 - Enjoyed a spacious 1 bedroom with full kitchen, which was clean with comfortable bed.
 - The rooms at this facility are large with separate living room and full kitchen combination plus separate bedroom and bath.

 - My son caught it and put it in the ziplock.
 - Quiet at night and perfect for a family and kid friendly.
 - My wife enjoyed the picture painting and our son loved the build-your-own stuffed animal activity.
 - There are two pools, one for adults and one for kids which is great.
 - If you have kids, this place is wonderful.

 - We were given a laminated copy 8 pages long and told that the basic rules were no smoking and no pets.
 - We threw away everything that was not sealed when a cockroach was found in the trash/food cabinet. Disgusting.
 - I'm sorry I do t want my kids to be smelling those fumes, really!!
 - It caused the water to fill up without drainage.
 - The place is dated and musty

 - The resort is close to many other attractions including Joshua Tree National Park.
 - We also had an easy trip to Joshua Tree National Park so there’s plenty to do in the area.
 - We visited Lake Arrowhead, Los Angeles and Santa Monica (the Pier), Joshua Tree National Park, the Salton Sea, Frank Sinatra and Sonny Bono's graves, and even stood on the San Andreas Fault (we walked softly, didn't want to stir up an earthquake).
 - We made the best of it, visiting the San Jacinto tram, Laguna beach & Joshua tree national park which were much cooler.

 - Only complaints are the elevator in the building didn’t work and chairs in the deck were in poor repair.
 - No real elevator in the buildings, just a limited handicap lift in the buildings, which is okay for luggage,
 - Advertising elevators, there's none.only a handicap lift that it's noted to only to be used by handicap.
 - but no real elevator, just a wheelchair/handicap lift clearly marked for that use only.
 - There wasn’t an elevator to the 2nd floor so we had to carry our luggage and cooler up, which was not an issue for us

 - But, the game room, arts and crafts We're a delight The pirate themed safe house was terrific!!!
 - Also, a few more organized activities either free or low cost would be nice.
 - Judging by the activity outside, it seems at least one building was being refurbished.
 - We especially loved the short hair lady that worked in the game room.
 - On site activities include things for the whole family.

 - It is a REALLY nice feature that you don't have a bunch of bratty screaming kids running around the place.
 - My girl and I just enjoyed a perfect couples weekend here at Hotel California and Desert Riviera Hotel.
 - The place has all the perks - 24 hour pool and jacuzzi, free bikes, free golf clubs, a full kitchen, free movies, free WiFi, no kids, and no crowds.

 - I had to sleep on my side facing the other direction.
 - The room air conditioner was positioned directly over the head of the bed and was extremely loud, making sleep difficult.

 - The first one being the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking; regardless, I didn't lose any sleep because of it, and secondly, there wasn't a hair dryer in the bathroom.

 - but it also shined in our window, which was next to the bed.
 - The negative is I had to keep my curtain closed because I didn't want swimmers to look into our room.
 - Because of this, we had to keep the curtains closed as our bedroom was clearly visible from the office and walkway.
 - As a result, we were awakened extremely early each morning by sunlight entering through the blinds.

 - Only negative was the road noise from Palm Canyon drive, which is busy.
 - Also, while other rooms may have street noise, ours most certainly did not.
 - It's a bit more private and doesn't face any roads for super quiet sleep (You can hear road noise in many other hotels in PS).
 - Although on a busy road (on the same side as our room) we weren't bothered by road or any other noise and the pool area was divine!
 - but is on a main drag, so for some there might be mild bothersome street noise, but just bring earplugs if that is an issue for you.

 - Loved coming in to the radio playing in the room to old tunes, it was like walking into an old friends home.
 - They were playing great music.
 - From the music, to the rooms, to the aesthetic, every detail counts and makes it a better experience.
 - Such a wonderful place to swim, drink and listen to cool tunes whilst taking in the Rocky Mountain vista.

 - We visited Thanksgiving weekend and found that the experience was not worth the price of $350/night + resort fees.
 - All that they would have been missing was the outrageous price and the thong-clad girls by the pool thinking this place was cool when in reality it was a stinky pig with lipstick on.
