The position alongside the river is convenient, the rooms are immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast we had was perfect.

But I was quite happy to see that our room were clean, they served us the welcome fruits, minibar was nice because I could find some soft drinks and snacks inside, and they did not lock the fridge like what the five stars hotel in Monaco did to me. lol.

The location is perfect for access to the few tourist sites in town; the rooms and all common areas are spotlessly clean; the breakfast was attractively laid out and surprisingly good - fresh croissants, strong coffee, eggs cooked fresh, nice bread; and, the staff were all very friendly and really try hard.

but clean and well-appointed with a good shower cubicle as well as a huge bath.

I had a studio suite on the 3rd floor which was spacious and comfortable, with a nice terrace.

Our beautiful Lanna style room on the fourth floor was super spacious (37m², including bathroom), comfortable, very clean, super blinking wooden floor.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was really large (separate bath and shower) with gorgeous toiletries.

A short walk away from a couple of the large local temples, this hotel is modern and very comfortable.

The rooms are large enough to be comfortable with wooden floors and Thai Silk curtains, comfortable beds with lots of pillows ensure a good night's sleep.

Good comfortable room- triple room plenty big enough for us plus our nine and twelve year old.

We love this place, the rooms are comfortable , great restaurant and the included breakfast is top class.

but quiet location on bank of River Nan, the comfort of its individually designed rooms, tranquil garden with little used swimming pool, friendly and obliging staff, and delicious breakfast.

One tiny light in the ceiling over the washbasin is all that I could find.

although a few more lights would not go a miss.

but of average grade, lighting was ok to poor.

but you can utilize the light from the room by opening the sliding windows above the bath.

Lighting in the bathroom is nearly non-existent.

We stayed in a deluxe room on the 4th floor.

I would also like to mention that the floors of the room (while beautiful) could be a safety hazard.

Located at a convenient location within walking distance to various local restaurants and famous temple, Yodia Heritage Hotel offered beautiful and spacious rooms and charming services.

Room are great I am staying on 4th floor and really love to see green scene around.

but was big enough for us and the rooms clean and spacious.

Transit from the new bus station to this hotel (and back), plus transit to and from the city centre (note that in Phitsunalok taxis are rather expensive by Thai standards) made my otherwise ridiculously good value room (booked for $16 usd on Agora) not such great value anymore.

You need to leave a cash deposit for the key (250 bath).

The following morning, we checked out and nearly forgot to collect our deposit.

The guesthouse is to the south of the city center and has a big parking lot.

This very popular guesthouse is situated in the centre of town a short tuk tuk ride from the railway station.

The LiThai Guesthouse is near these landmarks: Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Rajworawihan Temple, Wat Nang Phaya, Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, Wat Bot, Baan Chuen, Phitsanulok Night Bazaar, Phitsanulok Railway Station, Mega Fitness, Sgt.

The room is big, very clean and well equipped with a tv, airco, fridge, bottled water and a private hot shower.

We had a room on level 3 , so we had our exercise for the day, up the stairs with our luggage.We did not try the restaurant for dinner because we found an excellent place to eat fresh made vegetarian Thai food: Sumalee Bakery.

The price paid puts this place well into the budget range, its cheap even for Thailand.

LiThai is a low-key guesthouse, small rooms that are clean and airconditioned.

The room is clean, bathroom is ok with water heater.

But, the room is very very clean, the breakfast (served by friendly people) is very nice and included in the price.

Room is clean with an old TV, fan, desk and chair. The toilet is in the middle of the bathroom (would like to meet the architect!)

Started out with poor service on check in.

Upon returning to the hotel a few hours later no one was attending the front desk, so we had to walk around the hotel to look for someone to check us in.

Check In was slow, as the Staff, dressed in traditional silk formal jackets, struggled to find my reservation.

.getting inside hotel you see 2-3 restaurants a few meters before the entrance of hotel.

.needless to say we drank outside of the hotel in other restaurants or we took some bottles back to the room

We had a nice dinner in the hotel restrurant and listened to some of the guests sing karaoke.

To start with the rooms were clean and bathroom was clean as well.THE water pressure was great.

