However jam dispensers constantly empty, pancakes and waffles cold and the breakfast room itself freezing!

Negatives
Main big problem in Paris heat- no refrigerated air conditioning, they only have evaporated air conditioning.

The air con could have done with being turned up a notch in the hot weather.

We were besieged with electrical issues due to a faulty iron…twice it blew all the power points on two separate days….ultimately fixed after a couple of requests.

As regards the rest of the hotel, the service at the reception desk was poor in respect that we had explained the air conditioning issue to one of the receptionists who was going to fix the matter whilst we were out.

The website, app, and every document related to this hotel reservation indicated A/C would be available.

The air conditioning wasn't working the room was sooo hot!couldn't open windows because of noise.

The air conditioner struggled to keep up with the warm summer days in Paris, so sleeping was a bit sticky,

Stuff tells me that "AC is the same in all rooms".

The night before we left they offered us to change rooms, providing not feedback on the AC.

On the first night we arrived the air conditioning wasn't working satisfactorily, we reported this to reception and the next day they said they had changed the filter and it was (very slightly) better,

After 3 nights of waking up drenched in my own sweat and having considered all options (virus, aircon, stress, etc) I finally checked the bed and realised Novotel, a 4 star hotel, uses plastified matrass covers right under the bed sheet.

No portable heater available even I requested for one.

This could be such a good hotel if it would only do something about it's heating system!

Even so, we had only one outlet that was working in the whole unit.

For a 4 star hotel, the a/c definitely wasn't up to scratch and the breakfast was a mess - they could arrange two areas especially during high season.

The only complaint I might have was the air conditioning was not too powerful

They came to check the a/c and they said that it would not get colder.

The location is wonderful, in the center and just next to a main metro station.

The metro station is opposite the main entrance and if you're arriving in Paris by Eurostar it's just one stop on an RER D or B train from Gare du Nord.

Metro stations were right outside the hotel, and tons of restaurants were nearby.

the location was perfect for us, with a metro station right outside the door and just a 10 min walk from Notre Dame.

Metro station is right in front, Le Louvre is a 10 minute walk, so is Notre Dam.

Friendly staff, awesome breakfast & perfectly located near a major metro station with great connectivity across and outside of Paris.

We were steps from the metro station at Châtelet-Les Halles.

Metro station just a few feet away, easily walkable to the Louvre.

On the plus side: 
Great location - Châtelet metro station is right outside the hotel and so using public transport is super easy.

The metro station is literally 50 metres away to get everywhere around Paris.

but I would preferred to have a refrigerator, the hotel is well managed and clean the service was great, the hotel is close to all attractions, lots of restaurants and bars in the area, Metro station almost in the hotel, shopping center just behind the hotel and lots of other stores, overall very satisfied

The location is perfect right on Shatlet metro station, plenty of great restaurants and patisserie.

We stayed at Novotel Les Halles for 3 nights, excellent location, 1 minute walk from a very well-connected central train and metro station, Chatelete station.

Just outside the hotel there is the main station that most of metro lines interchange

The location is very central, close to a metro station, close to great shops, bakeries and restaurants.

Few steps from the huge train and metro station.

Besides that, the metro station Les Halles is one of the main one, so lots of lines stop at it, including the one to CDG.

10 steps from a major train and metro station so very quick to and from the airport.

The hotel is at a very convenient location just right beside the metro station.

But the worse was a fire drill that launched the alarms at 120db and where we were instructed by hotel personnel to stay in our room for several minutes.

Cons: 
in the middle of construction - loud construction noises/banging/drilling starting 10am everyday for the entire 6 days we stayed.

Negatives:
1) Currently, there are some road constructions going on, so hard to get Uber to come by.

There was some construction on the streets and some roads were closed so maybe that's the reason why the driver couldn't get any closer or maybe he didn't know the right way.

Hopefully all this construction work will be done soon and this will no longer be an issue.

Someone wrote about some metro construction, it´s all done now, and you can acces the metro-rer-station right on the front door of the hotel (exit Porte m. de Navarre).

