Stayed here for the first time with a colleague and was surprised to find such nice (almost) boutique hotel in such a small city.

The location is quite strategies in city center (intersection main road and Sumatra main road).

A good hotel nearby SKA mall & convention center at Pekanbaru city.

Room spacy for couple, housekeeping need extra attention for bathroom cleanlines,adorable swimming pool at rooftoop, you can have view for part of pekanbaru city, for family trip its recommended.

I have travelled for work to many cities in Indonesia and the quality of the room was great when compared to many of the like starred hotels I have stayed in over the years.

This mall had many branded store and it's really make me feel like I'm in Jakarta or the other Big City.

And city view from the rooftop pool is dreamy 😍

Clean and comfortable room, good wifi, great location next to the mall, the swimming pool is on the rooftop where you can enjoy the city view, the staff was really friendly and the food was great.

This Swissbel is part of a superblock consisting of , hotel and a humongous shopping center in the heart of Sumatera second largest city, Pekanbaru.

Roof top swimming pool is stunning, and has great city view especially in the evening.

there's 2 lift inside, 1 definitely for passenger and the other one mixed with service and fireman lift, don't go to the service-fireman lift, as the door. .

The room is spacious for the price, complete with safe, complimentary water, usual amenities and complimentary toiletries  
The location is very good, walking distance to shopping malls, you are in the heart of the shopping action.

Restaurant wise, great food choise for breakfast with plenty options to pick and all stuff used good covid protocol so i still feel safe eat during my morning routine.

Readers who on diet or in rush in the morning Well,at the day I checked in,I have told the receptionist and they told me that hotel regulation restrict the breakfast to be taken away after 06.00 am (since the breakfast time ready in the restaurant).For this chained hotel,  with this stiff regulation,I really feel regret choosing this hotel.

I'm asking for 1 hour extended check out during my stay as I'm having meeting during lunch time and they're fine with it.

It has a restaurant inside the hotel with a good breakfast buffet.

Strategic hotel beside SKA Mall, with The Biggest Convention Center at Sumatera

Good location just beside shopping mall, warm and helpfull staff (they can inform you some cool place to visit in Pekanbaru), nice and clean room, average breakfast menu, unfortunately the hotel doesn't served wine.

Breakfast delicious with variety of food and especially has jamu corner and I like't.

The room itself was spacious, clean n tidy n has standart 4 star hotel room.

looking forward to stay here with an upgrade room later in the future.

I got a room at the corner, so it has two sides of window which a plus for me.

During a visit to the dumai, I was told that the plane to dumai was delayed/stopped due to smoke and had undergone a schedule change.

My friend who stay in the non smoking room complained that there is smoking smell inside the room.

the sign on bath room near lobby is like children sign DIY, either they have construction going or else i can heard loud bang and no sign of HSE or precautions fo guest as  international hotel does

- my room is like have thin wall i’m stay in 6th floor, I can hear noise of children nagging and crying either across the room or beside my room is quite stressful, the carpet is also quite damp i believe they need to change or either clean it well to restored the original color and odor!

The air from the air conditioner feels stale.

Due to design fault during construction of this property, the flooring in shower is so badly laid out that water does not flow towards the drain and as a result, water remains logged as much as all night or till room is next done up by housekeeping.

We realized when he came back from the kitchen, the box is melted, and it create bad smell.

Spa service available and pretty good rates too.

Sense Spa is just few steps from hotel and we had a great massage before resting for the night.

Price is good for the facilities that you get, they have swimming pools spa and small gym at the top floor.

tried Grand Jatra and Aryaduta before this and chose to stay at Swiss Belinn because its the among the newest chain hotel in PekanBaru.

Next to the hotel there is a reflexology and massage place (average price is around USD 13/hour for massage, USD 7/1.5 hours for reflexology)

With the hospitality from the front door, the reception desk crew, and also the others, i feel like 2nd home already.

The buffet breakfast spread is generous and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful.

If you don't want to be woken up by a loudspeaker between approximately 430 to 445 in the morning and lasting up to 30 minutes, ask for a room on the shopping side of the building.

The walls between the rooms are not very good because the noise from the next room is quite clear.

but the AC is rather hot at night and the fan makes a little bit sounds.

although the traffic might be a little bit congested, especially during weekend.

* you can hear the street noise if your room is facing the street (like mine) or the call of prayer in the morning.

And the round so noisy we can heard all the people activities like taking a shower, the flash of the toilet, the sound of hairdryer, people talking.

~from 5.15am the water pipes in my rooms kept running loudly so it was kinda hard to fall back to sleep
~didn't see the 2 complimentary water bottles on top of the minibar which looked hidden from view looking from the bed

The foods are great and even though its main course is spicy

The restaurant interior is quite interesting, lots of sofas.

This hotel is very warm, cozy and comfortables place to visit and sleep, i feel so comfort, the hospitality is very good, the food amd the restaurant ambience was very nice, surely will come again when i back to pekanbaru.

This property is 30 min form the airport, located next to a shopping mall: nice lobby, very comfortable and clean rooms with satellite TV and a nice bathroom with glass partition.

a litle bit crowded outside of the hotel especially at holiday because very close to the shopping mall..

And the hotel was strategically located between two shopping malls, made me easier to find alrernative dining place.

novotel hotel pekan baru have a good location close to shopping mall and 30 minute to airport.

Its also across the street from a good shopping mall!

Location wise was very convenience as there were 2 shopping malls, Ciputra Mall was just next to the hotel and  Sadira Plaza just right opposite the hotel.

I left my perfume (dior) in the room and the staff insists that nothing was found.

The bath towel still has cigarette smell.

My past experience the smoking room smells strong of cigarette smoke. For someone who never smoked in his life (like me!)

Hotel was full when we arrived and they were not able to give us our non smoking room.

The smell didn't reach out to the bead room area.

Since i entered the room so smelly of toilet that came out.

Despite that, check in staff were not too friendly, and the toilet smell came up in the room.

but the water in bathroom  a little bit smelly at night.
