but rue Clichy itself quiet so no disturbed nights.Taxis and buses also at the top of the road so we took a bus everywhere so we could see the sights (get a carnet of tickets at the metro station. Bus no 68 goes to Opera and across the Place Clichy the no 30 goes to Trocadero via the Arc de Triomphe.)

loved the bath, and the bedroom decor.the sound proofing ( room was right opposite a busy restaurant) is top class, didnot hear anything and slept really well.

but had a large and very comfortable queen size bed which made for a great nights sleep and the the waterfall shower was just what was needed after a long day sightseeing.

Our room was lovely, clean and serviced on a daily basis; it was great to have a jacuzzi in our en suite.

a massage while in the room bubble bath shall earn you everlasting gratitude!).

The hotel is amazing, - great location, lovely themed rooms with Jacuzzi and rainfall shower, spotlessly clean, great breakfast and most importantly the staff, - they were so helpful & friendly & this made our trip even more special.

No coffee in the room, then charging me for a cup to go, is also a pet peeve of mine.

but it was so problem and we were not charged for it!

All my guests took a card and said they would come back there if they need to stay in Paris.

but afterwards checked hotel website directly and was the same price so wish I had booked directly on their own website (booking was made within 7 days of arrival so would have been charged by booking.com to cancel)

The only problem we had was when we checked out they nearly charged us for the breakfast buffet and using the sauna and steam room.

We returned late one evening with a bottle of wine, I requested a bottle opener, they took our bottle, we went to our room and 2 minutes later the wine arrives in an ice bucket with two glasses and a bowl of nuts and olives ( no charge ) Now that is service.

One point to note is that if the hotel order a fixed rate taxi for you that you confirm this with the taxi as we got to the airport to find we were charged more than the original quote which was a bit annoying.

We are from NYC and we totally forgot to bring the outlet converter to charge our cameras, the front desk staff had every converter you can imagine.

The minor one was I felt the breakfasts were a little ‘lightweight’ for the price guests pay within their room charge.

but upon arriving at the hotel the staff phoned them and it turned out the taxi company had a mix up and the staff arranged with them to pick us up for our departure free of charge!!

(note: they do not pre authorise a card or anything, they make you feel at home and you pay on check out - a real plus)
We stayed in the Musee D'Orsay room and it was perfect.

There is NO CHARGE to change rooms so take advantage!

but it is pretty sad when you know that is why they charge so much, for a few extra bits of plastic and wood put up to look like a monument.

he said it was a waiting charge this is a disgrace such a shame really mad our stay a bad experience .

I had forgotten that the cost was not included and there was no reminder anywhere in the dining room that there was a charge.

but we were not notified someone would be in our room and we did not know there was a problem with the bath, he also used our iphone charger to charge his phone whilst he was fixing the bath.

The concept is really different and the design amazing.

Everything is amazing at the hotel: rooms are very clean and stylish, sauna and steam room are really great for a hotel and you can have it 24/7!

The whole hotel had a wonderful ambiance and was beautiful-we loved hearing about the concept and the history.

The location was great for getting around the city with a choice of Metro stations and  plenty of cafe’s bars and restaurants nearby. Lovely little place to share some secrets too :)

We arrived at mid-day and as expected our room wasn’t ready.

Our luggage had been delivered to the room already.

My gf and I stayed in the Musee d'Orsay room and it was amazing, not to mention the Jacuzzi: unbelievable.

A little too dark with red & heavy curtains (should have paid €10 more per room night to get room Musee D'orsay which might be brightly lit).

but can not believe the reviews are so positive, it might be unique but totally impractical, we moved to a more central location, to a cheaper room without the glass toilet after one night.

Really tiny rooms for price and location..exception was the Atelier d'artiste room,
The cleanliness was not great.

but do not forget (as I did) that the cost is not included in your room fee - it is an additional 18 Euros per person, which is quite pricey if all you have is coffee and a piece of bread with cheese.

When you pay 250 there is little room for disappointment.

The wardrobe is tiny, bedside tables tiny, no view from the window, the bath shower and toilet is all in one that is tiny too and the lighting is not great, I cannot even put my make up on because it was so dim !

There were small mirrors on the ceiling which probably wouldn't be to everyone's taste.

The location was ideal; a stones throw from the Arc de Triomphe on a quiet side street.

The hotels location is perfect for sightseeing, it is just a short walk away from the Champs-Élysées and the Arc De Triomphe with lots of Metro stops nearby making all the sights very accessible.

The hotel is also very well located in Paris - close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees.

This is a 5-star hotel and it is conveniently located only several blocks away from Arc de Triomphe.

The location of the hotel is superb, there are 2 metro stations at 6 minutes of walk and The Arc de Triomphe at 10.

It is a gem hidden steps from the Champs Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe.

This was a little boutique hotel just off the Champs Eleysee and because of this we were just a stones throw from the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro, making it very easy to visit all of the other attractions.

It’s within minutes away from the Arc de Triomphe and a nice 20 minute walk to River Seine.

Not far off the Champs Elysee Avenue, which has all the best stores to shop in right at your doorstep basically, Cleopatra's Needle and The Arc De Triomphe.

The two minute walk to the champs élysées shopping strip was very convenient and the arc de triomphe around the corner was a delight to see every day.

The real clincher for this place is the location of this hotel which is within 10 mins of walk to the Arc de Triomphe and all the large marquee brand stores on Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

Ten minute walk to Rue Montagne for designer shopping, ten minute walk to Arc de Triomphe, 6 minute cab ride to Galeries Lafeyette, just a super location.

