Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a near airport hotel.

but no room service….only good thing is the 5 min walk to the airport.

They have a covered walkway directly from the airport to the hotel.

However as guest you are only steps away from all the airport premise restaurants.

The room layout is terrible, the toilet glass door wasn’t working, so I felt like I was having my dinner in the toilet.

Definitely not going back!

The only other issue is that there is no place to put anything… Not even your toiletry bag by the sink.

I couldn't fit into the round shower with the glass closed, so I can't rate it.

Those who are afraid of the cold beware - when opening the shower door, the cold air rushes in, since there isn't an additional toilet door (thanks to its open concept).

If traveling with a modesty companion be advised the middle of the room shower pod is encased in clear glass.

The toilet and shower are open in the middle of the room.

We did hear whenever someone used the shower or toilet,

-the shower first will shower u with cold water and u will scream. Why?

A shower you can turn on without getting a blast of cold water on your arm!

It was tiny and there was no space to move in the room because it is all taken up by a bed and a shower and toilet in the middle of the room.

but I cannot imagine travelling with a friend due to lack of privacy for shower and toilet.

Ideal for solo travellers looking for a night before a flight not for couples as the bathrooms are right next to the bed like a frosted glass capsule.

It is not a room with bathroom, it is a bathroom with a bad and small desk separated with the fabric curtain from the toilet, shower and sink.

I wasn’t  keen on the shower and toilet being open plan, I’m pretty tall so couldn’t close the screens and use them comfortably.

The toilet and shower are inside the bedroom.

The shower could have had more explanation.

The hand basin is outside the toilet/shower pod, not good for hygiene.

CitizenM doesn’t not deceive once again, my second time, first was in Paris in Gare de Lyon and this time in Amsterdam at Schiphol airport, both places rocked, speedy process, convenient and clean room, and no noise

The Schipol branch, in particular, showcases two distinct room layouts: the classic setup with the shower and toilet centrally located behind glass doors, or the modern design featuring a more separated arrangement with frosted glass.

A modern hotel with a warm atmosphere, pleasant staff and other guests.

Modern, good condition (so many hotels are a little frayed).

Self checkin, and self-ordering of food, as they try to automate everything in an effort to appear modern and futuristic.

Common areas are large and modern, designed for connecting online.

It actually worked out very well, the ultra modern, all electronic room with an iPad to control the TV, blinds etc was comfortable, very clean and only a few minutes walk from the Schiphol Plaza.

The room is quite quirky with a very modern take on the normal hotel room.

Just a really pleasant hotel to stay in with a modern feel and a comfortable sleep, the people were friendly and kind.

I was traveling with my adult son and had to book another room because of the lack of privacy.

Plus there was no space to place any toiletries and definitely zero privacy.

but it would only afford a bit of privacy.

Now the not so great:  Privacy could be an issue because there is no actual separate room as a bathroom- only 2 circular opague glass enclosures (one toilet and the other one shower).

- Little privacy for shower or loo as toilet "wall" is of translucid glass.

but if you like a bit of privacy, well, don't book this place.

but practically useless from a privacy or odour containment POV.

The room is more suitable people with no need for privacy because the shower in the middle of the room has no blinded glass.

The room is the size of a cruise ship room , the toilet has no privacy, the hallway looks like a storage facility , self service food return your dirty dishes,  what is good about this place?

Don’t bring a guest, there is absolutely no privacy.

but probably wouldn’t stay here if with a friend or partner as there isn’t much space or privacy; especially the shower and toilet.

Rooms are focused on functions and can considered as missing space and privacy (in case your are 2 in)

The only negatives were that the toilet in the room doesn’t allow a lot of privacy.

A curtain divides the room in two sections to get some privacy when you come out of the shower.

The room itself was small with weird styling (why is there a stuffed girl doll in her underwear on my bed?

The quick and easy check in process was awesome.

And the best bit - the two different shower gels, one for the evening to help sleep and another for the morning to wake you up. Awesome!

Awesome from the minute you walk up to the exterior.

The staff were so good and respectable as well as so much friendly, food was was really good and to much Halal food, the lobby is super awesome so many laptops and computers to do anything and so many colours and very modern design, also the room is so good, bed was so soft and comfy really! !

Room had comfortable bed with blackout curtains  Quiet (no airport noise) as well.

I had the Osso Bucco and quite frankly it was not worth what I was charged.

The iPad ran out of battery within 30 minutes and the charging dock didn't work.

They don't even have a front desk, you need to figure out how to check in and get an access card to your room.

You will get charged 25 Euros for parking overnight and you cannot use the outside booth to pay so you have to come back and stand in line at the bar when you are in rush to catch your flight.

Driver supplied by hotel tried to charge me seven times the legal rate.

He had the nerve to charge us 25 EU for an 8 minute drive that cost 12 EU the night before!!

Although it was told that the invoice would be sent by email, nothing was received.

check in late, leave at 6 and had to learn hot to use the iPad to control the room (same for the check-in, that was not accepting my Italian ID card).

They don't ensure that the iPad is charged up before you arrive though, and worse yet, the charging station in my room didn't work so the iPad was dead on arrival!

Do they not realize that they are just feeding the maws of the credit card companies, who skim a percentage off every transaction?

although my only complaint is a surprising one—the room had only one charging outlet.

The lights, blinds, TV and AC all controlled from a fully charged iPad in the room.

A staff member lent me a hotel phone for more than an hour to make long-distance calls because I did not have a SIM card for France.

Over $1000 is missing from my card and I don’t know how to make sure it is corrected.

If you want to check in really early, they charge a 29 euro fee.

Hospitality is no existing in this hotel,
elevator is brorken
no service of any kind, would it be check-in or restaurant. Staff over charged me at check out /after/  check out (this is entirely illegal)
