If you want to be in St Michel and St Germain area, and also a bridge cross of 10 minute walk to  Arr 1, this is the place to stay.

LOCATION is fantastic, I loved the latin quarter and the area of St Michel in general.

Even when is situated in a crowded area, the hotel is calm, silent and cozy.

Located on the left bank in the Latin Quarter 5 minutes to Notre Damm and easily accessible by  metro to other areas.

The location is convenient and walkable to most areas.

The hotel was located in a very nice area with many restaurants and good transportation nearby.

The area is lively with many restaurants, cafes and shops.

There are many cafes, shops, and useful stores in the area.

The nightlife in the area is also always on, so keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

The room and bathroom were absolutely amazing, you could see the parisian streets and the bathroom was the perfect area to get ready, so if you can upgrade to a room with a bath it’s a MUST.

We had two balconies with tables and chairs to be able to enjoy the outside and the fun vibe of the area.

The area is nice if you like small restaurants and bars.

All in all a stay here is just perfect while visiting Paris… it was my first time in the city and I recommend this hotel and the area as it is centrally located.

It is near the St. Germain area and it is close to Notre Dame, and easy to get to the Muse d'Orsay and Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.

Metro was very close , people were very friendly and the desk.

Metro station and stops for hop-on/hop-off buses were around the corner.

Right near the St. Michel metro, near Notre Dame, St. Germain de Pres, Ile St. Loius, Luxembourg Gardens, the Marais and the Louvre.

Close to so many restaurants, bars, metros and landmarks.

Notre Dame is an easy 5 minute walk (if that) and there is a Metro Station 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Most importantly the location was amazing, you are close too good food spots as well as grocery stores and the metro, and walking is a must and to get to many of the landmarks all you need too do it walk in one direction which is amazing for someone with a horrible sense of direction, staff are helpful and in reception 24/7.

If you want a comfortable, small boutique hotel close to Notre Dame and the Seine with the Metro close by to access the rest of the city, you should consider this one.

This is a quaint hotel that is located in a great location in the Latin Quarter for shopping, dining and near the Metro for transport.

It was such a great location, super close to the metro.

This smaller sized hotel provides charm and a great staff in a location right next to a major RER and Metro stop.

though you are in the center of the place to be, the room is very well isolated; when you close the windows, you might as well be in the country, almost no noise from the street.

Being there was very nice, clean and in the city centre, close to saint-michel square, near to notre-dame.

There's a metro station right around the corner too so it was easy to catch the train from CDG airport and when we wanted to go further north in the city.

We Stayed for 4 nights - and we have never felt so recharged after a good Night sleep… it’s a perfect place for a weekend in the great city of Paris, with a lidt of good restaurants nearby.

Metro is few steps down, facilitating transportation across the entire city.

Excellent for an introduction to the city, the night lights in the monuments are a must.

The location was perfect for exploring the city as its close to many sites, just steps away from the metro and on a train line for CDG.

In a city known for cramped spaces at high prices, this hotel is a gem.

Walking distance to Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens and very close to metro so you can get anywhere easily.

A short RER to Musee d'Orsay and Eiffel Tower, close to Luxembourg gardens and a stroll to the cafes in St Germain.

If you're a light sleeper, bring a mask and earplugs - you could hear the noise of the street at night, and sirens in the distance here and there,

but comfortable, the sound proofing are not too good, also it seems to me that the house keeper was in a hurry to finish her cleaning and forgot to supply the coffee bag in few occasions

Quiet and air conditioned rooms, a bit small.

but even on the weekend it was quiet after 11PM (maybe due to less tourists in Aug).

I couldn't sleep because I heard the noise outside until dawn, and

It was noisy, dirty and the room needed attention.

Lots of noise from the street 24/7, so no possibility to sleep with open windows.

However, there was annoying buzzing noise every 90 to 120 seconds in the ceiling by bathroom.

It's an old hotel so the walls are thin and the insulation is minimal between rooms.

Noisy both inside and outside…bring a white noise machine to block noise and it’s fine.

The walls are quite thin, and we could hear people in the next room coughing and talking.

