Our family had a wonderful vacation at Vacation Village, excellent location, close to all attractions, shopping and restaurants.

The employees was very nice and everything you needed such as shopping, eating and attractions was close by including Disney World was 5 miles away.

The resort is located close to many attractions and restaurants.

The property is also very close to all the many attractions on the south side of Orlando, so if you want to explore Disney or Old Town the location is perfect.

It is also close to many other attractions such as Disney Springs, Gatorland, Old Town, helicopter rides, Machine Gun America & many others, as well as restaurants of every type.We particularly enjoyed the Twistee Treat ice cream shop located right at the entrance to the resort.

Overall it was a great location for the attractions we hoped for.

Vacation Village at Parkway is a wonderful resort - friendly and professional staff; rooms are clean, large, and well-appointed; pools, walking trails and activities are nice; and it's location is close to many attractions in the Kissimmee/Orlando area.

Pros: 15 min drive to Disney World and other parks, large and lovely pool area, quiet floors, large clean suite (ask for a room facing the pool, building 20 has 24 hour security with registration in that building).

The public areas and unit was very clean and the upkeep of the grounds excellent.

They have beautiful pools that are well-maintained, easy check in and out, close to plenty of activities, including Old Town .

It is in a great location close to Disney World with a commute of only 10 to 15 minutes when you have a rental car.

Don't go here thinking you are close to Disney and have a free shuttle, daily.

The fact that we are not too far away from groceries, salons, liquor store is great.

There was a shuttle available to go to the grocery store if you needed it and transportation to the theme parks so you could come here without a car.

Negatives include a $50.00 resort fee per week to use the pools, gyms etc, No mid-week cleaning servicers and it is hard to communicate with much of the staff.

The good: available, low point exchange, super clean, nice cleaning staff, location is great for us, easy access to Disney, grocery stores, shopping.

.I wish the shuttle to & from grocery store & amusement parks ran more than once a day.

We loved the convenience of the restaurants, stores and groceries in walking distance to the resort.

One of the times , I had a cart full of groceries.

Plenty of stores are very near (grocery, drug, food).

This place was in a great location in terms of proximity to groceries, shopping, restaurants and amusement parks.

They are not conveniently located  and the area isn't very big if you plan to cook and eat at the location.

Convenient Location for all theme parks and Orlando Attractions.

I liked Vacation Village at Parkway number 1 because of location.

Great location as well, only minutes from Disney.

The hotel has a good location, the units are a good size and very comfortable to enjoy a good vacation.

Love the size of the rooms and the convenient location.

It is located near major roads and close to Disney, Universal, Old Town, Fun Spot, Universal, Flea Markets, Celebration and restaurants.

i had forgotten to call and make a request, so at check in they were able to change us up and put us at a better location for a toddler.

But they do provide you with one laundry detergent pkt & dishwasher powder; & they still have free local phone calls.

At 2:30am, a service man responded to our call and came to our rescue to show us how to operate the TV.

Be sure to call a week before your reservation and ask for a pool or nature view in a newer building.

The original room was very run down and the telephone or the ac was working.

I tried calling the front desk to ask them

I guess when you have a guest complaining about services, the answer according to Vacation Village at Parkway is to not answre the phone rather than to resolve the problem.

Visitors will need to either walk or call the desk for a shuttle to travel between them.

Today, it took several hours and 3 phone calls to get laundry detergent to wash our clothes before we begin packing to keave tomorrow.

It was just a call away to get more blankets and towels.

Had to call 3 times to get a pool attendant so we could sign out the horse shoes and corn hole bags to play the outdoor games.

Before that it took 5 attempts to get someone on the phone for me to ask about the pool weather policy.

I tried to call the front desk several times.

So I called the front desk which took a damn min for them to answer the phone.

Has declined over the years takes several calls to get house keeping or maintenance to come.

The tub had a black ring around and the moved me to a room with a filthy shower

In fact, EVERYONE that we passed from housekeeping, was ALWAYS on the phone and had no time to greet you.

The employees at the front desk that answer the phone (when they do) are not very friendly I needed to stay an extra night and the manager on june 10th made it for R$179, for that price i decided to move to a 4 star hotel with wonderful pool and better employees.

That call to RCI did get someone to clean the floor and a promise to do a full cleaning the next day.

After calling the next morning, someone came to clean the areas (which shouldn't have been necessary) and then we discovered we weren't eligible for housekeeping because we hadn't been there longer than 7 days,

Our grandkids had a great time in the pool and on the splashpad.

Nice walking paths, great pool and jacuzzi.

The pool and spa tub were definitely used this trip, and we stayed in one of the newer units and the room was very nice.

You can grab lunch right at the pool he is at.

Kids enjoyed all the amenities including basketball court, pool, etc.

We had 1st floor suites that were requested since we had 4 young children with us and it was easy to access the pool.

The complex is quite spacious with green areas and swimming pools for the enjoyment of sunny days.

Our towels had stains on them and had an odor so we had to do a complete towel swap.

Our room smelled like very dirty mop water, items in the washing machine, 1/2 toilets not cleaned after last use, slow to no response after speaking with front desk.

We had a 2 bedroom suite which essentially was two separate 1 bedroom suites …upon arrival the one suite smelled of old cigarettes and the other suite smelled of mold … the rooms definitely need an update … and don’t expect shampoo,conditioner or body wash … you get 2 mini bars of soap that is it !

The hot tub was gross, along with debris and dead bugs.

