My daughter absolutely loved the Roxity kids club and could not wait to join each day.

There is a kids club and a teen club, several pools each with their own special touches.

Hotel was a great get away before Christmas - lovely facilities - particularly liked the array of pools from the kids pool to the quiet pool to the larger beach club vibe pool next to the beach cove.

We travelled with our 11 and 13 year old girls who loved the teens club, basket ball court and cool activities they put on such as dj lessons & graffiti art.

The girls in the kids club were all so nice, my little girl loved the kids disco at 6pm.

We only ate at the breakfast buffet and the Beach Club Snack Shack and special Dinning at Montauk Steakhouse (reviewed on Montauk TAdvisor) so can't say what lunch/dinner buffet was like or the other speciality restaurants were like.

"Roxity kids Club" is highly recommend if you have kids.

The mini club is good for children under 8-9 years old, the teen is very entertaining.

The Rock Royalty team were brilliant and Aday at the Beach club and private Jacuzzi areas was elite.

Absolutely loved the pool by the beach club.

Special thank you to the rock royalty team and the kids club team.

Other kids facilities and kids clubs are excellent.

I wanted to write a special thanks to the kids club!

But what made the holiday for us was how happy our boys were in the Teen club.

We had a five day break and the hotel bottom pool was one day closed off to a club circa 18-25s rave.

The staff were brilliant, friendly and normally quite helpful and the set-up for families looked really good, 2 pool areas, clubs and activities to keep children entertained, plus the buffet restaurant was really well set out for kids of all ages to use.

We used the Roxity and Lullaby clubs, and I must say, they were fantastic!

The ambience was very relaxing and at the same time fun, loved all of the the live music, the pool areas are all well laid out, the staff are on the whole very friendly and helpful and efficient and you really feel that the staff want you to have a good holiday especially the staff at the kids club and Teen club ie Eze and Patricia.

but OVERALL the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I was on a family holiday where I had excellent service from matteo who would always be attentive and friendly to us and because of this we have decided to come back next year as it was amazing.

Went to the shop & Mahuay was amazing, so helpful & friendly.

Tammy, Anabel, Enrique and David always meet us with a friendly smile and have gone out of their way to make sure food and drinks are available to me, even ensuring I have daily cake, which my husband is happy about as being non coeliac wasn’t allowed to have his fix unless I could have mine.

We fell in love with the Hardrock hotel 2 years ago and couldn't wait to return with our son.

Caters well for families with children as well as for couples with their over 18 only pool separate from 2 other outdoor pools.

We were fortunate to stay during the children of the 80s parties and it was one of the best nights out we've enjoyed in a long time.

So upset, booked this hotel specifically because it had heated pool, we love swimming and playing in the pool, we have two young children.

I booked this holiday for my 24 year old daughter and I as a break from the UK winter in the run up to the madness of Christmas.

They would both take the time to speak to my baby boy as well.

This is mainly due to my daughter taking a liking to the mini kids club thanks to Daphne, Joaqui, Sire, Karl, Lucia and Saida!

Location is poor with just a few local cafes, bars etc around hotel….

Drink Service every day is very poor trying to get a drink is hard and a long winded affair, sometimes there is plenty of staff and other days we don’t see anyone.

Cleanliness of room was poor,food poor and drink over price very expensive,pool area good pool was not very clean.

There was then very poor service on the 16th which was a huge disappointment.

For five-star prices, the service was depressingly poor.

The hotel treat their staff so badly I have never been to a hotel where the manager treats the poor staff so terribly.

Its a bit of a shame - lovely hotel, facilities and kids club let down by poor service at bars, restaurants and guest services.

but bar service was very poor, had to wait all the time to be served, not enough staff, you can not go to the bar and order your drinks, very poor service.

Some of the nightly entertainment was atrocious, a 3 piece rock band that within 20 minutes of starting about 75% of those watching had left and a Singer/comedian that was very poor at both, even down to using the song words karaoke style from his computer.

but this is completely ruined by the continually poor and slow service and numerous other issues mentioned.

The Bar service was again poor we complained to Ramiro Castillo who had originally shown us to our Balinese Bed.

but there is simply not enough staff which gives a poor customer experience.

but after upgrading to all inclusive for €100 euro each a day, to be told we can’t book into any restaurant, we was then offered sports bar where food was poor ribs with no meat on

but would not recommend The Third Half as the food was poor.

but I'd say there's just too few of them or poor systems in place.

The buffet is a bit poor, there is a lot of selection

Overall we had an amazing stay, i just feel the information was poor.

however is pretty poor, luke warm food and little variety night after night.

The other restaurant’s on site are over priced and lacking in quality.

When I pay for 5* I dont want to have to scrub my own floor or clean out my own bath. .