NB, there is no place for taxi to come  near to the hotel due to the construction going on  (No problem for the noise).

The only disappointments were the slow check in and the noisy construction work outside,

The only inconvenience was getting to the hotel by taxi due to the construction work which is almost complete.

We found out that the construction has been ongoing for about a year.

Only downside is that it's under construction, so taxi cannot take you to front.

The construction around the hotel, which was a bit of a bummer, will be done by September.

The location's construction problem was not so bad because we didn't have massive suitcases.

The construction (for a metro station entrance/exit) in front of the hotel is almost over and should make it even better connected with the metro lines.

The roads surrounding the hotel are under construction which makes UBER and TAXI drop offs a little difficult

Location is very central, walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame, Metro (Les Halles) and the only issue is that because of the construction to Les Halles, taxis couldn't drop us at the hotel

but only after construction is fully completed.

The hotel is located next to the entrance to the Metro and the RER train, so it is very easy to reach from the airport and Gare du Nord.

I would recommend getting the no4 metro from the gare du nord if arriving by eurostar.

The Novotel is only one stop from Gare Du Nord station so excellent for travellers coming on the Eurostar.

This location is excellent (train from CDG goes right here, one stop past Gare du Nord).

We arrived in Paris by train at Gare du Nord.

It’s also with in a few stops from Gare du Nord and the station is right outside.

This is a good hotel in a very convenient location adjacent to the Les Halles underground station which is only 1 train stop from Gare du Nord and next to a big shopping centre.

One stop on the RER from Gare du Nord and located immediately next to the metro station.

For instance: we arrived and departed with the Thalys train from Gare du Nord and it is a direct non stop rode with RER B or D from there to the hotel.

Approx 40min walk from Gare du Nord or 10-15 mins via Metro.

However, this hotel is really centrally placed, with access to Gare du Nord, Notre Dame, The Louvre, Marais etc.

The hotel is literally beside the metro station which is just one metro stop from the Gare du Nord - couldn't be easier.

I would stay here again as it is perfectly located in the rer B and A, so you can get to gare du nord (1 stop), gare the lyon (1 stop), charles de Gaulle (45-60 min), orly (45 min).

I have travelled from UK via EURO Star, and this hotel is just two Metro stops from Gare du Nord.

But location between Gare du Nord and where I was working at Porte de Versailles made that acceptable.

If you're coming by Eurostar, it's only 1 stop from Gare du Nord.

Ps - on the Monday visit to Disney, it was our daughters 6th birthday.

Our girls loved the free ice cream in the afternoon!

We came as a family of 4 (2 kids age 7 and 10), and we had 2 connecting rooms.

We were there for  mother daughter birthday trip.

We were visiting with our son, daughter-in-law & our first grandson.

I am travelling with my teens so there are 4 of us.

Good room size, perfect for a family of two adults and two children to relax.

Sometimes they were handing out free ice cream cones in the middle of the afternoon, which my kids loved.

I came here with my two boys and I HAD REALLY GOOD TIME with my kids here.

The room which had a comfortable double for my husband and I plus a sofa bed for our daughter was excellent.

The WC near the hotel restaurants has a cutely set up, and there is also a childrens area which we thought was a thoughtful touch.

Kabira and Lucille helped us a lot to accommodate our need for room type

Our young adult children enjoyed the junior suite.

We had two kids (4 & 6) who really enjoyed the kids room.

The we made a note on our reservations that we had 2 children traveling with us and the staff decorated the room with balloons and provided coloring pages and color pencils for the kids.

Inside there was even a separate play space for young children!

My granddaughter and I met in Paris for a long weekend and completely enjoyed our stay at Novotel Paris Les Halles.

It has a large variety to choose from everything were delicious and the price seems to be a bargain as kid have breakfast for free.

Executive room with Queen size and sofà for two teens was nice and comfortable.

Hotel is incredibly well located for restaurants, shops, sightseeing and transport.

