Still have a $1,270 hold on my credit card.

When reviewing my bill I noticed a $118 restaurant charge , still not sure what it was

He ended up bringing it to the room himself and we were still charged the total price of the bottle including the room service fee.

Will be challenging it with my credit card.

So I tried to explain to her that when someone is given  a gift card they want to use it against the whole hotel charge.

I was charged full price for an awful experience the hotel manager Asim did nothing the corporate office did nothing Shayla Johnson was rude and inconsiderate and has never followed up with me.

As American Express card holders we were able to check-in an hour early, got a $100 resort credit and I still feel like we got taken advantage of.

Then when we checked our bill, we noticed that a 10% take out charge was added to the bill.

Check your bill - i was charged for a water that I did not drink,

the server at he pool added a few extra dollars for my order when it clearly stated $12 dollars for an appetizer and charged $14 .. once i mentioned to correct the bill he tried to tell me that was the cost.. i showed him the menu cost and he continued to go back and forth with me.

but jeez after having a look at my bill (which they didn’t send me btw - I had to call and request it when I saw my credit card statement)  they added on at least 50$ a night extra in hidden fees.

It created a fight, and if we hadn't just driven multiple hours to get there we would have told them to cancel the entire reservation and refund if completely, given that they ran the card for WAY more than what we were told it would cost.

but didn't think they needed to charge $2 for a tiny bag of popcorn.

So, we are given food credit that we don't want and would rather have a good room experience.

For the price we paid for the room $400 per night plus all of their added charges, I would have expected a much better experience.

however that Hotel charged us for a resort fee, even though they offered us lodging at no cost they still found someway to charge us something.

And to top it off, our final bill had MULTIPLE mistakes and charges that we never made.

Asked about the Spa and where to go for Golf in the morning and was just redirected to a map.

Service: from Juana at the front desk to Jose NUnez Who gave us a ride on the golf course, to all the pool side attendants to the front desk at the spa to the masseuse, 10/10- incredible service at the property.

4 night stay with my son while he plays in a golf tournament.

We were pleased with the room as it was in a building that faced the ponds on the golf course and  was on the second level with a nice balcony.

The maintenance of this golf course is disgraceful and has greatly diminished the world class Omni brand.

We had a nice balcony overlooking the golf course and our six-year-old daughter had a BLAST in the splash pad and lazy river area.

Our room overlooked the golf course and had a king bed.

What we got was a bargain basement room, partially overlooking a golf course in the back of the property.

And the staff was nice, even gave us a late night golf cart tour.

The golf course is gorgeous and seems well kept.

Throughout our stay the staff was very friendly, especially Hugo who drove us back and forth on the golf cart.

When we arrived we got a down stairs room with a view of the golf coarse.

Take advantage of the free golf and get out there early.

The beds and linens are wonderful and the view of the golf course was quiet and serene.

My sisters and granddaughters stayed this last weekend at Omni Rancho Las Palmas.

The lazy river is nice- they even have little infant floats with the bottom sealed in the inner tube.

My son can ride big thunder at Disneyland

The lazy River was really fun and my daughter loved the slide.

but wanted my son to have fun and enjoy a water slide and lazy river.

My family (myself, wife, and our 9 year old and 5 year old daughters) stayed here for a 3 day weekend from June 18-20.

I can't wait to come back and bring my kid to the amazing kids pool.

We stayed here as part of a spring break trip with our 3 young kids (7, 5, and 3).

The grounds were actually pretty nice and it was cool that they had an adult pool and also the kids area, which was chaotic,

Hotel is definitely kid friendly & perfect if you want the kids to enjoy the pool & lazy river.

Splashtopia was a lot of fun and my toddler son enjoyed biking around the large property.

Several pools, including what looks to be a great kids area with a water park and a beach!

The lazy river is super fast and warm, slides are awesome, and my daughter loves the covered sand area.

The kids were delighted with the pool, the lazy river and the slide.

On July 5 we had a cabana by the beach area in splashtopia, my 8 yr old son Racer was walking back towards us and walked into to a cement bridge he split the top of his head open fell backwards and split the back open the firman and ambulance guys and girls were amazing

First time, kids had a great time at the pool and we had no complaints.

It's so hot in Palm Springs area during the summer that the extra hour would be great.

There are plenty of options for food and drink on-site and the location is about 25 minutes to downtown Palm Springs.

This is hands down our favorite water park in the Palm Desert area.

The palm trees around property were lovely to look at, and created a fun environment, and I also really enjoyed the froze at the Pool, highly recommend!

We normally take family trips to the Palm Springs area a few times during the summer so the kids can enjoy pool time and decided to try out this Omni since there was a water park.

We have been to Palm Springs plenty of times,

But this place, with its marvelous spanish architecture, beautiful pool area, excellent fitness room, spacious accommodations, as well as good access to the Palm Springs area, is worth a stay.

Nearby Palm Dessert & Palm Springs are an easy, short drive.

Omni resort in Palm Springs was an amazing experience!!

The hotel has all the Palm Springs basics (pool, lazy river, spa).

but streamlined, adequate and with easy access to Palm Springs and environs.

