The location was good and quiet, and really close to the metro so we could travel anywhere.

The hotel is nicely located near place d'Italie and several metro lines, and close to the rue du Moufetard and Pantheon neighbourhoods.

but easy to navigate by taxi, uber, or metro.

but good metro connection and area feels like Paris still.

La Manufacture is right on the Place d'Italie, which is a very hip area with lots of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance, a short bus ride to St-Germain-des-Pres and the Luxembourg Gardens, and a one-minute walk to the Metro station.

It is true that the room + bathroom are small,

They gave us a ridiculously small room, disgusting bathroom and lots of mold on the carpet and curtains.

As usual in Paris, the room is tiny which was a disappointment considering the price.

Negatives
Main big problem in Paris heat- no refrigerated air conditioning, they only have evaporated air conditioning.

The air con could have done with being turned up a notch in the hot weather.

We were besieged with electrical issues due to a faulty iron…twice it blew all the power points on two separate days….ultimately fixed after a couple of requests.

As regards the rest of the hotel, the service at the reception desk was poor in respect that we had explained the air conditioning issue to one of the receptionists who was going to fix the matter whilst we were out.

The website, app, and every document related to this hotel reservation indicated A/C would be available.

The air conditioning wasn't working the room was sooo hot!couldn't open windows because of noise.

The air conditioner struggled to keep up with the warm summer days in Paris, so sleeping was a bit sticky,

Stuff tells me that "AC is the same in all rooms".

The night before we left they offered us to change rooms, providing not feedback on the AC.

On the first night we arrived the air conditioning wasn't working satisfactorily, we reported this to reception and the next day they said they had changed the filter and it was (very slightly) better,

After 3 nights of waking up drenched in my own sweat and having considered all options (virus, aircon, stress, etc) I finally checked the bed and realised Novotel, a 4 star hotel, uses plastified matrass covers right under the bed sheet.

No portable heater available even I requested for one.

This could be such a good hotel if it would only do something about it's heating system!

Even so, we had only one outlet that was working in the whole unit.

For a 4 star hotel, the a/c definitely wasn't up to scratch and the breakfast was a mess - they could arrange two areas especially during high season.

The only complaint I might have was the air conditioning was not too powerful

They came to check the a/c and they said that it would not get colder.

Novotel Les Halles is very well located, next to Westfield Forum Les Halles - a great mall, near RER and Metro.

The metro is also located right in the front of it!

A lot of places are reachable by foot so you will not have to travel using metro.

Also the front Desk, Olivier was very kind and helped with means to transit the city via metro.

Nice location with very short walk to Louvre, metro stop, Rue Montorgueil, children's garden.

The location was perfect on the metro stop.

You can easily walk, get  taxi, get a city bike, or take the metro to all the sites from the hotel.

This station is with escalators so we could come directly fron CDG with the RER train and land practically in the lobby with our trolleys.

Right next door is the entrance to the metro and RER as well as the convenience of a Westfield.

The location is perfect with a metro right by it.

Incredible location - walkable to many attractions, right next to Les Halles metro stop, and door to do to CDG.

It is a great convenient location, short walk to Pompidou, five mins to Pont Neuf, 15 mins to Louvre etc., and Chatelet metro is literally at the hotel front door and it’s the train line from Charles de Gaulle airport and Gare de Lyon and other stations.

This is a standard hotel in a convenient location (walking distance) to most of Paris main attractions with the metro right out the front and major shopping centres at the rear.

Bus, metro, and RER are all easily accessible.

Metro stations were right outside the hotel, and tons of restaurants were nearby.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the metro and RER.

But the worse was a fire drill that launched the alarms at 120db and where we were instructed by hotel personnel to stay in our room for several minutes.

Cons: 
in the middle of construction - loud construction noises/banging/drilling starting 10am everyday for the entire 6 days we stayed.

Negatives:
1) Currently, there are some road constructions going on, so hard to get Uber to come by.

