Even so, it was very clean, very convenient, and very affordable.

The resort was very clean and easy to navigate.

The food in the cafe was great, the hotel was super clean and the bus to the theme parks was a life saver!

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Clean and fresh rooms, lovely decor, amazing dining choices, great pool, bus to the Universal parks added up to a great vacation!

The resort was clean, the staff was friendly, outgoing, funny, and extremely helpful.

The pool bar offers tasty and refreshing drinks and to top it off, the bathroom in the pool area was always perfectly clean.

The beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean.

We stayed on the 8th floor in tower 2. the room beautiful and clean and the toiletries supplied were of good quality.

Don't get me started on the kids running up and down the hallway knocking on doors in the middle of the night, or the fire alarm that sent me scrambling in my wheelchair to the locked out elevators.

The only thing that i did notice as  bit of negative of the hotel itself was some of the carpets in the hotel corridors was a bit dirty looking and lifts getting busy and regularly having to wait around, it’s a bit late now yet the lifts near the lobby side or the hotel has 4 lifts yet the far end only has 2 which would made sense having 4 there

Lifts could be a bit of a frustration at times and don’t feel there is really enough for volume of people and number of floors.

Just beware of the bed size…oh and the lifts will drive you insane if you are on the second floor and no real easy way just to walk up a flight of stairs.

Long walking distances to rooms from elevators with not very wide hallways.

There are not enough elevators for a hotel of this size and depending on where your room is located, you may have quite a hike to reach the elevators.

but only used 1 right outside the elevator on the ground floor by my room.

Parking is an extra $15/day and the hotel is laid out so there are extremely long hallways - think of The Shining - so it takes forever to get to an elevator (if one is working and not packed with other guests).

Doors can just be pulled open without having to scan key card, gates to parking area just open without having to use key card, elevators are a nightmare and get stuck.

Only problem we has was the traffic at the elevators due to one being down most of the trip.

When you travel to the elevator was horrible.

1 of the 2 lifts for our area constantly broken and dropped with us in it.

One of the main elevators was broken down the entire length of our stay (7 days) and was told by other guests that it had been broken down during their entire stay, as well (going back at least 2 days before our check in).

- Lifts often out of order, resulting in a wait, especially if staying on higher floors.

First off, the elevators are TERRIBLE and need to be serviced badly..

The elevators are a joke and the pool doesn’t have a hot tub. Why???

The smoke in the room, the keys not working, elevator was down and it’s not safe to be locked out at night with the side door not working.

I requested a first floor so we where not hauling our luggage up elevators or stairs!

The staff is over the top friendly, helpful, and the property had everything you would want or need.

This a fantastic, great value hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The pool was great to hang out in, the Pier 8 food variety and accessibility made eating convenient and it's always great to have a giant Starbucks in the lobby.

The food in the Pier 8 Grab n Go was tasty and good value, better value than a lot of the fast food outlets on idrive etc, Starbucks in the lobby is a great addition too, and the free shuttles to Universal Parks (6 minutes away) was a great relaxer from having to drive everywhere.

Beautiful property minutes from Universal with transportation to and from the parks .

I highly recommend this hotel as its on universal property and seamless boarding of the bus to the park and back.

The hotel room coffee was not preferable to a good cup of coffee with cream in morning when getting ready to go to theme parks etc.

It was a seamless experience from the resort to the parks.

Price, comfort, transportation to and from the parks, it covers everything on your checklist.

Fully recommended it, the rooms are well caped and the shutter to universals amazing, if you have been to Disneys resorts where they will shutter you to every theme park, universal is also doing it as well.

Transportation to the parks and city walk made it even sweeter of a deal.

Early park admission for Wizarding World is a great value, especially with long lines for Hagrids.

The sunset lounge is great to grab a drink after along day in the parks.

Overall a great way to do the parks for a big family.

but could with a toaster in the suites(only gripe) really good transportation to the parks at any time.

The hallways and guest room could definitely be cleaner and showing lots of wear/tear, the walls are paper thin (could hear everything in the halls and neighboring rooms every night), was so loud.

A beeping noise came from a wall outlet no one would service that

Was up until 1 am from boise two nights and awaken to noise at 3 am the last night.

the beds were greasy and dirty and the walls are so thin we were kept up by our room neighbours talking about throwing their husband in the hudson river, and then the next guests we could hear using the toilets!

The walls are thin, you can hear people very clearly.

Also a lot of noise and stomping from hallway outside our room and upstairs at 12am which was disturbing.

The noise from neighbouring apartments can be pretty intense too as the walls do feel quite thin

However, the early morning disturbance from housekeeping despite placing a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, they knocked on it at 8 am, disrupting our morning and causing some inconvenience.

We didn't bother requesting a room change since the resort seemed busy and the noise would still come from the hallway regardless of which room you're in.

There were only delays during some nights when Halloween Horror Nights was on, simply because the traffic around Universal was insane.

but walls and doors are thin, so expect to hear loud guests at all hours.

I was concerned about noise from other reviews so came equipped with ear plugs which I didnt need!

1 main reason is the walls are made of cardboard you hear everyone and everything passing this is very much a common issue with the hotel you don't realise quite how bad it is until your here & it's your pot luck if you have quiet neighbours we unfortunately had 1 off the worst ! !

Unfortunately the room was still noisy even on the 12th floor.

Cons:
-Thin walls as we could hear everything to the side and above us.

Room sound proofing was poor , kids next door were frisky at 7am.

but apart from that no real noise from anywhere.

On the other hand, the staff is great, the food is good (especially the pizza!

We also loved the variety of options for meals at Pier 8.

