That benefit allowed us to take a break and recharge at various spots near places like the Arc de Triomphe and Sacred Heart Basilica before heading back out on our exploration of the great city.

We walked from the Arc de Triomphe to the hotel - it was a great way to explore.

We walked to the Arc de Triomphe which took about an hour that was an extremely pleasant trip.

The staff were able to provide ideas for visiting the sites and were also able to book tickets for Seine cruise, Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre.

It is easy to walk to and from the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower and Montmartre etc as long as you are reasonably mobile (and have comfortable shoes!).

We walked to the Louvre, Musee d’Orsey, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Musee Rodin.

You are close to the Louvre and the City Island where Notre Dame is - other sites (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe) are a little far,

We were able to enjoy coffee and a clean restroom near Arc de Triomphe and Saint Honore.

It is situated a few blocks from the Louvre, and we walked daily to so many other Paris landmarks because of its central location.

The staff was amazing, water and other refreshments were always waiting in my room.

Our room was very cool and included a loft room which my daughter loved.

The room furniture is a mixture of traditional and modern style, the mini bar is included in the price.

The staff was delightful, the rooms were exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities provided an extra touch of luxury.

Mentioned our anniversary when I booked and when we returned to the room on the big day we were met with a bottle of champagne on ice and some snacks with a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary.

The front desk personnel (Princess and another young lady) were simply engaging and gave us directions to every place imaginable in the area.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff at reception.

Finally, the staff was very extremely attentive and always helpful.

Each evening when we returned another cheerful greeting.

• Unfortunately, the walls aren’t soundproofed (therefore 4 rating points) -

Location is perfect, within 3 min from the metro station (Rome), walkable distance to Galeries Lafayette, Moulin Rouge, we even walked from the hotel to Champs Élysées and we were just fine (but you can take a metro that takes you right in front of the Arc de Triomphe which is easier).

We walked to the Arc de Triomphe from our hotel too.

Once you walk through the parc, you have be at the arc de triomphe about a further 10 minutes away by foot.

The hotel is within easy walking distance to the arc de triomphe, and Montmartre .Within walking distance there are quite a few bistro's and restaurants definitely spoilt for choice .

The hotel is right near the Rome Metro station so everything is in easy access, its a walk to the Moulin Rouge and a walk to Arc de triomphe.

We have stayed here twice now and would highly recommend it. The hotel is well situated, about 4 stops on the Metro from the main sites (Arc de Triomphe,  Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower etc.)

Located about 20 minutes from montmartre centre, 15 minutes from Arc de Triomphe and 10 minutes from Moulin Rouge, the Astoria Astotel is located ideally.

It is an easy walk from Gare Saint Lazare, which is only 1 stop from Gard du Nord(Magenta), and within less than 10 minutes you can get from the hotel to the Arc de triomphe.

Few minutes from many monuments (Arc de Triomphe, Sacré Coeur ect) The rooms are very comfy and well furnished, I have slept like a baby!

For those who like to walk, Sacré-Cœur, Arc de Triomphe and Place Vendôme are all reachable in half an hour or so.

It is in easy walking distance of a subway stop so you can easily get to all the favorite tourist sites (Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc) within 15 to 20 minutes.

Great location as well, very close to Rome metro station and with bakeries and supermarkets just around the corner.

Convenient and safe location with many eateries in the vicinity and nearby Rome n Europe metro stations.

It was a good stay in hotel, Metro station Rome was just few a mins walk away.

Just spent 3 nights here, the hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the Rome metro station.

Two different metro stations within easy walking distance.

The hotel is convenient to a few different metro stations and bus stops.

2-3 metro stations far from Montmartre, decent breakfast spread.

We had a really nice stay in this hotel, location is great, 2 near Metro stations, the street is very quiet so we are always rested after days of exploring.

Nearest metro station is Europe, barely 5 minutes walking.

The hotel is just near the Rome metro station via which you can travel to the hearth of Paris .

The position was perfect, 100 mt from Rome Metro Station and very close to La Fayette, Opera Theathre and 20 min walking from Place Vendome.

The hotel was lovely, less than 1 minute walk from Rome metro station.

It was near everything, including a nearby grocery, shopping areas, nearby Metro station Rome, and just a nice area to practically go everywhere.

Only drawback is the lift is a bit small and difficult to use when there’s lot of people.

though with the lift (elevator), it’s really small.

but i think they should mention it as some people cant stand the heat even in may, the elevator is so small but it shouldn't be a problem if you are a family of 3 and no stroller, we had to put the stroller in reception as it was no room for that in our room.

Be aware when reception tell you to get the first lift it is tiny!

but gets no sunlight at all so is always quite dark and dismal and not good if you are at all claustrophobic it is also right next to the lift shaft so can be noisy for the breakfast rush.

The lift use stopped around midnight and seemed to recommence around 05:30/6am so we got very little sleep.

The lift is gorgeous and teeny, nothing we’ve seen before.

Oh yes, they have a small elevator so heavy, bulky luggage isn't  a problem.

The lift didnt go as far as my floor so had to take the last floor using the stairs.

although more should be done to the toilet. Hotel lift was exceptionally small - can take at max 2 people & 2 pieces of luggage (which is a good experience!)

There is a smallish lift available that goes up to the fifth floor and then a short flight of stairs up to the top, sixth, floor.

On the day of our check out, the lift broke down.

When it was ready, we went to the elevator.

But the elevator is quite small, can’t accommodate more than 3 adults Sleeping quality is great, the working AC did not have any noise.

We used stairs as the elevator was small .

