Easy access to Universal City Walk and the Universal parks.

Great Location for all things Universal with the walk, Taxi Boat and Shuttle bus all very convenient to get you to City Walk and all the Parks.

The boat shuttles to and from the parks/ city walk to Loews Royal Pacific made everything so easy and quick.

It was a 7 min walk to the city walk, self parking was easy, Valet guys were helpful and friendly.

The boat to City Walk is really helpful and we also enjoyed the short walk on occasion.

Excellent location, just a short walk from City Walk and the Parks.

If you are into walking for exercise, there is a nice walking path from the hotel to City Walk and the Parks.

Just take a quick walk to city walk or you can take a boat or bus if there is rain.

This resort is amazing, close to Islands of adventure, City walk and universal studios.

It’s an easy walk to city walk and the parks and the express passes are a MUST!

We loved thecoation as it was ose in proximity to Universal theme parks and city walk.

The location of this hotel allowed the feasibility to walk to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and City Walk.

Location ideal for easy access to City Walk and Parks.

But the City walk which is just a ride away has great options if you are not too tired.

The location was perfect, only a 7 minute walk to the theme parks and city walk.

This hotel is close to all the parks and City Walk.

The availability of the water taxi was great - we took advantage of the water taxi every day which took us from the hotel to City Walk.

The room next too us was noisy and thre their bedding and food boxes into the hall and blocking our door .. no One would come clean it up for days

Our bathroom door was broken and took an hour to ROOM SERVICE water.

A very nasty upsetting letter was placed under my door on Sunday, 8/6 stating my credit card payment had been declined.

There was essentially a hallway in the room, where a door could have been added that would have killed 80% of the corridor noise dead.

We leave our room at 0700 to get breakfast and early park access, put the make up room sign on the door and return at 1600 to find it’s not done….whilst getting changed to go out again, get a knock on door saying your my last room, if I don’t come in now it won’t be done……next day decide to have a lie in, knock on door at 0915, we ask them to come back as we are just getting ready, left at 10, put note on door to make up room….came back at 2000 hrs….not done…..only a little moan,

Our room smelled(smells stay in carpet, don't understand why they haven't put some type of laminate down) The dividing door to the bathroom was terribly off track.

but the refrigerator did not work and needed to be replaced and the hotel room door stuck pretty bad.

The people next door also said their USB ports were worn out
and not usable.

The bathroom just had a sliding door that didn't provide much privacy as you could hear everything.

There is nowhere to park a double stroller without partially blocking the door.

The layout was a bit odd as there was a lot of empty space right by the door,

You can hear every conversation that happens in the hallway - the doors are not soundproofed 4.

The walls were dirty, the blankets were ratty, the bathroom door was off its rollers so you had to have upper body strength to be able to close it fully, the view was awful.

- The bathroom door does not have a lock.

The noise from the family in the adjacent room was made worse by the connecting door.

It’s a little noisy trying to sleep each time someone in your party gets up to use the bathroom because the door doesn’t shut and the light shines through.

The bus driver ran over a curb, parked the wheelchair ramp in front of a poll then could not get the bus doors to close multiple times and walking was not an option due to a thunder storm.

The carpet in the hallways and rooms are dingy, and the amount of dirt under the sliding door in the bathroom is gross.

So grabbed my daughter and marched down to reception, very blasé staff not seeming to be bothered . Spoke to the first manager - who said it was “normal” for Florida (a seven story room with no opening windows/balcony doors!!)

Eventually falling asleep we are then disrupted at 8.30am to abrupt house keeping “checking out?” I explained politely “yes at 11am” 9.30am door again “checking out yet!” 

This was worst experience I’ve experienced in a long long time.

Self parking is overpriced at 28 dollars a night to park in an open lot that is not close to the hotel.

What I liked :

- High quality beds
- Great conciergerie
- Many services provided
What I did not like :

- Too loud, poor room phonic isolation
- Food is overpriced
- Universal Express Pass doesn't apply for Volcano Bay
- Room theme is very poor and not adequate with the standard.

