although there is construction across the street, that can be noticed at times.

Across the Place, there was construction of a new multi-story building, so noise was a problem between around 8am to 5pm approx.

There was construction going on, so the small square facing the hotel was quite noisy at times.

The bedroom overlooked the opera area which is sadly under construction on the lower level

One thing it was not good is the front of the hotel(^_^;)It was middle of construction

but had wished they warned us about the construction.

The nearest metro station (Richelieu Drouot) was closed for construction,

The issue that compromised our stay was the construction.

My only complaint was that there was some hideous construction going on nearby that woke everyone up at 8 am with earth shattering crashing,

It's a rare thing, so imagine how disappointing it was on our 2 night stay in Paris, one of the few times we might have actually been able to sleep past 6:30am, to be woken up at 8am sharp by loud construction.

There was some construction going on out in front of the hotel during our visit, which made for a less than spectacular building facade and entrance,

but the sidewalk is still cut up, so I suspect there may be follow-on construction at a later date.

Would have been very quiet if not for the noise of road construction -no fault of hotel!

It spoilt breakfast having a pneumatic drill about 2 foot away from you and the noise was deafening.

I loved that they kept the original ceiling wool construction and just painted to match the interior.

There was some construction noise in the morning from an adjacent building and they play music in the hallways almost 24 hours a day it seemed.

I had a super comfortable bed, a luxurious bath tub, impeccable & friendly service, tasty breakfast, beautiful interior decor throughout the hotel, with a fabulous location to explore Paris.

Fantastic little boutique French hotel with a great location, Louve museum 15 mins, ritz 18 mins and Eiffel Tower 45 mins all by foot plenty of restaurants around the hotel for food also

This is a truly charming and intimate little hotel located not far from the famous Paris Opera House.

The location was perfect for us and we could not have asked for better service.

Location is excellent and quiet yet just minutes walk from cool bars and restaurants.

The location is very good, and the hotel is tucked back in a relatively quiet part of it, which was nice.

Maison Favart is in fantastic location easily walkable to the Opera and Galeries Lafayettte and so many fantastic restaurants close by.

Our two families stayed 5 nights at La Maison Favart in Paris, next to Opera Comique, walking distance to many sites in the center of Paris, such as Louvre or Place de la Concorde.

Slap bang in the middle of Paris - we walked to the Louvre, Place de La Concorde, L’Opera and in heels no less !!

This hotel is situated in a quiet central area and you can easily get to many places without public transport or taxi: Place de la Concorde and Champs-Elysees Avenue are in 15-20 minute walk, Notre Dame de Paris and Louvre are in 30 minute and Monmartre – within 25.

Thank goodness we arrived at this comfortable hotel two blocks east of L' Opera and near the Louvre and Place de la Concorde ( 5 mins by Metro ) we loved this neighborhood and all the theatrical themes which define each suite.

Also an easy 20 minutes walk to the Louvre, or place de la Concorde.

The hotel is an good location, you can walk to the big department stores in 5 mins, the Place de la Concorde in about 15.

The hotel is well placed to walk up to Montmartre (about a 15 or 20 minute walk to Sacre Coeur) and a similar walk to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, etc.

Close to several metro stops 2-5 mins max allowing us to easily visit Place de la Concorde, Tour Eiffel, Champs-Élysées and Sacré-Cœur/Montmartre at a leisurely pace and still have time to relax in the hotel.

Walkable to Place de la Concorde, the Tuilerie gardens, the Louvre and the bottom end of the Champs Elysee and there are 3 Metro stations in easy reach.

The rooms and lobby of the hotel are very nicely decorated.

Very cozy, the employees were very nice with the customers and the rooms were top notch.

The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast fresh and plentiful, and the whole family enjoyed the pool and spa facilities, especially the water massage bed!

Room was clean and quiet with a great view of the opera.

The rooms were beautiful and quaint and the hotel had all the amenities you could desire.

The fridge was well stocked and the coffee in the room was yummy.

We enjoyed staying here on our family trip to Paris (two kids, parents & grandma - we had three rooms in total).

When we arrived back later that evening our luggage was in our room which was wonderful.

Upon arrival we’d already been upgraded to the Chantilly Suite, which has both a spacious living room and bedroom and was beautifully decorated.

Our room was spotless, and we had amazing water pressure in the shower!

Room décor was very very good and tastefully executed.

Our room was comfortable, with a view over a quiet square.

Cons were that two of our rooms were quite small, the lift could be slow to arrive, and there was some kind of strong perfume in the lobby most days.

although rooms are a little small, the facilities and team are amazing.

The room was small and the balcony view was the wall of another building, so we didn’t use it.

I will say the rooms are a bit small by American standards,

As the floor space in the room is compromised by the main stairwell, we did find the shower room particularly small so perhaps ask for another room if space is an issue.

The fitness room is very basic - no hand weights, the room was on the small side and the air con wasn't up to much, so we wouldn't recommend staying there in the height of summer.

Our room was very small and definitely did not have a King size bed as advertised for all rooms.

but I we picked a small room since we were moving around town.

