We did have a bad experience checking in.. after a 10 minute wait, where only one of the 3 check-in desks was staffed, we were told that the room we had booked (via American Express Travel) which was a triple classic, does not exist and that rooms are just for two people.

Be prepared for a little bit of a wait in the afternoon during check in.

Check in process was poor, long queues, lengthy process, no information given about the hotel/facilities at check in.

Front desk was reluctant to change room for us and kept sending people up to the room to check.

Much later we were back to check in and people queued to be seen by a receptionist no manager in sight which was better so we were not discriminated against.

He didn’t even bother to check for availability & when I asked him kindly to check again he responded that he didn’t need to check!

During check out no late check out as well was even rejected before I finish my sentence.

The last day after our check out I realized I forgot a pair of earrings in the room and soon after we contact the hotel.

(4) I am a gold member and when I complained again - very angrily at my check-out, I was offered a 150 euros discount off my 1000+ euro bill - whereas I should have been offered at least one of the two rooms for the full stay.

After 30 minutes check, they say sorry because misunderstanding :)
Will not come back with 600 euros for one night.

Quick check in, room small, as booked, upgrade to a higher category for Diamond status not included, good hotel location, breakfast buffet sufficient, nice top floor restaurant, unfortunately we were unable to get a table on Saturday night despite being flexible in terms of the available time, it's hard.

He said he will get my card when I check out the next day.

By 9:45pm, we went out in the hallway to check if there was any sign of room service: we ran into a guy who was taking orders for cocktails so he couldn’t be bothered with us.

Her check out system unfortunate then became faulty, so she promised me she would email the bill straight away to save us waiting around.

The following day I was promoted to check my bank account after unusual activities and I see that the Pullman had taken two payments the day after we left.

Skip the restaurant would be my advice and  if you NEED a fridge you may want to check that first.

though was apparently there was something wrong with the checkin process and we ended up with some sort of attention flag set on our account, so they electronically locked the fridge in our room.

I want you to check for additional charge EUR 11.52.

At checkout, we had nothing to do except pass our credit cards for the "extras" and not stand in line!

Check in experience was poor, we were given a room after a long travel only go find out that there was another family still there as we opened the door - the person who checked in was nice (not that it mattered) and gave us another room claiming it’s a floor higher !

half a glass wall and no door meant taking extra care not to flood the room.

The room would have been fantastic if it was cleaner - stains on the shower, the floor and the back splash behind the sink and door were really off putting!

but worse , sliding doors and steps , sounded like a service area for staff .

I will not come back, I will choose a Novotel next door next time.

On the day i arrived, my husband cannot find a place to park even i ask the security at the door

During our first hour in our room, someone opened our door without knocking.

We thought we could just leave the bathroom door shut.

We have a 7 year old daughter who i would not let on there at all, we had to keep the door closed.

After the room had been serviced the following day, there were still old room service remnants outside our door which I ended up takin myself to reception.

In fact the room got so hot I had to leave our balcony door open all night.

I’m actually in Paris now as I’m writing this, this morning 9/1 at 845am my door was opened without the bell being ring or door being knocked.

They gave us a connecting room, where the connecting door is wafer thin, we heard all the shouting next door till 3am.

When the door person was told they got grumpy that they had to go back and get other items.

We even entered without giving my room # because for a long time there was no one guarding the door.

After a long day of meetings when I was in my room, the room next door where shouting and laughing:

I called the reception.

About 15 minutes later we received a knock on our door with pillows that had no pillow cases and looked like old oversized throw pillows from a couch (as pictured below).

So everynight we were sleeping with the door open being woken by sirens and outside noises.

I left the ‘clean my room’ sign on the door that afternoon, again no one did.

We had the good fortune to be in a room with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower.

The proximity to the Eiffel Tower is of course second to none here.

We had an Eiffel Tower view room which was amazing, they were able to assist in making sure that there was champagne on arrival with balloons, chocolates and rose petals all over the room and bed.

You can’t get any closer to the Eiffel Tower and everything is a convenient walk

If you want the best views of the Eiffel tower this is the place to stay!

I had booked 2 rooms with Eiffel Tower rooms which I paid extra for.

Hotel was a short walk to the champ de Mars train for a quick trip to Versailles also short walk to Eiffel tower or cruise boats along river Seine.

Our stay was really good,the View of the Eiffel Tower was perfect.

This hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower and underground.

but though you could see the Eiffel Tower all lit up, it was not an inviting atmosphere.

First the location is a stone’s throw to the Eiffel Tower.

The hotel has a great location if you want to be near the Eiffel Tower.

If you want to visit the Eiffel Tower and see her in all her majestic beauty- stay here at The Pullman Tour Eiffel!!