While the hotel may seem expensive, it comes with UNLIMITED Universal Express Pass.

King suite charged $400 per night: Suite was half the size of a cheap suite at Disney.

Not a great impression when the rollaways cost money and you are staying at a $400+/night hotel.

We wouldn't normally pay this amount for a hotel (or pay for express passes)

It was dirty and old, and smelled a little, and parking was overly expensive at $30/day,

Also, when checking out we were not allowed to have a luggage cart, essentially setting us up for having to use the Bell hop services and pay one more tip.

but not the original assigned room or type I booked, reserved and paid for.

Moved to a lower resort at the promise of a lower price (had to pack up within 10 minutes) and were charged full price for the replacement resort with much fewer ammenities.

The shop in the lobby (Tuk Tuk I think it is called) has a limited range on offer and is very expensive (two bottled drinks and two bananas came to just under $12).

People stay here / pay a premium for the Express Pass to avoid long queues in the adjacent theme parks.

I would probably rate this hotel as substantially overpriced if it was not for these factors.

Additionally:

We had no working in room wifi for the duration of our (shortened) stay - Tower two 5th floor (5th Aug) 

I had to try 3 floors to find a working ice machine (5th & 4rd not working) 

For the cost of the room I would have expected a complementary bottle of water in the room rather than 2 bottles with a 7.5USD price tag attached.

The price of the hotel is making this not worth it.

but when all things were considered… although the room was expensive, getting by the early entry (btw you should show up 45 minutes to an hour ahead of opening time) and the unlimited fast pass meant that the room was almost free due to the ridiculous price increase on these if you buy them piecemeal during the summer peak.

but it costs a bomb to stay here and the house keeping is a let down

Also, we split the room cost between families and now we cannot get the billing correct.

The rooms are quite expensive for what you get.

Staying here gives you fast pass access to most of the rides in the park (except Hagrid) and rooms and well appointed and comfy.

but very clean, everything you need in the room and the pool area is lovely.

The room was nice, and beds very comfortable.

The housekeeping staff and, Marie S. was also very helpful and always made our room smell so clean.

The room was spacious enough for us and was surface clean

He arranged for us to have adjoining rooms and was so very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, including the bed.

Overall, it was a great experience and worth the price, especially since you get the Express passes included in the room cost. 5/5

but the staff was amazing, location was great, room was adequate for two people and the park perks (were looking at you, unlimited express pass.  )

Everyone was friendly and the room and the rest of the hotel were very clean.

Excellent value considering the benefits you get from booking a room.

The room was kept spotless by housekeeping.

The resort is beautiful, staff is excellent (especially Kellie F)the food is great and the convenience to the parks (water taxi) is perfect!

Being so close to the parks and the water taxi is a great service never waiting  more than a few mins and fast passes to the park which are included really make it, we walked on to most rides with no q, kids loved it.

The pool was great, and so were the water taxis.

The hotel is walking distance from Universal (10 mins) or you could catch the water taxi (easy to get on, also about 10 mins).

While both a shuttle and water taxi were available, we opted to walk down the beautiful path.

The water taxi is a quick convenient ride to the parks.

We had an amazing time and the water taxi to and from the hotel was very convenient.

We used the water taxi everyday to get to the parks, very fast and convenient transportation.

Very close location to the parks and you can take the water taxi, shuttle bus or even walk to them!

We enjoy the boat taxis that take to the parks and City Walk as well as taking you back to the hotel when you are done having fun.

The water taxi was so fun and quick to and from the parks, we never waited more than 5 minutes to hop on a taxi.

The water taxi was super convenient and if you wanted to walk, it was really close.

The water taxis are super convenient and the food in the Royal Club lounge was excellent!

I highly recommend the water taxi due to the convenience and ease of security into City Walk.

Loews Royal Pacific is a beautiful resort just a short 5-10 minute walk from the Islands of Adventure theme park.

We had a good time visiting the Universal Theme Parks.

We were able to check-in well ahead of time in order to use fast passes in the Universal Studios theme parks.

We choose this hotel because of its proximity to the Universal theme parks and the City Walk area.

