My husband and I have stayed at both properties in Savannah, Asheville and now the Castle Hotel in  Orlando.

I have stayed at the Autograph Collection Hotels in St. Augustine, Florida; Asheville, North Carolina; and Savannah, Georgia and each of these convinced me that boutique hotels were the way to go.

This was very inconvenient and took that money out of my funds.

Then the hotel has the audacity to charge you 25 dollars per night just to park your car.

And we were warned that, because it was an international charge, it would take up to 3 weeks for the credit to appear on the Visa account, despite the charge only taking 15 minutes.

They also charge $25 a night (per their website)  to park your car which I think is absurd.

Upon arriving, we were charged $27 for parking (nothing special - an asphalt lot) before we even got to our room.

Second  they charge $20 a night to park in the normal surface lot outside.

The $20 charge for self-parking right outside the door is absurd.

They could just fill the mini bar in the room and charge the guest .

Like when you arrive from abroad and none of your credit cards work on Check-in and your phone won’t work so you can’t fix that issue.

but when we went to check in at the other hotel we realized there were many hidden fees and charges and when I  mentioned that they were unapologetic and somewhat rude.

They told us it was a pleasure and they would not charge us the extra night stay!!

When we came back there were balloons, chocolate and a card.

Whether it was helping me change rooms, replacing my key card (twice), bringing an extra blanket, tracking down a shower gel, or keeping the kitchen open so I could order dinner,  the staff was consistently willing to help.

Then you’re charge $20 a day for parking and good luck trying to find a spot.

They charged me $16 per night for parking

but instead charge me 2 dollars for a bottle!

Normally, we should not have been charged for the stay or at least part of it, or something else should have been done to make this stay at least a little better.

We were walking distance to International Drive which is full of things to do!

Surprisingly more "urban professional" than one would expect  on or near The International Drive/Disney location.

Location wise this hotel is where you would want to be on International Drive and is in close proximity to most of the main attractions.

The location is very good near a lot of Bars and Restaurants on International drive close (1 mile) to the Convention Center
 
I booked the room months in advance, the website would not allow me to select a King bed, it stated King or two Queens.

There are bars and restaurants at the hotel and it is within walking distance of all that International Drive has to offer.

I stayed there on 12/28/16 for one night to be close to International Dr.

Right on international drive within walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Centrally located on International Drive and close to some excellent restaurants!

I would stay here if I need to be near International Drive or if going to Universal.

Close to International drive hustle and bustle.

The location near International Drive is great.

It is located off International drive and is close to Universal Studios and Sea World.

Just as a side note, you are walking distance to International Drive and the Orlando Eye, which I recommend.

It is very well located on International Drive walking distance to Senor Frogs, Howl at the Moon, the Orlando Eye, Wax Museum and Sea Aquarium.

Certainly close to International Drive and restaurants,etc.

Good things about this hotel:

•	Nice attentive staff
•	Room was relatively clean
•	Distance from Universal (about 11 minutes driving)
•	Near International drive where you can find a lot of restaurants 
•	Wifi is somewhat free since it’s offered freely in the Lobby and it can still be accessed from the room (stayed at the 4th level)

General things about this hotel that are okay (Not too bad … just FYI if you’re a person with high expectations):

•	Room, bathroom and TV size are okay (not great)
•	The bed was okay

This time we decided to stay near International Drive and loved it.

It's on International Drive in walking distance to a slew of restaurants and attractions.

The decor in the lobby and our room was stunning.

The fake castle charm in the lobby is very kitschy; room was ok, the sink in the bathroom felt low , lower than average.

Upon our stay, we were very impressed with the ambience of the lobby.

The architecture and lobby greets you with a level of elegance that is simply amazing.

This castle-like hotel seems to have been renovated recently has an elegant lobby decorated with art-deco pieces, bright colors, and glass.

It’s very luxurious all the way from the pool area, to the rooms, to the exterior and lobby areas.

The decor in the lobby, restaurants/bar and the rooms is very cool and awesome.

The Castel-Marriot at the Orlando, Florida has wonderful  lobby decoration and  an extremely astonishing design like a castle.

The lobby is trendy with unique furniture and accessories.

The decor inside the lobby is a mix of purple, antlers, harlequin mask chairs, crystal and antler chandeliers.

From the lights and appearance outside to the lobby decorated with attention to detail to the rooms and hotel grounds.

I liked the lobby decor, especially the fun mask chairs.

The lobby decor continues in the hallways and rooms, with antler light fixtures, mirrors with 'jewels'.

Anyways, on a positive end note, the decoration in the lobby is beautiful. .

I have stayed at just about every hotel near the Orange County Convention Center over the years &  they are all big, boring impersonal boxes.

