Only one lift working during most of our 15 night stay meaning you always had a long wait and we were on the 5th floor, otherwise would have walked the stairs!

Only 2 elevators for this hotel, not enough and they are insanely slow.

Our only Con would be the speed of the elevators.

The elevator wait can be ridiculously long.

Near elevator on our floor was washing machine available- - $1.50 Dryer also $1.50 set on heavy duty did not dry clothes well.

We loaded our stuff on a cart only to find the room was right next to the elevators.

There are only 2 elevators so can become slow during busy time.

I really only have two minor complaints the beds were very firm and uncomfortable and the elevators were slow.

I was also disappointed that the hotel seemed to need a “face lift”.

Laundry and ice making machine so if you’re a light sleeper avoid rooms near lift and those might hear disturbance.

Only improvement would be for BOTH elevators to have been working

Anyway, in brief, here are the positive and negatives we found:
Firstly the negatives - the slowest lifts in hotel history, then sometimes they are being cleaned at breakfast time which is the busiest time of day!

Oh and I never found out where the stairs were in my entire stay as thr lifts can be very slow!

He gave us our keys and after waiting more than 10 minutes to get into the elevator (beware of the sloooowest elevator in history), got to the room, opened the door, and the room was not cleaned.

There are only 2 elevators for the entire 7 story building.

The only tiny negative was the number of school graduate parties staying here at the same time, they did have a tendancy to hog the lifts and crowd the breakfast areas at the same time hence me not awarding a 5 star rating.

The only negative I can find is that the elevator was very slow; and I think the tiki bar should open at noon or 1pm - not 3pm.

Our room was a king size on the 5th floor looking out over the car park and the Old Town And Funspot.There are 2 lifts which got a little busy at breakfast time or stairs if you want.

although clean had a musty smell, the work unit was dated and crumbling at the edges and it all just felt dated and old- plus I'm sure I spotted a bug or 2 on bedside table and bedding!!

There is a small amusement park across the street and is very noisy making it difficult to sleep.

The only downside was the noise from other rooms at night as the walls were quite thin and the AIRCON unit noisy,

but can cause noise on Friday and Saturday nights when the horrid cars visit.

but absolutely no noise, and we had a front room.

The following morning when we tried to leave,  the battery on the safe was beeping so we were unsure of leaving our belongings.

My only complaint was the loud air conditioning unit below us so I had to stick my earplugs in to sleep.

Although it is overlooking Funspot (and we had one of the rooms directly opposite) we did not hear and noise or have and disturbance from it at all.

although the theme park was viewable from our room, we did not hear any noise.

but Jacuzzi was more of a spa pool as no pressure in jets, however water was always warm.

It is very loud and ours even had another rattle too it when it ran.

The jets did not work just a faint bubble so you were just sitting in warm water and it is surrounded by trees so a lot of leaves and sand were in the hot tub, very disappointed.

We weren’t interested in it and were a bit overwhelmed with all the car and foot traffic getting back to the hotel.

The jets in the hot tub didn't work that well.

The air conditioning was too noisy at night so we switched it off

The only small negative was the check-in, slow and confused, with the only staff member on duty getting distracted with other guests while serving us.

- the lifts can be very slow 
- there’s only one return shuttle bus.

The slow elevators would be our only complaint.

I love :
- The pool area and the the pool bar 
- Early and generous breakfast
- Small game room 
- Spacious suites with comfortable king size bed
- Proximity to restaurants, Publix and the Disney Parks

I did not like:
- The musty smell in the room
- Somewhat loud a/c
- Slow elevators

Location is close from everything 
Food, attractions and shopping area

Reception team is a bit slow in checkin

People mentioning the slow lifts, they arent as bad as you think!

Only negative during our stay would be that the lifts were quite slow and were very busy during breakfast times.

As other people have said the lifts are quite slow so we mostly used the stairs.

The lifts - we were on the 7th floor and never had an issue with the so called "slow" lifts.

The only item less than perfect was the elevators, which were quite slow,

It has everything: perfect location close to everything yet quiet and safe, tiki bar, beautiful pool, delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, and friendly staff.

The room was spacious with very comfortable bed linen and pillows.

To compliment the hotel, they are very close to Disney World, the parking is free, and the rooms are quite spacious.

