 - I loved this hotel’s location - about 1/2 block from the Saint Georges metro station.
 - Great location with a metro station just down the road.
 - Excellent location, with a good cafe opposite,
 - Perfect location and comfortable rooms.
 - The location is excellent - just moments away from Moulin Rouge and Sacré Cœur.

 - The only negative from our stay was the shower… it was so tiny and had a curtain all the way around that smelled and didn’t prevent water from leaking out all over the floor.
 - Also the bread was stale for us and there was no toasting facility.
 - The shower is set up in such a way that unless you are *very* careful with the shower curtain, you will flood the floor, which has no drain hole.
 - But this is Paris where everyone seems to smoke everywhere.
 - You can hear the noise from the timber floor when people was walking.

 - Hotel is only a minute away from Saint Georges metro station was very convenient also about 15 mins walk from Opera.
 - The nearest metro was not even a minutes walk away, and we utilised this daily to get to other parts of Paris,
 - The Metro station is just at the bottom of the street and is on a well connected line.
 - Ideally situated in the St George's district of Paris right opposite the metro.

 - All 4 nights we stayed, we couldn’t sleep more than 3-4 hrs because it was very noisy even at 4am.
 - Main issue was the window was either fully open or not and as it was on a balcony on the Main Street we didn’t want to sleep with it open to the public so it was very hot!
 - Because there's no aircon the window needed to be open and there was constant sirens, horns honking, drunk people talking loudly outside - it made it difficult to get a decent nights sleep.
 - but make sure to let the windows open as much as you can to move the air because 6 persons sleeping in one room with the shoes and everything can be a pit smelly, the bathrooms are clean and tidy
 - It did for our entire stay (four nights). So we had to sleep with the windows open (I guess that was the reason?)

 - So fairly constant noise and hot room was a poor experience for us and we really didn’t sleep well.

 - The only difficulty was the small showers with poor design which led to a very wet bathroom overall.
 - It's more annoying that when such a beautiful hotel has such a poor view and rules of how such things should be managed and provided.

 - We found the front desk bent over backwards to help us when we got our power adaptor stuck in the wall plug.
 - There was also some shower gel in a dispenser on the wall as well as some other small toiletries.
 - Only problem is the paper thin walls, since you can hear perfectly what is going on in the hallway.
 - If you are a woman I would suggest bringing your own shampoo / conditioner as they offer a cheap body soap/shampoo from a wall dispenser.
 - Woke up during the night a couple of times as I could hear people talking out on the corridor due to the thin walls.

 - The room was nicely decorated (by themes) and of good quality.
 - I really like the concept of naming and designing the room based on a landmark (Eiffel Tower in my case).
 - The room was made to resemble the Eiffel Tower.
 - Its intimate rooms are personalised with themes about the most prestigious monuments in the history of Paris (such as rooms based on the Moulin Rouge).
 - loved the bath, and the bedroom decor.the sound proofing ( room was right opposite a busy restaurant) is top class, didnot hear anything and slept really well.

 - A little too dark with red & heavy curtains (should have paid €10 more per room night to get room Musee D'orsay which might be brightly lit).
 - The minor one was I felt the breakfasts were a little ‘lightweight’ for the price guests pay within their room charge.
 - but can not believe the reviews are so positive, it might be unique but totally impractical, we moved to a more central location, to a cheaper room without the glass toilet after one night.
 - Lows Really tiny rooms for price and location..exception was the Atelier d'artiste room, The cleanliness was not great.
 - but do not forget (as I did) that the cost is not included in your room fee - it is an additional 18 Euros per person, which is quite pricey if all you have is coffee and a piece of bread with cheese.

 - The location was great for getting around the city with a choice of Metro stations and plenty of cafe’s bars and restaurants nearby. Lovely little place to share some secrets too :)

 - And we found the hotel ideally located for the Sacre Couer, the big shopping areas such as Galeries Lafayette - which has good views over Paris - and the Opera House.
 - The location is good as well (15 minutes walk from Galeries Lafayette).
 - but its a 20 min walk to the Champs Elysée, and the walk include the Designer shopping area and t takes you past Galeries Lafayette!
 - Hotel itself was located 10 mins walk from Moulin Rouge, 10/15 mins work from the Grand Shopping store Galeries Lafayette.
 - Its a 3 minute walk to the nearest Metro, and a 10 minute walk to Galeries Lafayette.

 - Walking distance from the Opera, Moulin Rouge, The Galleries Lafayette and even the Sacred Coeur.
 - Location - The hotel is 5 mins walk from Moulin Rouge, 15 from Sacre Coeur and 15-20 from the massive Grand Lafayette shopping mall (Harrods meets Selfridges).
 - Location is good though, very close to montematre & gallerie lafayette (15 mins walk each way ) so pretty central - & you get to see the real Paris streets there

 - The wardrobe is tiny, bedside tables tiny, no view from the window, the bath shower and toilet is all in one that is tiny too and the lighting is not great, I cannot even put my make up on because it was so dim !
 - There were small mirrors on the ceiling which probably wouldn't be to everyone's taste.
 - The room (Eiffel Tower) was small and the bathroom tight
 - The bathroom was small
 - Bathroom was also small

 - No coffee in the room, then charging me for a cup to go, is also a pet peeve of mine.
 - but it was so problem and we were not charged for it!
 - All my guests took a card and said they would come back there if they need to stay in Paris.
 - but afterwards checked hotel website directly and was the same price so wish I had booked directly on their own website (booking was made within 7 days of arrival so would have been charged by booking.com to cancel)
 - The only problem we had was when we checked out they nearly charged us for the breakfast buffet and using the sauna and steam room.

 - but the staff member decided to say out loud, not the most romantic way to end.
 - The ONLY thing I would have to say negative was that the room was hot at night and if you opened window it was ok except bars and restaurants was loud outside.
 - I had to open the window and it was loud outside, I was hot and bothered and then woke up with a cold due to the rapid drop in temperature.
 - It is a very active street and it got a bit loud one of the nights,
 - but something to consider if you are traveling during June/July/August time frame, check which country are hosting the games.

 - We lost power in our room one night and had to call reception.
 - He went over and above to help me navigate the challenges of immediately needing to head back to the US with no phone service.
 - but who needs a phone in Paris anyway!!!
 - There's also not enough plug sockets and none by the third bed which is annoying for charging your phone.
 - On our 2nd day, (17th of March, 2016) my friend sprained her left foot and could not walk, we sought the help of the reception to call a doctor to help her.

 - and Air con in the room.
 - The AC In our room didn’t work unfortunately
 - The only downside was the air conditioning in my room didn't seem to work which I did not notice until the second night.
 - The only ding is I my room had the AC not functional and it took me 2 days to convince them it wasn't working and by the time they agreed that it was not, it was Saturday, no technicians on Saturday, or Sunday, or Monday.

 - We would probably not pay for the breakfast during a future stay.
 - I did think the breakfast was a little over priced so we went to McDonalds for breakfast that was across the street as well.
 - Breakfast buffet was a little expensive for a basic European breakfast.
 - In comparison to other hotels/hostels during our trip, this breakfast was the most expensive with the least variety.
 - They charged 10€ for breakfast