The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Great hotel, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff whether at the counter or in the restaurant (Pal especially).

Like to comment on the staff at the breakfast area, Arleen and Pal who are so friendly and nice to talk to.

Friendly front desk and breakfast table staff esp Pal and Arleen who make us feel welcome and attentive to our needs.

I liked the free minibar for soft drinks and water and the free snacks in the lobby.

The free soft drinks mini-bar is also really convenient because you don't need to be worried if you are thirsty in the middle of the night.

They also restock the room's mini bar daily with water and soft drinks.

Lots of welcoming touches like snacks in the lobby and cold soft drinks in the room fridge.

Free soft drinks in the fridge were welcome.Decor was nice and attractive.The rooms were not cleaned well during our stay.Breakfast was good and thanks to TJ for letting us eat early because lady named merly was little snobbish when we wanted because she said its too early.Overall nothing to complain about the reception and was helpful

Also they have a snacks station almost all day where you can get soft drinks and snacks for free.

The fridge is stocked daily and free of charge with water and soft drinks and everyday in the hotel from 2 pm there are free soft drinks, water and snacks available and you can also access this at their other 12 hotels around Paris  by showing your room key.

There is also a free soft drinks mini bar which is replenished daily.

Very comfortable location, in each room in a frigo bar free soft drink, the same in the hall, After 2pm until midnight.

We made great use of the free minibar and soft drinks, as well as visiting other hotels around the area.

We had the superior room with spacious bed, mini bar with free soft drinks and adequate bath room.

The free soft drinks in the room were appreciated and refilled everyday.

I appreciated the free soft drinks and water in the room.

The complimentary soft drink&snack is a real gift after walking all day.

Charming Hotel, everyone very friendly and helpful, nice touches for guests like free soft drinks, convenient check in and out times, fantastic breakfast as well and everything kept really clean and tidy.

There is a kettle and a free minibar with soft drinks in the room.

The hotel offers snacks 2pm-late for free and free minibar access (a small selection of soft drinks) which was enjoyable.

Only downside that takes a bit of getting used to is that the walls are thin, so you can hear other guests voices

And also the walls are thin, you can here everything.

The walls are quite thin so I would bring ear plugs.

You much check the stairs with polka dots walls.

The walls are a little thin so you could hear the room next door if the guests were a bit on the noiser side,

The only negative comment I would say is room 123 has no outlook apart from plain white walls.

The walls are thin and the decor is in need of restoration in places.

Cons:

- There is wall to wall carpet everywhere which is not quite 2019 and does not look very clean, especially for some reason there is a round carpet under the main breakfast buffet table which seems to be past its due date.

The only drawback was the thin wall between the room and our neighbours' bathroom, so sometimes we could hear a little more than we wanted,

Advises to Astoria: 
1-Please, enhance furnishing issue inside rooms, by adding a sofa or 2 arms chairs with a table/ desk, and a tableau or a wall paper on the bed head wall will enhance the aesthetic look of the room.

I could barely stand sideways in it and at any point, you would either touch the shower curtain or the wall!

The walls are very thin and we could hear everything from our neighbouring guests.

Also the finish on things is not great - shabby paintwork on skirtings, walls etc.

So 11pm hits and our ‘neighbours’ arrive back girls drunk and the walls are paper thin, they screamed like toddlers for what steamed like hours.

Walls are really thin and the rooms doors are very close to each other.

but in need of some TLC, the shower head kept slipping down the pole and kept turning itself towards the wall, there were cracks in the tiles and the paintwork could do with a touch up.

Also, supermarket right next to the hotel

Cons:

Standard room very small & in need of some renovation & some color, especially in the bathroom
Also, the toilet is placed very close to the wall, so it gets a bit cramped
No variety in breakfast- every day is the same
Also, no vegetables at all during breakfast

Stayed here for a few nights with my two children, the location is great with a couple of Metro stations within an easy walk, can get to the Arc de Triomphe in 15 mins.

but enjoyable walk to The Louvre, Arc De Triomphe, and The Eiffel Tower.

Another day we walked to Louvre, Place de Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Rue Moufftard and back in a day with eats and drinks along the way.

Very close to Blanche metro stop, which is about 6-7 stops from the arc de triomphe.

Metro just 2 mins walk which is really easy to use; we walked to the Louvre one day and then Eiffel Tower via Arc de Triomphe the next, lovely walks and we got to see so much more.

Is a very good option because you can connect with place clichy, also Charles de Gaulle Étoile (where arc de triomphe is), and then move to trocadero where eiffel tower is.

Also top location, close to 2 metro stations.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the metro station is very close by.

There’s also a metro station close by - Blanche and Pigalle is also a short walk away.

Very well located close to Blanche and Place de Clichy Metro stations and not too far from Gare du Nord too.

Location also convenient, walking distance to Montmartre and near the metro station.

Perfect located to do a city-trip, metro and bus stations in front of the hotel.

It was the perfect location to stay in, close to everything including bus and metro stations,

Very good hotel, the location is few mins walk to some metro stations, very friendly and helpful staff, I took one of the bigger rooms and it was very nice considering most hotels in Paris are rather small, have a bathtub too so was nice to have a bath after a long day of walking

2 minutes walk to Moulin Rogue and the Blanche metro station.

The Moulin Rouge and Blanche Metro station were only 200 metres away at the end of the street.

Metro travel to other parts of Paris was very straightforward- the metro station (Blanche) is a few minutes away.

5 min walk to Mullen rouge and the metro station.

Hotel is a five-minute walk to Moulin Rouge and Blance Metro station.

Right next to the metro stations and next to grocery stores.
