Stayed at Contemporary last year and Boardwalk's vibe is so much more pleasant; less chaotic and visually quite lovely.

but there are several good choices on the boardwalk.

The theming is amazing and the boardwalk is so much fun.

The public areas are kept clean and the boardwalk itself is a pleasant location.

Won’t return to Boardwalk, which is so sad because it has always been our favorite.

We were thrilled to get a corner room with a balcony on the boardwalk overlooking the lake.

However the Boardwalk is all based around a public promenade and as such all the facilities are outside and a fair walk from rooms.

As a longtime Disney fan, I was excited to stay at the Boardwalk and experience all the amenities and activities promised in the package.

We could see an obstructed view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the boardwalk.

This hotel has a plethora of food options in walking distance, tons of transportation, shops for souvenirs, multiple options of entertainment outside of the park with a gorgeous boardwalk view at night and during sunset.

The hotel itself is located on the fantastic Boardwalk, which is lively, family friendly and a perfect location for Epcot, it’s great to wander over to the world showcase and soak up the atmosphere at night.

The boardwalk right outside the hotel provided plenty of take-out options and the boat transportation was excellent - including for one member of our party with a scooter.

It is a nice replication of a boardwalk, easy to navigate, interesting architecture and fond memories of boardwalk "noise" - people, music.

The Boardwalk has been our home (DVC) since 2000 and we love it.

but Beach Club is closer to Epcot, has the best pool on property, has restaurants inside the hotel, a better lobby and better theming so I would stay there over Boardwalk any day.

but there are good restaurants on the boardwalk and we found the small Bellevue lounge perfectly good for breakfast.

The boardwalk is always beautiful to walk around and explore during the day and night, and the staff was very helpful and kind.

I would also go the the Boardwalk Bakery and get a gluten free chocolate chip muffin so my daughter and I had something to eat as well.

Using electric scooter to go from Boardwalk to EPCOT was a breeze!

We enjoyed seeing the fireworks from our porch with a water view, going to the pool for kids’ games and the slide for our daughter, and the lively atmosphere in the evening on the Boardwalk.

You can catch the boat, get the bus, get the sky rail and ACTUALLY use your legs and walk (5 mins Epcot, 10 mins Hollywood studios).

It is at Epcot’s backdoor and is a short walk or boat ride away.

Loved the proximity to Epcot can be walked in 5 mins and Hollywood studios a 10 min boat trip.

You can also see fireworks from the boat ride at night.

Both parks are only a short walk or boat ride away.

Finally, the boat service to Epcot and Hollywood is excellent.

In addition, bus transit to Magic and Animal Kingdoms was far faster than expected (about 15 minutes on bus) and Skyliner access at Epcot to HS and other resorts AND boat transport to HS and Epcot makes the resort exceptionally convenient to all parks.

The accomodations are excellent, the boardwalk is great and it's an easy walk or boat ride to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Sequestered on a man made lake with open air boats and a host of restaurants, the boardwalk resort offers it all.

We did take the boat one time and it was a fun ride

It is walking distance to the back entrance of Epcot, you take a boat to Hollywood Studios (or you can walk there) and there is the bus routes to all the resorts.

Location to Epcot is very good, and there’s boat transportation to Epcot.

The proximity to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot allowed us to walk to both parks and get in line ahead of the buses and boats.

Great location for travel to parks by bus and boat.

There is a sign that says a boat will arrive 10-20 minutes after the previous boat waiting for 1 late boat or bus okay fine

We are here at the really nice Boardwalk Inn on the Disney Boardwalk and the rooms a nice, not many King rooms, the real issue is the luggage service.

We are repeat Disney Boardwalk vacationers and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Disney's BoardWalk Inn features a charming working Boardwalk entertainment district complete with restaurants, night-time entertainment, and recreation.

We had a wonderful stay at Disney's Boardwalk Inn.

