A walk to the Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, West Bank and Latin 1/4, so, so easy, do not forget to go on the pilgrimage to the legendary book shop Shakespeare & Co. and my most favorite gallery Musée d'Orsay and of course stop by the Louvre on your way.

La Maison Favart is also a comfortable walk to destinations such as the Louvre, Champs Elysees, etc.

The hotel is approximately 20 - 30 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions like the Louvre / Champs Elysée's, which on gorgeous spring days like we had was no effort,

This hotel is situated in a quiet central area and you can easily get to many places without public transport or taxi: Place de la Concorde and Champs-Elysees Avenue are in 15-20 minute walk, Notre Dame de Paris and Louvre are in 30 minute and Monmartre – within 25.

Metro station right there too takes you straight to madeleine district for upscale shops, Eiffel Tower, champs (touristy, avoid).

Hotel is also conveniently located in the heart of the city next to a metro station making visits to louvre eiffel towel champs elysees and other museums very easy

Overall great experience

The hotel is reasonably centrally located, about a 15-20 minute walk down to the Louvre/Champs Elysee area.

It was walking distance from the Champs Elysees, Eifel tower and Musee du Louvre.

to the Eiffel Tower and Champs De Elysee.

though it may take you some time (the furthest we walked was 35min to the champs elysees.

It's not too far to walk to the Louvre and Tuileries, and the walk from the hotel through some of Paris's most "haute" shopping streets to the Champs Elysees while long is like a self-guided tour of high style and fashion (and you'll likely as not encounter a celebrity or two along the way).

Location was also great, we walked to most of the famous sites including the Champs Elysses, Louvre, and there were lots of nice restaurants locally.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic area in the Opera district, very near to the metro and within walking distance of the Champs Elysees.

but away from the riff raff of American-ized hotels on the Champs Elysee (this was a selling point for us).

Louvre is 10 minutes, Champs Elysee 15 minutes walking steadily.

Close to several metro stops 2-5 mins max allowing us to easily visit Place de la Concorde, Tour Eiffel, Champs-Élysées and Sacré-Cœur/Montmartre at a leisurely pace and still have time to relax in the hotel.

A wonderful hotel with fine service, well situated in Paris with fifteen minute walking access to the Louvre, l'Orangerie, the Champs Elysee and many good restaurants.

Walkable to Place de la Concorde, the Tuilerie gardens, the Louvre and the bottom end of the Champs Elysee and there are 3 Metro stations in easy reach.

although there is construction across the street, that can be noticed at times.

Across the Place, there was construction of a new multi-story building, so noise was a problem between around 8am to 5pm approx.

There was construction going on, so the small square facing the hotel was quite noisy at times.

The bedroom overlooked the opera area which is sadly under construction on the lower level

One thing it was not good is the front of the hotel(^_^;)It was middle of construction

but had wished they warned us about the construction.

The nearest metro station (Richelieu Drouot) was closed for construction,

The issue that compromised our stay was the construction.

My only complaint was that there was some hideous construction going on nearby that woke everyone up at 8 am with earth shattering crashing,

It's a rare thing, so imagine how disappointing it was on our 2 night stay in Paris, one of the few times we might have actually been able to sleep past 6:30am, to be woken up at 8am sharp by loud construction.

There was some construction going on out in front of the hotel during our visit, which made for a less than spectacular building facade and entrance,

but the sidewalk is still cut up, so I suspect there may be follow-on construction at a later date.

Would have been very quiet if not for the noise of road construction -no fault of hotel!

It spoilt breakfast having a pneumatic drill about 2 foot away from you and the noise was deafening.

I loved that they kept the original ceiling wool construction and just painted to match the interior.

There was some construction noise in the morning from an adjacent building and they play music in the hallways almost 24 hours a day it seemed.

The rooms and lobby of the hotel are very nicely decorated.

I had a super comfortable bed, a luxurious bath tub, impeccable & friendly service, tasty breakfast, beautiful interior decor throughout the hotel, with a fabulous location to explore Paris.

This is a truly charming and intimate little hotel located not far from the famous Paris Opera House.

we were in a standard room, so the others are presumably even nicer

If you can imagine an interior stateroom on a cruise ship, then that’s your balcony room at La Maison Favart.

It’s a great location, very friendly staff with comfortable accommodation and surroundings.