So - location wise this hotel could not have been more perfectly placed had we done it by hand.

Great ambiance, Great Food (Price-quality ratio is alright) and if You’re lucky You’ll be with Théo who is a great waiter. The Restaurant is located inside a hotel,

very good location exept that taxis cannot come up to main door so you need to walk a couple of meters to get to street.

Very good hotel, perfect location (there is a metro station right in front of it), outstanding breakfast (really good), the staff is very friendly and helpful (specially Paulo that speaks Portuguese and helped us Brazilians with some great insights about the local restaurants).

Novotel Les Halles is very well located, next to Westfield Forum Les Halles - a great mall, near RER and Metro.

This very nice hotel provides value for money in terms of location (atop a transport hub), great breakfast, nice and proficient staff.

If you want to be in St Michel and St Germain area, and also a bridge cross of 10 minute walk to  Arr 1, this is the place to stay.

LOCATION is fantastic, I loved the latin quarter and the area of St Michel in general.

Even when is situated in a crowded area, the hotel is calm, silent and cozy.

Located on the left bank in the Latin Quarter 5 minutes to Notre Damm and easily accessible by  metro to other areas.

The location is convenient and walkable to most areas.

The hotel was located in a very nice area with many restaurants and good transportation nearby.

The area is lively with many restaurants, cafes and shops.

There are many cafes, shops, and useful stores in the area.

The nightlife in the area is also always on, so keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

The room and bathroom were absolutely amazing, you could see the parisian streets and the bathroom was the perfect area to get ready, so if you can upgrade to a room with a bath it’s a MUST.

We had two balconies with tables and chairs to be able to enjoy the outside and the fun vibe of the area.

The area is nice if you like small restaurants and bars.

All in all a stay here is just perfect while visiting Paris… it was my first time in the city and I recommend this hotel and the area as it is centrally located.

It is near the St. Germain area and it is close to Notre Dame, and easy to get to the Muse d'Orsay and Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.

It was a perfect stay in this nice hotel in the center.

though you are in the center of the place to be, the room is very well isolated; when you close the windows, you might as well be in the country, almost no noise from the street.

The hotel and staff were all fantastic and this was an amazing location right in the center and close to everything we wanted to see.

Although my room was small it did have a balcony with table and two chairs, very welcome in the warm weather & a plus for a room in the city centre!

There's a metro station right around the corner too so it was easy to catch the train from CDG airport and when we wanted to go further north in the city.

We Stayed for 4 nights - and we have never felt so recharged after a good Night sleep… it’s a perfect place for a weekend in the great city of Paris, with a lidt of good restaurants nearby.

Metro is few steps down, facilitating transportation across the entire city.

Excellent for an introduction to the city, the night lights in the monuments are a must.

Every Hotel employee we had interaction with were professional , friendly and informative .Upon arrival we were checked into a room that was not up tp our standards and were offered an excellent alternative .It made a trip to a beautiful city more wonderful. .

The location was perfect for exploring the city as its close to many sites, just steps away from the metro and on a train line for CDG.

In a city known for cramped spaces at high prices, this hotel is a gem.

It is really convenient for the Eurostar from Gare Du Nord, because it is two stops along the high speed underground RER line.

Just back from a one night trip to Paris - Hotel Europe Saint Severin is a small, friendly hotel a 2 minute walk from St Michel Metro station - on the same line as Gare du Nord.

The location is very central and all most next door to the RER (so easy to reach for Gare du Nord).

The Saint-Michel Notre-Dame station is just a couple of stops from the main Paris train station of Gare du Nord and about a minute's walk from the hotel.

Just two stops from Gare du Nord on the metro.

A fantastic location near Notre Dame, the metro and RER, making getting there from Gare Du Nord or CDG easy.

Wifi worked well in the hotel and location wise it's about a 20minute drive away from Gare Du Nord for the eurostar- just a tip though, the taxis from the station rip you off big time!

On line 4 from Gare du Nord about six stops and a very short walk.

Great location with literally one minute metro and RER both A and B access.
