although clean, are very small and especially the shower.

On our second day the shower head broke - we reported this at 6pm and within an hour the maintenance team had replaced it with no fuss.

It consisted of three single beds (one converted sofa bed), a desk with TV and fridge and en-suite with shower, toilet and basin.

The shower was so small it was near impossible to safely shower 2 small kids, I dread to think how plus size guests must feel.

Also there was no toiletries provided other than a slither of hand soap.

Room tiny, bathroom uncomfortably small, shower untiled and peeling.

The hotel looks tired in places externally, cracked render around pool area , rusting metal fire escape staircases, paint chipped off staircases to pool toilets and to grass area.

The bathrooms in particular are really shabby and the shower is tiny and overflows/leaks if you don’t have it on a slow flow.

The sink was right in the way so it was very challenging.

The bathroom was nice and clean on arrival, the only downside is the shower cubicle was very small.

We stayed in a twin room which was a good size with a small fridge the bathroom is a little small and the shower is tiny.

Rooms - as mentioned in previous reviews, the shower cubicle is tiny.

The only slight negative was sink in bathroom is wide & and it could be a bit awkward to get in, & when we checked out we didn't get asked if we enjoyed our stay

Having watched various youtube videos, we had become worried that we may have booked the wrong accommodation as the rooms looked very small and the showers looked even smaller,

Bathroom: shower cubicle which is small, toilet and basin.

The very worst thing of all is the stench of the toilets.

Shower cubicles in rooms are very small so not recommended if you weigh over about 10 stone.

Very easy to get into Mahon from the bus on the doorstep of the hotel (absolutely worth a trip, we went twice)

Landtrain to lovely beach at Binibeca (I would recommend this beach over the beach at Punta Prima)

So what are the negatives/what would we do differently? 1.

There's a great bus into Mahon, as well as the mini bus into Punta Prima.

2nd time to this hotel and its got alot better in 7 years the location is brilliant and a free bus to punta prima

The free shuttle bus to Punta Prima beach was great and there were 2 other options for getting around - a bus to Mahon (every hour) and a little tourist road train that went along the coast to Binibeca were there are some lovely rocky coves for swimming and snorkeling.

Bus stop in the car park outside the hotel and runs every hour (timetable on the bus stop).

Free return bus from hotel to the nearest beach.

The bus and land train stops right outside the hotel which was perfect for trips out.

Shuttle bus to beach ran hourly and was free.

There is a free bus to the local beach at Punta Prima

There’s a daily shuttle bus to punta prima beach.

We visited Mahon, we got the bus from outside the hotel which was just over €7 for the four of us.

Firstly there are lots of great things about this hotel: the staff are brilliant and work so hard to keep everything running and clean, the water park is great and an added bonus saving lots of money, the hotel has a free bus to Punta Prima beach and there is plenty of choice in terms of food in the restaurant.

Free shuttle bus as well I think it’s a such a good idea.

but if you want to venture out a free bus is provided to take you to the beach.

We used the free bus to the beach and also the ting ting train, which was fun for everybody.

The location is great, close to Mahon with a bus stopping outside the hotel hourly, and a free bus down to a beautiful beach also runs throughout the day.

Free shuttle bus to the beach every hour truly stunning beach only 10 minutes away!

If you want to visit the beach at Punta Prima then there is a free minibus every hour or a ten minute walk.

Shuttle bus goes to Punta Prima beach every hour.

Very clean, very quiet, with nice sea view from 1st floor.

Staff were really great and friendly and we always found everywhere to be clean and tidy.

If you want the kids to have a good time, it's just the place, if you book all inclusive, water park just over the road from the hotel is included, good value for money , plenty to keep them amused the hotel, very clean hotel, staff very helpful,

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, clean tidy lots of food choice :) loved it.

but extremely clean and had the best shower I have experienced in a hotel for a long time.

Rooms were spotless on arrival and cleaning staff visited daily and kept rooms clean and tidy.

Staff always making sure the Resturant is clean.

The pool was clean and well tended to- lifeguard always on site.

Staff were very friendly, food was lovely and hotel was very clean.