There was some construction on the streets and some roads were closed so maybe that's the reason why the driver couldn't get any closer or maybe he didn't know the right way.

Hopefully all this construction work will be done soon and this will no longer be an issue.

Someone wrote about some metro construction, it´s all done now, and you can acces the metro-rer-station right on the front door of the hotel (exit Porte m. de Navarre).

NB, there is no place for taxi to come  near to the hotel due to the construction going on  (No problem for the noise).

The only disappointments were the slow check in and the noisy construction work outside,

The only inconvenience was getting to the hotel by taxi due to the construction work which is almost complete.

We found out that the construction has been ongoing for about a year.

Only downside is that it's under construction, so taxi cannot take you to front.

The construction around the hotel, which was a bit of a bummer, will be done by September.

The location's construction problem was not so bad because we didn't have massive suitcases.

The construction (for a metro station entrance/exit) in front of the hotel is almost over and should make it even better connected with the metro lines.

The roads surrounding the hotel are under construction which makes UBER and TAXI drop offs a little difficult

Location is very central, walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame, Metro (Les Halles) and the only issue is that because of the construction to Les Halles, taxis couldn't drop us at the hotel

but only after construction is fully completed.

The Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay, St. Chappelle, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, and many more places.

Walking distance to a few places and metro is very close.

We went outside and saw many and had no trouble hailing one and arrived at Gare De L’est with plenty of time to spare (we wanted to avoid the gare de l’est metro station because we had had a violent encounter with an attempted pickpocket there a few days prior).

The hotel is a bit of a walking distance from Metro, about 8 min walk from Pasteur or Montparnasse, which is OK on a nice, sunny day.

The location is very good, only a few blocks from multiple metro stations so it is very conveniently located.

although we only done this once as we got day tickets for the metro line which meant you could hop on and off all day around Paris.

The hotel is 7 mins walk from two Metro stations: Pasteur (Green 6 and 12 lines) and Gaîté (light blue line 13).

Well located close to the train station of Montparnasse and to the metro stations.

If returning to Paris we would not choose it again as it was not close enough to the metro stations.

Short walk to the Pasteur Metro and right next to gare montparnasse.

To use the metro from the airport it was 20+ euros and a taxi was 50 hope this helps!

It was very easy to get to the Paris Metro line and the there are some very nice places to eat close to the hotel.

A very clean and modern hotel about a 10-min walk to Pasteur metro or Gare Montparnasse.

The most convenient metro stations are Pasteur and Gaité.

USB ports didn't work, had to use main power source to charge mobile phones.

Upon arrival the hotel staff required our employee to provide their own credit card and charged the entire stay on their card.

But be careful of their card keys -- they tend to erase when near metro cards or cell phones.

Only issue I had was I kept having trouble with my card to gain access to the lift to bring me to my room.

I had written to the email address: H5060@accor.com to dispute the charges,

I have NEVER ONCE been asked to retrieve a room card.

For example, our key cards would not work on our second day.

The key card rarely worked and I had to walk down five flights of stairs on two occasions because the key didn’t work in the elevator.

The hotel charges €18 per head and we decided not to take it.

After speaking with a manager he then asked for my credit card as a guarantee to which i replied we were leaving hence they did not need it.

I was charged two times in my credit card and nobody gives an answer.

Regretfully, I do not know his name to get him the credit he deserved

One day's charges were deducted from our credit card instead of blocking and he kept arguing in a rude way when it was pointed out.

Only down side - housekeeping ignored "do not disturb" sign and used our equipment for charging phones.

but they put ~$50 of charges on our bill for breakfasts we did not get; they took it off once we pointed it out.

The receptionist was only interested in selling me an over-priced full breakfast and swiping my credit card (I had paid in advance four months previously).

Electricity seems to be sporadic and seemed weaker at night to charge electronics.

When I asked to speak to someone in charge, I was palmed off each time with an excuse that the manager was not there.

