Everyone was so helpful and made sure we were always comfortable.

The bed & bedding was perfectly comfortable.

There are not enough superlatives for this lovely hotel: the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly; the room was cozy and comfortable; Ecole Militaire metro stop is about 50 yards away; it is on Rue Cler; it is a very short walk to the Tour Eiffel.

My room was nice, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower was very tiny smaller than cruise ship showers

We had a clean and comfortable family room - surprisingly spacious and great value for this central hotel.

It took a fair bit of planning to get everything charged.

however was that one night was double charged to credit card, a first even for me as a very seasoned traveller, and required intervention and numerous emails to finally get the money reimbursed, disappointing.

Only one I didn't like in there, they charge me fee for pick up car from hotel to airport and also the similar with my friend for both of us, that mean we gave them the double.

My girlfriend even left her earrings behind by mistake and they shipped them to our house in America free of charge.

They also tried to charge us for using the mini bar in our room that we were not even aware of.

I had a financial crisis when my credit card was unexpectedly cancelled and while my friend was wiring funds through Western Union to La Poste around the corner, Monsieur Moe at the front desk loaned me money to dine at a local restaurant run by the popular chef Christian Constant.

The breakfast area, (there is an additional charge for breakfast), seats maybe 6 people or so.

The location of this hotel can’t be beat, with many restaurants and shops around the corner and metro stations nearby, it’s around a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.

Clean, charming hotel located near the wonderful Rue Cler, a typical French neighborhood.

I liked that from the bed, I could control more than one room light from the switch located above my head.

And it is a great location with a metro stop about 50-60 steps away and about 10-15 minutes to Eiffel.

There are many good restaurants within walking distance, a grocery, & 2 pharmacies, metro stop & bus stop.

They went out of their way to explain the sites, offer restaurant recommendations and just being helpful with our questions or letting us know details we never thought about.

We loved being steps away from Rue Cler (pedestrian shopping street), the supermarket, cafes, restaurants, the metro, the bus stop and the Eiffel Tower.

Rue Cler is the famous market street and has several great cafes and numerous restaurants within a short walking distance.

My room's window overlooked the Rue Cler, which is mostly pedestrian, thankfully.

I stayed at this hotel five nights in Oct. chose this location due to its proximity to Eiffel and Rue Cler.

The location couldn't be better with a metro station a block away and the Eiffel Tower a 10-minute walk from the front door. There is a cafe on Rue Cler less than a block away where the waitress asks, "The usual?"

Our kids loved being so close to Rue Cler and Eiffel Tower.

It is very close to the Eiffel Tower and there is a great street right around the corner, Rue Cler, with everything you need.

Second, the location is convenient to about 4 different bus lines (28, 82, 69,80), the Ecole Militaire Metro line # 8 and the vibrant neighborhood street Rue Cler.

Rue Cler is wonderful and I would definitely stay in this neighborhood again.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, always greeting us and checking in about our stay, offering suggestions without being pushy and booking our cab at their discounted rate.

Dorjee, the receptionist, was friendly and over the top helpful with detailed directions to anywhere and great advice, we could plan our day to the smallest detail.

I found the desk staff of the hotel to be uniformly wonderful - I swear they were not happy unless bending over backwards to be helpful!

- Rooms near the front of the hotel can be noisy for light sleepers (I am, my partner is not) and the rooms have thinner walls so neighbours can be heard.

I said I just needed some rest and advil, BUT THEN I saw a pamphlet on their wall for a nearby massage place! Sold.

The walls were also quite thin and could hear the cleaning ladies in the hallways in the mornings as our room was close to the cleaning closet.

Located in an classic old European building, note that the elevator is small and carries only 2 at a time comfortably if attending to children and disabled elders in your party.

Not a loud serenade, more like a morning flute solo to let one know that the day was coming and that dreams should be moving toward conclusion.

but the management and customer care, and service were horrendous to the point of being dangerous.

They made a point to greet us every time we walked past the reception desk and always asked if we were enjoying our stay or if they could accommodate us in some way.

The location is ideally situated on the famed Rue Cler, near the Ecole Militaire metro station, an easy walk to the Champ de Mars, etc.

A step outside the hotel is the absolutely charming Rue Cler: a pedestrian only street lined with restaurants, shops of all kinds and the traffic of locals and tourists which comes alive in the morning and flows smoothly into night.

We slept with our window open each night and the area is so quiet and yet Rue Cler is such a bustling street with some shops and restaurants.

In addition, it is on Rue Cler, which is an ideal space for parisian life.

It is situated on Rue Cler, with bakeries, restaurants, markets, anything else you need just a few steps away.

In addition, this hotel is at one end of Rue Cler, which has two blocks of stores, restaurants, wine shops, etc.

The location is fantastic - Rue Cler has lots of little shops and cafés, and the hotel is within walking distance of most places, with the metro just a few minutes walk away.

The receptionist, seeing our dilemma unfold in the lobby on security camera, came down to offer assistance.

The concierge was pretty good and very helpful  with taxis.

Suqit (front desk mng) was beyond helpful for me - he truly went out of his way to assist me in buying train tickets to Nantes to drop off daughter at college, and giving many recommendations.. he was the best.

The central location was excellent and  our room on the courtyard was charming, spacious and comfortable.