Hotel was spotless and the staff could not have been more helpful.

though were absolutely perfect, clean, Friendly and good choice.

Although the rooms could be better and bigger they were spotless due to the quality and impeccability of the cleaning staff 

Food was superb ,drinks was adequate and the entertainment could.a.little higher standard

Staff clear up promptly and, again, everything is very clean.

The hotel itself is fantastic, clean and very well maintained, really good food and drinks on the AI.

The hotel is immaculate and they take great pride in this.

Hotel was very clean, foot plentiful, splash park excellent, staff great.

Fabulous hotel well maintained very clean with lovely pool and great facilities very helpful friendly and welcoming staff.

The rooms, the facilities and around the hotel is well maintained, cleaned daily and kept spotless.

Clean everywhere, food was delicious, plenty of sun beds, staff were very hardworking and friendly.

I booked turkey in September with Jet2holidays and it worked out around the same price per night at the Concorde deluxe which was 5* and the food was literally worlds apart (plus the all inclusive range was miles better).

but ok, water park is good fors kids, sound stage quality is very poor,I do understand there is a sound limiter however the acts should be put inside so they have good quality sound the take that tribute act was wasted due to poor sound quality and many people moved away, I have never paid €10 euro in any hotel I have been in anywhere in spain, I have been too many hotels in Spain, the tourist tax is very expensive.

Entertainment is not great, I was surprised there was nothing really on and the sound quality is poor, so you can’t really hear a thing,

Food is pretty poor, bland, boring and repetitive.

Food was very poor quality, full of hidden salts, fats and sugars.

Internet  very poor losing connection at least four times a day.

Nothing around at all even buses down to the town was poor two supermarkets beach very small nothing for teenagers .

but for children’s waterpolo I’d advise a swimsuit at least 

The kids disco was boring
The evening entertainment was poor 

Some of the staff were rude and miserable, it was like they really didn’t want to be there 

I’m so glad this was a cheap 7 night stay for us, some of the families we met had paid over £3k for half board and let me tell you it’s 100% not worth it!!

Also all inclusive drink choices very poor!

‘Flip the water bottle’ and ‘flip ur flip flop’ off as far as you could, for a free drink, we’re just  2 of the games, so a-bit poor really.

but we found them annoyingly boring, in particular the hotels own animation staff delivering annoyingly poor service.

Nothing around the hotel and really really poor amount of seats for guests on an evening.

The all inclusive meals and drinks are very poor.

Mainly due to the poor outcome of my sons physical injury!

The shower is very poor standard, it’s not thermostatic so the temperature is constantly changing.

Don’t choose this place if you want the kids entertained, the kids club was poor and underrun nothing for them in the evening after dinner only a short mini disco which was repetitive.

Air con at hotel and in rooms was very poor - this may have been sorted now. 3.

Definitely book a suite outside of the main hotel if you want a bit more quiet
6. Kids loved the all inclusive food (and you can get snacks like pizza/chips outside of meal times as well, which the kids definitely loved!)

Food was always good, a good selection and the snack bar always had some good staples between lunch and dinner.

Hotel food and drink was good and again the hard working waiting staff and chefs were always helpful.

but after speaking with other guests they had also experienced the same after eating meat or fish from the restaurant.

Food in the restaurant was amazing and so much choice.

Popular food quickly ran out and took ages to be replaced, if it was replaced at all.

but lunch and dinner different every day.

Loads of choices of food definitely the best Resturant all inclusive food I’ve had.

Great food, waterpark with everyday pass did the trick to keep youngsers entertained.

As well as the pizza, chips, chicken, burgers etc, during our stay we had various curries, grilled fish, cannelloni, lasagne, paella, veal dishes, sauté potatoes and roast meats.

There is approximately eight restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a market weekly.

Really good hotel, food was delicious and such a variety at each meal.

Food variety is excellent and all dishes are delicious.

Massive variety of food and drinks for all!

The food was interesting - there was always something local to eat and the fresh grill section was always worth trying every day.

The evening entertainment finished around 10:30pm,

The entertainment was what you would expect from a family hotel, and by 10.30pm everything gets turned off, so it does go quiet.

