 - The palm trees around property were lovely to look at, and created a fun environment, and I also really enjoyed the froze at the Pool, highly recommend!
 - We normally take family trips to the Palm Springs area a few times during the summer so the kids can enjoy pool time and decided to try out this Omni since there was a water park.
 - We have been to Palm Springs plenty of times,
 - But this place, with its marvelous spanish architecture, beautiful pool area, excellent fitness room, spacious accommodations, as well as good access to the Palm Springs area, is worth a stay.
 - Nearby Palm Dessert & Palm Springs are an easy, short drive.

 - In addition to the noise issues, the bathroom was so disgustingly filthy, that we began our stay by calling the cleaning crew to first clean the rims of the toilet (have photos).
 - Considering you were fairly isolated at this location it was disappointing to have limited food options and no room service or housekeeping.
 - Unfortunately, the backyard of our Villa was in need of a better cleaning, and our spa was not operating properly (it wouldn't heat and the jets didn't work).

 - The rooftop pool has amazing views.
 - Good gym and nice rooftop pool!
 - The standout feature of the hotel for us was definitely the rooftop pool and bar.
 - And the pool on the rooftop is mediocre at best.
 - I loved how Juniper Table was conveniently located inside the hotel for brunch, coffee and drinks and the pool and rooftop lounge was an awesome spot to hangout with friends.

 - but unsuccessful, again, with the card key.
 - Then there's the fact that we're being charged this ridiculous resort fee in the middle of covid! Seriously?
 - We ended up checking out early to move over to the Ritz Carlton so we could lay by the pool and I will say the Kimpton didn’t push back on not charging us for the unused night so that was good.
 - tiny bathroom with a band door, uncomfortable chair, few charging stations, small, fridge that didn't work.
 - This type of charges happened the last time at Kimpton Seattle.

 - Area really easy to navigate the whole Palm Springs area.
 - The Welk property in Palm Springs is an excellent facility in all respects.
 - Lastly, the location is phenomenal - only 10ish minutes to the airport, downtown Palm Springs, and only a couple minutes from major retail and restaurants.
 - Good location for seeing Palm Springs area.
 - We loved Palm Springs, the resort grounds, pool, etc.

 - We were given a laminated copy 8 pages long and told that the basic rules were no smoking and no pets.
 - We threw away everything that was not sealed when a cockroach was found in the trash/food cabinet. Disgusting.
 - I'm sorry I do t want my kids to be smelling those fumes, really!!
 - It caused the water to fill up without drainage.
 - The place is dated and musty

 - But, the game room, arts and crafts We're a delight The pirate themed safe house was terrific!!!
 - Also, a few more organized activities either free or low cost would be nice.
 - Judging by the activity outside, it seems at least one building was being refurbished.
 - We especially loved the short hair lady that worked in the game room.
 - On site activities include things for the whole family.

 - My son caught it and put it in the ziplock.
 - Quiet at night and perfect for a family and kid friendly.
 - My wife enjoyed the picture painting and our son loved the build-your-own stuffed animal activity.
 - There are two pools, one for adults and one for kids which is great.
 - If you have kids, this place is wonderful.

 - Only complaints are the elevator in the building didn’t work and chairs in the deck were in poor repair.
 - No real elevator in the buildings, just a limited handicap lift in the buildings, which is okay for luggage,
 - Advertising elevators, there's none.only a handicap lift that it's noted to only to be used by handicap.
 - but no real elevator, just a wheelchair/handicap lift clearly marked for that use only.
 - There wasn’t an elevator to the 2nd floor so we had to carry our luggage and cooler up, which was not an issue for us