However, it wasn’t very well soundproofed despite the thick stone walls and we were disturbed by other guests.

but bathroom tiny - left door open - had to squeeze between wall and basin to get into the shower.

It is a cosy little hotel with some small rooms and a very small bathroom.

However, Extreamly small bathroom was difficult to use.

The room for two was small and the shower was transparent.

The bathroom is so small that I couldn’t close the door to shower.

No tea or coffee machine, one tiny shower gel and soap for 2 persons.

From the photos my partner and I expected a small bathroom with just enough room,

The room and bathroom were small, and a mild smell of sewage entered the room from there.

Other reviews are right, our cheap room was small and had the bathroom sink in the room separate from the shower and toilet rooms.

There was no dresser to unload clothes into so we lived out of our suit cases which we tripped over while navigating the room as it was difficult to navigate around the bed, past a little well used desk to get to the tiny little bathroom.

The metro was very close to take us to other tourist spots such as the Eiffel Tower.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast kept me going all day.. major metro lines made it convenient to go all around the city.

we walked nearly everywhere, took metro to Flea Market & Printemps and RGR to Versailles.

But for those out for the day, the location is perfect.Near museums and near a direct metro station to Gare du Nord.

Close to the Saint-Michel Notre Dame metro stop, lots of restaurants and bars.

From Gare de Nord it is a simple ride on the metro or an inexpensive taxi ride.

A few metro stops are close by for easy access to other parts of the city.

but they patiently explained how the metro worked, which lines to use to get to places.

Location was excellent: 7-minute walk from Odéon metro station; 2-minute walk to the Seine, with the Louvre and Notre Dame another ten minutes away.

The location was perfect, two blocks from the river and Pont-Neuf— short work walk to several Metros; blocks away from fashionable shopping and Rue de Bac.

It also provides easy access to Ile St.Louis, the Left Bank neighborhoods, and the Metro.

Right in the centre of Latin Quarter so excellent for metro and restaurants.

And it was a short walk to the trains and metro, which was fantastic if you have plans to see Versailles (which we did).

Before our visit we were sent a questionnaire asking us all our requirements for our stay which we thought was a nice touch .Finding the hotel from the Metro was easy,  following the  directions given by them .It was in a nice area with plenty of bars and restaurants and within walking distance of Pont Neuf and the River Seine .

Classic 3-star in the heart of the Left Bank, so bear that in mind: cramped staircases, slow elevator, small bathrooms, tight-squeeze bedrooms.

The tiny lift SAYS it could fit five people,

If you have a room number that ends in 5 or 6 be prepared to walk up or down a half flight from the lift.

My dad got stuck in the elevator for a minute or two, which apparently happens here and there,

It has a lift which in old historic properties such as this is not easily managed.

In the other hand, the elevator wasn't functioning for 4 days.

They hijack the lift for long periods meaning you have to wait 15 minutes or more and they continually try to get out of making up your room.

The elevator is small - one person, one suitcase.

The hotel has a very small elevator, the stairs are the way to go here.

but some rooms require stairs from elevator.

This was important because I didn't want to be held up every time waiting on the elevator because I had my son and a stroller.

but this is Paris and the little old lift at least took us to the third floor.

the elevator stops between floors (requiring you to take a short flight of stairs up/down to your room), the bedrooms (I had a “superior double” # 66 on 6th floor) themselves are rather compact (with tiny bathrooms).

There were people in the group who had rooms on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors that had to use the stairs (with luggage) for the entire stay due to the elevator being out of service.

The lift takes you so far then you lug baggage a few steps up or down depending on your room whereabouts.

We loved the central location just a couple blocks off the Pont Neuf, very easy to walk to the Latin Quarter, the Luxembourg Gardens, the Louvre, even the Marais.

This hotel right in the middle of the St. Germain arrondisement was perfectly located - close to restaurants, the river, Luxembourg Gardens and the RER B.

Odeon Metro Station in close by as are Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Luxembourg Gardens, the Pantheon (the Cluny Museum is closed until July) and all sorts of cafes & restaurants.

Within easy walking distance of the Seine, Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle, the Louvre, Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Gardens, everywhere you want to go.

the Luxembourg gardens are 10min stroll and many stops for a coffee, gelato and a cheeky kir royal.