The entertainment was good fun the food delish if I had the money I'd have left a tip every day been a lovely first holiday with my son

Children’s entertainers were great too, specifically Matteo & Elysia.

Only things I would say is the entertainment at night isn’t the best.

Animation team also 5 stars, great attitude, right people for the job.

but loads of little children when we went - good choice of entertainment for them and big enough playground.

Lots of young families there and the entertainment seemed to be geared to them.

We booked here as we were taking my grandad away who is elderly and unable to walk far, therefore wanted evening entertainment.

A mixture of singers,clowns,acrobats etc.

The animation team are brilliant kept everyone entertained!

The evening entertainment varied every day, including karaoke and an talent show, where we saw Owen destroy the stage.

Super friendly, very entertaining and funny.

Close to the pool and main entertainment area

The entertainment team were brilliant, the bar staff great, the restaurant staff couldn't have been more on it and the food was great.

We were not disappointed, from the staff, room, food, bar, splash park and entertainment 10 out of 10 from us.

A fantastic family holiday for a wide age range of children 7-13, the accommodation, food, entertainment and facilities were great.

The Animation team are great in the day and night

There was a sewage smell that was particularly bad when going to the pool toilets, and if you were placed on a ground floor room near there wouldn't be ideal.

but it feels very dirty and smells of sewage in every direction you go in!!

Couldn't even have the balcony doors open due to the constant smell of weed.

On about day 4, we started to notice a sewage smell  in our room.

It’s also a bit annoying if you are on your balcony and your neighbour smokes.

Personal gripe was smoking and vaping within the hotel grounds around the pool and when the entertainment was on during the evening I’m not aware of the hotel policy for this

The on tap cocktails are disgusting (to our group anyway).

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on site except on the tiny balconies, which is a bit of an anomaly,  (shame this isn't mentioned anywhere before you book)  this means that females travelling without men are very vulnerable at night when they have to go outside to smoke.

although the step is broken and wobbling, which is a trip hazard and the room smells a little of chemicals, maybe fresh paint (not great for a baby) 
When booking there weren’t a lot of rooms left.

Balcony: 2 chairs and a small table with ashtray.

but some selfish guests, was the number of people blatantly smoking and vaping at the bar tables.

Spoke to reception about this and they got the cleaners to sort this for us, they put in an air freshener to cover the smell

The smoking area is small and sometimes has a trouble getting seats there.

There is 1 designated smoking area, you aren’t allowed to smoke by your sun beds or anywhere else - just the designated area (just a tip for smokers).

If queueing for dinner for the 7.30 opening so your child can make it to mini-disco, you'll queue past the hot-pass and it's not a great start to your dinner.. sweaty and food smell clings.

The only slight criticisms I have are that the smoking area is directly outside the hotel exit to the pool, meaning walking through a plume of smoke each time.

Once in the room, the smell of stale smoke was horrendous.

Room was damp and mouldy, bathroom was all chipping and stained.

The splash park was great in the waterpark,

Had a fantastic family holiday here 6 adults 2 children.The Splash waterpark was really good and less than 100 metres from the front entrance to the hotel.The food options were brilliant and something for everybody.

Fantastic holiday venue, and the splash park is a great bonus.

We went to splash a few times which is just across the road from the hotel and that was so much fun.

Whereas there was much more room to sit in the splash park and we found it far more relaxing.

Splash park: there are plenty of Sun loungers for everyone.

The kids spent all day in there - 6 large slides, 2 kids slides, a big toddlers pirate splash pool, a baby pool plus long lazy river.

Not a problem for us, my kids enjoyed the food, splash park and went in the main pool at hotel once.

The choice of food was great, something for everyone, splash park was amazing, pool was fab, music and games each day, the all inclusive was truly ALL inclusive.

Splash Park makes for great fun, albeit the water is chilly it doesn't spoil your day.

Our second visit to Hotel Sur Menorca with Splash Park adjacent.

Good points: staff work hard to try make it better, location is very peaceful, 20mins from the airport, no fighting for sun loungers.

We were served by Zayna in the restaurant area who was absolutely brilliant, always there to help with the biggest smile.

