No coffee in the room, then charging me for a cup to go, is also a pet peeve of mine.

but it was so problem and we were not charged for it!

All my guests took a card and said they would come back there if they need to stay in Paris.

but afterwards checked hotel website directly and was the same price so wish I had booked directly on their own website (booking was made within 7 days of arrival so would have been charged by booking.com to cancel)

The only problem we had was when we checked out they nearly charged us for the breakfast buffet and using the sauna and steam room.

We returned late one evening with a bottle of wine, I requested a bottle opener, they took our bottle, we went to our room and 2 minutes later the wine arrives in an ice bucket with two glasses and a bowl of nuts and olives ( no charge ) Now that is service.

One point to note is that if the hotel order a fixed rate taxi for you that you confirm this with the taxi as we got to the airport to find we were charged more than the original quote which was a bit annoying.

We are from NYC and we totally forgot to bring the outlet converter to charge our cameras, the front desk staff had every converter you can imagine.

The minor one was I felt the breakfasts were a little ‘lightweight’ for the price guests pay within their room charge.

but upon arriving at the hotel the staff phoned them and it turned out the taxi company had a mix up and the staff arranged with them to pick us up for our departure free of charge!!

(note: they do not pre authorise a card or anything, they make you feel at home and you pay on check out - a real plus)
We stayed in the Musee D'Orsay room and it was perfect.

There is NO CHARGE to change rooms so take advantage!

but it is pretty sad when you know that is why they charge so much, for a few extra bits of plastic and wood put up to look like a monument.

he said it was a waiting charge this is a disgrace such a shame really mad our stay a bad experience .

I had forgotten that the cost was not included and there was no reminder anywhere in the dining room that there was a charge.

but we were not notified someone would be in our room and we did not know there was a problem with the bath, he also used our iphone charger to charge his phone whilst he was fixing the bath.

This hotel was well decorated, well run and the breakfast was excellent.

The concept is really different and the design amazing.

Everything is amazing at the hotel: rooms are very clean and stylish, sauna and steam room are really great for a hotel and you can have it 24/7!

The whole hotel had a wonderful ambiance and was beautiful-we loved hearing about the concept and the history.

Attractions like the Louvre Museum were a short cab ride away.

The location was great for getting around the city with a choice of Metro stations and  plenty of cafe’s bars and restaurants nearby. Lovely little place to share some secrets too :)

There are tons of restaurants closeby plus the metro etc.

They recommended excellent French restaurants (such as the Bouillon Pigalle).

loved the bath, and the bedroom decor.the sound proofing ( room was right opposite a busy restaurant) is top class, didnot hear anything and slept really well.

Our room was lovely, clean and serviced on a daily basis; it was great to have a jacuzzi in our en suite.

We arrived at mid-day and as expected our room wasn’t ready.

Our luggage had been delivered to the room already.

The rooms are all so unique and well thought out and feature all the amenities that you'd want!

My gf and I stayed in the Musee d'Orsay room and it was amazing, not to mention the Jacuzzi: unbelievable.

A little too dark with red & heavy curtains (should have paid €10 more per room night to get room Musee D'orsay which might be brightly lit).

but can not believe the reviews are so positive, it might be unique but totally impractical, we moved to a more central location, to a cheaper room without the glass toilet after one night.

Really tiny rooms for price and location..exception was the Atelier d'artiste room,
The cleanliness was not great.

but do not forget (as I did) that the cost is not included in your room fee - it is an additional 18 Euros per person, which is quite pricey if all you have is coffee and a piece of bread with cheese.

When you pay 250 there is little room for disappointment.

The wardrobe is tiny, bedside tables tiny, no view from the window, the bath shower and toilet is all in one that is tiny too and the lighting is not great, I cannot even put my make up on because it was so dim !

There were small mirrors on the ceiling which probably wouldn't be to everyone's taste.

We even had a problem with our shower door and they offered to move us to a different room

Our bathroom door broke and since maintenance couldn’t fix it they offered us another room on the highest level.

The shower door was only a half door so when you shower water tends to get all over the floor though.

One has to step over a fair high wall into the shower  and it has a shower "door" that only covers about a fourth of the tub.

FYI when showering  try not to flood the  bathroom as the bathtub does  not really have a great divider.