Our room was well decorated, comfortable and quiet.

Fantastic hotel with beautifully decorated rooms, great balcony views, and incredible service.

Cons were that two of our rooms were quite small, the lift could be slow to arrive, and there was some kind of strong perfume in the lobby most days.

although rooms are a little small, the facilities and team are amazing.

The room was small and the balcony view was the wall of another building, so we didn’t use it.

I will say the rooms are a bit small by American standards,

As the floor space in the room is compromised by the main stairwell, we did find the shower room particularly small so perhaps ask for another room if space is an issue.

The fitness room is very basic - no hand weights, the room was on the small side and the air con wasn't up to much, so we wouldn't recommend staying there in the height of summer.

Our room was very small and definitely did not have a King size bed as advertised for all rooms.

but I we picked a small room since we were moving around town.

That being said, the room was very small, barely holding a queen side bed.

About a 10 to 15 minute walk to main attractions in the Marais, Champs Elysee, major department stores, Notre Dame, etc.

We've stayed in Montmartre, on the Champs-Elysees and other areas.

We like to walk, so we dandered the whole way up the Champs Elysees and back, which was enjoyable,

It is a 20 minute metro ride to the city centre or champs élysées

The Metropolitan stop is a block away, so you can easily travel cheap to places like Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tour, Champs, or need to get to CDG.

Hotel as such is located on a perfect place - walking distance to Montmartre, Champs Elysees, Eiffel tower.

A much more authentic neighborhood than in the 1st, the Champs Elysee or the Latin Quarter.

It was exceptional to return to 123 after a long day at the Louvre and walking  the Champs élysées.

Location is very central and walking distance to all the hotspots without being on the hustle & bustle of the Champs-Élysées.

Close enough to the Seine, Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Louvre / D'Orsay / L'Orangerie, one can walk to these sights if one is being tourist in this city for the first time.

Walking distance to G Pompidou, to Le Marais (great shopping area), 20 min by metro from the Champs Elysee, and 20 min to the Gare de Lyon.

There was little hanging room even for only 3 nights stay and particularly with winter coats etc.

Our room was a bit small (no closet or dresser, there is a clothes hanging rack and shelf),

My only complaint was not enough hanging and storage space so we had to keep a lot in suitcases.

On the negative side, the room was really small with no closets.

The only problem was lack of closet and draw space in The room.

My only real gripe is that there is no storage in the room; we had an open hanging area with about 6 coathangers, and one shelf, between two adults.

First up this hotel had no closet,no dressers and was considered 4+ rating.

The cons - no clothes closet with limited hangars and the room is a tad small

One thing I would say is that room we had was quite small and there isn't a lot of storage in the room, only a canvass wardrobe

but not large: bed, desk, open style rack/shelves for clothes and bathroom with full size shower. Room had a wall mounted TV, ihome clock radio, in-room safe and mini frig with complementary non-alcoholic beverages, or space to put your own F&B (with several min-marts and a supermarket within a 2 block walk.)

Towels were a hit and miss ~ some days no wash clothes, some days no hand towels.

Any longer might have been slightly challenging given the very limited places to hang and put clothes -

Our only issue was finding enough room to hang up clothes.

but small and very, very little place for hanging clothes or putting clothes away.

And there was no dresser with drawers for my clothes.

but she like to have drawers to put clothes in.

I loved and enjoyed staying at this stylish hotel with friendly staffs.

The Hotel is very tastefully decorated throughout with a quirky theme of Movie Director s and their Films.

The overarching theme is fun with film props & decor all over the hotel and rooms, including its own cinema.

From the service, to the decor, cleanliness, location, price, breakfast, bed comfort,  it is a true 5 stars!

Lovely hotel, nice size rooms, eclectic modern decor and really well located not far from George Pompidou centre.

Such a cool theme of cinema and film, which gives the hotel an unusual and stylish feel.

but with a convenient Metro stop only one block south (providing both north-south and east-west lines) and a central location that puts you at the heart of downtown Paris, anything in the city is easily accessible from here). It's the best of both world--you're only minutes' walk from trendy destinations (the Marais, the Louvre, etc.)

rooms are done with the cinematic taste and looks very chic.

Ignore the comments about the kitschy decor.

