The view was breathtaking from the balcony.

Slept beautifully every night, and we had a balcony so the view was always out of this world every time we looked out into the sea.

The view from the balcony is amazing, we were even lucky enough to witness a wedding!

Not only does the hotel have great rooms, the consigliere and management was spectacular our consigliere Pascuale was friendly, energetic, and gave all four of us a detailed tour of the hotel.

Only con, is it was a bit noisy near the stairs.

You also hear a lot of the noise from the cars on the street.

however, this was not an issue for us as the sound really died down by about 11pm each night.

The only real negative is that our room was located on the fourth floor right underneath the restaurant, and the sound of setting up for breakfast was quite loud in our room and would wake us up every morning.

On our check out our car was brought to us with our bags carried to the car and they assisted us getting out our space in the traffic.

The superior rooms with large sea view balconies are on lower floors are very noisy because of the road.

Only downside was occasionally a noisy neighbour/kids . .

although we could hear our neighbours talking.

but the walls and ceilings are paper-thin, so you can hear everything from all your neighbor (sleeping in is therefore not an option).

I don’t think I would stay here again for one reason-that being the amount of noise you hear from your room.

Rooms had a little street noise and smaller bed (we're both very tall),

I mean eg. comments about the noise from the road ( the windows are absolutely sound proof when closed ) or that somebody locked himself out on the balcony, because of the funny functioning of the door lock (completely impossible now with the balcony door closing system present.)

but not too close to hear all the noise and tourist.

However, this hotel is on an extremely busy road and the rooms are noisy from the traffic all night long.

Minor annoyance is traffic on main road running right in front of hotel.

However, there are of course lots of steps, narrow paths (or none at all), and plenty of traffic to negotiate.

As the hotel is on the main road there is traffic daily noise at the front of the hotel.

In couple of hours we noticed a lot of noise coming from the elevator as we were given a room next to the elevator.

The only negative is it's located on the main road so there was some noise that you could heard from the traffic

We also enjoyed a day on the rooftop at the pool.

Try their rooftop pool with bar service (have an aperol spritz- yum).

The rooftop pool and bar area is impressive as well.

Location is a great (a little away from the beach and crowds) had a nice size pool on roof top and the breakfast buffet in the morning gave us a great start to our day!

Loved the personal tour of the property when you arrive, the rooftop pool was great and staff were are so friendly and accommodating.

The roof top pool has incredible views, as do the rooms.

It is a charming  and perfectly located boutique hotel in Positano with a really great staff, restaurant, quiet, rooftop pool, wine tasting room and fantastic breakfast every morning.

As well, we enjoyed the hotel’s lovely amenities including the roof top pool & bar area, and food.

A fabulous rooftop pool and sun deck which was unrivalled in our opinion.

This is one of few in the city to have a pool on the rooftop.

for us, the highlight was the rooftop pool- the temperature of the pool was perfect and the view was amazing and after a day of sightseeing we loved spending our afternoons relaxing by the pool.

Dinner on a rooftop terrace overlooking Positano - whether in daylight or with twinkling lights at night - just cannot be beaten.

We went for dinner at the restaurant on the owners birthday and got to see the amazing fireworks after an amazing good dinner with great dessert.

The staff was wonderful and the food was good.

He is super knowledgeable and a wonderful ambassador for the region.

Everyone was very passionate about what they do.

There were a couple who were great and attentive, another couple who never seemed to notice you trying to get their attention.

Our host at check in was amazing and he personally gave us a tour on arrival.

The front desk staff was very helpful in finding things for us to do and arranging drivers for our excursions.

This hotel is filled with staff that want to make your stay trouble free.

This hotel is located on a very busy road and you can hear all the traffic with the doors closed at night while trying to sleep.

Others have mentioned the road noise, and yes, the hotel is on quite a busy road

Only negative is it is on the main road so during the day you hear a lot of traffic.

Right on the road so some noise -- AND it's 9 stories down to the beach.

The only potential drawback is street noise if there are light sleepers in your group.

The only down side was that the hotel is on the main road and the traffic noise on the patio was a bit more than I could stand (we were on the first floor).

I know other people have mentioned the road noise,

but the family room is on the first floor, so you are directly over the street traffic and "only" have a view of the sea.

If you closed the balcony doors I didn't notice street noise.

The only problem that I had was there was a great deal of road noise and I'm a light sleeper.

I had read reviews that mentioned street noise and the hard mattresses - neither one of us noticed this at all.