That being said, the room was very small, barely holding a queen side bed.

Rooms are small (typical for Paris hotels in my experience)

Beautiful bouquet hotel in the centre of Paris, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff was five stars plus - they were all so nice and helpful (front desk, bellman, housekeeping, breakfast staff).

The concierge took our luggage and offered us a latte.

Front of House staff couldn't be more helpful especially with directions and great restaurants !

The entire staff was professional and welcoming.

Fifteen minutes walk down to the Louvre and many good restaurants close by.

From the moment we walked into the lobby we felt at home.

It is perfectly located, half an hours walk to the Sacre Coeur to the north and half an hours walk to the tuileries the river and the louvre to the south.

It’s easy to walk to many attractions from this location.

From the moment we walked in, Maison Favart felt like our own pied-à-terre.

location works well for walking in all directions and the metro is on the doorstep.

Beautiful hotel, well located for all the sights in Paris with most within a 25 minute walk.. we were upgraded to the suite on arrival (room 14) which was beautiful.

Louvre is only 15 mins walk away 

We arrived early afternoon and our room was ready.

But it’s in a location that is about a 20 min walk from the Louvre and many things.

Easy to locate and one minute walk to the metro which made travelling in Paris very easy.

30 mins walk from Gare de Nord, in fact this place is located very central to anywhere .

Walk up to Sacre Ceur or down to Notre-Dame.

We walked form the train station to the hotel, and everything we wanted to see was either in walking distance, or close to a public transport stop.

La Maison Favart is located between the 2nd and 9th ar​ron​disse​ment, a mere 15 min walk from the Louvre.

5 minutes walking to Gallerie Lafayette and so many shops and restaurants.

The location was central and we were able to walk to all the sights. Excellent!

Book the spa with the pool, sauna and massage table - great after a long day of walking.

However jam dispensers constantly empty, pancakes and waffles cold and the breakfast room itself freezing!

Negatives
Main big problem in Paris heat- no refrigerated air conditioning, they only have evaporated air conditioning.

The air con could have done with being turned up a notch in the hot weather.

We were besieged with electrical issues due to a faulty iron…twice it blew all the power points on two separate days….ultimately fixed after a couple of requests.

As regards the rest of the hotel, the service at the reception desk was poor in respect that we had explained the air conditioning issue to one of the receptionists who was going to fix the matter whilst we were out.

The website, app, and every document related to this hotel reservation indicated A/C would be available.

The air conditioning wasn't working the room was sooo hot!couldn't open windows because of noise.

The air conditioner struggled to keep up with the warm summer days in Paris, so sleeping was a bit sticky,

Stuff tells me that "AC is the same in all rooms".

The night before we left they offered us to change rooms, providing not feedback on the AC.

On the first night we arrived the air conditioning wasn't working satisfactorily, we reported this to reception and the next day they said they had changed the filter and it was (very slightly) better,

After 3 nights of waking up drenched in my own sweat and having considered all options (virus, aircon, stress, etc) I finally checked the bed and realised Novotel, a 4 star hotel, uses plastified matrass covers right under the bed sheet.

No portable heater available even I requested for one.

This could be such a good hotel if it would only do something about it's heating system!

Even so, we had only one outlet that was working in the whole unit.

For a 4 star hotel, the a/c definitely wasn't up to scratch and the breakfast was a mess - they could arrange two areas especially during high season.

The only complaint I might have was the air conditioning was not too powerful

They came to check the a/c and they said that it would not get colder.

The location is wonderful, in the center and just next to a main metro station.

The metro station is opposite the main entrance and if you're arriving in Paris by Eurostar it's just one stop on an RER D or B train from Gare du Nord.

Metro stations were right outside the hotel, and tons of restaurants were nearby.

the location was perfect for us, with a metro station right outside the door and just a 10 min walk from Notre Dame.

Metro station is right in front, Le Louvre is a 10 minute walk, so is Notre Dam.

Friendly staff, awesome breakfast & perfectly located near a major metro station with great connectivity across and outside of Paris.

We were steps from the metro station at Châtelet-Les Halles.

Metro station just a few feet away, easily walkable to the Louvre.

On the plus side: 
Great location - Châtelet metro station is right outside the hotel and so using public transport is super easy.

The metro station is literally 50 metres away to get everywhere around Paris.

but I would preferred to have a refrigerator, the hotel is well managed and clean the service was great, the hotel is close to all attractions, lots of restaurants and bars in the area, Metro station almost in the hotel, shopping center just behind the hotel and lots of other stores, overall very satisfied

The location is perfect right on Shatlet metro station, plenty of great restaurants and patisserie.

We stayed at Novotel Les Halles for 3 nights, excellent location, 1 minute walk from a very well-connected central train and metro station, Chatelete station.

Just outside the hotel there is the main station that most of metro lines interchange

The location is very central, close to a metro station, close to great shops, bakeries and restaurants.

Few steps from the huge train and metro station.

