although there is construction across the street, that can be noticed at times.

Across the Place, there was construction of a new multi-story building, so noise was a problem between around 8am to 5pm approx.

There was construction going on, so the small square facing the hotel was quite noisy at times.

The bedroom overlooked the opera area which is sadly under construction on the lower level

One thing it was not good is the front of the hotel(^_^;)It was middle of construction

but had wished they warned us about the construction.

The nearest metro station (Richelieu Drouot) was closed for construction,

The issue that compromised our stay was the construction.

My only complaint was that there was some hideous construction going on nearby that woke everyone up at 8 am with earth shattering crashing,

It's a rare thing, so imagine how disappointing it was on our 2 night stay in Paris, one of the few times we might have actually been able to sleep past 6:30am, to be woken up at 8am sharp by loud construction.

There was some construction going on out in front of the hotel during our visit, which made for a less than spectacular building facade and entrance,

but the sidewalk is still cut up, so I suspect there may be follow-on construction at a later date.

Would have been very quiet if not for the noise of road construction -no fault of hotel!

It spoilt breakfast having a pneumatic drill about 2 foot away from you and the noise was deafening.

I loved that they kept the original ceiling wool construction and just painted to match the interior.

There was some construction noise in the morning from an adjacent building and they play music in the hallways almost 24 hours a day it seemed.

The rooms and lobby of the hotel are very nicely decorated.

I had a super comfortable bed, a luxurious bath tub, impeccable & friendly service, tasty breakfast, beautiful interior decor throughout the hotel, with a fabulous location to explore Paris.

This is a truly charming and intimate little hotel located not far from the famous Paris Opera House.

Just to be a pedant & mention a con, the sauna doesn’t really warm up properly (or takes a long time).

Our two families stayed 5 nights at La Maison Favart in Paris, next to Opera Comique, walking distance to many sites in the center of Paris, such as Louvre or Place de la Concorde.

Slap bang in the middle of Paris - we walked to the Louvre, Place de La Concorde, L’Opera and in heels no less !!

This hotel is situated in a quiet central area and you can easily get to many places without public transport or taxi: Place de la Concorde and Champs-Elysees Avenue are in 15-20 minute walk, Notre Dame de Paris and Louvre are in 30 minute and Monmartre – within 25.

Thank goodness we arrived at this comfortable hotel two blocks east of L' Opera and near the Louvre and Place de la Concorde ( 5 mins by Metro ) we loved this neighborhood and all the theatrical themes which define each suite.

Also an easy 20 minutes walk to the Louvre, or place de la Concorde.

The hotel is an good location, you can walk to the big department stores in 5 mins, the Place de la Concorde in about 15.

The hotel is well placed to walk up to Montmartre (about a 15 or 20 minute walk to Sacre Coeur) and a similar walk to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, etc.

Close to several metro stops 2-5 mins max allowing us to easily visit Place de la Concorde, Tour Eiffel, Champs-Élysées and Sacré-Cœur/Montmartre at a leisurely pace and still have time to relax in the hotel.

Walkable to Place de la Concorde, the Tuilerie gardens, the Louvre and the bottom end of the Champs Elysee and there are 3 Metro stations in easy reach.

Very cozy, the employees were very nice with the customers and the rooms were top notch.

The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast fresh and plentiful, and the whole family enjoyed the pool and spa facilities, especially the water massage bed!

Room was clean and quiet with a great view of the opera.

The fridge was well stocked and the coffee in the room was yummy.

We enjoyed staying here on our family trip to Paris (two kids, parents & grandma - we had three rooms in total).

When we arrived back later that evening our luggage was in our room which was wonderful.

Upon arrival we’d already been upgraded to the Chantilly Suite, which has both a spacious living room and bedroom and was beautifully decorated.

Our room was spotless, and we had amazing water pressure in the shower!

Our room was comfortable, with a view over a quiet square.

Cons were that two of our rooms were quite small, the lift could be slow to arrive, and there was some kind of strong perfume in the lobby most days.

although rooms are a little small, the facilities and team are amazing.

The room was small and the balcony view was the wall of another building, so we didn’t use it.

I will say the rooms are a bit small by American standards,

As the floor space in the room is compromised by the main stairwell, we did find the shower room particularly small so perhaps ask for another room if space is an issue.

The fitness room is very basic - no hand weights, the room was on the small side and the air con wasn't up to much, so we wouldn't recommend staying there in the height of summer.

