The Boutique Hotel Tourny is located on a quiet side street in the centre of Bordeaux.

This small boutique hotel is in a quiet street no more than ten minutes’ walk from the centre of Bordeaux old town.

Located in the heart of the city, a breath away from Bordeaux’s landmark, it’s a cousy boutique hotel with clean design rooms, good breakfast and excellent friendly staff.

This is a well-designed boutique hotel located in a great location close to many of the top sites, yet away from the high traffic tourist ghetto in the St. Pierre district.

This is the hotel for anyone who wants boutique 4*, friendly helpful staff, great position, size of rooms not too important (ok size for city centre), minimal front of house facilities

This hotel is the epitome of what boutique hotels should strive to be (imho).

Both room and hallway were dark, could use more overhead lights.

Only window looked out on neighbouring room window, so quite dark.

When first approaching this gem late at night, in a small, dark road, my wife and I were not so sure we made a good choice.

Being lower down there was less natural light and so the room was a little dark during the day.

We booked a superior room and it was very small and dark.

The rooms were dark and insufficiently lighted.

We asked to change room as we found the first floor quite dark and it was no problem to the team who were able to help.

The room is painted in dark grays, has minimal lighting, and looks out on an air shaft.

While all the front desk people were friendly, the real jewel in your hotel is Alexander!

Perfect service… perfect location…large and comfortable room…and a really nice young man at the reception, who was competent an very friendly. There is nothing, which could  be better… thank you very much;-)

The location was excellent, easy to walk or take the tram anywhere in the city.

Just spent 3 nights at the beautifully remodeled Hotel de Tourny, on a quiet side street in the heart of the city center of Bordeaux - minutes from many attractions and the convenient tram.

Downsides were, not very convenient if you are travelling by car - need to drop luggage and block the street, then park car in very tight public car park which is not exactly next door.

My single room was well-apponted, yet a bit tight and caused me to hesitate in awarding the 5 star rating.

however that there are no eggs offered at Breakfast and that single room is a bit of a tight room .

Car Parking locally is tight , beware of local car parks if you have a larger than average car.

There's an elevator(tiny like most in Europe) and a sweet old school spiral staircase(which we took down).

The receptionist explained that we had to take the tiny elevator to the fourth floor, then ascend a small stair case.

I believe it was room 206 which was right across from the elevator and even had a double entry door to cut down on hall noise so it was very quiet.

There is even a little old fashioned lift to get your bags to your room. Quaint.

We were initially concerned because it is directly in front of the elevator.

3 star hotel with a lot of historical French charm, tiny manual elevators, large brass keys and ancient French style bathroom.

The trams are constructed that the gap between the platform is only an inch and is level, so no problem having to lift your luggage.

We had Room 307 right opposite the lifts, which we thought might be a problem with noise.

One can use the wide staircase or the elevator.

The hotel has a small elevator, and a pretty spiral staircase.

To reach the apartment, you need to take the elevator to level 4, then climb up a tiny spiral staircase (if you have heavy luggage, I don't recommend it).

It was a good location and close to the tram and tourist info point (good if you are doing a day trip as this is often pick up/drop off).

This hotel boasts an unsurpassed location - around the corner from the Tourist Information Office, Tram Station, and beautiful riverside restaurants and parks.

'Majestic' as a name is slightly exaggerated for this hotel, located in a rather modest 18th century building.

It’s in a very good location for local transportation, designated Unesco world heritage sites.

Anyway, the room was lovely, the staff couldn't have been more accommodating, and the location was great.

The hotel is reasonably priced, in a great location (less than a 5-minute walk to several trams, the tourist office, the opera and lots of good restaurants), and the room was comfortable.

We chose The Majestic for its location and the fact we could gain access to the rooms quickly (after a sleepless night in emergency accommodation).

The hotel is in a perfect location between the Grand Theatre and Quinconces.

We spent one night here and enjoyed the central location.

We only stayed one night in Hotel Majestic and found the location very central to all the main attractions.

Once again we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel located right in the centre of the city.It is perfect for the Grand Theatre and the upmarket shops in the area known as the golden triangle,and less than 5 minutes on foot to the Place de la Bourse overlooking the river.As always the staff were charming and  made us feel welcome.

We spent a few days in town eating, walking and doing other touristy things.

The Majestic is less than 5 minutes from the tourist office, and less than 10 minutes from the Grand Theatre, the Rue St Catherine and the restaurants on Rue St Remi.

Shops, restaurants, cafes, trams, the cathedral etc are all in easy walking distance.

Extremely clean rooms, good service, helpful staff, quiet street unless sights directly to the Opera and all the landmarks and restaurants around.

We didn't use the breakfast facilities at the hotel as we prefer to people-watch and get the atmosphere of the pavement cafes.

The reception staff were most helpful in suggesting Restaurants, giving directions etc.

The breakfast was an nicely extended version of the usual cafe and croissant.

We chose this accomodation for its location and that generally you have a little more room in an apartment .We were delighted with our choice , from the moment the airport bus dropped us off about 50 yards away to the reception staff who were always excellent and really helpful.

Bus No.1 from the airport stops just across the hotel.

The number one bus from the airport dropped us across the road at a cost of €1.70.

The bus from the airport dropped us off practically next to the hotel and again it was very easy to catch the return bus back at the end of our stay.

From the airport take bus No1 and highlight at Meriadeck bus stop.

We arrived via the No.1 bus from the airport which only cost 1.70 euro each.

It’s easy to reach the hotel from the railway station or the airport on bus N° 1 which runs between the two.

The number 1 bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel after a 40 minute journey for a couple of Euros.

You can get a bus from the airport for 1 € 60 and they explained this to me which made transfers easy and cheap.

Location is ideal for various reasons: history, museums, shopping and transport, we got the no.1 bus from airport and it drops off right across the road & trams are not far for full city access.

Best of all, the #1 bus from the airport (€1.60) stops 50 metres from the front door at stop Gambetta-Mériadeck!

The bus from the airport stops opposite and it is just a few minutes walk from the old town.

This aparthotel is right beside the bus stop for the 1+ airport bus, literally 1 minute from the hotel.

The massive supermarket is 3 minutes around the corner and the bus from the airport stopped outside.

though the airport bus passes right by the door.

The number 1 bus from the airport will leave you right outside the hotel for €1.50 and around 40 minutes drive.

Great location - the line 1+ bus from the airport stops right outside, you can walk to all the main attractions (but get a €4.60 all day public transport ticket) and there is a big supermarket just round the corner.

This hotel was easy to find, there is a bus from the airport which takes approx 40 mins for €1.50 which stops a few minutes walk from the hotel.

but you do save when you catch the local bus that takes you to the airport for 1.50€.

Airport bus line 1 going to gare St Jean will leave you across road about 40 mins and only 1.30 euro.

Good and clean apartment with kitchen  provided.

The room was great with everything you could want for a studio apartment.

We booked a studio apartment which was adequate for our needs.

Also next to the hotel is a shopping mall with a large supermarket, so easy to stock up on breakfast essentials for a 4 night stay, as well as a nice bottle of wine (or two)