However the main unit smelled like old standing water and we couldn’t find the source.

Upon entering the building, all you smelled was lots of foods, and like a dirty mop water..

We smelled a neighbor smoking weed, cihildren running & screaming upstairs & downstairs from us.

Vacation village at parkway had 4 security guards kick me and my family out after a complaint about mold.

Don’t go … 
Smells marijuana all the time (7 days stay 7 days shrunk place).

The units were good with the exception of the floors being dirty and one of the A units and C units having an unknown odor in them.

Was disappointed when asked to help us resolve an issue with a smoker below us.

We called and asked for at least 2 boxes (in this heat, your clothes get stinky and sweaty when out all day in the heat).

Halway had trash and food boxes smelled like. Zoo

Had to pay $45 housekeeping fee and yet our room was GROSS when we got there.

There were fruit flies all over which was disgusting.

The patio table and chairs were filthy, looks to never been cleaned.

The smells on the sixth floor of build 20 were gross and none of the staff seemed to care.

It didn’t drain well, so that became more of an issue as the week progressed.

We asked to be switched to poolside and they accommodated us right away which was very helpful.

Treated with professionalism and respect.

The staff is wonderful and i will definitely stay here again very soon.

When you take the time to ask and the answer is that all appartement are assigned before well BS!

We are VIP wyndham owners and have owned RCI for 13 years and this was easily the dirtiest room we have ever been in.

Check in was very easy and everyone very helpful.

Everyone on the staff was nice and friendly.

Our first impression did not change with a fast and courteous check-in.

Here we spoke with a very nice fellow who was knowledgeable, informative, and engaging.

The property is located close to the theme parks with shuttle services available at 7am (could have been a little later).

The resort has great pools and is very close to all of the theme parks which is a huge plus.

I’m assuming that some of the apartments at the resort are really nice as the website looks really good ; unfortunately our apartment was not !

Lovely big apartment, clean well maintained site, excellent facilities in the apartment, comfy beds lovely balcony.

Such a spacious apartment with loads of space (especially when sharing with extended family).

In the brochure these condos are advertised as 4 star, the pictures shown are of a more modern style unit and thats what we were expecting.…

Condo location is great , close to the airport , Disney attractions and Andretti World and grounds are well maintained.

We stayed in two condos at Vista Cay  - the second was an upgrade,

Condo was clean and easily accessible, Publix and Walgreens were close by which was convenient for evening runs .

My wife and I booked the resort for the second part of our holiday as we felt having a apartment would give us more space, this was true,  the apartment we got was in the recently refurbished part of the resort and so we were pretty excited.

We loved the condo at Vista Cay Resort!!!!!

Our accommodation is large (3 bed apartment) and in a great location as only a short walk to the pool.

Booked through TUI in UK and Condo managed by Vista Cay by Millenium.

We have just returned from Orlando, we stayed on Vista Cay again, excellent stay, yes the apartments are a little bit dated.

All the newer apartments kept for Americans,
Or told if you book direct with the hotel and not a third party.

We flew with TUI from Manchester for a 2 week stay in a premium 3 bedroom executive apartment, wonderful greeting at desk upon arrival and very welcoming.

We stayed in a 2 bed deluxe apartment on the Publix side.

We were in a 3 bedroomed deluxe apartment (107 / 5036 Shoreway Loop) which was a lovely property albeit not absolutely perfect.

We had a 3 Bedroom Deluxe apartment on the 3rd floor, building was near reception.

We rented a three bedroom condo for a week.

We stayed in a three bedroom condo and it was very spacious overlooking the lake.

We hired a 2 bedroom condo for 2 couples for a week while we were at the theme parks.

3 bedroom condo was spacious with good layout, ample free parking, nice pool area with kids pool and secure with locked gates.

I booked with Thomas Cook, a deluxe apartment with a king bed, queen bed and a twin room.

Stayed in lakeview 3 bedroom apartment for 1 week as a family.

I think the three bedroom condo is bigger than our first house!

We had 3 bedroom condo which was spotless when we arrived.

Back to reception again where we suggested looking at a 3 bedroom condo.

The 3 bedroom condo was fantastic and was a perfect fit for 6 adults.

We stayed in a top floor 3 bedroom condo which had a lovely balcony with views to the front of the complex.

Three families went together on vacation and the Majestic Retreat accommodated us with the three bedroom and condo.

Stayed in a gorgeous three bedroom apartment.

Our 3 bedroom condo was on the fourth floor and had a lake view.

We staid there in a 2 bedroom apartment booked via booking.com.

I thought the location was perfect, close to most attractions, the pool was never overly busy & the food good.

Close to all attractions and not far from the airport.

All the local attractions are in close proximity.

Clean, comfortable, private, near attractions, dining, shopping.

Also, close to attractions, dining and entertainment.

It was a good location, close to so many attractions.

I should note it was located near all the attractions as well and felt like a good area to be if your coming for the Universal/Disney experience.

If you have a car, this resort is near several attractions, such as Andrettis and ICON Orlando.

Close to the tournament, close to attractions and convenient to everything.

And vista cay is close to all the attractions that we went to we will be back next year

Perfect condo in perfect location for all the attractions.

The location is excellent for having a grocery store within walking distance and close to all the different attractions in Orlando.

Close to most attractions and next to universal Dr.

but also close enough to all the attractions in Orlando.

The resort is so close to all the attractions that Orlando has to offer.
