We walked pretty much everywhere from the hotel (it‘s about 20 minutes to Les Halles) and if you need, there is a Metro station 2 minutes away.

It’s not far from the hustle and bustle of grands boulevard if you are wanting to visit Musée Grevin, Hard Rock Cafe and Musée du gourmand chocolat aswell as many other cafes, bistros and the huge Galeries Lafayette at the end.

Very good location near Galeries Lafayette, Printemps and Grand Boulevards area, the epitome of belle-epoque Paris.

My husband and I were able to easily walk to the Arc de Triomphe, Galeries Lafayette, Musee du Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame.

Close by Hotel 34B, is lourve museum, notre dame cathedral, Gare du Nord (Eurostar station) galeries lafayette.

Loved the location close to L'Opera and Galeries Lafayette and the Metro station only a 5 minute walk.

even stepped away from the front desk to send us our passport number so we could get our VAT refund while shopping ahd Galeries Lafayette.

Local restaurants very good (although we had booked in advance) and the metro stop (Grands Boulevards) is about a 3 minute walk away; only two stops from Opera/Galeries Lafayette, or you can just walk there in about 9 minutes.

It's not too far a walk from the centre of action, straight south through Palais Royale will lead to the Louvre and Galeries Lafayette is a couple of short blocks away.

There is close access to the Metro, particularly if you plan to shop at Galeries Lafayette or Printemps - only 2 metro stops away.

Loads of eateries nearby and just off Boulevard Haussman, 10-12 minutes to Galeries Lafeyette walking distance to Pompidou, Notre Dame and Montorgueil area.

They went online, researched, and recommended Galeries Lafayette which closed in an hour.

The hotel is about a 15 mins walk from the Louvre and close to all the best shopping areas such as Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Rue Royal.

The neighbourhood is perfect for entertainment with very good restaurants, famous stores like Galeries Lafayette easy access.

If you like shopping then Galeries Lafayette is just a lovely stroll up Boulevard Montmartre and then Boulevard Haussmann.

We wanted to see the Christmas window displays in Galleries Lafayette and Printemps and were were not disappointed, making several short walking trips there.

It is a decent walk from Opera and Lafayette Galleries, and the Louvre is walkable as well.

The hotel is very well located, 10min walk to Opera and Lafayette, with access to many metro stations which makes it easier to get to any attraction point in Paris.

The location is very good - on the Grand Boulevard metro station nearby Opera, Gallery Lafayette and Printemps, Louvre, Madlen, Montmartre, you can reach all this places by foot.

We did struggle a bit with storing our belongings as the room was small

There was just one small hanging rail for clothes so we left our clothes in our suitcases which we had to keep closed and stood up as the room was small it was a struggle with 2 people in it.

The room is so small that if you put an upright suitcase on the side of the bed, you can not walk around it.

Any longer might have been slightly challenging given the very limited places to hang and put clothes -

We like walking so the hotel was close enough for us to walk to the Seine and galleries Lafayette.

We read about the tiny rooms in Paris and the bedbugs and hence approached the hotel with apprehension.

Rooms are a little small by US standards,

Rooms on the small side and could use some maintenance (drywall putty in bathroom was an eyesore and shelf falling down)

but larger room this time, because the basuc twin room was too small to move around in it.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the metro station is very close by.

We strongly recommend this hotel situated half way between Monmartre and the Seine with plenty of metro options to get about Paris.

Location is very good near metro and Moulin Rouge, where you can also find KFC, McDonalds, Starbucks and even Five Guys - for those who want to ignore French food for a while.

The hotel has the perfect location: two steps from the Moulin Rouge, the metro and the bus stop.

A 15 minute walk turning right out of the hotel main door lead us straight to the Opera and the Galeries Lafayette, and a 5 minute walk to the left of the hotel door lead us to Moulin Rouge, and, 15 minutes later, all uphill mind you, we were at the top of Montmartre/Sacré-Coeur.

but also super well located for walking (right beneath Montmartre or just 15 mns walk to the Galeries Lafayette/Opera).