The only negative thing we experienced during our visit was the traffic from the road just outside the hotel.

I was first disappointed that we had a room so close to the road and we did hear cars if we had the balcony doors open.

The ONLY con is the street noise which did wake us up a few times and I suppose the bed could have been a bit less firm.

We drove to the hotel, and at least in April, the road and traffic conditions were fine.

I've done a lot of half board/bed and breakfast/all inclusive and the food does get very boring after a few days.

We stayed ten years ago when it was a little grander and offered a fabulous all inclusive package.

Some people were ‘moaning’ about hotel whilst enjoying the drinks on the All Inclusive option!!

Stayed a week pre pandemic on an all inclusive basis.

but in one review I did read that you had a choice of wine on the a/i we were offered 2 white and one red.

Drinks:

Very good AI choice, also a wine list & get the bottle rather than a glass as pretty much standard.

Just returned,from a weeks holiday ,at this all inclusive,traditional Italian hotel .

Overall this is a well placed, and comfortable all inclusive hotel.

We had all inclusive whilst we were there.

Relaxing atmosphere, Staff were so friendly and attentive, the range of food and the drinks were great, proper branded alcohol in the all inclusive like Peroni and Gordon’s gin.

This is one of the few (and maybe only) hotel in the Sorrento area that is all inclusive and it was a great find.

The all inclusive is one of the best we have had, if you drink white or Prosecco the bottle arrives in a wine chiller and is left with you at the table.

however find tons of restaurants in Meta and Sorrento however that’s not the point when you pay for an all inclusive break away.

When eating it is if you are going out to a restaurant rather than the rush of a usual all inclusive.

It is a lovely hotel the food and drink available on All Inclusive is amazing.

Everyone else was awesome too, by far the best service I’ve had in any hotel, all inclusive or not.

but felt this hotel deserved one best value all inclusive I have ever  been on.

The all Inclusive really is all Inclusive, whatever is on the drinks menu including cocktails and branded drinks.

The shuttle bus was prompt and reliable, we always managed to book it when needed.

The location was good - just a bus ride into the centre of Sorrento, and we also used the hotel's speedy shuttle bus when there was space.

We used the shuttle bus which you must book the night before

Shuttle bus is very good to take you to and from Sorrento being a 15 minute drive away.

The shuttle bus to the centre of Sorrento  about 5km away works well,

Shuttle bus efficient and free (one euro in the evening).

but they do offer a free shuttle bus to get there.

The regular shuttle bus into Sorrento was really useful as it opened up additional ways to travel around the area by train and bus which were in the same location.

but with frequent shuttle buses to and from.

Transport – we used the courtesy shuttle bus to go to Sorrento  (book at reception), a local guy for trips to Meta station (name from reception) and trains (eg to go to Pompeii & Sorrento).

The shuttle bus to Sorrento was a very useful bonus and the hotel arranged visit to Pompeii was brilliant , our granddaughters really enjoyed the virtual reality headsets.

They are very generous with measurements for the alcoholic drinks, I asked for 2 glasses of 
Prosecco & was given the bottle 😂 

 The hotel very kindly offer a free shuttle bus into the town of Sorrento and you are dropped off at the bus station/ train station.

The shuttle bus to Sorrento is really handy and it's really cheap and easy to day trip to the Amalfi Cost, Pompeii, etc.

Meta is a lovely quiet place to base yourself for a peaceful time when you want it or just book the free shuttle at reception ( there's a copy of the time table attached) to Sorrento and base your sightseeing from there.

The food is fantastic, the staff can’t do enough for you, and a free shuttle bus takes you into Sorrento all day and evenings.

The decor was lovely and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Staff, especially the ones at Reception, in particular Maria Borriello-
were most accommodating - nothing was too much trouble & they were genuinely friendly & cheerful.

Reception staff were friendly,  efficient and welcoming, and informed ùs that they had given us a lovely room on the 5th floor overlooking the bay.

but evening meals were excellent, fantastic choice, restaurant very clean and staff were so friendly.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and speak English,(although we do attempt a few words of Italian to make an effort).

Pool was a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures so when busy it got very congested.Shuttle bus had limited availability and had to be booked a day before .Evening entertainment was a  guy on a keyboard every night "singing" easy listening tunes ,the buskers on the trains were far better.all in all most staff were friendly and helpful

Friendly staff, lovely spacious room which was very clean.