We travelled with a one year old baby, 
The hotel had a baby tub and changing mat with a baby cot and a sleeping bag for the baby waiting, and with special baby soaps and shampoos!

however, the shower/tub combo was challenging; required a very high step-in (24+ inches) and it was as narrow, or less, than an economy seat on an airplane.

One has to take care when getting out of tub, as it is slippery when wet.

In the room the WC was separate from the shower, sink and tub.

My room and bathroom were very small with 2 single beds and a mini bath tub suitable for small children.

Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and clean and had a super comfortable and large bed.

We were in room 26, a lovely, large, comfortable room.

The hotel was extremely comfortable, great staff, free wi-fi, free minibar, clean and big rooms, very good location, also there are free of charge food & beverage in the lobby.

Service is impeccable, Laurent and Nirosha, they could remember what we prefer and made our stay a comfortable one, especially Laurent who is very friendly and helpful.

The beds were also the most comfortable out of everywhere we had stayed during our 5 week trip!

They have a honesty bar where you go make your drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and you write down what you drink and you’re charged.

Hotel Bradford, with beautiful decor, is in a perfect location close to several outdoor cafes and the Champs Elysee.

The breakfast was perfect to kick off the day and well-served, with a broad selection of food and amazing coffee.

Free snacks and nonalcoholic drinks from 2pm-2am, and an honesty bar, where you can and have a cocktail and enjoy the ambience of the library.

Stayed for 6 nights, room was clean , spacious compared to other hotels, close to Champ Elyssee.

This hotel was charming and the room was spacious.

We purchased the standard double room w/included breakfast.

Hotel has a nice breakfast and complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the afternoon, and complimentary water and juice and soft drinks in the room.

Extremely clean with beautiful rooms - most of which have a juliette balcony - they also serve a gorgeous breakfast, with many options, in their beautiful dining area and also puts out snacks for late afternoon tea as well.

They offered a free mini bar in our room that they refill, they had complimentary snacks for guests everyday from 2 pm to 2 am.

The rooms have a great feel to them, are clean (they smell amazing), and have super cute boutique touches everywhere you look!

The room is large in size and is very clean.

We booked a twin superior room and it was very spacious for European standards.

They helped us in a very uncomfortable situation (mistake from us) in a way that showed true customer service and experience!

My Husband and I would slip through the gap at nighttime which was very uncomfortable.

On arrival in the room no hard pillows as I requested was on the 8th floor not the highest I asked for and the room stank of a Smolensk smell and the AC was set to 25 degrees: I tried 11 times to call the reception no one answered.

No, I just want an air conditioner that I can figure out.

Air conditioning is an actual one, not a fan like old hotels provide,

The water pressure was at little more than a dribble when we left and the air con was just not up to Paris in a heatwave.

but it never cooled down to that temperature.

Useless to say we preferred to leave at 12. terribly disappointed of a stay spoiled

I am not a fan of chain hotels and this one epitomizes just this.

The hotel maid services are not very effective.

Marginal airco and low hot water pressure.

My aircon in the room was also not working and this was fixed 3 days later, let me add that the temperature was close to 40 degrees in my week there.

Sadly this is all ruined by an air conditioning system that either cant cope, or is being held back to save money.

Apart from the waiting time, changing the room twice, missing towels, A/C not working, room service experience ..

The only readon why i couldn't give 5 star was the heating in the room, because was not so good, hard to adjust and also with the help of the reception the room was not so warm,

Only criticism of the room would be it gets very hot and air-con isn’t great and the shower had chipped tiles and needed a make over not what you would expect for a 200€ plus room a night.

The hotel tries to con you into thinking the A/C is on because they left the blower on,

The issue with the air conditioning was not resolved until three days later.

There is a general problem with the airconditioning, which doesn't seem to be controllable.

but the thermostat said it was 18 celsius.

Also the location is great with the metro literally on the doorstep and is easy to navigate after the first few times!

Secondly, the staff seemed bothered to answer pretty standard questions or even for giving directions or information about a really popular place or location.

The location was fantastic right next to the Metro.

The location of the Melia hotel is great, especially when you come into Paris by car.

I have stayed several times at this hotel because it is nice, very good location, just steps away from the Metro station, has a gym open 24 hours which is very convenient if you can’t sleep because of the timetable.

Location is great if your office is in La Defense.