I decided to give it a try and see how was palm springs because I wanted to celebrate my birthday ( September 7th) close to home and not traveling out of the country

We visited Omni in palm dessert with our two daughters ages 10 and 12 this labor day weekend.

Not too far from Palm Spring and a good shopping and food mall across the street.

Anyone going to the Palm Springs area has lots of great options,

When we go to the Palm Springs area, we always stay at the Omni.

Ended up leaving and booking last minute 2x the price rooms just to have somewhere to sleep.

This summer I convinced a friend to spend the $500 (a night) rate with me so we could take our kids.

First off it’s wayyyyyyyy too expensive!!!

This knocked the price off about 30-40%

Room: outdated?

I will not be retuning even if the rates were half what we paid.

.we paid way too much for all the false advertising.

Do you imagine your relaxing days in Palm Springs covered in dust and listening to construction equipment back up alarms at full price a problem???

I then told her any where in the world accepts a gift card and deducts it from the hotel stay - room rate and taxes - gift card.

but for the price you are paying there are just too many things which should make you run away from this place. 1.

For the prices they charge for the rooms and for golf, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Our room rate was $833 per night before tax.

I expected better for the brand and the price.

So at a price tag of +$800 a night for a standard king room (including taxes and incidentals) I would encourage anyone coming to the Palm Desert/Palms Springs ares to book a night anywhere

but I  didn't pay much attention to it until he pointed one out and it was a Cockroach!

Horrible, Stay Away at All Costs, Shortage of Personnel!

The room was amazing (big, clean and comfortable).

After many room issues , checkin issues , and food issues over the years we actually have it a break for a couple of years.

We had to park two buildings away from our room which was fine

Currently at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Room 1612.

Our room had a poolside view which was nice.

We were given room 626 which was a great location in the 600 building and we were between the lobby/restaurant and the main pool area which was perfect for us.

To top it all off my husband paid for and ordered champagne to the room on mothers day morning which never arrived!

The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful!

You’re definitely not getting a five or even four-star experience here, as they really turn out the rooms.

Our room was clean, very comfortable and quiet.

and took my replacement request, explaining that breakfast would be arriving our room at 730.

We then went to our room and it was in a pretty quiet place.

The only major concern for me was the smell coming from the closet and where the fridge was.

The Good:
-Nice landscaping
-Friendly Staff
-Nice adult pool area
-Location

The Not So Good:
-Dated dark rooms and dated bathrooms
-Multiple issues with cleanliness, see next comments
-Garbage on the floor in our room upon arrival
-Used bathroom toiletries in the bathroom upon arrival
-Adult pool gravely understaffed, overstuffed towel collection bin, deck chairs not cleared of dirty towels for hours, empty cups and plates not cleaned up for hours, single server could not attend to everyone's orders
-Most hand sanitizer stations were empty of sanitizer 
-Fitness center musty smelling, equipment did not look clean
-Barely qualifies as a "resort"

I would have a difficult time recommending this property.

The icing on the cake was that the concrete in Splashtopia was extremely hot and all 3 of my kids burned their feet.

Our room had ants in the bathroom, the walls were paper thin (we could smell marijuana from the next room) and hear there conversations, not just conversation,

The shower curtain-lining needed to be replaced as it was stained and the carpet was filthy.

My only complaints are: 

1) Azure Pool in the Evening- there was no lifeguard on duty and one child our first night was hitting people in the head with one or those strong water shooters…not relaxing really and there were tons if flies around for some reason, I also feel like the area in general could have been cleaned a little better, there were cigarette buds and just some mess around.

Long dark hairs were embedded in the towels and there were urine spots on the toilet.

lastly, the fridge in the room smelled of rotten milk so we couldn't use it.

Room smelled damp, the towels had holes in them, bed linens had seen better days, I could go on.

We could also smell their smoke when we were swimming.

Cockroach in the bathroom near the pool, loud AC unit all night, smelly towels (all of them), not enough servers at pool, ice machine not working, auto on lights in the bathroom for an extremely bright middle of the night trip, firm bed, the list goes on and on..

It is disgustingly dirty and old with the terrible smell in the room, bathroom and even drawers.

Bathroom was bad in building 31, old furniture, room smelled funky.

our room smelled like a mixture of kitty litter and throw up!

This time the lazy river had the dirty feet smell as well.

but my room was filthy bed was old and uncomfortable no screen door on patio overall extremely disappointed for the cost of the room.

In addition to that, you can leave the hotel and there's a ton to do around the area, palm springs downtown is beautiful, lots of restaurants and places to see and explore the town.

If we were to return, we’d probably stay in Palm Springs proper (likely downtown) as we really enjoyed the restaurants there and it’s closer to Joshua Tree.

Breakfast at 26$ each seemed us a bit too much, maybe better selecting what you eat or not

Highly suggested place to stay in Palm Springs, well positioned and well served by staff. Recommended.

but still close to Palm Springs and all the main Palm Springs atrractions/shops.

The room was had a king bed with a pull out couch for our daughters and had a patio that overlooked the fairway.