I want to say thanks to the the staff of the the castle hotel, I just was there for a week of conference at Orange County Convention Center and the attention was incredible.

but other than that, I will definitely visit again.

Recommend for anyone wanting a visit to Orlando.

I look forward to visiting this hotel again and hopefully he is front and center at the desk!

The friendly staff gave us fun facts, and interesting restaurants, and places to visit.

There are so many delicious restaurants to visit all eithin walking distance as well and we love the opportunity to wander about at night and let the kids see the shops and pick a restaurant.

The hotel itself is immaculate you can constantly see cleaning going on, it's the most gorgeous hotel I've visited really magical.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Orlando that wants to be in the middle of the I-Drive action.

After experiencing a CI&S in Asheville, I was surprised that the Orlando hotel was as rundown as it was.

There was a crack in the bathtub so that spot would sink in a bit when I stepped there.

Toilet was running our entire stay and would not flush.

Dirty carpet  in the halls, dirt in the elevator, a broken toilet seat, and a message light continually on  on the telephone didn't make for a pleasant stay.

But the first room we got, it was vomit on the bed and one of the walls, we changed room to a leaking bath tub, so the entire bathroom and the carpet in the next room would fill up.

Showers had no pressure and took a long time to get hot water.

but bathtub faucet was dripping and dripping and dripping.

After the above it might seem foolish to comment on the amenities, and that's because it is.

Furniture was chipped, bathroom was dirty, very very outdated with an a/c unit that was not a central a/c which I thought was weird.

Smells like my Uncle’s flooded basement in Jersey.

- Hair dyer is full or rust and not working.

This place had mold, the shower curtain was ripped, and there were stains on the floor both tile and carpet.

The sink's drain hole at the top was disgusting, while looking in the mirror the reflection from the hole was utterly despicable.

Here’s why: stained carpets and window treatments; dingy bed linens and towels of poor quality; dirty doors; awful beds; inoperable WiFi; roaches and remnants of roaches; leaky faucets; and overall unclean.

Don’t look too closely at the bathroom or the baseboards or the wooden furniture in the room.

clean it up and get a breakfast you can eat dirty carpet, bathroom fixtures didn't work.

Smelled, couldnt shower because of clog and water was cold.

There was no ventilation in the bathroom, which made the humidity even higher.

The shower curtain loops were shredded and some magnets on the bottom missing.

but in the meantime I would suggest you spend a little more money and stay elsewhere 

Filthy carpets, hallways to rooms very tired.

That was very off putting and then I saw a large brown stain on the carpet in front of the bed.

We didn’t take our shoes or even our socks off because the carpets contained those unknown stains and drawers had unknown stain in them as well.

Carpets were red stained, mildew smell in room and corridor.

Old carpet in hall way.. kids from employees that lived there.. were running around and unsupervised in the exercise room.

Carpet stains, damp smelling room, No one says anything about the guests Smoking weed every where.

The carpet in the hallways is so filthy dirty and stained, I didn't  even have the free breakfast they include with the reservation.

Carpets have wet spots all over the building, in the reception, hallways, and the room, breakfast area as well, and it smells of pot.

The carpets in the rooms hall is stained and smell to pee.

The bathroom floor had stuff on the floor that connected to the carpet, mold near tub, and not sure if bugs or trash on the tile/carpet area, as I was afraid to look closer.

however the carpet on 5th floor was old and dirty.

Hallway carpets looked discolored- both stained and bleached.

Mold in bathroom, stained carpet throughout, poor desk service, falsely advertised breakfast, security lights shine in hotel rooms, worst linens ever.Staff negligence and sarcasm optional.

Services by counter personell was very well and courteous.

Easy check-in, counter service just ok. Can't comment on the free breakfast as I didn't try it.

Despite the cigarette burn on the counter, it was clean and roomy.

The guy behind the counter offered to take care of our luggage until our room was ready.

The gentleman behind the counter was nice.

The counter in the lobby where you can get attraction info, brochures and coupons is very practical.

The rooms were clean, simple coffee maker on the bathroom counter.

The Country Inn & Suites was perfectly located and was a very fair price!!

The price was probably fair for what you're getting.

I was attracted to a fair price and promise of breakfast (my favorite meal of the day).

Hotel did not have hot breakfast available while we stayed there.

that also offer a similar hot breakfast that is a much better quality.

The breakfast was nowhere near the kind of “hot breakfast” advertised on the hotel web site.

We got a great price for the room, it was clean, service was good the hot breakfast was okay, I say okay because they had waffle irons out

Overall the accommodations were satisfactory and it was nice waking up early to a free hot breakfast and heading to Disney before it opened.

They provide a nice hot breakfast with a large dining area.

The best part was the buffet breakfast in the morning Hot and yummy.

Pretty hard to make a sandwich to go with hard boiled eggs

They do offer a nice buffet breakfast with hot breakfast items, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and more - it's a really nice spread and tasty.

