Stayed in this lovely hotel, near King's Cross for 6 nights, and I very much enjoyed my stay, all the staff were lovely and very friendly and approachable, bedroom space was very good.

Hotel conviently placed a short walk from kings cross station.Check in was quick and easy,and the lady who checked us in was very friendly.

The people of the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast display is really cute however it's no fry up Just posh stuff like croissants and blueberry muffins, some of the staff are really friendly, I hope I haven't got her name wrong

This hotel is in an ideal location for sightseeing in London and the facilities were great, we actually needed the hotel as our late night train back "Up Norf" was cancelled so had a after midnight panic what to do in central londinium with my 15 year old daughter in tow.

Though booked well in advance, the advent of the Queen's death could have made things quite messy and, on the contrary, all the staff were eager to help and assist with clear indications.

We had a very basic room with no windows, so when the shower was on the entire room for steamy, and everything was a bit damp.

Also in the category Double Bedroom with Window belong rooms with locked windows that one cannot open, ever.

I would suggest trying to get a new room when staying as there is old rooms and newer rooms, also if you need a good night's sleep get the rooms without windows, on the basement floor.

The curtains were broken, and there was a light outside the window constantly on.

but when we checked in we were on level -1 so there was no light from the underground window and so we had to change rooms.

In the afternoon I had to go back down to reception because the right curtain was half down and could not be moved, the girl assured me that today someone from maintenance would come to fix it,

This time I booked a room without a window.

Only complaint really is the curtain over the window was really ill fitting, and so the street light outside shone through the window, the light landing right on the bed so it was bright and difficult to sleep.

Negatives:
I opted for a room with a window which was on floor 1 (just above street level) the hotel is in a busy road and the traffic noise all night was a nightmare.

We loved this hotel for many reasons: the location was excellent and close to a Metro station.

We walked pretty much everywhere from the hotel (it‘s about 20 minutes to Les Halles) and if you need, there is a Metro station 2 minutes away.

but not least, it is very well located with buses, metro stations and supermarket near by.

My husband and I arrived at Gare du Nord & decided to walk 15mins from the station to the hotel.

We felt that Ihab, the front desk man on duty when we arrived, was especially helpful and efficient in booking our onward transport to the Gare du Nord and ensuring that we got a room as early as possible.

After a short 15-20 minute walk from Gare du Nord we arrived early and were able to leave our suitcases with reception so we could start exploring the city.

Lovely hotel, has all the amenities, you have a mini bar with soft drinks in your room refilled every day, a safe and a kettle, we had breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, after 2pm you can get free tea coffee, snacks, big area if you want to eat food or chill.

The room was surprisingly roomy, and the King bed very comfortable.

Friendly efficient staff, delicious pancakes at breakfast, a free soft drink minibar in the room and I had a bath and a balcony in mine which really made a difference to my stay. The common areas are fun (and currently decorated for Halloween!)

Mini fridge was much appreciated with daily soft drinks ,there was also a hair dryer, kettle and a safe in the room, the room was clean

The soft bar downstairs was great with snacks and soft drinks from 2pm to 2am.

There are so many nice touches such as free coffee and soft drinks and snacks in the day and a free soft drink bar in your room.

In the afternoon, soft drinks, coffee, biscuits, candy etc are available.
