 - My room was facing the city, on Rue de Rivoli right directly onto Le Jardin des Tuileries, with unobstructed views of the Eifel tower, the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre.

 - Nearby restaurant of La Table de Colette was worth the journey to Paris alone.
 - Had bench space and side tables for extra storage and great lighting.
 - We were fortunate to be upgraded to a top floor room which had a small terrace with chairs and a table facing the street, and a second terrace facing the inner garden courtyard.
 - We had room #3 with a small garden terrace, table and chairs outside our door which was a nice area for a smoker.

 - although we went down at 9.40 there were several items finished and not replenished ie scrambled eggs, sausages, smoked salmon.
 - but it seemed that there was only one session of cooking (sausage; mushroom; and scrambled eggs), so if you had a lay in and got there after 10.00 am the egg was not that great.
 - The scrambled egg and sausages were also cold on a couple of mornings as no one had turned on the heater to keep them warm.

 - Rooms were a bit dark in decor for my liking,
 - The suite on the first floor was decorated in the Belle époque style with dark reds and blacks in abundance.
 - It was also a little dark and claustrophobic
 - Room lights are not enough and sometimes makes it very dark!
 - However, the lighting on the floor on which we stayed was incredibly dark, hence the 4 stars.

 - The location is quiet,