You really couldn't get a better place to stay if you wanted to be close to the Eiffel Tower and in walking distance to cafes, shops etc.

It was a lovely hotel with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower.

We’d booked a kingsize room with an Eiffel Tower view.

Our room overlooked the Eiffel Tower so we had a great view at all times.

The buzz of complaining from people who wanted a better room and didn’t receive it frustrated me on behalf of the hotel staff.

I didn’t like my room, bed or the hotel to even use there restaurant.

I booked a semi-flexible rate room for December which allows me to get full refund 7 day prior to check in.

This is truly incredible 

To make matters worse, at 1pm the room wasn’t ready since the check-in is at 3pm - perfectly understandable.

I consulted the staff at Reservations desk (Mr Vuk) and he provided great service by answering our questions on the rooms, the type of bathrooms (which has accessible features) and holiday events.

On the second day they said they would move us to a larger room, which they did

The rooms have balconies that literally allow you to have the Iron Lady right in front of you with all her magic and beauty!!!!

The room was comfortable, bed was great, hot water was adequate, towels and robes were good, bath products good.

We were given adjoining rooms
 Particularly noteworthy were the helpful staff—Victor at the Concierge Desk and Céline in the Dining Room.

The room was cosy and the bed was so comfy.

We wrote a full three page complaint letter and provided imagery and explanations for everything wrong with our room.

We asked for adjoining rooms as we had our kids with us and that’s exactly what we got.

Rooms are clean and modern and the restaurant in the lobby is really good.

I felt so sorry for them having to encounter such rude people!

They only really rude staff that we encountered.

The staff are rude including the concierge guys (unless you are super rich and engage one of their exclusive travel service), they charge 5 euros for even delivering an empty plate and napkin, to top it all they gave us a drink coupon which we can never use as the roof top is busy - we even requested them time just for a picture as our 9 year old was keen

The receptionist was very rude, that he didn’t even try to help or fix the problem that THEY caused!!

A number of staff in restaurant are rude and misbehaved.

(Paris seems a lot less rude than I remember it

The bar had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower we went there twice for a drink and were served buy a very, very  rude drink waiter (middle aged with glasses).

I went back to ask again after 5 mins and he was rude and aggressive with me and refused to help.

The experience in the restaurant FRAME was absolute terrible, wit the most unpolished an rude waitress I had the displeasure of being attended by.

but if the staff is rude and unhelpful everything goes down the drain!

Every time we approached them they were quite rude.

the front desk is rude, unfriendly, helpless and SUPER SLOW. GOSH!

That same night, I received a phone call from a very rude lady at the restaurant yelling we did not show up for our 7:30 diner reservation when we had a reservation for 8:00 !!!

I am a woman and if it was my hotel would have kicked them out long ago.it is mainly that they cant understand English and answer all the wrong things to your questions, so one has to ask again and then they are rude.

We encounter very rude service and uncomfortable stay.

Cabbies can sometimes be rude and not take fares if your not going to the airport.

This combined with other rude guests pushing into queues made for a rather unpleasant experience both mornings.

There was a strong small of sewage coming from our bathroom

We were given a room that had a bad smell, wet carpet and spoilt ac.

The bread was stale as could be and the courses mediocre at best.

It was heavily perfumed to try to cover up the smell,

The night itself I found out the bed sheet smells and asked for a bed sheet change.

The smell still permeated through the ‘Terre d’Hermes’ we had spritzed everywhere.

however we were unable to enjoy the view because one of the guests smoked drugs and cigarettes which plumed onto our balcony.

Some people may mot be bothered by this smell

This is beyond disgusting for a 4 star hotel in Paris.

The rooms are small, the shower screen leaked all over the floor; the foyer smells like last nights steak, reception is like a Zoo, room service hadn’t made my room at 10pm because of a ‘misunderstanding’ aka.

The breakfast room and conference room are in a smelly basement -

Too many people in front of the hotel smoking, that's the first impression arriving at the hotel,Then the reception is hidden, no avalable at the first glance, only the security people is welcoming you and giing you information.

Although the carpet was still disgusting.

First, our room had a slight smoke smell.

The reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is due to the very unorganized and lengthy checkout and not so desireable smell of the lobby and our room.

Balcony view is fantastic, great view of Eiffelp tower & la seine canal.

The only hype about this hotel is the balcony which has a beautiful view

Visiting Paris for 3 days and found the location to be perfect with a view of the Eiffel Tower and lovely restaurant with yummy breakfast included.

You get to be close to the iconic tower and enjoy the views

The room was large enough, and had a nice patio with a great view from the 9th floor.

Incredible views and again excellent service.

The bar and balcony on the top floor bar provided unbelievable views of the Tower especially when the lights sparkled on the hour.

