 - Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, major museums and tourist sites are all within walking distance -
 - The neighborhood was quiet, a few blocks to the nearest restaurant, a few blocks more to many, many museums.
 - We walked to almost all of the museums we wanted to visit and had a Metro stop three blocks way for the rest.

 - The tour of the Louvre arranged by concierge was ideal.
 - The hotel is at the quiet street yet nearby to everything „essential“ (Champs-Elysees, Eiffel, Louvre).
 - but close enough to the tourist attractions (short walk to Plaza Vendome, Galleries Lafayette, Opera House, Louvre, Tuileries, etc)
 - Very closed to Champs Élysées, Designers street, grands magasins, Louvre !!!

 - The spread was excellent having, fruits, yogurt, cold cuts and various bread and pastries.
 - but these are difficult to find, and we had a private air conditioned car (the only time I was cold in Paris lol) for 70 euro.
 - It was cold and still in the black plastic plates.
 - The breakfast buffet is a bargain at €22- nothing like starting your day with country breads & pastry, eggs, bacon ,sausage & a truly European cold cut spread like you have never seen.
 - but the selection of items, both hot and cold, were limited compared to a very large hotel such as the Westin nearby where we had previously stayed.

 - Great location and I’m sure the views are wonderful if you have a room overlooking the jardin des Tuileries.
 - My room was facing the city, on Rue de Rivoli right directly onto Le Jardin des Tuileries, with unobstructed views of the Eifel tower, the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre.
 - This is a lovely hotel situated in a fantastic location with extraordinary views from the rooms overlooking the Jardin des Tuileries, including the Tour Eiffel, Les Invalides, Musee D’Orsey and of course the Louvre.
 - With views of the Jardin des Tuileries and the Eiffel Tower, the room is exactly as shown in the hotel website, spacious and thoughtfully furnished and accessorized.

 - We were in one of the Ambassador suites with a large balcony overlooking the Vendome Column and Tuileries Garden.
 - At check-in they were nice enough to upgrade me based on my Titanium status to a room overlooking the Tuileries gardens with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
 - It is next to the Tuileries Garden where there is a loverly carousel and play park for the kids.
 - Room with a balcony overlooking the Tuileries garden and the Eiffel Tower.

 - With shopping at FSH and Galeries Lafayette within walking distance, sightseeing at the Louvre, and the rest of Paris on metro within a few minutes, the location is amazing.
 - It's a short walk to the Louvre and L'Orangerie, and a short taxi to the Eiffel Tour.
 - The location of the hotel itself is prime - situated 10 minutes walking distance to the Louvre, 15 to the Galeries Lafayette/ Palais Garnier, across the street from the Tuileries Garden Christmas market, and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shops.
 - Historic hotel in a fantastic location in the center of Paris - the Louvre and the Tuileries, the Seine and the Left Bank, the Musee d'Orsay, etc are all within walking distance, as is the Metro Line 1, making for very convenient sightseeing.
 - We were upgraded with our suite award and Titanium status to an amazing suite on the top floor over looking the Christmas Market, Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Jardin des Tuileries, Champs-Elysees, among other landmarks/sights.

 - They serve the most fabulous cocktails in the bar (I had the non alcoholic Morning Tonic that I think is the best cocktail I've had) and the food is delicious, it's warm and cosy and lovely if you're travelling on your own.
 - Breakfast was great and I tried eggs different ways and their pancake was surprisingly good.
 - Breakfast at Le First was excellent.
 - The breakfast buffets was delicious and well-stocked, and housekeeping always ensured our room was clean and restocked each day.

 - Fête des Tuileries (fun fair) was going on during the stay so was a bit noisy.
 - although it is massive: horrible view, constant loud noise from machine mechanics (with closed windows) and constant screaming while people are scared by the attractions.
 - Just too noisey.
 - The rooms are not in tip top condition, with chipped paintwork and perhaps generally in need of a bit of updating, and the soundproofing between the rooms was terrible, as we could hear the conversations in the next room even at normal speaking voice,
 - The rooms are tired, as is typical of a hotel of this age that sees the traffic they see.

 - Spa Is closed had to pay at other hotel… where Covid did not keep spa closed.
 - but they're ridiculously expensive.
 - but given the nightly rate is quite high/at the level of a luxury hotel (plus the fact that there's a Renaissance nearby, along with other non-Marriott properties that are more updated), the rooms here at the Westin could definitely be improved.
 - Maybe we got this room because of our rate?
 - We are paying the full rate for these hotels Now.