There were many Thai language television channels.

but that can be expected in a secondary Thai city with few farang visitors.

This was our first trip to Phitsanulok, a city that has quite ancient roots in Thai history.

I'm a Thai citizen and my family and I find this hotel the best choice for our Phitsanulok trips.

Breakfast is quite variety with ABF and thai.

The only thing that I didn’t like during my stay is the water from the tap and the shower.

However rooms are basic and hot water does not work, took them about 2 hours to fix.

Location - how to get there - parking - overall setting - overall decoration - old fashioned furnitures that should have been replaced long ago - no western tv channels  despite the huge number of foreign guests- irritating wifi experience ending up in non-communication with outside world - sad bathroom - bad night.

There is no toothbrush provided and if you want it ,you must pay for it. 4.

The bathroom was just terrible having stained toilet and bathtub; the marble seemed unpolished and dirty.

Plenty of very hot water in the bathroom, be a little careful.

The worst part was when we were checking out the reception tried to acuse us of stealing a bath robe from our room, despite the fact our rooms didnt even have bath robes when we checked in.

The bathroom has a real marble countertop and marble is used in the shower.

The bathroom had peeling and blistering paint.

Apparently the hotel has a nightclub and at night all you can hear is thumping music.

Music VERY LOUD can cause damage couldn’t sit through the DJ

At night you will hear some kind of music from the 4th floor.

The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable.

Everything in our room was clean and worked.

The deluxe room was clean and well-presented

In the bar service was non-existent as the staff seemed bessotted by a group of low-life locals and pandered to them while ignoring guests.

Service staff English proficiency is very poor.

but the customer service needs improvement and the bar staff need better training

Next to the hotel is also a shopping center.

With a shopping centre below and convenient to the nearby temples and local thai bars.

The good thing is beside the hotel is a shopping center.

A large shopping center onsite was also a pleasant surprise as I was able to top up on a few items I needed without having to venture too far.

There is also a shopping mall adjacent to this hotel with about 5 floors too!

but enjoyed it rooms good staff as expected friendly there is a reasonable shopping mall attached and enjoyed exploring outside the breakfast was ok but ham in hot water like most of the hotels I stayed in no substitute for bacon

Topland Hotel incorporates a downstairs shopping mall with a good choice of restaurants.

Hotel is link with a shopping mall which is great.

We parked in the large multi-level car park that is part of the hotel and the Thai wife secured a room for the night, two king single beds, breakfast for 1,400 baht.

Ok - my wife is having the conversations in Thai.

Other comments:
Check in staff are good and the process is quick
Bed is very comfortable by Thai standards, not too hard
Room is good size and temperature

Big C shopping centre is 10 - 15 mins walk which has good eating options.

The location is a bit inconvenient if you want to stay several nights in Phitsanulok, because it's quite outside the city centre.

AVA Hotel

We went for a walk around the night market, which wasn’t what we expected as half the stalls appear to be second hand clothes and shoes, interspersed with Thai food stalls, you can buy anything from an albino hedgehog to a fried scorpion snack.

Nice to be in a small town to have a walk round and look at what the locals are eating from the market stalls - didn’t try the scorpions.

It is tucked away on a side street a short walk from a night market.

To the central bus station : it's about 1,3km ; to Nan river, night market and “flying vegetables” less than 1km.

The "pool" which looked OK from a distance was green with algae and the walls a bottom were green a slippery.

We decided against using the pool, as there was feathers and bird mess in the water and what appeared to be a turd on the bottom of the pool and we weren’t prepared to take the risk of finding out if it was the case or not, although the pool does get cleaned early in the morning,

There were weeds everywhere, pavers were tuned over, pot plants fallen over, no where to sit and the pool water was milky with bird faeces and feathers floating in it

The pool area is small & not clean & is not an enjoyable to relax in.

Swimming pool area is rather small and squeezed between a wall and the main building.

Sometimes the bottom door leading to the pool and elevators was open and sometimes it was locked, and you had to walk around or walk up into the reception area.

Negative: pool has little room for guests and towels.
