 - The hotel forbids eating in the rooms which is unreasonable as many travelers are often tired and weary after walking around the beautiful streets of Paris all day.

 - We slept with our window open each night and the area is so quiet and yet Rue Cler is such a bustling street with some shops and restaurants.
 - In addition, this hotel is at one end of Rue Cler, which has two blocks of stores, restaurants, wine shops, etc.
 - The location is fantastic - Rue Cler has lots of little shops and cafés, and the hotel is within walking distance of most places, with the metro just a few minutes walk away.

 - It's just about impossible to imagine a more charming, hospitable and perfect place to stay in Paris.

 - Really close to the metro and short distance from the eiffel tower.
 - Is close to Louvre, Eiffel Tower, walking distance, aprox 20 min.
 - The breakfast was tasty and it is a great location to many sites including walking distance to the Eiffel Tower.
 - We walk slo and it took us about 20 minutes to reach Eiffel Tower from the hotel.

 - It's located in the 7th and easily accessible from Opera Metro in the centre of Paris - a 10 min metro ride to Ecole Militaire and from there a 5 min walk to the hotel.

 - Water pressure wasn’t good for shower and air conditioning was making water noise all night long.
 - We turned the fan to the highest and we couldn’t feel anything unless we put our hands a inch from the fan.
 - The second disappointing point was the thermostat controller, I guess it was broke because I could not adjust the room temperature during my stay (room was stuffy).
 - So we had to spend the night there (angry and freezing) and to wait next morning to complain.

 - Hotel Motte Picquet is in a great location, right around the corner is the Rue Cler market that offers a bunch of places to eat and a nice place to take a stroll.
 - Around the corner is the most charming street with lovely shops, bakeries, flower markets.
 - Love the decor of the rooms and the location is great being on the corner of rue cler (pedestrian street) and walking distance to many popular sites, cafes, market, and the metro.
 - Rue Cler is the famous market street and has several great cafes and numerous restaurants within a short walking distance.

 - I probably would recommend not spending extra on the hotel breakfast and instead grabbing a pastry from a nearby shop.
 - I think one of the reasons it took me so long to shake off the jet lag this time was simply because I was spending a lot of the night trying to cool off.
 - however was that one night was double charged to credit card, a first even for me as a very seasoned traveller, and required intervention and numerous emails to finally get the money reimbursed, disappointing.

 - A free glass of champagne upon arrival at the hotel was a delightful extra.
 - We wanted to go on a tour of Champagne, the concierge was able to take care of it all, including arranging a fun, English speaking guide.
 - Cléo, the onsite restaurant, is delicious with a variety of food, wine and champagne offerings.