Our room was very small and definitely did not have a King size bed as advertised for all rooms.

but I we picked a small room since we were moving around town.

That being said, the room was very small, barely holding a queen side bed.

Rooms are small (typical for Paris hotels in my experience)

The staff was five stars plus - they were all so nice and helpful (front desk, bellman, housekeeping, breakfast staff).

Hotel is only a minute away from Saint Georges metro station was very convenient also about 15 mins walk from Opera.

The Metro station is just at the bottom of the street and is on a well connected line.

A great place to stay for exploring Paris - Pigalle and Montmatre within walking distance and if you don’t fancy a longer stroll into central Paris then Saint George’s metro station is literally across the road.

Nice hotel, real near Saint Georges metro station, clean and friendly, with a great idea on complementary food and drinks all the time.

Ideally located in the 9th arrondissement, 50m away from St Georges metro station, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, cozy rooms with a free non alcoholic mini bar, overall excellent value for that area.

I stayed for a conference that was held in Aubervilliers and the metro station is conveniently a minute away from the hotel.

There are plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants nearby, and St Georges metro station is just two minutes away.

The location is great near the Saint George Metro station, shops and restaurants.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the location was amazing near the metro station and several shops and restaurants.

St George's Metro Station wasn't even a minute's walk away.

The hotel is located only 50 meters away from St George metro station, which was not running any service due to strikes.This did not deter neither disappointed us, because it gave us a great opportunity to walk around the city A LOT!

It was easy to get to all the places of interest as the metro station was just across the road and there was a regular little bus service to Montmartre, via Pigalle, which stopped outside.

It’s located in a cool little neighborhood, just steps away from the St. Georges Metro station.

Pros - Snacks in the lobby, front desk staff was helpful, close to bars and restaurants, cafes, close to the metro station at St Georges.

There is a Metro station (Saint Georges) about 100 yards down the road which gives easy access to whole of the city.

Being close to the metro station was a boon. 2.

Breakfast was really good for Paris, location is convenient (several different metro stations within a short walk).

Loads of good restaurants close by, right on the bus stop and 50 yrds to St George’s metro station so easy to get anywhere.

We loved everything about it, from the great neighborhood, to the comfortable room, to the cool vibe, to the great breakfast.

Lobby is nicely decorated where you will find free coffee, juices, candies, cookies, cakes, etc.

They even put up the banners I'd brought with me and decorated the room as a surprise.

Our room was lovely; bright and spacious with two floor to ceiling windows overlooking a park .

Cozy rooms and perfect and breakfast has a lot of variety.

Hotel Lorette is a great 3 star hotel in the now trendy Pigalle area of Paris.

Breakfast in a charming lower ground cellar, bright and airy.

The hotels interiors, cleanliness, hospitality were all good.

and was very clean and had a wonderful parquet style wood floor rather than dated and worn carpet.

My favourite part was the location, there was a lot of bars and restaurants nearby and a great atmosphere, in an area that is not overly touristic while also being walking distance to montmartre, opera and most of the places I enjoy visiting when I come to Paris.

All in all, such a gem and such a good atmosphere.

All in all a bright, cheerful, clean, comfortable, and convenient place with good people in it.

Very nice location, if you love to walk you can enjoy many landmarks around, from Montmartre, to Madeleine, down to Faubourg Saint Honoré street, place Vendôme and the Louvre museum.

A fine location for seeing the sites, many of which are bookable.

Excellent aspects were:

- location in beautiful Saint-Georges away from the crowds and tourist traps common in other areas of Paris

St George metro just a few steps away and only a few stops to Place de la Concorde so very convenient for all the sights.

Almost across from a direct subway line to Sacre Coeur, Place de la Concorde and Musee d’Orsay, which is very convenient (but for very light sleepers, beware, you can hear it a little at night till about 1am, when subway closes).

All this, minutes from Montmartre, near a very convenient subway line (direct to Sacre Coeur, Place de la Concorde and Musee d’Orsay), in a very stylish

The location is a 50 meter walk to the Saint George metro station which is just a few stops to Place de la Concorde.

There is a metro stop just outside the hotel and you can travel directly to the Place de la Concorde and the Left Bank in a few minutes.

But one thing to be aware of and expected is the rooms are small and tight next to each other.

Like most Paris hotels, the rooms were a bit on the small side

I have stayed in extremely crowded cities like NYC for instance, and never had such a small room. 2.

Rooms are small,  even for European standards,

When the room is small you want to maximize the space as much as possible.