Definitely the best theme park hotel hotels we have stayed in

We didn't have to rent a car due to the close proximity to the theme parks and City Walk.

The resort was within short walking distance to  the theme park with a nice nature view.

Free express passes, early admission to the theme parks, and transportation 
made a $500 a night stay worth the money, especially when you take in consideration for the cost of express passes.

Everything was excellent from the arrival, check-in, staff, getting our theme park tickets and the location was perfect.

My wife and I had a great time at Universal theme parks.

It was close to all of the Universal theme parks and City walk which was nice.

We stayed here for two nights and the hotel had a great atmosphere, staff could not do enough to help us, the pool area was clean and fun for the family, the walk to the theme parks was short and the water boats were frequent.

We looked at many Universal properties and chose Royal Pacific due to its theme/pool area, family suite option, and its proximity to City Walk and the theme parks.

We booked a night on our two week stay from UK to assist our visit to universal theme parks and received excellent friendly service in the beautiful royal pacific,we were upgraded to concierge level and we and our two grandchildren enjoyed Royalty service from friendly staff also restaurant food of highest quality.Access to parks by boat or river walk very relaxing and reduced stress on our stay poolside so enjoyable with brilliant  facilities and attentive knowledgeable staff.We look forward to a return visit for longer stay to utilise benefits of early park entry and express ride entry,thanks to all at royal pacific rooms so well appointed with amazing views

Club level food and drink options were great, especially the ability to grab unlimited bottled water for days in the theme parks.

Went in early January, weather was beautiful, pool was amazing, theme parks were steady, not too busy,

Loved the oversized bath tub and bathroom television.

My room was perfect and loved the size of the bathroom especially the TV inside the mirror.

Check In at Tower II was so clean and very modern, love the 65 LG TV and inside the bathroom I was  amaze with mirror  TV, the room space was also comfortable, the pool was huge and with a great food bar.

Nice garden type tub and even a tv in the bathroom mirror.

The bed is amazing, the tub is wide and deep and -effect for a soak , tv inside bathroom mirror is a nice bonus, room is welcoming and roomy, huge wall tv, always pleased to stay here.

The king bedroom suite is very large with two enormous tv’s and one in the bathroom for good measure.

I really appreciated the tv in the bathroom and the motion sensing night lights under furniture, very fancy.

The rooms, restaurants, pool, exercise options, and convention rooms were excellent  with quality, professional service.

I wish all the conventions I attended were here if you have the money its definitely worth it

Amazing Time, Great Experience, No Hassle During Convention Times, All In A Joyful Time.

I stayed at the Hyatt for the Spooky Empire Convention with a group of 6.

The tub is wide and deep and great for a magnesium soak especially after a long day or days of going to conventions.

I was here for a large convention and the location was perfect, with a covered walkway to the convention center.

The convenience of the convention was why we stayed

This is a very large resort with restaurants, spa, multiple pools, convention space, ballrooms.

The convention layout was straightforward and easy to navigate.

It was a great place to stay for the convention.

On a busy convention week, the staff at the front desk (Cinthia & Anthony) went out of their way to accommodate us.

Our convention is there every year and we do stay, I was happy with the offered discount and the convenience.

From the check in desk just for my Convention to the meals at Fiorenzo, my stay was a delight.

This was by far the best hotel I've stayed in while at a  business convention.

We stayed here for a convention so the convenience to the convention center across the street was awesome.

Any time that I am in town for a convention, I am happy to stay at the Hyatt Regency.

The hotel was very busy so i did not even utilize the resort amenities that I was charged for.

Also make sure that they do not over charge you for.

Also we paid for parking & like $30 hotel credit.

It took 4 times to get my card programmed to finally work!

I ended up hot spotting from my cell phone (roaming charges from out of country) and numerous calls with IT did not resolve the issue.

And never got my 2 bottles of water or $10 day resort credit.

She wrote the wrong room number on our card and didn’t apologize.I used to stay at Hyatt properties frequently for work

The hottub was broken, overcharged  by adding 25% extra by adding in a tip and didn't tell everyone,  and food at our conference was subpar at best.