The main thing was the staff, always attentive and friendly.

The staff made it for us, every single person was fantastic and welcoming.

Staff were great, friendly and accommodating.

Always smiling and full of positive energy.

On a positive some staff were lovely and helpful!

My youngest son and one of the bar staff was stung during our stay.

Bar was great (of course) and staff very helpful .

The BEST thing I have to mention is the staff.

Fantastic Water park with all the slides and bar.

The water park was great fun and while the food was pricey, the quantity was excellent.

Pool area, water park and lounge were in great condition, modern and kept immaculately clean.

We used the water park every day - it was brilliant.

So it’s good that the hotel has the water park across the car park.

The water park is good for kids, the lifeguards super friendly and would say this is the only great thing about the hotel.

The Water park is good fun too and a welcomed change if you don't want to hang around the pool all day 

A couple of minor things that could be improved in the hotel and rooms

The water park was excellent and we went over most afternoons, just because my young child (I mean husband) couldn’t wait.

I can not wait to return to this sur hotel and the fabulous water park.

I took my 10 year old son here for a week's holiday beginning of September, we had a brilliant time and really enjoyed the water park!

The icing  on the cack as they say was the free entry to the water park which was excellent salt water

The fact the water park is right across the road, which is included in the all inclusive is great.

Could not fault this hotel and water park.

The location was good and quiet, and really close to the metro so we could travel anywhere.

The hotel is nicely located near place d'Italie and several metro lines, and close to the rue du Moufetard and Pantheon neighbourhoods.

but easy to navigate by taxi, uber, or metro.

The hotel is right next to the metro station Place d'Italie.

but good metro connection and area feels like Paris still.

Good location, in a nice neighbourhood close to the metro.

Good location, near bus and metro station, nice neighborhood, comfortable rooms, free wifi and English speaking and nice staff.

Practically a stone's throw away from the metro in a quiet street.

Friendly staff, nice ambiente, very easy to reach by metro.

And also it's same to all around metros of Paris,

We had a fabulous time and the hotel was perfect, easy to get to from the airport and close to the metro.

Metro close by and easy access to the rest of the city.

although close to Place d'Italie and Metro.

The location nearby the metro 6 and 7 is perfect to reach all important sights.

Location is fabulous to explore Paris with Metro Station and Bus stop within 3min walk.

The area round the hotel was nice with plenty of places to eat and the Metro was very close by.

Good transportation options (bus, metro), close to Orly airport (20-30 minutes by taxi, Orly bus stop is also close by metro), and nice restaurants nearby.

Lovely stay in a very comfortable hotel which is well placed for the Metro.

Close to the metro (Place d'Italie) and in one of my favourite Paris neighbourhoods (not very touristic).

the hotel location is perfect, right outside the metro and has lots of restaurants to eat at nearby.

Positives: 
Excellent location - very close to a shopping mall and a very busy metro station (with multiple metro lines).

Very convenient to be located very close to a main metro station.

though nearby metro station and many cafés.

but actually it's in a nice area that's a minute's walk from the metro station - the station is linked by three different lines, so you can quickly get anywhere you want to in Paris in no more than 30 mins.

Super clean and tidy,1 minute away from the metro station and private parking on foot,close to mall,supermarket,cafes,bakery and restaurants.

Especially the location close to restaurants and a big metro station was a plus!

There was always somebody to ask at the front desk and the metro station is just around the corner.

The hotel is 5' walking of the Metro Station and you have also several buses on the same avenue.

The hotel is great, rooms are nice and tidy and the hotel is based right next to 2 metro stations which allow access to explore the whole of Paris.

- Room is cozy
- Bed is comfortable
- Toilet is clean
- Staffs are helpful and accommodating
- Location is near to shops, restaurants, bus stations

**Guests will appreciate it more if it includes free breakfast. =)

Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, also the metro station is within 5 minutes or less from the hotel.

Luckily the reception told us of another metro (15 min walk) (olympiades) which took us to our stop (pyramides) near the lourve also the bigbus tour was exactly at this metro station which came in handy for sightseeing.

Several Metro stations are around the Hotel.