The location is brilliant: close to Gare de l'Est, where I arrived, a 20-minute-walk from the Sacre Coeur and a 10-minute-walk from Galeries Lafayette (a fine department store) , a stone's throw from Moulin Rouge and other theatres and near a lot of cafes, restaurants, pharmacies etc.

Not only is the location superb (9th arrondisement, 4 min away from the Moulin Rouge & 10min away from Galeries Lafayette), the decoration is quirky & fun and the staff makes your hotel stay special !!

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location within walking distance of the Moulin Rouge, Sacre coeur and shopping at the galiries Lafayette.

The location is very convenient, close to the Metro station (though we UBER most of the time), Walking distance to Montmartre area, main shopping areas Galaries Lafayette/Printemps etc.

although near Moulin Rouge, is excellent as you can walk to Galerie Lafayette (about 10-15 minutes) and for everything else we just did Uber.

It took us about 15 min to walk to Lafayette.

About 20-30 minutes down the road is Galleries Lafayette and the Opera.

Location is good considering Paris is not a small town (close to Mouline Rouge, to Metro Blanche, 10 minutes to Gallerie LaFayette), rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms big, service really helpful (my wife had an early check-in and they made an exception letting her in before the usual time, also we had a good check-out experience.

The bathroom was small and compact with a powerful shower.

We had a shower and bath, to get a shower you had to step into the bath, bath is small and can be slippery. We had a really comfortable bed (interesting mirror on the ceiling?)

On the other hand there was no AC (country to the website) to at least get fresh air in  during the night (which was necessary in such a small room) as opening the window with all the Parisian noise wasn't an option.

but it's a  budget hotel, so the rooms are small and walls are relativ thin, you could easily hear your neighbor in the next room.

Having never been to Paris before we we’re looking for a walking distance to attractions and the Metro.

I must add that its situated in a very good location in perfect proximity to tourist attractions with the metro and bus.

Rome metro is nearby and there is a very good bus number 80 that take you to place d’Alma

It was a good stay in hotel, Metro station Rome was just few a mins walk away.

The hotel is close to the train station and bus are nearby.

Just spent 3 nights here, the hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the Rome metro station.

this is the fourth time I have stayed here, as usual their service is very good, friendly service at breakfast especially from Tej,  This is  what makes me always stay here and the other reason is the strategic location very close to Metro Rome and Gare Paris St Lazare, free snacks and drinks in the room and in the lobby pantry which are always refilled.

Their location in the 8th district is just perfect for catching the metro to all the main attractions.

Beautiful hotel off the beaten path yet less than 10 minute walk from multiple metro stops and a train station.

Nice location, a few minutes walk from the Rome metro (which has a line going to Champs Elysees), which also connects to the Eiffel tower line.

Metro only a long block away, very convenient.

Only drawback is the lift is a bit small and difficult to use when there’s lot of people.

though with the lift (elevator), it’s really small.

but i think they should mention it as some people cant stand the heat even in may, the elevator is so small but it shouldn't be a problem if you are a family of 3 and no stroller, we had to put the stroller in reception as it was no room for that in our room.

Be aware when reception tell you to get the first lift it is tiny!

but gets no sunlight at all so is always quite dark and dismal and not good if you are at all claustrophobic it is also right next to the lift shaft so can be noisy for the breakfast rush.

The lift use stopped around midnight and seemed to recommence around 05:30/6am so we got very little sleep.

The lift is gorgeous and teeny, nothing we’ve seen before.

Oh yes, they have a small elevator so heavy, bulky luggage isn't  a problem.

The lift didnt go as far as my floor so had to take the last floor using the stairs.

although more should be done to the toilet. Hotel lift was exceptionally small - can take at max 2 people & 2 pieces of luggage (which is a good experience!)

There is a smallish lift available that goes up to the fifth floor and then a short flight of stairs up to the top, sixth, floor.

On the day of our check out, the lift broke down.