We had a balcony room with view of the Eiffel Tower and it is exactly like the photos!!

Rooftop bar has an absolutely amazing view of the Eifel tower as do the balcony rooms.

They needed credit card information, and they wanted me to send it using email.

His response was “Well I will have to charge you anyway” .

He started to get very upset with me and said well there's nothing I can do these are the charges.

However, the hotel charges abusive telephone costs: For a call which costs 46 cents a minute, I was charged 36 Euros a minute.

It turned out that we were running late after shopping and when my husband phoned the concierge to notify him he was told that we would be charged for the taxi anyway!

Upon arrival, I need to know where I could get a SIM card and change my money.

We had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from room 203.

Each detail of the hotel was pure magic, from the breathtaking city and Eiffel tower view, to the fresh breakfast buffet - every bit of my experience felt surreal.

On the plus side, we do have Eiffel Tower view from our small-ish balcony.

Very close to Eiffel Tower, could walk to many popular locations.

It was a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and steps from Les Invalides.

We had a view of the Eiffel Tower and the staff were very friendly.

Seconds away from the metro and generally walking distance to many attractions like the Eiffel Tower, champs élysées, latin quarter, Le Bon Marche etc.

We paid the extra to have a balcony with excellent views of the eiffel tower.

It’s in an awesome location with a great view of most of the Eiffel Tower and easily walkable to restaurants and sightseeing.

Some rooms have a balcony with a view of the Eiffel tower, we had a room with a sideview.

We were able to upgrade to a room on the 5th floor with a balcony, and a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower!

We are so happy that we made a right choice to stay in la comtesse …the place is perfect close to the eiffel tower and other tourist spots just walking distance…the convinient stores and restos are every where the area.

We can’t say enough good things about La Comtesse… It’s centrally located in a great neighborhood with lots of shops and cafes-each of our rooms had a great view of the Eiffel Tower!!

We have never stayed in a room with a better view - seeing the Eiffel Tower day and night was truly amazing - from the balcony and even from the shower!

We were right by the metro as well as the  Eiffel Tower itself.

The manager of the hotel was so rude when showed our dissatisfaction.

It's my first time to see in my 30+ years traveling globally such a rude manager.

I spoke to the manager and he got mad because I called Booking to complain about this situation and false advertisement, then the manager started screaming at me and saying that that's the side view of the Eiffel tower the advertising was very clear!

I told him well that's wrong and you need to go get a manager.

though I presented all proof of the costs of the call to the management, the only answer I received is that the telephone system "calculates it automatically" and that "they can do nothing about it".

Poor management, unhelpful staff who look like they’re doing you a favor by simple looking in your direction.

but this should be investigated by the hotel managers)

Saturday Sep 2:  we went from morning till around 4 5, we were traveling  the next day so we decided to start packing.

Management team were very cold on the phone, didn't even consolidate me at all.

Personnel on the restaurant not very friendly and with poor service attitude.

Disappointing, unethical, poor customer service.

My poor husband wanted me to stay at my dream hotel so we took one of the rooms (not the most expensive one).

Room was clean and quiet, even on busy corner.

The room was clean and very comfortable and had everything you needed, the views where fantastic.

Thank you to the staff for upgrading my room to the 6th floor and for making my stay the best experience I could have dreamed of.

As per other hotels in this region, the room was quite small.

The steam room in the fitness area was also excellent.

The room was spacious and Oh La La the view!!

Great location, great view, every day the room was found neatly cleaned when we returned from a long day.

Out room was spacious for being a hotel room in Paris, we had the Duchesse room.

There was even a Nespresso machine in the room where we had coffee on the balcony every morning.

The location in a residential area and on a nice shopping street, close to several metro stops, the Seine, and the Eiffel tower was perfect.

The location was just blocks from the Eiffel Tower so we were able to walk there.

The location is great, only about a 10-15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower, and many close restaurants and a bakery two doors down!

It was about a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower right along the Seine River.

Hotel Passy Eiffel had a perfect location, only a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel tower, close to restaurants and shopping.

We could also see the Eiffel Tower from our room.

The Eiffel Tower is a 15 minute walk down hill from the hotel.

Only a 10 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and had plenty of restaurants around!

Hotel Passy Eiffel is really lovely--it's so close to the Eiffel Tower and the 16th in general is a very nice and quiet area.

We had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our window which was nice.

The hotel is convenient to the metro, some restaurants/shops, and an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower.

The location of the hotel is good and there is a nice view of the Eiffel Tower.

A very stylish, boutique hotel in a great location.

The location was also a key factor on our decision as it’s literally 2 min from the metro Passy (where you can go anywhere from here) and 5-7 min from the Eiffel Tower which honestly nothing else should be required.
