

The rooms and toilets were clean with toiletries provided and I’m surprised they even have room slippers.

Rooms were very clean and well maintained.

Overall the Resort is well-maintained and we love it !

The swimming pool was surprisingly clean and not those typical chlorine pool.Infact,It feels like fresh water pool.It is best to have everything you need with you like titbits and etc as shop is pretty far out

Accommodation is clean and food is healthy yet delicious!

One of my sons took the milking cow experience for RM$10 and we were able to drink the milk from the jug we collected the milk from.

1) It was pretty deep in to drive and the lane was quite narrow

2) Warmer reception staff with less rigid rules be great.

It's a great place for families with children.

Food wise, there is no eatery nearby, so you'll have to eat in.

Resort is quite deep in with no grocery stores or food stores nearby.

We decided a get a weekend getaway that was nearby and cosy.

The meals provided is ample and delicious, you can request for extras if you have big appetite.

We chose the latter as we planned to have lunch outside.

After that, we had animal feeding session where we went to feed all the animals; horses, goats, rabbits, cats, cows, chickens and ducks.

Breakfast was rather good with plenty of varieties and lunch

Next morning we feeding the animals like the cat, horses,rabbits  and fishes.

Pros:
1) The escorting from Pekan Nanas public bank was great

2) The reception area was nice and cooling 

3) Variety of animals for kiddos, chicken, geese, ducks, turkeys, goats, cats, horses, cows and dogs.

Many animals to see, horses, goats, sheep, geese, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, cows, etc.

Food is OK and I found the prices reasonable for hotel food

It  was nice to interact with those cute animals.

There are activities you can play, just inform the reception.

The staff drove us in (you are not allowed to go i yourself, walking or driving) using a golf cart and we saw swimming pool, river, animals and tractor for the farm, these are all for those guest staying with the resort.

We were greeted by smiles before we even alighted from the car.

in this resort, we do not have data, phone calls, so all you can do is to chill and bond with your friends and family, great place to build connections with people and the nature.

Rooms and attached shower are very clean.

It offers a clean, sea view room with a double bed.

Room on the 2nd level, spacious and very clean, comfortable stay.

Rooms are comfortable, impeccably clean with a modern touch.Took a morning stroll along the beach.

The room  VERY CLEAN and also had a very roomy and novel 'rainforest' type showers which I was grateful to use in the humid conditions.

Rooms looks like what was shown on their website - clean and exudes a cheery feel.

but tastefully decorated & most importantly, it's clean & we slept comfortably.

Recommend to stay here, hotel is new and clean.

Generally the family room is quite big and the bathroom is quite precious too.

spend a night in view of attending  family matters 2 weeks before Ramadan.

Seafood is fresh and with affordable price.

Tried the food at the seafood restaurant downstair, price reasonable and the prawns are good.

Will definitely pay another visit when I'm next in the area.