Loved the complimentary soft drinks & cakes.

Complimentary minibar was a godsend - after walking in the scorching heat all day we came back to nice chilled water and soft drinks and a spotlessly tidy room.

Complimentary cake, hot drinks and cold are always available in reception and also complimentary soft drinks in the rooms.

Free soft drinks in the minibar, and cakes, biscuits and hot drinks available in the foyer were a well-appreciated perk.

Every day in the lobby they had unlimited tea, coffee, chocolate and a fridge with soft drinks , water, pepsi, iced tea.

The room itself was spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated the ( free) minbar of soft drinks, which was replenished every day.

Every day in the lobby we have soft drinks, coffe and cake .The location was good and very close to the subway.

In the afternoon, a very nice cake with coffee, tea and soft drinks are offered.

The rooms are nice and comfortable, the free soft drinks a highly appreciated bonus and the breakfast far better than usual for a 3*** hotel.

We also liked the complimentary soft drinks in the mini fridge and enjoyed the free snacks and hot drinks available in reception each afternoon.

I came back to the hotel for the third time this august and just enjoyed my stay very much) Cosy room with the wonderful city view, good breakfast, you can also have snacks & soft drinks in the lobby - it makes your stay even more pleasant, like at home) Moreover, the metro is just right the corner!

The staff are friendly and efficient, the hotel well-managed and there are some little extras which add to the generally positive experience - such as the free cold water, orange juice and soft drinks in the mini-bar and access to snacks in all the hotels of the same chain across the city. Downsides?

Free soft drinks and snacks was a nice amenity and the breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful,

The rooms was spacious and very clean with plenty of storage for clothes and also includes a safe and a free soft drink minbar, which was a very welcome touch.

The hotel was very clean the staff excellent and every thing that was promised was delivered, the breakfast was included cooked and continental as much as you wished to have, Tea/Coffee in the rooms as well as a free mini bar with soft drinks, Free drinks in the down stairs waiting area and after 2pm free snacks very pleasant would go again, the closest metro about 90 seconds away great way to get around

The complimentary toiletries were lovely in the bathroom and having a stocked mini bar with soft drinks was SO handy.

A very nice hotel with a good breakfast selection and complimentary soft drinks available  thee and also in their sister hotels.

The Astotel chain offer a wonderful service.During the afternoon and evening you can visit any one of their Paris chain to have a soft drink,hot drink and use the WC.This is great when you are walking around visiting different areas.

There is a nice cafe on the corner where you can start your day or end it.

The location is excellent; the Jardin des Tuileries is just at the end of the street, Rue Saint-Honoré around the corner & great cafes & restaurants surrounding the hotel.

You are near the Concorde with close Metro stops, the Vendome is a short walk, they have a wonderful bar, and a nice Cafe is on the corner.

The location is very central to Champs-Elysees and Tuilerie Gardens, plus there are some lovely cafes on both corners of this quiet street.

While not in the most bustling neighborhood we found three excellent restaurants with in five minutes of the hotel, the Imperial Cafe at the corner offered very nice food as well.

All the surrounding of the hotel is perfect, with a metro station close by, the parc "Des Tuileries" right in front, a lots of nice restaurants just in the corner with many varieties such as Thai, souffle, Tapas or regular French Brasserie.

We found the prices at the hotel and the corner cafe to be "reasonable"; we are used to New York prices.

Corner restaurant next door had excellent food and was reasonably priced.

Very, very clean
Competitvely priced
Near Hotel Maurice & Hotel de Crillion

Cons:
No large lobby or bar space (think "Luxury Boutique Hotel")

Stay here again?

We chose to eat at a cafe on the corner which had great omlettes.

Around the corner is a  cafe with good food, if you want to have a quiet dinner after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel kept the our entire payment for our three-night stay and would not allow us a credit.

The last day we were charged for the full breakfast instead of the buffet, other than that, we had a very good time.

For security reasons the hotel and houses had turned off all the lights in the street the hotel was in we went back still cars burning in the area we we were faced with another charge and CS gas was deployed over towards the park my eyes started to smart in the ensuing chaos I couldn’t find the hotel in the dark it was very scary indeed.

The negative - An extra charge for breakfast (15 euro per person) so we didn't eat there.

Other notes:
The hotel keys are not electronic swipe cards that I have been used to.

They gave me a "deal" by "only" charging me equivalent of $6 per day.

Lo and behold, that afternoon we checked (using our smartphone), and we were already charged.