No form of offering given in relation to this mistake despite costing transaction fee twice on my AMEX.

All inclusive is only for certain places and drinks and you need to pay a supplement in most restaurants which isn’t cheap and cocktails not included so personally wouldn’t pay for all inclusive again as had to pay on top most times we ate and drank.

It's also quite far from the centre of Tenerife and taxis are expensive.

but ate out most nights because as you may imagine the price of food & drinks in the hotel are a little high, but I guess it is what it is.

Smallest portions in the world drinks over priced not that great .

Check-in is swift, informative and so friendly. You are given a wristband which is your room key and for charging drink/food to your room, (we were on B&B basis so we paid as we purchased food and drinks - no big surprises when checking out!)

but had a terrible experience at Montauk where the staff were unwelcoming and the food drastically overpriced for what it was.

We also go all inclusive which may seem expensive and does have some limits or extra supplement on some things

For the cost you are paying for name of hard rock and not the quality

Prices wise we didn't feel the drinks were excessive.

Negatives- 
Generally disappointed with this hotel considering the cost of it in November.

but then you are in a ***** hotel so basically we got merry but not off our trolley on their prices.

Although food was of good quality, it was overpriced and served cold.

We stayed on the Rock Royalty level which was worth it just for the breakfast in the lounge which was sensational.

Also the Rock Royalty team who made us feel welcome, gave great suggestions for outings and helped us arrange things.

Definitely make sure to book into the Rock Spa - it is out of this world!

Look out for Alba in the Rock Shop, if you can’t find something, she can.

We opted for the Rock Royalty level this time around, and can definitely say that it was the correct choice.

You must try the Rock Spa and the water experience was so relaxing.

Rock Spa was brilliant and worth every penny.

We did the spa circuit at the rock spa which was definitely worth it.

Stayed in Rock Royalty which is worth every penny more as the team will make your holiday the luxury it should be and if you do have any issues then they will resolve them ASAP.

Great staff and service, best we have seen so far.

He had a great sense of humour and banter with us.. honestly he got his steps in getting our drinks every half an hour..

He was amazing, so attentive and constantly checking we had enough drinks and we’re accommodated excellently.

Upon arrival we were kindly greeted by all staff.

The waiter Fortres was very nice and polite!

In general, all the staff are so pleasant and attentive.

Food was very good and staff extremely helpful 

Hired a car from within the hotel which was a good deal no issues 

Pay particular thanks and commendation to the members of staff at Roxity - Sire, Joaqui, Daphne, Karla, Luci y Paola within Teen Spirit and Lullaby who are incredible with the children offering a really welcoming happy environment for the children, you can either stay with the kids or leave them for a small kids club rate.

The staff, vibe, food, rooms all brilliant.

The staff, the music and atmosphere were amazing.

Especially mention to the staff that made our stay memorable - Veronica and Yasmina who looked after us at breakfast.

You might have noticed I didn't spend many words to discuss Costa Adeje or Tenerife itself, and the reason is that Grand El Mirador is a holiday destination by itself.

We stayed over Xmas at the 5 star El mirador Costa Adeje.from the moment we arrived we were treated with courtesy, kindness and given excellent service by all the employees, from the Manager to the pool attendants.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at the Iberostar Grand El Mirador in Costa Adeje.

An impressive building with an excellent outdoor area, it is well situated in Costa Adeje with easy access to shops and restaurants.

It’s situated in the northern classy end of Costa Adeje, no €1 beers or street hoarders here.

Having been staying at El Mirador for the 6th time, always enjoying a wonderful holiday, best location at Costa Adeje, beautiful sea-view junior suite and most friendly and professional staff.

Costa Adeje is a smart resort with lots of amazing restaurants close by, lovely beaches and great shopping (for those that want that option).

One of the things I like the most is its location on the Costa Adeje and the proximity to the beach.

Costa Adeje is an easy 10 minute walk if you want to mooch around shops and there is a market on Saturdays too. Conclusion.

We have just returned from the El Mirador in Costa Adeje and had the most incredible holiday !

Restaurant staff are attentive, friendly and professional.

The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful.

I have just stayed at El Mirador in Costa Adeja for the third time and booked for next year before we left the hotel is excellent the staff are always very friendly and helpful the food is excellent the gym had new equipment which was very good the Star Prestige Rooms are rather lovely

All the waiters, cleaners and receptionists are also very warm, friendly and helpful.

but if you are looking for a holiday of peace and luxury look no further .The staff are all so friendly headed by Tiziana who makes everyone feel special .The rest of the staff always look happy even if tired .We always enjoy catching up with Davide Claudia is a reasonably new member and a lovely addition .

From the reception staff, restaurant servers to the cleaners, all very friendly and super efficient.

