I very much enjoyed chatting with the owner who stopped by during breakfast!

We enjoyed the delicious breakfast served on beautiful china in the atrium looking at lovely gardens.

One eats breakfast in the solarium and looks out to lawn, lush beds of dahlias, roses, cannas, begonias and other flowers all in their zenith of bloom.

Wonderful accommodating team and a wonderful breakfast.

Especially breakfast, best food I've had in a long time.

Make sure to order the pancakes for breakfast.

The grounds are exquisite, the breakfast divine and all about there was peace and quiet.

The breakfast that comes with your stay, is delicious and our teens had fun getting to make their own specific choices for breakfast, when we checked in.

The manager upgraded our room at no additional charge, and gave us discount vouchers for Tark's Grill; the same restaurant we ate the night before our wedding!

however mind that no ownership was taken on managements behalf, you just don't inconvenience people the day before their wedding with no REAL reasoning other than your place of business didn't have the resources available.

I did bring this to the attention of management and they said they would improve this in the future.

We ended up speaking with the manager the next day and worked something out as far as payments go.

I have never, ever spoken to a business manager who is so rude, condescending, and unprofessional as Cristin Kline.

The manager was very cold and not compassionate to our situation.

IN FACT, THE PERSON THAT I DEALT WITH,  CRISTIN KLINE, HAS TO BE ONE OF THE WORST MANAGER'S AROUND.

The manager, Cristin, sent us a letter indicating that they were giving us an extra hour for our reception, and when I confirmed the time, she said that I was trying to be dishonest and steal an hour and refused to honor the HARD COPY of the letter with her signature indicating an extra hour.

There were some obvious internal communication problems with the staff and the owners were not very "hands on" with management and reservations.

When I addressed the broken heating at check out, no apology was offered and the receptionist indicated that she would inform the manager when he arrived.

I called ahead of time to let management kniow we would be arriving late.

I only would ask the the linens be washed without a scent.

Pool was filthy dirty and not even open and needed attention as much as the grounds.

The inn has a very musty odor and has odd artifacts scattered throughout.

We found at least 8 stink bugs in the room.

The room smelled like roses, the balcony and view were stunning, the bed was captivating, the shower was intriguing, whirlpool tub was OUT OF THIS WORLD and the breakfast was fresh and delicious!

LOL   It is an older building, and that shows in a few spots on the moulding, etc.

but quickly realized there was an old filter with coffee from the last room occupant in there. Disgusting.

Depsite what other people think about stink bugs, whether others feel they are harmless or not.

But smelled like..burnt moth balls and air freshener.

Both our bedroom and bathroom were uncomfortably filthy.

Our room was dirty and not well kept -Cobwebs in corners, filthy rug, cracked tiles, etc.

The big rug they had in there was also stained all over the place as well, and looked quite disgusting.

Bring camera, no smoking, charming atmosphere.

The food -- bacon burned to a crisp, french toast doused in cinnamon, an omlette with chewy, undercooked shiitake mushrooms, and strawberries that tasted like onions.

Overall I would definitely recommend because of location, wonderful staff, and free delicious breakfast.

We paid $179 for this hellish night and were given a $100 gift card for compensation in my eyes that was not nearly enough.

I had a problem witj my billing and bank .

When the woman at the desk eventually appeared she took my credit card and said she had to contact housekeeping to find out if the room was ready.

1) The "view out the window was the garbage bins with a toilet for a bonus and 2) There were no usb ports to charge a phone.

however it does not have a lounge area as other hotels in the area for the price the pool was okay kept experience problems with the key card and breakfast quality could be a lot better.

The only disappointment was they charged for Internet.

When it was billed as "unassuming lodging", I feared we may regret staying there while attending a family wedding nearby.

When I made reservations I gave them my credit card number for holding instead they charged the whole stay right away and refused to refund for the one day.

Because of the awful beds and lack of sleep, I would highly recommend that you stay away from this hotel, especially for the price that they are charging.

Initially I was a little peeved with Hampton Inn because they wouldn't immediately charge my credit card when I booked the hotel in February.

Was not pleased, name was pronounced Erica when it clearly reads Eric on my billing info.

I received a reminder of my reservations about two weeks prior to our planned visit and I was glad because one of our group had canceled and I wanted to cancel that reservation so I wouldn't be charged for it.

Congrats to hotel to put USB charging outlets by the beds.

but wanted to charge me the same fee and offered nothing for the inconvenience of selling my room to someone else.

Of course, they won't tell you about this charge and it will not appear on your receipt at check-out.

Just make sure you know that charges for incidentals will be held up if you pay with a debit card.

Also they have a policy in which they hold an extra $160.00 ( in our case it was taken from our debit therefore the money was cashed) for any incidentals that you may Incur.

The couch was falling apart and was so filthy that I wouldn’t touch it, let alone sit on it.

My only complaint were some long hairs that I noticed on the inside of the shower curtain which kind of grossed me out and caused me to cut my shower short. Ewww.

Lobby is from circa 2007 {It is currently 2017}.This is a stale smelling hotel that needs a total redo asap.

My daughter was on the 3rd floor, and their room had the marijuana smell seeping in from somewhere.

The bagels were incredibly stale, the bananas both mornings looked like they would be perfect to make a banana bread (very brown) and there were no berries for yogurt or cereal toppings.