After a night on a rock hard bed we advised reception and were moved to a newer room still tiny but bed was better
We had dinner vouchers for our booking but despite giving vouchers to restaurant were charged after we had left hotel and has not been advised at checkout this is devious and deceptive giving us no opportunity to dispute the charge 
I have emailed for a reversal of charge but still no response 
Not good given we are Accor club members

This is also the area close to the Luxembourg Gardens and St Sulpice and St Germain churches and where the authors of Hemmingway's time used to meet as a literary group.

but it is close to the Metro and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Luxembourg Gardens among other things.

Although the room was quite small for a family of 4 we were not in the room long enough for it to be a problem and all the benefits to this hotel more than made up for this.

The rooms were small, AC was a challenge.

the rooms are too small for a international traveller with luggage it is evan difficult to walk inside the room.

The room was too small and they didn’t clean the room well when we left for the day, even the towels weren’t changed, the staff weren’t helpful at all when we tried to ask them for help for a taxi!

Room much too small for a four-star hotel, there wasn't even room to open our suitcase.

The rooms are small and the bathroom is quite small with an almost useless small bath and a separate shower.

The restaurant is really too small for the number of rooms in the hotel.

The major issue we found is that, our room was particularly small.

Like a lot of other people have commented the rooms are small and very little room to move around.

Awesome location, restaurants everywhere, 5 mins to river & Metro, close to Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dome.

Metro was very close , people were very friendly and the desk.

Located on the left bank in the Latin Quarter 5 minutes to Notre Damm and easily accessible by  metro to other areas.

Metro station and stops for hop-on/hop-off buses were around the corner.

Right near the St. Michel metro, near Notre Dame, St. Germain de Pres, Ile St. Loius, Luxembourg Gardens, the Marais and the Louvre.

Close to so many restaurants, bars, metros and landmarks.

Notre Dame is an easy 5 minute walk (if that) and there is a Metro Station 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Most importantly the location was amazing, you are close too good food spots as well as grocery stores and the metro, and walking is a must and to get to many of the landmarks all you need too do it walk in one direction which is amazing for someone with a horrible sense of direction, staff are helpful and in reception 24/7.

If you want a comfortable, small boutique hotel close to Notre Dame and the Seine with the Metro close by to access the rest of the city, you should consider this one.

This is a quaint hotel that is located in a great location in the Latin Quarter for shopping, dining and near the Metro for transport.

It was such a great location, super close to the metro.

We had three nights in the hotel which is in a great location near the metro with a large number of restaurants close to it.

This smaller sized hotel provides charm and a great staff in a location right next to a major RER and Metro stop.

Location couldn’t be better; close to 2 Metro stations and many sites, restaurants and great patios.

10 minute walk to Notre Dame, 20 minute walk to Louvre, 20 minute metro to Arc and Champs Elyse.

The metro was at the end of the street if we needed to get further.

The location was fantastic as it was a short walk to Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and many cafes and restaurants.

Also, because it is in the part of Paris that we love staying in, close to the river, close to Luxembourg Gardens, close to Blvd St. Germain.

This area of the city is filled with nightlife, cozy streets, restaurants and is an easy walk to Norte Dame and the Luxembourg Gardens.

If you're a light sleeper, bring a mask and earplugs - you could hear the noise of the street at night, and sirens in the distance here and there,

but comfortable, the sound proofing are not too good, also it seems to me that the house keeper was in a hurry to finish her cleaning and forgot to supply the coffee bag in few occasions

Quiet and air conditioned rooms, a bit small.

but even on the weekend it was quiet after 11PM (maybe due to less tourists in Aug).

I couldn't sleep because I heard the noise outside until dawn, and

It was noisy, dirty and the room needed attention.

Lots of noise from the street 24/7, so no possibility to sleep with open windows.

However, there was annoying buzzing noise every 90 to 120 seconds in the ceiling by bathroom.

It's an old hotel so the walls are thin and the insulation is minimal between rooms.

but there were spiderwebs on the ceiling needs be cleaned