My wife and I stayed at this fantastic hotel - a part of the Disney Boardwalk and a short walk from EPCOT and a quick boat trip to Hollywood Studios - and we had a fantastic time.

If you are looking for a family friendly vacation destination that has something for all ages, I highly recommend a stay at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Suites.

You really can't go wrong choosing Disney's BoardWalk Inn for your Disney stay.

It’s walkable to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios (5 to 10 min) while the Disney Boardwalk area provides welcome relief from the theme park crowds.

Located right on the disney's boardwalk and a five minute walk to epcot and a 5 min boat ride to disney hollywood studios they location really is key.

but the Disney Boardwalk Inn is in a good location within walking distance to Epcot and bus transportation to Magic Kingdom and other Disney Parks.

We recently stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I spent 2 wonderful nights here at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Disney's Boardwalk area is the most beautiful collection of resorts surrounding a lake with about a mile long wooden Boardwalk that connects Boardwalk, beach club, yacht club, and swan & dolphin resorts.

Great hotel, just feel Disney need to address pricing as the CEO admitted recently.

If you are an Epcot lover like we are then this is the perfect hotel for you!

It's quiet, less crowded, and closer to both EPCOT & Hollywood Studios.

It’s also very convenient for Epcot and Hollywood studios.

If you are interested in eating and drinking your way around EPCOT then the location is perfect

We used the skyliner to get from Hollywood Studios to Epcot/walk to resort.

Disney World's resorts all have great attributes, the number one being the amount of time one saves getting to the parks.

This resort was the best part of our recent Disney trip.

One bus dedicated to the Inn so no extra stop overs, 10 minute ride to the Magic Kingdom.

The location is brilliant, we enjoyed being able to walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The location of this resort is perfect for Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

I love the location as it’s just steps away from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

So if you want the best location for Epcot/Hollywod this is great place.

The big upside is the proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studio's

PROS:  Proximity to Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

It’s so close to Epcot - about a 10-15 min walk and Hollywood Studios is about a 15-20 minute walk.

The Good:

-Excellent location within walking distance of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Your are close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios .

The location, within easy walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios, cannot be beat. 2.

When looking for a hotel near Disney Hollywood Studios and Epcot, the Boardwalk Inn was right in-between.

For us, the highlights of our experience included the La Trattoria Italian Restaurant, Jelly Rolls Piano Bar, proximity to Epcot and the variety of pools.

We enjoy staying in the EPCOT hotel area due to the close proximity to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

It is walking distance to both EPCOT and Hollywood studios(you can take the skyline from EPCOT/Boardwalk gateway to Hollywood Studios) or you can take the boat.

The hotel is located near Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

This hotel offers nothing other than close proximity to Epcot.

Hollywood Studios is almost as close and accessible via boat as well.

Walking distance to Epcot is a definite plus as well.

but the Boardwalk (closest to Epcot) was the only place with a room available that met my needs/desires.

Close as in walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios  Staff was amazing.

From our top floor perch, we could see Spaceship Earth, the Eiffel Tower, the Land, and Journey Into Imagination.

Bright and with a nice balcony for morning muffins or croissants viewing the Epcot Eiffel Tower.

Our view was of the Inn Quiet Pool and we could see the Eiffel Tower at the World Showcase.

We can see epcots Eiffel Tower from our very large balcony!!!!!!!!!!

I lost time making memories with my family scrubbing black mold off the shower and trying multiple times to get an unused washer and dryer for laundry.

That kind of smell of dirty towels, dampness that lingers everywhere.

What was disappointing to us was the room itself, the rooms are starting to show age, there was a musty smell to our room, the carpets looked very worn-out and in need of severe cleaning not just vacuuming.

5 minute walk to Epcot

The negatives:
Weird smell throughout the property.

Smelled of damp and overall just really tired.

Moving out into the mildew and mold scented Boardwalk-era carpeted room, you are treated with peeling ugly wallpaper, one piece of sad wall art: stained and untouched by housekeeping, and a legit rolling office chair.