They told me to keep the card for any charges

But again we were told we had to pay €80 per night deposit and when I asked if I could pay cash, they said no it had to be card.

The front desk charged a member of my team's credit card when I had previously paid for the room with my American Express.

Now having to claim through credit card company.

My colleague was using the work credit card and there had been some issues with it at check in.

By the way, they will want to charge you like 18 dollars for internet.

The rooms are a bit dated and outlet/plug space was pretty scarce for our 2 room suite forcing us to unplug things like a lamp to be able to charge our phone at our bedside.

but very expensive, room service was a disaster as it took an hour to get a hamburger and a sandwich and they forgot our soda (but charged us).

Room rate quoted was $159, total charged after resort fee of $40, parking fee or $36 (not valet, actually far away), total was $262.

The only thing that lets this Hotel down is the EXTRA CHARGES, $35+tax(18%) per/day Resort Tax, $33+tax, Car Parking per/day + $11.12 Service Charge for breakfast.

Deposit that we were told would go back on our card at checkout still was not on card two days later and we were told, when we called, it could be up to seven days; it is the bank's fault.

Charging outlets, both electrical and USB, were few and far between.

So my credit card has been charged and that remains unresolved along with the rate issue.

I couldn't even charge my phone on the nightstand.

If you're charging anything for a "resort" fee, why are there not even microwaves in the rooms?

The price that this hotel charges for a night including resort fees, parking, internet, the multiple taxes I would have been better off staying at park resort and we would have been a lot more comfortable stay.

There is also a $30 daily resort fee which again most charge.

It's a little ridiculous how much they charge .

BE AWARE - We were charged $500 for parking during our stay when we told them we did not have a car!

I  gave her the free parking pass and she said she would take care of it, only to find out that my credit card was charged for it.

Hotel is ok. Be aware after they changed you multiple unexplainable resorts fees, parking fee is $36/ day additional.

$36 a day for parking ( that is regular parking and not valet) so be prepared for that.

The icing on the cake was when 17 cars at the conference were broken into in the hotel parking lot and the hotel did NOTHING

You do have to pay resorts fees and for parking,

Opportunity’s: pay for parking, some nights can be up to $30.00 per day.

although you do need a physical key for parking, so I had to ask for one, no big deal.

The Bad:

- Resort Fee/ Self Parking Fee: $35/$30 per day fee.

No valet parking and the directional signs could use some improvements.

We were already spending a good amount between all the additional fees of parking $30 AND a resort fee $35 (each per day).

Surprise to me when I pulled into the parking lot and discovered the sign stating this.

There is a daily parking fee at the resort that is kind of pricey

People have complained in reviews about the daily parking fee of $25 which every hotel in the snares charges.

Resort fee + parking + tax, be ready to pay a lot more than what you see.

No valet parking, no room service, ridiculously limited bar dinner menu.

The drinks were slightly expensive this time,

Food/drinks were very expensive
They do have shuttles to the parks which seemed good in the morning

The resort fee is outrageous for its benefits.

Expensive international calls, being passed from one department to another.

It was expensive and the portion sizes were rather small.

The rooms/lobby were a bit dated, especially with the hotel's cost.

but be prepared to pay over $100 more than you are told.

When we went to check out we received a $45 a day per room resort fee.

So, it may be 5 stars if I rate the property without room condition.

but with the current exchange rate next time it’ll be back to a villa! !

The issue that we had is that the services fee for breakfast was not included in initial package.

The drinks and food offered at the shops and restaurant to are way over priced for the small selection and portions.

The room is more spacious than the average and that was really great.

Elevators are fast, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable.

Room was very spacious and everything was very clean like you would expect.

- As an elite member, we did get a room upgrade and room was spacious and clean.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very spacious and enough room for four of us as there is a door that separates the bedroom from the living room.

but this hotel well and truly exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean with a good powerful shower, a fridge that was cold enough to keep milk and fruit fresh (imperative in Orlando as the parks don’t seem to understand 5 a day!!)

There really should be more strategically placed elevators.

The hotel is older and the hallway carpets needed vacuuming and the elevators were dirty.

Cons - the hotel’s elevators were all the down at the end and there were only two (as far as we could tell); we had some lengthy waits for an elevator.

I have two minor complaints: 1) It is a long hotel and there are elevators at each end

My only negative is the long walk to the elevators.