We are airing from 9AM to almost 11PM - he wanted to charge us for the pool and gym usage, and it wasn’t like that other years.

They charge about $40 a day for the so called “resort fees” and trust me, this is NOT a resort.

Digital keys were not working the entire stay, which meant that we had to use key cards.

I am absolutely disgusted you have charged my card for no reason and especially as I cancelled my entire reservation for July 2023 stay (in feb 2023) and September 2023 stay (in March 2023).

but since we had the credit we did not really have any other viable opportunity to use it elsewhere.

Received wrong info so many times and I hate the fact that I had to call them after my stay and billing dept was very rude.

My coworker had issues with internet and key cards not working properly for the shared areas like pool and gym.

Reports of broken ice machine not resolved, phone in room did not work, had small roach on countertop, and I left an item in the room that contained my business cards with contact info,

TV not working, housekeeping not responsive, checkout painfully slow which I needed to do at desk because there was an errant charge on my bill.

They need to fix the glitches when accepting payments from company credit cards.

Drinks are a bit pricey, and everything includes an additional 5% surcharge.

I feel that this was a reasonable rate for a hotel room, which is all I used (aside from their "Market" with Starbucks.

The staff were friendly either it be at the front desk, in the Italian restaurant or in the 24/7 market.

The hotel was lovely and I liked that they had the Market there.

Having the Market with Fresh foods available was a good benefit.

The market and restaurant staff were very friendly and quick.

I’ll also say the 24 hour market is very convenient if you don’t want to leave the hotel.

Very large and has all that you need, including a to-go market, restaurant, Starbucks, retail store, bar, large pool and excellent fitness center.

Also loved the food at the 24 hour on-site market.

Great Hyatt hotel next to the convention center with fantastic staff, best valet service (you can finally order your car via text message), great pool, also nice in hotel market, located next to icon park with lots of restaurants.

The hotel is huge, the market is big and service is fast.

The  Market has excellent option for on the go breakfast salads pizza and I loved Korean Beef Bowl .

Market on site, great if you need to grab something quick.

Good location, clean, 24hr market place was a good option for the teenagers.

They have a 24 hour market, which is convenient as well as a really good restaurants near the hotel.

OMG THE HOTEL IS AMAZING  The Service From Check- In with Jazz To The Market With Kier To The Pete & Tiffany Everything Was Just Amazing.

I appreciated the swift coffee service at the Market.

The 24 hour market store was convenient and offers good food and beverages.

We chose to make use of it at the hotel's market for coffee and breakfast.

The dining in the hotel was so convenient, especially the 24 hour market.

Resort fee and parking was a little expensive for not being a fully inclusive resort.

It didnt help that the young man who greeted us upon arrival then told us self parking was 'complimentary' only to find out the complimentary part would cost us $35.00 Again, if I have to drive around and find parking myself I shouldn't have to pay anything.

My only complaint is that the parking garage is a walk away from hotel.

Furthermore, the parking was too expensive.

Had a difficult time getting into the parking garage numerous times!

I would have thought that staying at the hotel and paying the required resort fee would have at least given us a discount on the cost of parking.

Be ready for $35 a day parking and front desk staff thats too busy to help customers.

But the self parking fee (now $35 per night +tax) seems to have greatly inflated since the last time we visited (pre-Covid).

but I still had issues with the keys when trying to leave the parking garage.

Only complaint is self parking is pricey at $35.

Gave overall rating of 4 because parking is expensive and price of the room a little high.

And the parking garage isn't actually attached to the hotel so I hope you don't have to arrive or leave during one of Florida's daily thunderstorms.

The only negative for us, was the location of the parking garage didn't seem very close.

The shuttle to Sea World was not available the day we were going so we had to pay more money for parking.

Only one of four elevators working in the parking garage.

Keep in mind there are resort fees of approximately $40 and self parking is $35 a day which is high

Our problems were with the parking which was expensive and very far and we needed to switch three rooms due to the first two having carpet stains which looked very unsanitary.
