 - If you wish to stay on a budget friendly yet comfortable hotel, choose Mercure Tour Eiffel which is only few steps away from an Iconic landmark.
 - During check in, the front desk staff was also very friendly, and upgraded our rooms.
 - Staff here was nice, friendly, and helpful.
 - We arrived early Friday to leave our luggage and the friendly receptionist found us a room available early!
 - Friendly staff, breakfast was lovely and fresh.

 - The washroom had no toothpaste, brush, comb or shower cap and you cant order because no one would attend the call in room service.
 - By that I mean it is VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE for the room size, bathroom size, amenities and services offered.
 - Room was outdated and small, the bathroom door has marks everywhere and the hall way is narrow and dark.
 - Odd layout in the rooms with a tiny toilet room when it could quite easily be joined to the bathroom.
 - but when you’re done going to the toilet you still have to go in the other room and bother whoever is in there to use the sink to wash your hands.

 - One things I noticed was the privilege room we stayed used the Luxe as the amenities, which is a fairly good French brand.
 - The rooms are very small, we upgraded to a Privilege room, with a view of the tower for an extra €40 per night.
 - I paid for the Privilege room and also paid an additional €40/night for a view of the Eiffel Tower from the room.
 - We asked for a Privilege room on the highest available floor so we could have decent Eiffel Tower views and we got 1132.
 - On arrival we were given a free upgrade to a privilege room by a guy called Idir on reception who is extremely helpful.

 - Wonderful place to stay , amazing room with breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower and service impeccable would definitely recommend staying here also very close to batuex bus which is the only way to travel when in Paris .
 - From the breath taking architecture on the inside to probably the best view of the Eiffel Tower from a hotel in the entire city of paris!
 - We were in awe with the beautiful interior design, the iconic staircase and ballroom, the friendliness and service from the staff, and the breathtaking Eiffel Tower view from the balcony of our suite.
 - A stone’s throw away from the Eiffel Tower (I’m convinced you could literally throw a stone and hit it from the hotel room) and the Arc de Triomphe/ Champs- Elyssès • Amenities.

 - Asked to change the room and were offered even smaller one.
 - Especially after promising a room change, their attitude was unbelievable.
 - When we had checked in, the hotel was at full capacity and so we were told that we possibly could change our room the next morning once people checked out.

 - Located in an classic old European building, note that the elevator is small and carries only 2 at a time comfortably if attending to children and disabled elders in your party.
 - The tiny elevator can only accommodate one person.
 - Entrance: At the entrance, the lift is quite small for one person to fit along with 1 piece of luggage
 - My Husband and I took our senior citizens parents on a surprise trip to Paris after London Jan 1-4th we arrived via Eurostar and when I pulled up to the hotel I was scared and then when I seen the small elevator I was really scared.

 - Tiny claustrophobic elevator and narrow stairs.
 - Traveling with senior citizens and walking up the stairs don’t mix.
 - Very small elevator for luggage transport; the stairs are much easier to negotiate for daily room access. Recommend.
 - The stairs are steep
 - but the stairs are tiny and manageable.

 - We slept with our window open each night and the area is so quiet and yet Rue Cler is such a bustling street with some shops and restaurants.
 - In addition, this hotel is at one end of Rue Cler, which has two blocks of stores, restaurants, wine shops, etc.
 - The location is fantastic - Rue Cler has lots of little shops and cafés, and the hotel is within walking distance of most places, with the metro just a few minutes walk away.
 - Good restaurants and shops are all close by.
 - You can walk to a bakery, souvenir shop, restaurants and many many more things.

 - Located on a street where cars are prohibited and on a old fashioned open market it’s a beautiful Parisian experience.
 - It is situated on Rue Cler, with bakeries, restaurants, markets, anything else you need just a few steps away.
