Bangla road is just 4-5 minutes away with a tuk tuk ride.

The hotel is well situated, close to the Patong bitch, bangla road with AMAZING pool with a bar (drinking & eating)  on the rooftop with wonderful view to the city ❤️  Super comfy beds in the room👌 The staff is super nice 😍 IMHO price is really cheap for this standard. Recommend!

It is 4/5 minutes walk away from the main strip road (so about 10 from Bangla Road) 2 minutes from a 7/11 shop and just next door there is a coffee smoothie shop and a chemist.

Good location from Bangla road about 10-15 minute walk away from the madness.

Only about 1km from all the usual attractions,  Jungceylon shopping centre, Patong beach and Bangla Road.

Hotel is close to patong and Bangla road.

Walking distance to bangla road and patong beach approximately 12 minutes walk.

Good Indian restaurant are also available at the Bangla road.

but unfortunately they are rock hard and that was the charging for pillows policy detracted from my rating and writing this review.

The front desk charged us 1500 bhat for airport transfer while the regular price is 800 bhat.

They’ve told us we have to pay to cancel, advised me to wait to a later date, so I lose my money all together and then want to charge me extra,

You should make a system using room cards or something to stop this.

I lost 2 key rooms and they charged me 600 baht for 2.

Upon checkout we were informed we would be charged as there was a T Spoon missing from our room.

Amazing hotel with Nice room.Rooftop Pool is awesome and best part of this hotel,I have never seen such beautiful pool till date .Breakfast is also Nice.Only thing which was not liked -Charges for loss of key are too high and Road facing rooms should have sound proof glass as it was too noisy which was very disturbing at night .

There are beers, sodas, nuts and sunblock as well with charges of course.

though I had left my credit card as a deposit I was told that we couldn't leave the hotel until the room had been checked so were again asked to sit at reception until someone checked the room.

The local fruit Durian is not allowed to be brought inside the room, else they charge a hefty cleaning fee..that is justified due to the strong smell of that fruit.

PS : They charges 1000 baht as joiner fee.

If you need even an empty bowl from hotel they charge you 100-200 THB.

but they charged us for them (they we're only 20 baht which is $0.62 USD, so I didn't complain, and also may have misunderstood her.)

although I'm not sure if this is included in the rate or charged additionally.

Ultimately our flights got cancelled coming home so we had to find somewhere for an extra 4 nights so I am glad that they wanted to charge stupid rates,otherwise we may have made the mistake of extending our stay.

In the wash basin water was very dirty which you can not use for anything and we had to use our drinking water for the same which was charged.

but have less noise
- THEY CHARGE FOR KIDS BREAKFAST.

If you have an additional guest  it will cost 1000 baht charge each night.

The staff members martin and JR were extremely friendly.

To finish i would really like to thank all the staff very nice very friendly and helpful and a special thanks to J.R. Will definetly come back.

When you first enter the hotel, you are greeted by very friendly faces.

Food and drinks were reasonably priced and the staff at the bar and pool area were very friendly and attentive, in direct contrast to the front desk staff who appeared rather indifferent and disinterested.

On our last day we went up to the pool and it was really nice, lovely furniture and the staff up there were nice and friendly and the food was also really nice.

please keep away from the travel agent in the reception, I know it does not belong to the hotel she only rents their office from the hotel.

The Marina Phuket Hotel is located a few blocks back from the beach at the Northwest end of Patong.

We had no issues at all with the location as it's a short walk to the nearby beach/main areas and our two year old Ivy has made cherished memories.

but less than a 4 star, although hotel is really good location wise and everything but there are some issues which can be sorted.

This hotel is great for visiting.. best in the area.. all the best locations are nearby.

There’s a good gym located on the 9th floor which my partner used daily.

Location is pretty good with a few decent eating places close by.

The rooms, location and staff were really good.

The pool deck is superb, the staff was always smily and the location is perfect.

The hotel is at a great location, the beach is situated extremely close by.

Other guests could be noisy sometimes - as each floor must have about 30-40 rooms.

The walls are thin and you can hear everything people say from inside your room from people in the hallways as they coming back to the rooms at all hours of the night.

but the aircon was somewhat noisy but still manageable.