We sat and unwound after our 14 hour journey from Hong Kong in such an amazing environment.

We read about the tiny rooms in Paris and the bedbugs and hence approached the hotel with apprehension.

Rooms are a little small by US standards,

Rooms on the small side and could use some maintenance (drywall putty in bathroom was an eyesore and shelf falling down)

but larger room this time, because the basuc twin room was too small to move around in it.

We did walk to Champs ellyse, The Triumph, Eiffel tower, Louvre and notre Damme and back, no problem
And only 1,4 km from Gare Du Nord.

We did use this facility in one of the other Hotels while we were shopping at Champs Elysees.

The hotel is in a great position with a ten minute walk to the Champs Élysées.

It even beats my experience at Radisson hotel near Champs Elysees years ago. Why?

In two days we visited the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, Montmartre, Catacombs of Paris, Sainte-Chapelle and had dinner at the Eiffel Tower.

went with my grandaughter for her 18th birthday , what a great quirky hotel ,bang close to walk to bars resturants ,galleries la fayette opera house area .

The hotel is very comfy, design and safe, the breakfast is really good, and the location is perfect in the city center.

The building was built in 1789 and has been updated with all the modern expectations while retaining its lovely charm.

From our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by friendly and smiling staff, creating a convivial atmosphere.

Friendly efficient staff, delicious pancakes at breakfast, a free soft drink minibar in the room and I had a bath and a balcony in mine which really made a difference to my stay. The common areas are fun (and currently decorated for Halloween!)

The rooms are uniquely decorated and not the stale, cookie cutter hotel rooms we usually stay in.

I would recommend this nice location hotel, the host Mauricio is just amazing such a humble young man, what a good vibes he gave to me and my friend.

The staff is both helpful and friendly, the breakfast is perfect to start off your days, and I personally found the decor to be very unique and comfortable.

The decor is charming, with so many "French" details.

There was just one small hanging rail for clothes so we left our clothes in our suitcases which we had to keep closed and stood up as the room was small it was a struggle with 2 people in it.

The room is so small that if you put an upright suitcase on the side of the bed, you can not walk around it.

We also walked much of the time - to and from Gare du Nord and les Champs Elysées.

(Montmartre, Pigalle, and Blanche metro take you directly to Champs Elysée).The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The other hotels were located close to champs-Elysees they were also very nice

Going down Blanche street in sunny weather you quickly get to boulevard Haussman and the Grands Magasins, Madeleine church, etc, and is a nice pleasant walk to the riverside and the Louvre/Champs Elisées, ile de la cité, etc.

The service is also offered at any of their other locations so you could be near Champs Elysees and use one of the hotels there

Room size was on par for Paris.

I arrived in Paris by air at CDG and took Le Bus Direct Line 2 to Etoile Champs-Elysees and then switched to metro.

We walked to the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysses from the hotel.

Good location - 2 minutes from Moulin Rouge and nearest Metro (Blanche) about 25mins walk to Champs Elysees

Great location - less than eur10 from Gare Du Nord to hotel by taxi; walk-able to Galleries Lafayette, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triompe, Eiffel & Moulin Rouge!

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and quirky.

I liked the style of the room and the bed was very comfy.

Rooms are quirky and well designed, breakfast is varied, plentiful and regularly topped up.

I really loved the decor all around the room and hotel.

It did not disappoint, the hotel is spotlessly clean, quirky decor and rooms are fantastic, have everything you need (mini fridge, safe, AC, hairdryer and toiletries).

The decor is very light-hearted and heart-warming.

It was conveniently located near a bus stop and metro station; the room was nice and clean; the black and white decor was fun; and the breakfast was very well-stocked!

The hotel is modern with a gorgeous decor - comfortable and clean!

My room had a quirky style and, most importantly, it was clean, up to date, and well kept.

The good - they were VERY apologetic and had us re-booked at their sister property Hotel Bradford Elysees.

We had a shower and bath, to get a shower you had to step into the bath, bath is small and can be slippery. We had a really comfortable bed (interesting mirror on the ceiling?)

On the other hand there was no AC (country to the website) to at least get fresh air in  during the night (which was necessary in such a small room) as opening the window with all the Parisian noise wasn't an option.

but it's a  budget hotel, so the rooms are small and walls are relativ thin, you could easily hear your neighbor in the next room.