I know that for my stay i had a great time i stayed on the second floor room ac was nice and cool breakfast was ok hot steamy shower pool couldve been warm super cold

The Carlson was different, the eggs were hot, and all the various items were excellent.

The Menu consisted of several day old re-warmed Hard Boiled Eggs, sausage links with some interesting colors, mystery meat (I'll guess ground Chorizo), stale tortillas, rock hard pancakes, and some old cut-up fruit.

Breakfast included hot biscuits, pulled pork, hard boiled eggs and sausage links besides the usual continental offerings.

The room was bright and clean - the selection was breads, pastries, cereal, hard boiled eggs only, waffles and sausage links, fruit and yogurt.

Excellent hot breakfast served daily with variety of eggs, sausage, oatmeal, biscuit and gravy ect.

I check into my room and the first thing I notice is a strong mold odor.

We were told we could change rooms again, and they would make sure we didn't get the one with vomit again. .

but it was very strong to the point it made me sick and it smelled that way until the next morning.

Absolutely filthy, stained carpeting and musty smelling  rooms.

Others are brown and yellow, and when coupled with the stink of human misery, I can only assume they come from the loss of someone's dignity.

But-my room smelled funky—perhaps marijuana mixed with uric acid?

but now he is dead and the smell remains.

The smell of the room was strong and smelt musty.

On top of that the smell of marijuana was every where and seeped into my room.

When in Orlando to visit the theme parks, make sure you research hotels carefully as photos are deceiving.

I recomend it if you want to travel to Orlando to visit the theme parks.

In my view this hotel as it stands present a health hazard and must pull its act together before inspectors pay a visit.

Would recommend as a base for Universal visit.

I had to visit Disneyworld / Universal studios on thanksgiving.

A quiet place, mid-range to stay with plenty of places to visit and eat nearby.

We have stayed multiple times and will continue to frequent this hotel when we visit Orlando :) as season pass holders to universal, we have been at all times of year and this hotel never disappoints!

My husband and I return to this hotel for give it a second chances because we are menbers of their clubs and we have many reward points for visiting other radisson hotels.

If you do not plan on staying in the room, this is a decent cheap option to sleep while visiting Orlando.

I will stay here anytime I visit Orlando.

My room was on the fourth floor this visit.

Our room were cleaned everyday; fresh towels and needed toiletries were replenished as needed.I will stay in this hotel again when I visit Orlando, FL in the future.

If I was going to visit Universal, I would stay here again.

Will definitely consider staying here for more days next time I visit.

It was our first visit and it will be our ONLY stay here.

The waffle maker has been out since our last visit.

I recently visited this Carlson property for a quick celebratory visit to the Universal parks which are nearby.

As I said I love this hotel, love the lobby and restaurant area,

I stay there regularly and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Disney/Celebration area.

The hotel has a small, cute swimmingpool area, nice lounge areas in front and in the back of the hotel.

Better than the pictures, especially the pool area !

There are many other beautiful hotels in the area and I highly recommend you seek those other options.

In the downtown area you can walk around a small lake, eat, shop, and look at the gorgeous waterfront properties.

I will definitely stay here again hoping the pool area updated and repaired.

The food is very good and the Celebration area is beautiful.

Following the Bohemian style, the eclecticism is the predominant in this boutique hotel, service was as usual a 5⭐ Ming puffenbarger at front desk helped us with every detail and Melissa Gioia at breakfast area was very kind and pleasant.

Close to nice places to eat and to get away from the 'Disneyness' of the area.

The bar area was relaxing and staff quick to serve.

it is central to this delightful area 'celebration' what a super village/town so clean and friendly a kin to a mini Naples !

While the lobby is nice and the area quiet, the rooms are lacking and mine was completely inadequate.

This hotel is nice and shiny on the outside and in the lobby area,

the views of the lake and natural areas are amazing.

And I have to say, this was one of the best hotels in the Orlando area.

Otherwise, it was a lovely stay in a wonderful area!

The area is charming with water views, restaurants and shops, and a beautiful walking path through the neighborhood.

First of all we must say that the town and surrounding area are first class.

Bohemian in Celebration is a unique hotel overlooking the lake near the main Market Street area.

We stay at the Grand Bohemian in Asheville often (we got married at the hotel) so we expected a similar experience.

Celebration is great  to visit and this hotel is the place to stay!

I've stayed at the Bohemian Celebration numerous times over the years and loved it.

The location in downtown Celebration and close to Disney was perfect.

The interior of the hotel is beautiful and feels very unique, right at home in the community of Celebration.

I always love visiting the small, festive town of Celebration.

(I couldn't use the phone - it didn't work).

I had to call three times to get housekeeping; certainly understand the "times,"