The facilities are great, the foot court has a great selection of food to quickly grab something to eat.

Food an drink options are great with something for everyone.

The rooms are very accommodating for family's with a separate bedroom for the adults.The cafeteria has numerous choices for every palate for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks with a large seating area for family's.

We were particularly impressed by the variety of food choices, the friendliness of the staff and the huge pool.

The food at Pier 8 was actually very good, much better than I expected and pricing was fair.

A modern hotel, with very good service, very bright rooms and in an excellent location near restaurants, outlets and supermarkets.

The stay became excellent when one of our party became ill and the staff was so helpful!

Transport to the Universal theme parks was nice and we never waited long at all.

One of the highlights of this hotel is that there are easy to acess shuttle buses which take you to the different theme parks and you don't have to wait long.

Our room had a view of the pool which was nice and the other half of our family had a view of the main road and the theme park in the distance

It’s an amazing hotel with really useful transportation to the theme parks.

They are close to theme parks and offer free early admission and free transportation.

To top it off they have a free shuttle that runs every 10 minutes transporting you to and from the theme parks.

From staying in a Universal hotel the early access to Islands of Adventure is a great bonus to access the Harry Potter section, we found going on Hagrid’s ride first was the best option as that was the busiest once the park is open which saved us loads of time.

Endless Summer Dockside is an excellent value hotel that is within a close distance to Universal Orlando Resort.

I have stayed at every Universal Orlando property except Portofino, and for what I find important, Dockside is my first and favorite choice of the resort hotels.

I recently went down a second time this year to Universal Studios Amusement Park.

Dockside Inn and Suites is a great budget friendly option if you’re planning to visit the Universal Studios Parks.

I appreciate that they (and all the Universal Orlando hotels have a Universal store inside them in case you want to buy last minute souvenirs.

One of the best hotels in the universal studio, everything was perfect, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly.

Were impressed with how comfortable the beds were, how clean the room was (access to a dustpan and brush would have been helpful with the amount of sand bought in from the pool and waterparks though) and the efficiency of the shuttle buses to universal studios, island of adventures, city walk and volcano bay.

The hotel is a absolutely comfortable and pleasant to stay   If you are visiting universal Orlando.

Very convenient busing to Universal Studios.

This hotel makes a trip to Universal Studios easy and fun for the family.

Transportation to Universal Studios is very organised, the most we waited for a bus was 5 minutes.

Only thing is I would ask seperate floors for family’s and singles couples/ the kids are loud: walls are thin.

The walls at the hotel are paper thin, spent 9 days at a different hotel at lake buena vista and 5 at universal dockside and ive slept better at the pool!

Noted other reviews said that walls were thin,

Only negatives were as others have said walls very thin.

Two issues we had were that my  Rooms had thinner walls or the other guests were very noisy.

- Paper thin walls - could hear doors slamming and cleaners - very loud even out the way on floor 11.

The walls are almost paper thin you could literally hear every conversation as ever room is a connecting room.

And the wall is paper thin you can hear your neighbors.

Also you can hear a lot through the walls.

Every worker at the hotel, from the Starbucks Barista's to the Handyman was wonderful! We had to call the front desk because our shower tub was clogged and another time because one of the wall plugs was making a high pitched sound (these things happen, no big deal at all!)

The hotel itself was clean and friendly, with a high tech, “cool” vibe my 12 year old appreciated.

It was clean, modern and convienently located.

After a long day of walking, this hotel has easy walks to all rooms, great food options, clean rooms, great staff and fun games by the pool.

We stayed at the Adventure Hotel and wasn’t disappointed rooms a spacious and very clean.

Cleanliness of room, lobby and pool was definitely a defining factor for us.

This stuff went in smooth, left it in for three minutes and it washed out without issue while still leaving my hair soft to the touch.

The hotel was spotless and the beds were comfy.

A couple days after I checked out, they still charged me for the incorrect food & beverage charges.

Parking is a separate charge that we were not aware of until we were there.

I have never been to a hotel where the food opens at 7 and then charges $12 for a terrible breakfast burrito and $4 for a cup of coffee.

I had to wake him to call the credit card company, who transferred him over and over to no avail, telling him because it had been ran so many times, it would need 24 hours to reset.

Between us, there were 3 smartphones, 2 Apple Watches, two laptops, an electric wheelchair, a CPAP machine, a hearing aids charging case, and something else I'm forgetting.

My key card was supposed to also work as a charge card around the park and it didn't - would be great if they'd do what Disney does and also allow your key card as your park ticket as well; and 3.

We didn’t fully catch her mistake until she printed our room key cards with the wrong last name!

As a result, I am writing this review because my credit card now has over $600 in charges on it for a stay that I never received.

but I've never been charged for ice before.

Website says if you stay at hotel you will only pay $18 for overnight parking and I was charged $47.92. Absurd!

Also, be aware billing department is not readily available on the weekend!

But I got a charge on my credit that neither the front desk or their accounting department knows where it came from which i find very disturbing.

Our card didn’t work during our stay, and we had to keep pushing the assist

She was rude and tried to use math to explain that basically staying here you are charged like an installment plan.

I was double charged for parking, was told the first charge on check in was a hold and would clear.

however, it is more worthy the space (or lack there of) you get when you book here for the money they charged.

The problems we had started the 2nd day OCT 11th  the i-pad that operates the whole room, was acting weird and we noticed charge was down to 21 % on our 1st call to service desk in the morning they said they would look into it..We returned to the room at 2 pm to rest and was not fixed was down to 18%, we called a 2nd time to desk they said they would send someone and that we need not be there.
