The location is very close to a Metro station, making it easy to get around town, plus some attractions are within walking distance.

Great hotel, great location (three Metro stations nearby, big grocery store just 1 minute walk) and most important of all: wonderful hospitality.

There were some Metro stations very close by (Réaumur – Sébastopol and Strasbourg-Saint-Denis) too, so it was very easy to get around in Paris.

Our complete family absolutely loved the hotel, great area to explore paris from with multiple close by metro station to go anywhere.

The staff were all incredibly helpful in getting us to the correct metro stations and booking an early morning taxi.

Metro station is also a small distance away.

There was little hanging room even for only 3 nights stay and particularly with winter coats etc.

Our room was a bit small (no closet or dresser, there is a clothes hanging rack and shelf),

My only complaint was not enough hanging and storage space so we had to keep a lot in suitcases.

On the negative side, the room was really small with no closets.

The only problem was lack of closet and draw space in The room.

My only real gripe is that there is no storage in the room; we had an open hanging area with about 6 coathangers, and one shelf, between two adults.

First up this hotel had no closet,no dressers and was considered 4+ rating.

One thing I would say is that room we had was quite small and there isn't a lot of storage in the room, only a canvass wardrobe

Very little storage which meant only one of us could empty clothes and try to find space to put items.

but not large: bed, desk, open style rack/shelves for clothes and bathroom with full size shower. Room had a wall mounted TV, ihome clock radio, in-room safe and mini frig with complementary non-alcoholic beverages, or space to put your own F&B (with several min-marts and a supermarket within a 2 block walk.)

Towels were a hit and miss ~ some days no wash clothes, some days no hand towels.

Any longer might have been slightly challenging given the very limited places to hang and put clothes -

Our only issue was finding enough room to hang up clothes.

Clean, well run, fun, movie theater theme boutique hotel 30 minute walk to the Louvre and Gard du Nord.

but perfectly formed hotel in a great location just 10 minutes from Gare du Nord and equally well placed for all the sights due to the metro being a short 4 minute stroll away.

Centrally located and near a metro station with a direct connection (four stops only) to Gard du Nord.

Le Musée du Louvre, Versailles, Montmartre, Musée d'Orsay, Opéra de Paris, La sainte Chapelle, Île de la cité.

Staff is Sympathic, rooms are comfortable and nice decorated, good breakfast with good choices, great service, central location with good connection to Metro and Gare du Nord, in summary excellent choice

While the ordinary rooms are definitely small, which is often the case in Paris, it had excellent service, was very clean, the room was wonderfully quiet, had all the relevant amenities, and the hotel was extremely well placed for Gare du Nord (just 4 Metro stops away), and for all the places we wanted to go to in the 1st, 2nd, 8th and 17th.

Excellent location, close to Gare de l‘Est, Rue Montorgueil, Rue du Faubourg Montmartre and several Metro stations.

Just few minutes from Chatelet/ Gare du Nord and on the main exit way to Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The hotel is a short 20 minute walk from Gare du Nord station, perfect if you are travelling across from London on the Eurostar.

We visited our family at the very fancy Sofitel by the Place du Concord and it was lovely,

The location was great, within easy access of The Louvre, Norte Dame and a relatively short Uber ride to Gare du Nord, Eiffel Tower etc..

The hotel is very conveniently located between Gare du Nord (if you're taking the Eurostar from London like us) and the Louvre area.

The Metro station is directly opposite which was a direct line both from Gare du Nord and to the centre of Paris so getting there from the Airport was simple as was getting around.

Close to Gare du nord , 4 stops on metro or a slow 20min walk .

The Sébastopol was recommended to us by my Parisian friend who said it won’t disappoint, she was right   The hotel is in a great location and we walked everywhere   It’s very close to Gard du Nord, The Seine , Norte Dame , the Louvre and many museums   Le Marais is a fabulous district with lovely cafes and restaurants and shops   It’s very charming.

The 20min walk from Gare du Nord was also extremely handy.

However, it is well-situated to visit all of them by metro, bus or taxi and it is also handily placed for the Gare du Nord for Eurostar travellers like us.

A lovely hotel just four stops from Gard du Nord and a short walk once you get out.

They helpfully arranged a transfer to Gare Montparnasse for us as well.

Well located, not far from Les Halles - for great shopping - & Pompidou Centre.

The location of the hotel is central not far from Chatelet Les Halles, restaurants located closely and of course metro stations are found near by!

If one doesn’t mind walking, less than half hour to Les Halles, Louvre, Musée d’Orsay.

We have spent 2 nights in this perfectly located hotel, in the vicinity of “Les Halles”, in a vivid neighborhood of Paris.

Just a short walk to the Les Halles shopping/restaurant area and directly over the road from the nearest Metro station.

Closed to Les Halles, Le Marais… The area looks safe.

The hotel is exceptionally well located not far from major train stations (including Les Halles) with easy walking to sites such as Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, Conciergere, The Louvre, Paris Opera and so on.

Plus within 5 mins of Les Halles and the shops, restaurants, bars and cafes there too.

This quirky hotel, in the Les Halles area, was recommended by our travel agent.

Hotel was just opposite metrostop Reaumur-Sebastopol and on good walking distance from les halles and Marais.