And the door leading to the balcony has a good seal hence it wont get too noisy.

But be careful with the room side - street is pretty noisy.

Hotel is on a very busy main road and it was NOISY morning and night.

but due to the quiet season, this did not bother me much.

The aircon system sounded like it was going to explode one night and kept us awake all night , the shower,

but they sounded Thai a few times in the morning woke me up talking loudly from a distance.

but far enough away to be quiet in this very busy and otherwise noisy town.

The room was facing onto the Main Street and you could hear everything through the glass.

The only problems with the room were: very firm mattress, the shower over the bath design means water from the shower leaks onto the floor under the glass screen, the balcony door isn't sound proof so noise from the market, road below is continuous.

Upon check in the receptionist spent the whole time on the phone while taking our passports etc 

The hotel is located on a very busy road so the noise of motor bikes can be heard late into the night.

Obviously, you are in the middle of it - so if you're a light sleeper and want to sleep before dawn earplugs would be a good idea.

It is right opposite the night market on the main road, can be a little noisy at night.

And only a cheap taxi ride to any Phuket landmarks.

Close enough walk to the beach and a grab ride (more expensive than most places) to Bangla road.

The room smelt like BO as the pillows smelt they had been slept on by a smelly person and not washed.

but we then asked for someone to change our bed as it smelt like someone had already slept in it but no one turned up to change the bed.

Didn’t have one good nights sleep there, breakfast was garbage, I’ve stayed in Patong 6 times and this is the worst hotel I’ve been in, full of Indian travellers, the only good point is the pool

but the music was so loud and full on I couldn't chill and relax- might be an age thing 😉 I would stay here again though as it's a bit quieter than being in the centre of all the action as I love a good nights sleep.

It seemed that the room had no voice isolation what so ever - the street voices were so loud (even at the 7th floor) that it was as little difficult to get sleep and mornings turned out to start really early.

Also, the rooms facing the road are a bit noisy, and I believe if they would have thicker windows that could solve this problem and provide a better quality sleep, it was hard to sleep until we get used to the noise.

Unfortunately, our room was facing the street : we had to buy earplugs on the second night since we didn’t sleep at all the first night.

Once you got use to the blaring tunes you could sleep

i probably would not stay here again as i really need good night sleeps.

but unfortunately you won’t get any sleep at night because the noise from the road below pierces right through the hotel walls and windows and straight into your head.

If sleep is an issue recommend the back facing room.

I would say if your on a very tight budget and want something just to come back to sleep in.

however ifyour room faces the road or market stall, ask for earplugs or if it’s available ask to change your room if you want to sleep -cars and numerous motorbikes are active and very very very loud till dawn.

although we were on the 5th floor it was SOOO loud, we really struggled to sleep because you could hear everything that was driving past and the place opposite often played loud music!

Rooms are far to loud it feels like you are sleeping next to the road on the street,

However, the window noise insulation could be better as every evening right to the morning, loud music thumping somewhere permeated the room making light sleepers challenging to get into deep sleep.

So the only way is to wear ear plugs if you want to sleep.

Hospitality and breakfast is very good rooms r clean and staff is very good hotel view is fav .hotel is in middle place so there is not any expense for go here and there so so we can save our time and money also

The rooms were very beautiful and the food was awesome I really like the staff at the front desk and the ppl who did housekeeping for us  and I liked bruno and jennie ans also Olivia were the sweetest

Gina from the reception was very nice and helpful.

We received the most amazing service from the front desk staff especially Olivia Chris Martin Bruno The food at the Marine restaurant very delicious.

Everything was perfect, the staff was very helpful and polite.

It was an amazing stay with the all Great helpfull staff specially at the reception Mr. Bryan (is a star) along with the F&B Manager Mr. Tong who were helpful and always checking with us on our stay.

Although we loved all these things, it was the staff that made it special.

There is an excellent kids club and brilliant pools for small and older kids.

Also if you are staying in apartment you can take breakfast in Bodega and Grill restaurant which is smaller and looks more comfortable like club lounge in some of other hotels.

The kids club is the best and all staff took the best care of our baby daughter.

Enjoyed the spa service and kids club activities.

though the kids club was being renovated, the team were engaging and made it fun.