Right from the arrival, the staff were friendly, hard working and helpful.

but we always stay at the the Mirador because this is truly a sumptuously appointed hotel, supported by warm and friendly staff, where nothing is too much trouble.

The stand out member of staff at this hotel is Tiziana, the Assistant Manager who constantly checks on the well-being of all guests and is the most friendly, helpful person you could wish to meet.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Also a big mention for Eliza in the El Cenador restaurant, she really is such a joy, with her big warm friendly smile and again always chatty whilst giving a 5 star service.

Extreme friendly staff from pooling boys to manager.

Tiziana, Carla, Diana, Jonathan and the whole of the staff in all areas were very friendly and happy, which is a good sign that the culture around the place is good.

The housekeeping staff were efficient and on the rare occasions we actually saw them, very friendly.

Whether it be breakfast or the evening meal service was superb and delivered in such a friendly, light hearted, yet professional manner.

Orlando and his team by the pool were incredibly efficient and so friendly and they always found us sun beds where we wanted to be, nothing was too much trouble for them.

They are polite, friendly and very respectful.

Fabulous hotel,  nothing too much trouble for Tiziana and the whole friendly welcoming team making our holiday extra special in  the bar, restaurants and pool area.

On arrival you are checked in by reception who are professional,  very friendly and are ready to answer any questions you may have.

You all go that extra mile to make the holiday extra special.

A special mention must go to Tiziana, the Assistant Manager - she welcomes all guests with the same warm welcome and goes out of her way to make everyone’s holiday as special and memorable as possible - thank you!

We are already planning our 3rd visit and I would highly recommend the hotel so anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing break with nightly entertainment to suit most tastes.

We have recently returned from another wonderful holiday at the Iberostar Grand El Mirador hotel.

Rooms are spotless and comfortable ; plenty of comfort and attention to making our holiday amazing.

This was our first holiday at El Mirador and we already can't wait to go back!

So all in all pretty much a perfect holiday,  we loved our stay and were so sad to leave and will definitely be returning - possibly even next year as I can’t see any hotel surpassing this one.

We have had 5 holidays here, another booked in September.

although some reviews have said it had a lot of fish dishes we didn’t bank on the meat options being such a poor offering.

The sinks drained very slowly, indicative of poor maintenance.

The service was poor in many respects, and we are astonished that this quality of hotel accepts such a shoddy service.

But this was very poor, weak and not much flavour.

but no communication was shared - very poor.

The a la carte food for the price is very poor, a medium cooked chateaubriand that was grey in the middle, the service was awful, 3 hours for a 2 course meal.

but mainly open air so not good in poor evening weather, and the buffet restaurant.

Our experience was that it was poor and not a patch on the quality of the main restaurant.

Service in the a la carte dining restaurant was poor and the food was not good.

but the attention to detail was at times poor as some days towels were not available, there is no phone for emergencies and no water coolers or water bottles on site.

but for us it has been completely ruined by the noisy building works and poor weather.

What was disappointing about our stay was the poor service and attention to detail.

The service around the pool was poor too.

Door handles hanging off, a dingy shower which was tiny, rust on towel rails, poor lighting and so on.

Almost all the bartends, with the exception of 1-2, were very poor.

A couple of minor niggles - the wi fi is poor in the rooms okay in reception(

Other 5 star hotels we've stayed at are often let down by high staff turnover from all over Europe that only stay for a season or less, with poor motivation.

Food was poor and service lacking- as we were all inc - it wasn't much to concern us

It is the perfect place for luxury relaxation.

though the hotel was full, it was very peaceful and quiet.

It is like a piece of heaven on earth - quiet, relaxing and absolutely beautiful.

The reason we keep returning is very simple, the hotel has everything one needs for a truly relaxing holiday, the rooms, pool area, restaurants etc are all first class

We will definitely continue to use this hotel as our winter retreat.

We made it and a wonderfully relaxing massage was had.

12 nights, spent relaxing in amazing grounds and hotel.

The spa is amazing, I highly recommend everything from massages, reflexology, pedicure etc, the atmosphere is relaxing and in my opinion better that some of the best Spa’s in the UK.

My wife and I have visited El Mirador for many years as it offers a unique level of relaxation.

We used the spa too which is great for getting out of the sun and into lots of relaxing features underground.

The pool area is vast and beautifully landscaped, never too busy, perfect for enjoying some tranquility and relaxation.

The hotel never seemed overcrowded or busy, it was so relaxing and the pool is huge and again there was so much room to swim and it was like having the pool to ourselves most of the time.

It was simply perfect for a grown up, luxurious retreat.

I decided to stay in this hotel because I wanted a quiet retreat from work.

The restaurants make for a relaxed meal with a great selection available.

Absolutely all the staff are fantastic and are definitely a highlight of the stay - you are well looked after from first arrival to leaving for your return flight.
