The daily breakfast was made to order along with a beautiful tiered selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries brought to your table.

The bar is nice and the breakfast very good.

The hotel served breakfast every morning that is absolutely delicious.

So because our ride was waiting, we lugged the luggage up and down the stairs to the elevator ourselves.

The elevator is really small and could barely fit 2 people and 2 luggages.

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

The team is very friendly, always looking to help you.

Staff were very friendly and polite and the concierge were very helpful in making a reservation on my behalf to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday.

Finally, excellent staff throughout the hotel - service at breakfast, cleaners, bar staff and at reception - all friendly, helpful and professional.

The location is good for termini, the fountain, and many museums.

The location was excellent for getting to museums and the Spanish steps.

Not too far from the hustle and bustle of the Spanish Steps and the Borghese Museum lies a quite nice and inviting hotel, the Barocco.

This is a great location off the Piazza Barberini within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps among other great sites and museums.

It's within walking distance of all the great sites and museums.

The Barberini Museum, the Triton Fountain, and a Metro stop are across the street.

The cappuchin Franciscan human bone decorated church is just 2 minute walk from the hotel (great, interesting and off the beaten path museum).

Plus it is conveniently located near a Metro for those who want to see other attractions (e.g. Vatican Museum, etc.)

We walked to Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Borghese Museum, Piazza Del Popolo, etc.

From this hotel we were able to walk to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, forum and coliseum as well as the Borgese Museum.

From the Metro we made it to our tour group on the steps of the Vatican Museum (two stops) and to the Coliseum (to the train station and then transfer).

Centrally located , has access to all avenues which a tourist ids looking for,say Metro, shopping, museums, eating etc.

4) Book tickets ahead of time to all the sites and museums especially the Vatican Museum and the Colosseum.

A good tip for the Vatican museum, (sistine chapel) book online prior to going, and this really saves the queues.

The staff at the hotel are amazing - from pre-booking advance tickets to the Vatican Museum to recommending local restaurants - nothing is too much trouble.

I would also recommend the museum in Palazzo Barberini.

That said, the best part of the hotel is the staff - they were unfailingly helpful with directions, securing museum tickets, and assisting us in getting the most out of our time in Rome.

Hotel is centrally located in Piazza Bernini-close and easy walking to all the sights and shopping and restaurants are everywhere.

It was a great location within easy walking distance to many sights and surrounded by numerous great restaurants.

The location as perfect: it was central to many of the wonderful sights of Rome, and convenient to the metro.

The hotel, located in the Piazza Barberini, is close to all the main sights including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gallery, Pantheon, Colosseum etc.etc.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.

Our room was a bit small and lacked a full length mirror (one was provided on request),

We were supposedly given a room upgrade and our room was tiny, I dread to think what room we would have had.

The room might be a bit small similar to all other hotels in the center

Note that rooms are on  the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.

There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before.

At 12 sq meters, I knew my room would be small and it was.

Location is great, via Vento  meets Berbarini around the corner, cool feel, 15 mins or so walk to the heart of things, there's a metro at the square and there's a lovely walk to the Spanish steps which are very close, nice walk up from the hotel brings you out at the top of the steps.
