 - We walked to the Notre Dame, only about 30 minutes away, and got the Batosbus service on the river to take us to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and other landmarks.
 - They sold us our tickets to the Louvre and an On-Off Bus (highly recommend for first trip to Paris).

 - The hotel is air conditioned and has a small elevator.
 - The only not so great thing we remember was a ridiculously small elevator
 - Dont be scared of the elevator, its a bit crammed
 - Just keep in mind that the elevator only fits 2 people which I heard is common in Paris.
 - but be warned if anyone suffers from fear of small spaces then the 1.2m x 0.75m lift will make their hair curl.

 - The only negative point is that there is no lift.
 - If you have more than 3 travel bags (average size) the elevator will be too small to you.
 - The elevator had just broken when we arrived (it was fixed quickly) and she insisted on carrying my suitcase up to the third level.
 - The room and the elevator could have been slightly bigger,
 - but the whole place has a family-owned feel. The elevator is teeny tiny (as are the rooms, but are you really in Paris for the hotel??)
