 - First, I was told upgrades were not available to the room I was looking for because it was “fashion week” (which it was not), and then I was told a price for a room upgrade two levels up,
 - The rooms are pricey
 - Considering the cost of the rooms, we simply weren't all that impressed.
 - Just an idea.- our room cost us over Euro 1,000 a night.

 - Yao offered us some fine champagne and was able to lock in a last minute lunch reservation at the famous Shang Palace (a one star Michelin rated Asian inspired restaurant)!
 - We received a beautiful and above all very delicious heart-shaped red cake and a bottle of champagne to welcome us.
 - We had cakes and champagne waiting for us and what's more important gifts for the little ones.
 - - A warm thank you for the greeting card with champagne and birthday cake - Service at dinner and breakfast was superb!
 - Hidden within this beautiful hotel is the Krug Bar, where you can get Krug Champagne by the bottle or glass and a selection of nibbles - we had Bellota ham and parmesan cubes plus the complementary mini onion tarts, which were great with the champagne.

 - The empty bottle of sparkling water was not removed, and the water bottle by the bed was not changed either.
 - I asked once to replace my minibar water and I never asked again, everyday they put extra water for me.
 - Maybe they just need to update a few things– as I was checking in, I overheard a guest who was checking out complaining about how their room had no hot water during their stay.
 - We had water on our first night so why not the third?

 - A stone’s throw away from the Eiffel Tower (I’m convinced you could literally throw a stone and hit it from the hotel room) and the Arc de Triomphe/ Champs- Elyssès • Amenities.
 - I thought it was a perfect location as it is a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, nearby subway, you can walk along the Seine River and depending on whether you like to walk or not the Arc de Triomphe and other landmarks are also within walking distance.
 - And this last time their ideal location was very important because our room with a terrace has a view of the Eiffel Tower and it’s only 12 min walk to see the 2020 New Years fireworks at the Arc de Triomphe.
 - Sightseeing is convenient with Arc de Triomphe, the Place de la Concorde and the Tuilerie Gardens nearby - not to mention the fashionable shops of the Avenue Montaigne.
 - but also to the Champs Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, the Jardins du Trocadero, etc.

 - Wonderful place to stay , amazing room with breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower and service impeccable would definitely recommend staying here also very close to batuex bus which is the only way to travel when in Paris .
 - From the breath taking architecture on the inside to probably the best view of the Eiffel Tower from a hotel in the entire city of paris!
 - We were in awe with the beautiful interior design, the iconic staircase and ballroom, the friendliness and service from the staff, and the breathtaking Eiffel Tower view from the balcony of our suite.
 - A stone’s throw away from the Eiffel Tower (I’m convinced you could literally throw a stone and hit it from the hotel room) and the Arc de Triomphe/ Champs- Elyssès • Amenities.
 - They also organised tickets for the boat cruise and Eiffel Tower.

 - -In the room, the thank you card had a mistake in my last name.
 - So, even if you have a reservation with a printed confirmation that they confirmed in advance and with your credit card and personal email to add to it, do not expect them to honor it.
 - even though when we checked in we were told we could do the breakfast or receive a $120 credit, upon checkout we were told we could not be credited.
 - As we do not want to change the rooms during our stay, apparently, after I called the hotel, I happened to talk to Xiao Jing who is in charge of Chinese guests, she and her collegues worked very hard and finally our booking were consolidated.
 - And no fear on going hungry - the Michelin starred dining options live up to their billing!