There was some serious construction going on at the front of this resort, replacing the walkways and a lot of the front was closed off and the paint smells or whatever were horrible.

Between the third and fourth floor there is an open galley where the private innkeepers club is - they have a restaurant in there and they leave the double doors open so the odors waft: one night we were treated to garlic tomato smells and the next night garlic shrimp.

Also, mold was growing under the tub soap dish.

The smell of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash, I swear had disney put in it also,  I know the room coffee was Mickey coffee as well.

Walking through the halls we noticed an almost nauseating smell of fried fish everywhere, gross!

Cons- we had to switch rooms everyday due to moldy, mildew odor which gave us cough, sore throats, runny nose & headaches.

The only negative was a mildewy smell near the coffee maker.

Hairs were still in the shower from the previous guest, mold was growing on the edges of the shower curtain and there was a rather large splatter on the ceiling from who knows when.

So, I got to spend my entire trip having expensive sit down meals or starving, or running from food stand to food stand, waiting in long lines only to be told no, or eating stale popcorn as a meal, rather than having fun.

We had a pretty view, you could see the top of the tower in France at Epcot, and fireworks at night from our deck.

Another guest indicated that you can tell the quality of the Disney resort by the tower paper.

but it did provide fresh air and a great view of The Tower of Terror!

Cooks at the Polynesian. Overall, the pool was awesome with games for kids constantly going on, and a cool slide (you can see the Tower of Terror from the top of the slide!)

We are Disney Vacation Club members, and while our home resort is Bay Lake Tower, we decided to stay at Boardwalk because we love that area of Disney.

It’s a large hotel which meant lots of walking around

He gives me a receipt and tells me to walk into the lobby of trattoria al forno is where I am immediately handed our pizza.

It’s also a long walk from most of the park (but Epcot is huge, so I take that into consideration- it depends what you want to do there).

Fantasia Mini Golf again a quick walk or 4 minute drive.

It was always pleasant walking home and seeing it twinkling.

Again the HUGE plus is the short walk to Epcot (back gate is awesome) and Hollywod.

We could walk to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and to the Dolphin for dinner at Shula's.

First off you cannot beat the proximity to the two most popular parks, 10 minute walk to Hollywood studios on a well lit waterside path and 5 minutes to the back gate of Epcot.

The room was large, everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel itself is literally a short walk from tons of places to eat and things to do.

The hotel is very large and we were the very last room and it is quite a walk from the front lobby all the way to the last room.

Bathroom was large with a double vanity and walk in shower.

It's very close to a number of other Disney Resorts (Swan and Dolphin, Yacht and Beach Club, etc) and is encircled by the boardwalk itself which is a great place to go at night.

The Boardwalk is also much closer to Animal Kingdom than most other resorts (~15 minute air-conditioned bus ride).

But the Boardwalk area itself is what we absolutely fell in love with on previous trips and motivated us to buy there.

While we enjoyed the parks and the boardwalk location (walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios), the Villas was a major disappointment.

The lobby, grounds and Boardwalk venues were great.

The bathroom in the lobby was so much nicer at Art of Animation then Boardwalk that people are paying $800 a night.

We love the Boardwalk and continue to create wonderful and magical memories here.

Location is outstanding, with many wonderful offerings on the Boardwalk itself.

Since we were only here for 2 nights we did not use the pool or do anything on the boardwalk.

but at the Boardwalk resort we were unable to get anything for lunch and were turned away at Boardwalk Pizza, Boardwalk-to-Go and Boardwalk Bakery.

but that only goes so far when you can take Lyft from anywhere to the boardwalk.

Very handy as there is only a 5 min walk to Epcot and there are no shortage of eateries along the boardwalk.

The room at boardwalk was made available at 330.

We stayed in villas on the boardwalk side.

We’re annual Passholders and decided to do a staycation at the boardwalk.

but decided to try boardwalk for the first time and we were very happy.

If you are a Food and Wine fan, Boardwalk is a must do!!!!!