Amazing pools ,large kids club , pool fun stuff , pool artificial beach , free kayak and paddle boat, all sort of nice activities , restaurants , amazing breakfasts, large rooms , beach and more.

I do recommend to stay in the Angsana Laguna Holiday Club Phuket Resort.

The staff everywhere were wonderful and in the club were so lovely with our daughter it was touching.

Maybe the hotel should re-think their age rating for the Kid’s Club, as it really isn’t anything great for anyone over the age of 7-8.

Our full board package allowed us to eat at three different restaurants, the XA NA Club & Pool Side Bar.

We stayed in angsana laguna with my 2 small kids ,it's at bantao Beach it's better if you have a car so you can roam around easily as patong area is 30mins far,a shuttle also goes it's for 100 bhat per person 
Angsana has 2 swimming pools ,a beach ,kids club and a very good breakfast ,you can also take a free boat ride in the laguna area .

Angsana is great for family visit especially if you travel with kids as they have a huge kids club.

We had such a great time at Laguna Holiday Club.

The kids club and programs were the highlight of our stay.

Room was spacious, good range of facilities, restaurant with good food and above all, the kids club and a really long stretch of swimming pool which my boy enjoyed a lot.

We had a great Birthday dinner at Azura they even sing a birthday song for me and an afternoon meal at Xana beach club.

My phuket layover was one of the best mainly because of the service provided by the staff in Laguna Holiday Club.

If you are looking for something more exiting, XANA beach club and dinner at Atoll is the way to go.

Great family hotel with lots to do for families, staff are lovely and go out of their way to make sure you have a great holiday.

Superman & the rest of the pool staff couldn’t do anymore than they did for us as a family.

This is a great family resort, located right on Bang Thoa beach and a 20 min walk from the town of Cherngtaly.

Revamped f&b outlets incl the new Xana bar and dining on the beach are a very pleasant surprise given my family has spent numerous December long weekends here.

The Bed was super comfortable, staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful and the service at Market Place every morning - June and Rin made it feel like we were family and they were excited to see us every morning!

Will recommend especially for families looking for fuss free stays

Families will love it too as part of property is attuned to their needs.

Definitely recommend bringing family here or even couples for a holiday.

Me and my family (wife and 2 kids 5 and 7 years old) were truly happy here.

Phusin kick boxing lesson was excellent for our kids, they all had a fantastic time and learnt a lot.

They’re very attentive throughout the day from changing towels to handing out fruit kebabs and playing water polo, getting all children involved.

My son had a mosquito bite that swelled up one morning and June's team helped get him ice during breakfast to alleviate swelling.

he told me his name is (i’m not sure how to spell it) yetizack, he hosts muay thai lessons for kids and adults, he encourages people to play water polo, he joins in on the activities, and is there every morning by the pool to greet you and say good morning.

Market place gave us the most incredible experience Rin, Mali, Beam, Jun, Nan, June, Min,Tawan are some of the kindest people we had the pleasure of meeting we traveled with a 8month old and a 5 year old and they were so loving to our children.

I had a 14 month old daughter and they took her in like one of their own.

We enjoyed our 8 days, lots to do for the kids around the hotel.

Playground always highly welcomed by kids.

Shoutout to Boy and June for going above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and memorable.

I'll be back again and together with my children surely.

The reception area was really hot with no air conditioning and the poor staff in their uniforms had mini fans to cool themselves down.

but what a shame the maintenance of the property is a very poor state.

Anyone trying to read a book is likely to get eye strain because of the poor light levels.

The breakfast was very crowded and noisy and reminded me of a poor school canteen.

(Sorry to the poor sod who had to take our initial room at the end of the hotel's internal peninsula).

but this was a shocking poor vacation for us.

The breakfast buffet was also poor, being very stuffy and crowded.

but nothing special and the quality of juices is poor.

Poor choice , poor food .five star hotel whose “best” restaurant is little above a poolside  cafe ,where people eat their evening meals in their bathers.

The reception, restaurants, breakfast were all really poor.

There is very poor insulation meaning that you hear every conversation from outside your room within in.

Very poor breakfast, not many options available.

General maintenance of gardens, pool and buildings of very poor standard, not even at three star level.