It is a Solid, Business snd Wedding and Family Friendly hotel & the rooms are CLEAN the AC works- the second floor views are great- the Spa is private athletic club level -accessible with full services and a great shop for high end products and gym clothes/suits/swim gear- products.

There was a stagnant pond to view from our patio.

They also unblocked the room with a view I requested, put us by the parking lot.

We booked a pool view room on the first floor so that we could walk out to the pool.

We pais so much money on pool side room well you have a bit of view of the pool and you still need to go around couples buildings to get in the pool area.

though no one knew the yoga schedule I enjoyed practice on the balcony of our lake view room.

but very well maintained, clean and in an awesome location with great views and access to everything you need.

The rooms are simply beautiful and the view is incredible.

Some rooms have great views of the mountains and golf course.

Considering the price of lodging here, resort fees, parking fees, that really should be an option for someone that likes their room cleaned everyday.

Needs serious update and deep cleaning as it is an older property.

No cleaning until it's time to close and then everyone is busy cleaning up so they can leave.

We were unable to find any staff to order food by the pool, trash everywhere with no one cleaning up used towels or old food,  we received bad attitude from the staff when requesting additional towels along side inappropriate threats of being charged for towels if we didn’t return them, completely forgotten in-room dining orders that we paid additional delivery fees for.

Biggest frustration: no daily cleaning service!

They only provide housekeeping every four days unless you request more frequency.

Cleanliness at the hydration station down the hall was an issue, and the mid-week housekeeping visit was way too minimal with no new towels, sheets, or vacuuming.

No waste baskets emptied no clean towels or sheets provided..  No one ever came to our room for any cleaning.

also they only do housekeeping every 4th day.

For an unexplained reason they had no housekeeping service.

There were crusty spots on the bathroom floor that a daily mopping would have cleaned.

This despite the closing of restaurants in the resort, no housekeeping for the rooms (rightly because of COVID): perhaps a discount for the loss of amenities would have made the stay somewhat less onerous.

The resort is very COVID wary - no housekeeping service.

My complaint is that housekeeping is only offered every four days.

There is no Housekeeping service due to Covid..it's not even our choice..we were just told there is no housekeeping!

The carpet really needs to go and the beds were just ok. Housekeeping only comes every few days and didn't do a thorough clean so that was strange too.

In addition to the noise issues, the bathroom was so disgustingly  filthy, that we began our stay by calling the cleaning crew to first clean the rims of the toilet (have photos).

It was my daughter's birthday and she selected this hotel for the slides and pool.

The breakfast buffet is yummy and the workout room made my teenagers very happy.

Our one year old really enjoyed the kiddie pools and splash pad.

The water slide allows for 1 adult and 1 child to ride at the same time, so it's perfect for your little ones first time down a slide.

Like the title, the water park was fun and relatively clean (kids tube slide stairs had green mold all throughout the mats

This is a decent hotel/resort to take your family, especially if you have young kids - they will surely enjoy the outdoor pool areas, and particularly the lazy river.

Kids area is pretty well fenced off and lots of staff around, so you can kind of relax and not keep a super close eye on your kids if they know how to swim.

The lazy river was a treat and our toddler enjoyed the little waterslide without big lines.

It was nice that kids could use their own bathroom and shower.

They have two sections of slides for older kids and one for much younger kids, plus the lazy river for all ages which is amazing!

The kids loved the pool and slides, and we loved that they loved it.

We were upgraded to a larger room and able to check in an hour earlier which was nice since I was traveling with my daughter and her 2 and 3 year old.

Some highlights - proximity to multiple kid friendly pools, slides and lazy river.

My wife, daughter (10) and myself stayed 5 days and considering the pros [arm band door keys. variety of salt water(!)

This resort has everything you need for a getaway, whether it is with children or no children, you’re looking at some relaxing/fun time.

Had a great time with the kids, make sure to get closer to the pool if you have kids, some rooms are a trip to get to that pool with kids.

Nice place to visit the kids had fun especially the lazy river.

Our rooms had the pool view - spectacular at night when all the palm trees are lit.

This is by far the best trip we have ever had to the Palm Springs area.

The resort fee was higher than warranted in my opinion

If you feel at all supportive of worker's rights, this is not the place for you. They charge you a surcharge they explain is to "Offset the cost of increase in minimum wage."

For what you pay each night, the service and amenities were not great.

EVERYTHING should be half the price--if you pay anything more, either you are loaded and have low standards, or the other (ALL lower priced) waterslide hotels were sold out.

but beyond that they didn't mention that you should use the hotel website to access it instead of going direct (as resortpass direct will only show Guest Day pass prices which are a lot higher!).

I would have much rather used the money to pay for a trip to Mexico.

Now prices are more expensive they offer nothing or tell us flat out no on any free upgrades

When I requested the rate for the two rooms I needed, they said no, they sold out of those rooms (which were EXACTLY the same rooms).

Rates have been consistently been increasing.

Would I pay over $500 to stay here, probably not.

but, a weekend room is $600/night, add resort fees, taxes and $23 self parking (does not include car wash as you may think) and you get yourself in $1,500.00 for weekend - no food for you.