The bathroom was spacious and very clean and the bathrobes and slippers were a lovely added touch.

The room, especially for European standard, is huge with an amazing bathroom and extremely well decorated space.

The service was impeccable on every level: front desk, stewards, room service and housekeeping were all exceptional, both in terms of skill and guest-centered approach to service. The small touches: a box of macarons, Eiffel tower shaped sweets, the lovely robes (and being our tech support when we couldn't figure out the whirlpool tub!)

Easy check-in and hotel has all the amenities you need - gym, bar, restaurant etc.

The bathroom was huge with a bath as well as a big shower and lots of space to put your stuff out on a table and shelves etc.

The jacuzzi bath is fabulous after walking around beautiful Paris all day.

The hotel is boutique (which we loved) so not too busy and breakfast is cosy and delicious, great location, impeccably decorated, incredibly comfortable beds, luxury towels and bathrooms, the staff were so kind and helpful and honestly the scent around the hotel was so amazing we asked what it was and have bought a bottle for ourselves to have at home in London.

We booked the executive suite ..the room was beautiful and the bathroom very luxurious and spotless.

Ilona ensured the lone available suite (Signature Suite) was reserved for us, and even held it while I fought with my bank for the payment to go through--over the course of three calls, and several attempts, she was nothing

The room was nothing to call home about in my opinion.

I called the front desk and they immediately had a private doctor on call that they sent to my room within 30 minutes.

but did not need it as there was alot more information and if that was the case why didn't they call us?

We had to place two calls to get an ice bucket and our fridge was not working which we reported

but ours didn't, although reception advised if we wanted coffee to call down & it would be delivered to our room, which we did on 2 occasions.

We arrived late due to Eurostar problems starving hungry just before the restaurant was due to close, we had been in our room just long enough to remove our coats and freshen up when the phone rang with the concierge telling us there was a table for two ready for us in the restaurant if we needed it.

When I  rang back room service after the 3rd mix up I requested "please can I speak to someone who understands  English" I was told quote " maybe madame should learn French before coming to France" .

It was 33C on the day we arrived and the air conditioner leaked - a call to the front desk and the staff was there in ten minutes to fix it.

When we rang reception, we were told they had none to spare

5 star - non.. they asked us to call down to collect the tray.. when we did this they said - 'oh just leave it outside'.

We were quoted one price on the net and another by phone, this was cleared up without a scene and for that we are grateful.

You ring a bell and the door automatically pops open via the concierge.

The hotel is tiny, you have to ring a bell to gain entry and again for exit.

the breakfast was on time, I never asked for a wake up call.

The only negative side of the hotel is that the breakfast in the room and even the wake-up calls were not on time, so don't rely on them if you are on a strict schedule.

The only other potential disaster was no wake-up call being received

We had to call to have our mini-bar refilled.

Management made some very poor service decisions.

Because of the poor english skills some room service staff continually got the room service order completely wrong.

Very pricy (breakfast not included), small lift, very poor wirless connection, tiered rooms, tv not working, etc.

Other downfall was a very, very restricted wine list (and even then they still did not have our choices) so we drank some rather poor wine here - surely unforgivable in France.

Although the prices in Paris at present do generally take your breath away with the poor exchange rate.

- Equipment in the room was poor and we have slept in rooms that were better cleaned during our stay.

Altogether a really nice stay at a lovely hotel steps from the Champs Elysées and all the fabulous shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood exploring quaint little shops and cafes.

This last stay was no exception and even more exciting and amazing: Solène together with the hotel staff, the restaurant chef and his team made the celebration of our birthdays a real dream!

Then we were told that a restaurant was a twenty minute drive in taxi when it was only five blocks away and we could have walked there.

but taxis and ubers made them more accessible, although we didn’t try the restaurant it looked very nice, we did order room service once which was delivered fast  and was delicious, overall we would stay here again and would recommend it to any traveler looking for quiet luxury in the heart of paris

Room service was prompt and always available.

We had breakfast every morning and had dinner in the restaurant one night and were treated like we were the only people in the hotel .

The waiters were very attentive and the food & wine excellent!

Once we arrived, every staff member we interacted with was beyond gracious and accommodating, even as we likely committed some very American faux-pas (to the lovely restaurant staff who sent us croissant with our coffee every time: you are gems).

It was a joy to take breakfast each morning at their Le Bayadere restaurant as well as an evening cocktail/snack at the bar.

The bar and restaurant serves wonderful cuisines and tasty drinks.

The restaurant was very pretty and the breakfast was quite tasty.

My husband had a fresh breakfast in the restaurant every day for 29E.

The front desk, doorman, restaurant, everyone exhibited A+ customer service, always with a smile, helping hand, can do attitude.

A very beautiful hotel and close to the Champs Elysee, several metro stops and a variety of excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.

It was also in a really good location and the restaurant in the hotel had excellent service and food.

Book a table in the restaurant at arrival if you are planning to have dinner.

In the evening we found a new decoration in the room for both me and my boyfriend.

The rooms are excellent, well ventilated and newly renovated.

The staff was extemely rude, that combined with their overcharging our credit card without our authorization has made for continued aggrevation.

Staff was impeccably nice and very welcoming.

We are very happy to call Elysia hotel our second home and the Elysia hotel staff our second family!