You can walk to Châtelet Les Halles shopping Centre and Gallérie Lafayette / Printemps.

Perfect location in Le Marais / Les Halles  area, Clever cinema theme,  perfectly appointed rooms, Wonderful staff, great breakfast included in price,  All day snacks in any of the hotel Group around the city, private cinema, gym. .

The Hotel is very tastefully decorated throughout with a quirky theme of Movie Director s and their Films.

The overarching theme is fun with film props & decor all over the hotel and rooms, including its own cinema.

Such a cool theme of cinema and film, which gives the hotel an unusual and stylish feel.

Without hesitation, I would stay here again on my next visit to Paris.

123 Sebastopol was a fully unexpected surprise therefore - great value for money, super nice hotel with movie theatre, film and actors as its theme.

Beautiful modern hotel with an adorable cinema theme.

The theme of the hotel is movies, so you see some movie theme in the decor.

We loved the decor and all the French film references.

The hotel was super terrific with the movie set theme, the rooms were most gorgues and had a great view from our windows.

There is also a movie theatre showing free movies.

The icing on the cake is the lovely cinema, which can be  booked out (for free) to watch the film of your choice.

The hotel's main highlight is the cinema - you can rent it just for yourself; a great collection of movies; my mum and I finally watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - it seemed appropriate since Morricone wrote the music for the film.

Getting alloted a room on the 1st floor dedicated to Ennio Morricone added to the experience.

The room was perfectly outfitted given the size.

Our room was ready for us when we arrived at 1 pm.

Nice snacks and drinks in the lobby and mini fridge in the room available for free.

Most importantly there was AC in the rooms.

The decor was great, room was super clean.

Very nice and helpful people , room was clean and comfortable, great location for the metro.

I stayed in a single room which was tastefully designed and appropriate for my length of stay.

The rooms and bathrooms were extremely spacious and had fun decor.

We read about the tiny rooms in Paris and the bedbugs and hence approached the hotel with apprehension.

The reception staff I talked to most, Adyl, was warmly welcoming, helpful and informative and during my stay the staff were wonderful.

While coming downstairs to get morning coffee seemed a bit of extra work, the machine makes great coffees!

We appreciated the fancy coffee machine in the lobby and quiet spaces to sit and meet with friends.

but both the coffee machine and coffee from the thermos in the lobby were just great.

The 24 hour espresso machine and automatic wine bar in the lobby were excellent, too.

Cappuccino machine in the lobby was nice.

We appreciated the coffee machine in the lobby, which is a nice touch since cafe latte, espresso and cappuccino were available.

Customer service is great and friendly, and the coffee machine that makes espresso and cappuccino at the lobby is a big plus.

but you can help yourself to the coffee machine adjacent to the reception counter on the ground floor.

And, la piece de resistance, the complimentary coffee machine: americano, cappuccino, latte!

Breakfast was very good, 24/7 coffee machine in lobby was great, and the location is ideal for access to all the sights of Quebec inside the old city walls.

There’s a 24 hour coffee machine downstairs, an ice machine,  a wine “bar” with a nice selection of whites and reds, and a yummy breakfast is offered in the morning.

However, the coffee machine in the lobby was a huge plus early in the morning.

The daily breakfast delivery is usually a couple of muffins, croissants, yogurt, and fruit.

- Breakfast: first day it came with 2 croissants, 2 muffins, 2 boiled eggs, compote, jam and HALF CUP OF JUICE for 2 guests, which was unbelievable.

The buffet breakfast is delicious: croissants, fresh fruit, eggs, cretons, beans, and so much more.

We're not big breakfast eaters, so instead walked a couple of blocks to Paillard for coffee and croissants.

One note to those arriving by bus or train:  While it looks close to Gare du Palais on the map, the hotel is up a big hill and that walk with luggage might be a challenge.

It's within walking distance of great restaurants and attractions - and not far from Gare du Palais if you decide to visit Quebec by bus or train.

We walked everywhere from this location, including Marche du Vieux-Port.

The location of this hotel is in the middle of the shopping "action", abundance of good restaurants, art galleries, marché du vieux port - a must.

A daily special treat was the smoothie du jour.

We didn't go far to find the pleasant Old Québec took a tour of Old Québec with Les Calèches du Vieux Québec  with a horse-drawn carriage.

It's also about 3 minutes from rue du Tresor and a huge selection of great restaurants, and about 5 from the famous (or infamous, depending on your level of fitness) stairs down the hill.

If weather permits one can easily walk up from the Gare du Palais (VIA Rail)

but it was a pain to unpack the car because the elevator was extremely slow.

A tip for new arrivals would be to consider using the stairs as the lift may just be the slowest in Québec, and possibly the slowest in North America.

Also, there is no elevator so you will have to haul your luggage up two flights to the third floor.

Only one elevator makes going up to the rooms a bit longer,

but one of the world's slowest elevators.

wall is thin, room is not so big, elevator from lobby to 5th floor may take around 5 mins because the hotel is old.

The lobby had a welcoming and warm lobby where many gathered and visited while waiting for taxis, etc., The elevators are small and slow;

No elevators to this room so you have to use the stairs.

OH- and not to forget, they have an elevator and a post box right out front!