A guest was smoking in their room on our floor, just across the hall, not only the first night ,

but nothing was done to find out who was smoking in their room.

Beds are very hard, my toilet was dirty and I had no tv remote to watch tv.

There was a domestic dispute that spilled into the hallway from one room, and also the room next to us blasted the TV and let their child yell and run up and down the hallway periodically.

but our tv continually froze looking for a signal.

The hotel was REAL nice as well as the front desk people, the breakfast was exceptional the only problem was the lady working the breakfast area was VERY RUDE it looked as if she hates her job when I got down to the area she was sitting with the guest watching tv.

only downside is that the room tv's are a bit on the small side.

Our only complaint was that we couldn't get the Yankee ball game on TV.

The TV is too small considering the distance from the bed.

Looking for Hbo ,or maybe the Disney Channel for the kids ?

Only complaint - Not many channels on tv - only local channels.

The TV required no electronic engineering to activate and operate.

The only negative was television reception.

However, I did not get any sleep because the blanket had a strong bleach odor, the air conditioning was not working and the tv volume was not able to be adjusted.

AC barely worked and it made the room smell musty.

but the TV remote didn’t work and neither did the AC unit in the room.

Bed bugs, mold in AC unit, broken door latch & broken mini fridge.

The only concerns we had were the cobwebs near the HVAC unit and the fact that the toilet was way too low and close to the floor.

I got up in the middle of the night to turn off the A/C and it kept running. 5th.

The heater was loud and the carpets were dirty.

We slept with a towel over the heating system.

HVAC not working, Shower head seemed never cleaned.

Room was humid and semi-cool, a/c sucked.

The air conditioner unit was very loud which made following asleep slightly difficult….over time the sound became white noise,

My only 2 issues were in my first room the heater made an odd sound, staff switched my room and there were no issues.

AC / heater like Quality Inn too, no wall thermostat just big unit under window.

The air from the A/C at least needs to deflected up and not over the bed.

The air conditioning did not work well so it was a restless sleep.

The staff was extremely courteous, the room was very large and clean, and the complimentary breakfast a plus.

It was quiet, cool, clean and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

Breakfast was similar to that which received in field/emergency circumstances.

Well placed location close to Owings Mills shopping centre and restaurants, with good hotel amenities including free breakfast, gym, pool and free parking.

It had a pool for kids to play and they serve breakfast every morning which was really good.

I went for a tournament and the service and breakfast were great.

We went for breakfast and by 9:45 most of the food was gone.

I loved the hotel stay, the pool, the staff, the breakfast, the location and cleanliness.

Breakfast was served between 7-10 a.m. and it was good.

Breakfast was extremely nice for a free hotel offering - eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, cereals, pastries, toast, oatmeal, yogurt.

My grandkids really enjoyed the breakfast and their stay especially the pool area and wished that you all served dinner as well.

1st he stated nothing was wrong till I said there is a strong mildew smell.

The room was disappointing, even before the air conditioner stopped working.

Just before we left to the rehearsal dinner a maintenance man came to fix the AC,

The air conditioning in the room did not work well.

The only complaint we had was the air conditioner was quite loud and woke us up when it kicked on.

Heater sound for that small room is very much disturbing and not able to get sleep and need to be warm in cold winter night.

however we have had some problems with the executive board room HVAC unit not working the last two times.

The   heater in my room was very noisy and I couldn't use my gift cards when booking room on line.

The bathroom was small and didn't have a vent so it made the room quite hot and stuffy also.

Secondly, the room had a strange odor that forced us to turn off the a/c and open the patio door.

There was only one switch over the sink area which also turned on the light and fan in the toilet/shower area, which was very annoying.

Room had an "old hotel" smell like fried food and mustiness, turning up the ac helped some.

Completely outdated hotel and scattered AC makes it undesirable to ever come in the summer.

The air conditioning unit was VERY outdated and loud; it also kicked on and off every few minutes keeping us up at night.

The resort itself is old and outdated - beds are hard and noisy and the A/C unit sounds like a jet turbine engine.

Very very disappointed to the response to my concerns for having a very noisy heater in my room on the third floor.

The restaurant has delicious food and awesome seating.

The views are fantastic, the restaurant was very good for breakfast, only meal I had there.

Most mornings, I escaped to the balcony overlooking the golf course for breakfast.

The pool area is large with a great pool bar and cafe, and was great for getting our family of 35 together to enjoy the afternoon. Our evening event in Nicole's and Maria's rooms was so great, the food delicious (esp the smoked brisket!)

Down one flight of stairs, the restaurant opens out to an outdoor patio, which is a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast on a sunny morning -- or lunch or dinner if one is staying over.

The food from Alexandra's was delicious and we were able to order through room service when we arrived at 8:00pm.

The carpet is old and should be replaced with vinyl.

Worn looking carpet, peeling wallpaper, scuffed furniture and not nearly enough outlets to charge portable electronics makes this resort appear shabby and outdated.

Many things are a bit worn generally and need updating, from the hall carpet, to the screens (with holes) on the patio doors.

Our room had stains in the carpet and furniture.

The hotel is somewhat rundown and needs some simple cosmetic repairs - like paint and carpet.

The outdated dark green wall paper with the dark cabinets and dark carpet mad it feel like a sad apartment.

It was built in the late 1980s and some aspects could use an update, such as curtains, bed spreads, carpets, etc.