Besides that, the metro station Les Halles is one of the main one, so lots of lines stop at it, including the one to CDG.

10 steps from a major train and metro station so very quick to and from the airport.

The hotel is at a very convenient location just right beside the metro station.

But the worse was a fire drill that launched the alarms at 120db and where we were instructed by hotel personnel to stay in our room for several minutes.

Cons: 
in the middle of construction - loud construction noises/banging/drilling starting 10am everyday for the entire 6 days we stayed.

Negatives:
1) Currently, there are some road constructions going on, so hard to get Uber to come by.

There was some construction on the streets and some roads were closed so maybe that's the reason why the driver couldn't get any closer or maybe he didn't know the right way.

Hopefully all this construction work will be done soon and this will no longer be an issue.

Someone wrote about some metro construction, it´s all done now, and you can acces the metro-rer-station right on the front door of the hotel (exit Porte m. de Navarre).

NB, there is no place for taxi to come  near to the hotel due to the construction going on  (No problem for the noise).

The only disappointments were the slow check in and the noisy construction work outside,

The only inconvenience was getting to the hotel by taxi due to the construction work which is almost complete.

We found out that the construction has been ongoing for about a year.

There is still construction out the front of the hotel

Only downside is that it's under construction, so taxi cannot take you to front.

The construction around the hotel, which was a bit of a bummer, will be done by September.

The location's construction problem was not so bad because we didn't have massive suitcases.

The construction (for a metro station entrance/exit) in front of the hotel is almost over and should make it even better connected with the metro lines.

The roads surrounding the hotel are under construction which makes UBER and TAXI drop offs a little difficult

Location is very central, walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame, Metro (Les Halles) and the only issue is that because of the construction to Les Halles, taxis couldn't drop us at the hotel

but only after construction is fully completed.

Ps - on the Monday visit to Disney, it was our daughters 6th birthday.

Our girls loved the free ice cream in the afternoon!

We came as a family of 4 (2 kids age 7 and 10), and we had 2 connecting rooms.

We were there for  mother daughter birthday trip.

We were visiting with our son, daughter-in-law & our first grandson.

I am travelling with my teens so there are 4 of us.

Good room size, perfect for a family of two adults and two children to relax.

Sometimes they were handing out free ice cream cones in the middle of the afternoon, which my kids loved.

I came here with my two boys and I HAD REALLY GOOD TIME with my kids here.

The room which had a comfortable double for my husband and I plus a sofa bed for our daughter was excellent.

The WC near the hotel restaurants has a cutely set up, and there is also a childrens area which we thought was a thoughtful touch.

Kabira and Lucille helped us a lot to accommodate our need for room type 
Worked fast and with integrity really superb job 
Not to forget very cooperative bell boys always available and super polite 
Breakfast free for kids and quality of breakfast was amazing 
You can make your own fresh fruit juice here first time for me

Our young adult children enjoyed the junior suite.

We had two kids (4 & 6) who really enjoyed the kids room.

The we made a note on our reservations that we had 2 children traveling with us and the staff decorated the room with balloons and provided coloring pages and color pencils for the kids.

Inside there was even a separate play space for young children!

My granddaughter and I met in Paris for a long weekend and completely enjoyed our stay at Novotel Paris Les Halles.

It has a large variety to choose from everything were delicious and the price seems to be a bargain as kid have breakfast for free.

Executive room with Queen size and sofà for two teens was nice and comfortable.

Our room has all modern conveniences and is totally satisfactory.

I made a few crepes and the environment in the breakfast room was modern and sleek.

The hotel was extremely clean with lovely modern décor throughout.

The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean.

but it's clean, modern and it works and looks out for its guests - you are made to feel you matter and they try.

Very well placed on the center of Paris this hotel brought us a very pleasant experience, modern, well decorated, and with amazing breakfasts and dinners.

Impeccable service, great location, beautiful internal court and committed staff (thank you Vincent for all your support) :-) The conference facilities are modern, elegant and the delegate packages and buffet restaurant met all our expectations.

Rooms are very tidy and modern to Paris standards.

Our executive and superior rooms were just perfect for us - spacious, clean, modern and the beds are very comfortable.

The bathrooms are modern and overhead waterfall-type shower heads are a nice touch after a day of Paris sites.

We love walking and spent the time wandering around Place De La Concorde, up to the Arc De Triomphe and down to the Eiffel Tower - approx 12kms round trip.

Within a few minutes walk of the hotel is the Louvre and we walked a straight line down from there through Place de la Concorde, Jardin des Tuileries, Champs Elysees and Eiffel Tower all on foot with the kids.

From the hotel i would strongly suggest walking to the 'Champs Elysees' along the Rue de rivoli, then turing left at the Place de la Concorde (where the Champs Elysees begins, this will give you a good taste of the city and some of the most amazing buildings/sites are on the way, (the Louvre, the Grand Palais, Petit Palis and Théâtre Marigny).

It is built at the meeting points of six or seven roads and thus there is a straight line walk to the Seine at Pont Neuf, Notre Dame, the Louvre etc.