There is a side entrance closer to the elevators which leads to the parking lot.

One of the elevators was out, which kind of made everything slow,

The room we were given was averagely clean, it wasn't very modernized it definilty needs a face lift.

Bad idea having elevators on the sides of the building instead of the lobby.

We arrived on the 24 Oct for 2 weeks a family of 5 in a one bedroom suite there building work going on as we knew about the room was ok with a kitchen.The only problem is anyone can use the lifts to the hotels floors for security you should use your key card to use them.

There are no signs indicating where to find the elevator, ice, pool, washer/dryer, or exercise rooms.

On another occasion, someone had spilled coffee in the elevator and it too was still there much later when we left for the parks.

the lifts in the hotel are placed at weird locations.

The hallways, the elevator, and even the room were never really clean.

The elevators are down a hallway at the opposite end of the front desk.

The elevator is inconveniently placed a very long way from the lobby.

Unfortunately the building is poorly designed with the elevators at either end of the building

but made it inconvenient as the elevator was out of service off and on and the main floor corridor was closed so it required extra walking (stairs) every time we went to the lobby/pool/breakfast area from our room.

This time I regret booking here: hallway smelled like chemicals, breakfast very basic & blah, room subpar for a Marriott, underwhelming like a Laquinta, pillows flat, do not recommend! !

However, the shower had a strange sewer like odor.

- there was a damp smell around the hotel and the carpets and sofas in the room were not as clean as I would have liked it.

- Water smells and taste like sewage, shower, toilet, our hair, laundry, everything.

The sofa in our rm was dirty and worn out, the rm smell like mildew , and our tub had a permanent dirty ring in it.The complimentary breakfast was completely horrible.

The room smelled strongly of Clorox which never really went away

There was a weird smell, like they put Febreeze on the ac filter.

The hotel smells musty and our room smelled so musty, we had to open windows whenever we were in the room.

I'm kinda poicky with hotel, don't want bed bugs or filth.

There is a musty smell everywhere - the central air system doesn’t seem to be doing a good job of removing humidity.

Couch very uncomfortable and green light flashing from smoke alarm in bedroom is VERY annoying while trying to slep

but the room stunk terribly, to the point I went to the front desk with our concern.

Despite all the non smoking signs-our hallway smelled bad like weed every day-which was gross-and said something to the front desk-but nothing really could be done I guess.

However, on Christmas morning they served burned grits!

The water has a slight sulfer smell, probably not the hotels fault,

we had 3 weeks of multiple critters in the room including lizards, air con that worked to a temperature it wanted to, dust you could write your name in, mouldy shower curtains, beds changed once in 3 weeks, a horrible mouldy substance in the ice maker, bins not emptied daily, having to request toilet roll from reception (then having to go and get it), elevators out of action, bar opened as when they saw fit (not sticking to any rigid times), no restaurant (only snack foods), laundry tumble driers that don't get hot ($2 for washing then $2 for drying), and the list goes on,

The rooms are spacious, clean and offer a kitchen area, which is a great plus.

the couches had 110V plugs on either arm so you could plug in your devices for charging while sitting or watching TV.

It's a shame that I mistakenly handed in my debit card at check-in and they charged me 240 dollars to my savings account.

but more importantly nearly 20% of the parking lot is "blocked off" with cones due to equipment, storage containers, and more - so despite not having enough parking to accommodate their guests, the hotel expects to galge everyone $15/day for parking fees when they are already charging a pretty penny for their rooms (compared to other hotels in the area).

The website says they charge for parking,

Yet, if you park there you will still be charged $15 a day to park.

They do charge for parking, which irks me at every hotel.

As far as the parking, you get in and out with your room key and there is a daily charge.

but needed the room key card for parking.

She gave us a card, we went to the room and the card didn't work.

OVERALL: It is a bit dated, with no USB ports in room for charging phones and tablets.

It was late and I didn't want a stranger in my room, so I offered to stay since I was just there for one night and I requested a credit or a discount on a future stay.

so you will have to take your car and parking is charged daily.

I was charged $23 for a movie I did not watch or even try to watch.

I didn't drive, so I wasn't charged for parking; I still don't understand why they charge for parking in an area that seems suburban and not close to a business or downtown location.

Unfortunately this hotel like many others charges you to park your vehicle.