It is within easy walking distance to the Louvre, Tuilleries Gardens, Luxembourg Gardens, Muse d'Orsay.

Walking distance to the louvre museum, and Eiffel tower, & Jardin du Luxembourg gardens, in fact you are not far from anything.

We stayed in this boutique hotel which is in a great location close to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Latin quarter, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Saint Germain region.

Hotel Dauphin is a very nice boutique hotel near Luxembourg Gardens.

From here you can walk to Louvre, Notre-Dame, Sorbonne, Luxembourg gardens, Tuileries, Musee de Orangerie, Musee d'Orsay, Tower - everything!! 2.

Situated slap-bang in the centre of the Latin Quarter, it is within minutes walking distance from Notre Dame, Shakespeare and Co bookshop, and perhaps 10 minutes from Luxembourg Gardens.

Blocks from the Pont de Neuf, walking distance to Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens and even the Eiffel Tower.

I walked daily -- to the Louvre, Orsay, Notre Dame, Marais, around Luxembourg Gardens, and even to the rue Mouffetard  (during a "Hemingway walk").

The location was great and we were able to walk to many of the tourist spots, with the River Seine only a five minute walk, the Luxembourg Gardens a ten minute walk.

Located in the 6th Arrondissment it is near Notre Dame, Pont Nuef, and the Louvre and d’Orsay museums.

Over the years I have chosen Hotel Dauphine for it’s fantastic location in the heart of St Germain, close to transport, museums and wonderful restaurants.

The location was fantastic; we walked to museums, shopping and restaurants - 10 minute walk to The Louvre and Notre Dame.

The neighborhood of the 6th is ideal for restaurants, art galleries, museums, shopping, parks, and easy metro access.

We discovered the Cluny museum while out strolling, quaint churches open late at night and the best of all was the Shakespeare and Company bookstore.

The location is excellent because it is within walking distance to many important sites and museums, like Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, and Louvre.

The hotel is close to the Seine and it is an easy walk to so many museums and attractions.

We enjoyed restaurants close by and enjoyed the amazing Picasso museum in the Le Marais and also our special last night in Paris at the one and only Moulin Rouge with hotel pickup and return transportation back to our hotel with incredible driver who took us into the Moulin Rouge on arrival and we knew exactly where to meet afterwards.

Super location for central Paris , lots of places to eat and drink very close ,very easy access to the river and museums.

I look more towards using that money to enjoy dinner, or their museums.

The location is perfect, on the Left Bank and within close walking distiance of a number of historical sites and museums.

As the other reviews have noted, this hotel is perfectly located between the Seine and the Boulevard St. Germaine on the left bank  .The Louvre and the d'Orsay Museums are easily walkable.

In addition, it is walking distance to many landmark sites, including Notre Dame, the Louvre and Orsay museums and the Luxemberg and Tuilleries Gardens.

This small hotel is everything the reviews say it is: perfectly located to enjoy the pleasures of St.Germain, close to the Louvre and accessible to the other museums,surrounded by cafes and a couple of good restaurants--try the Palette and Chez Fernande.

The location is great - easy to walk to Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Notre Dame, Musee Orsay, Cluny Museum, Pantheon.

And not much further afield you have Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, Musee d'Orsay, Cluny (the Museum of the Middle Ages, do *not* skip this gem with it's gorgeous tapestries of the "Lady with the Unicorn"), St. Sulpice, the Louvre, on and on.

but there are many cafes in the neighborhood that will also serve a decent breakfast.

The location can't be beat as it is close to so many things that you would want to see, and it's also in the neighborhood of St. Germain.

The St. Germain neighborhood was walkable to the Notre Dame cathedral and the louvre.

This is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Paris.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful with taxis, neighborhood advice, help with navigating the city during the strike.

It is well located and yet still a neighborhood, relatively quiet

This was our first time in Paris and I did a lot of research on which neighborhood and hotel to stay in and we were so happy with our choice!

Feels more like you are living in your own neighborhood for a week or two rather than staying in a hotel.

I will definitely recommend this hotel and neighborhood for anyone visiting Paris!