There’s many places to eat on the Boardwalk

Across the way is the Yacht Club, with an excellent steakhouse. The villas are much nicer than the regular hotel (but I did miss the view of the Eiffel Tower that we had, last time!)

We took the stairs because the wait for the 3 only elevators takes a while.

Make a room request to be near the elevator!

Hand sanitizer was available before you entered the lobby, in the lobby and prior to getting on the elevator via the 2nd floor.

We got exactly what we asked for, a room near the elevator on a high floor.

My room was about six doors down from the elevators overlooking the main entrance to the resort.

I did not research very well that the very end of the DVC hallway was a looooooong haul from the only elevators.

Ask for a room close to the elevator as the corridors are very very long.

Downsides were how far away from the elevator our room was.

There is only one set of elevators in the hotel.

While it is a bit of a trek to the elevator we discovered a stairwell just down the hall which emerged just beside Jelly Rolls and used it for the duration of our stay.

The Boardwalk Villas have one bank of three elevators for the entire hotel, this is ridiculous.

Just hop on the elevator to the 5th floor and a small walk down a hallway to our room.

The only downside we found was there is a lot of walking as we was quiet far from the lifts as there is only one set.

One of three elevators malfunctioned on our first day and was not fixed the entire week leading to long waits.

Can be a long walk to rooms so may want to request near elevator and as high a floor as possible.

When booking your room consider how far you want to be from elevators to lobby, we had room 5002 which was a hike from elevators

Having a lot of luggage could be a problem since the hallways are long and the elevators are few.

The location and amenities of the resort are great, we appreciated being able to walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios

but felt it was better than the usual pool view as the room felt brighter, and we had lovely view of the epcot fireworks at night.

You can also walk to Epcot from the resort in about 10 minutes.

Best resort on WDW property because of the restaurants and entertainment on the boardwalk plus the proximity to Epcot (walk or launch) and Hollywood Studios (very long walk or launch).

We chose the hotel because of its proximity to EPCOT and that worked out perfectly as we had a great day at the park

The plus- boat transportation and proximity to Epcot.

I walked, and DH rode on his scooter to Epcot.

Didn’t have to fold up my son stroller for busses to get places as there are boats and Skyliner and walking paths to Epcot.

The location is the best on property being an easy walk to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

Five minute walk to EPCOT World Showcase and to Skyliner to Holly wood studios.

The boats came every 15 minutes for  both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The only advantage is the close location to Epcot

The location of this resort is second to none and is walking distance to Epcot or Hollywood Studios.

We went to both Hollywood studios and EPCOT and were able to walk to both.

Fellow guests here were sort of animated that they could walk to Epcot, Hollywood Studios or hop on a skyline or boat - so what - walk to Hollywood Studios to stand in queues for countless hours to feed Disney greed.

The location, so close to Epcot, and the Skyliner is amazing and a plus.

The location is great right in between Hollywood Studios and Epcot walking distance to both.

As others mentioned, walkable to Epcot (10 mins) and Hollywood Studios (15-20 mins).

Fortunately, Epcot within walking distance and much more within our budget.

This a luxury hotel and so close to Epcot and Disney Studios.

The hotel is walking distance to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

EPCOT is close enough to duck into France or one of the other world showcase places for a bite to eat also.

The hotel has an excellent location being within boat and walking distance of both epcot and Hollywood studios, with a bus service to animal kingdom / magic kindgom and Disney springs.

The hotel is within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios which was so convenient for us.

Of course, the location is the biggest plus being walking distance to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Big bonus: well within walking distance of Epcot, and about a 15-minute walk or boat ride to Hollywood Studios!!!

Boardwalk is conveniently located in walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

SUPER convenient check in, extremely close to Epcot (our favorite) and Hollywood Studios.

You can walk from the resort to Epcot and Hollywood studios.

From this resort you can walk to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, there is also boat transportation to both parks, as well as the Skyliner.
